oh dude all noodle okay here's what Damien has for us today look at that noodle and it's tore out half the code armed war out you can see the Cobra slang cable job up there hang in where it broke and it landed on the guy's house yeah it did okay use in the house so this is gonna be a removal and that's a thin area up there where the co Tom tore out and we'll be rigging above that point so this should be pretty interesting so here we are up at the break still quite a ways to go a little bit of rain got the occasional wind that's and you can see it's a bit thin where it broke where the Kodama split it's not that Pleasant and a lot of bushy stuff the wrong way but if we speed lying over the house then we'll will get tension on the tree toward the direction that it would be stronger that's like sticking here spur on the flat side of a fence or something is the kind of thing here that makes you want to pray come into a place like this will make you think about stuff you're probably gonna want the Vermeer way out by that white fence in the circle I can feel the breezes kick in so the sooner I get that speed line the better okay take the speed line over that Ridge down there yeah and all the way down to you keep going and it'll be kind of yanking the tree back and forth so keep the tension on keep the tension on it on the back sway [Music] then it'll have a nursery going back the other way and that'll be terrible that Terr oh yeah I've got I've got two on [Applause] [Music] ha [Applause] you love it all right slowly back the tension off we've got two big limbs off so we're feeling a little better we got a little break in the wind it got gusty for a minute or two okay oh yeah the movement towards the direction you hate is really really not cool it's not good for you either Jeff I see you over there I don't you be laughing if I go you're going with me however that's so spooky again okay I've got pretty big one on here once this guy is off happiness will follow gotta get this now all in the house and it flies over okay I'm safely on the belly side [Music] [Music] that's it for now that big one was pulling on me down by the riverside down by we're no fools we go to school down by down by the riverside trees put me in school oh my glasses fell oh boy that's not very studious alright you guys the camera probably never did this tree justice but we looked at it at the estimate yeah it looks gnarly but then we showed up to do the job and it looked even worse and nothing changed it was just go time is all so he's up there and we were using the speed line as a guideline back anchored to the Vermeer to kind of create some peace of mind and when I look at this job I thought you know I'll put a guideline in this I'll put another line and I'll be tied into a different tree you know just to ease the nerves a little bit Auguste is up there and I asked him hey August while you're climbing around making that thing sway back and forth creating all these dynamic forces would you like me to go ahead and just tighten up the speed line so we're using it as a guideline but August is so gnarly he just says man and I'm thinking if this isn't the tree for a guy line any chance you could get one what would be that case and we discovered that the only way August would want the guy line right now is as if there was alligators on the ground a forest fire down here probably about 1,500 feet feet tall and rivers of love yeah I can and fight this tighten this up okay okay he's ready he's ready for me to tighten the line up all right here we go here we go [Music] hey man the machine the machine needs to move over a little so we can stop hitting this tree just move it move it over like five feet to the right [Music] then if you come forward you won't pull the tree to the side as much because the tops will be a little heavier I'm not saying I'm scared I'm just saying here comes one of the top Oh Oh your doll noodle noodles are cool unless they're damaged that's making me think this bigger top doesn't want to be speed line yeah like like maybe I'll lower it straight down [Music] oh I'm using the inches a good a small thing quite a bit yeah I'm gonna use a couple speed line swings too low I don't want to bend this one to the side and it's it's uh it's such a noodle here it goes god bless it [Applause] when I was swinging back it's weird it's rude how your brain works when you're swinging back you know the first part is cool because it's kind of pulling it down at the way then when you swing back it makes you taller better I see you cowboy Haller so why would you cowboy holler when you're going back the way you don't want it's like a painful joy yeah that's exactly right oh praise the Lord look at this view you

great video. last week my neighbor had a tree removed and i was glued to my window watching the guy at the top (then found my way to this sub). y’all are wild and have my respect!

Dude, i watched that this morning and hated every second of it. You can see the weak point clothespinning open from the chunking. What the actual fuck.

That being said, climbing and observing PNW species for 30 or however many years gives mr hunicke a pretty good idea of what’s a suicide mission and what isn’t.
