Rented a cabin way in the boonies in Blue Ridge, GA at the end of September. The town was a unwelcoming shit hole but the cabin was beautiful. Around 5:30 in the morning on the last day I heard what sounded like a woman singing loudly in the woods. It went from one side of the cabin to the other, quickly drifting off deeper into the forest. Weird.

An old man we called crazy Leonard (he was my friends great uncle) lived in a shitty old shack of a trailer in the woods down here in southeast Georgia. He didn’t have power and just got drunk and smoked weed/crack/cigs all the time. Dude would drink 2 cases of beer in a day. Anyways he told us he heard a scream one night that sounded like nothing he’d ever heard out there growing up in the woods. He knew all the animal noises too. His nephew I’m friends with has a very believable swamp ape story from when he was out hunting on the Altamaha.

The first part is real screams and noises the second half, after the break is the OP's neighbor's son, who overheard the adults discussing putting the camera back out, and decided to hide off camera and make "caveman" noises" 🙄 OP says he didn't learn about the "prank" until years later
