Rebuilding A Wrecked 2019 GMC Duramax Part 10

come on out dang-son what's up guys welcome back to the channel so today we're going to continue working on our 2019 GMC Duramax and as you know in the previous video we never did complete our lift kit and that's exactly what we're going to do today starting with the rear end we are going to go ahead and weld in that bracket for the rear traction bar then as soon as we're done with that we're going to move on to the front end hopefully our part comes in in time and we can complete the entire lift kit [Music] [Music] alright guys so it is actually the next day we just got an early start the other day because we just wanted to complete this rear suspension we got everything a hundred percent on the rear suspension even the traction bars and we went ahead and align the rear axle I know a lot of you been asking did we align the rear axle and yes we did last night that's why I wanted to get an early start because it took some time to align that thing but it's a 100% but now since we're gonna wait on that front suspension piece to come in should be in any minute now but we showed you guys our tires now it's time to show you guys our wheels check these suckers out man they have been hiding you I think you guys are gonna love them yeah we've been we've been debating on which was setup we should go with we've got some sick wheels and tires you got some sick tires sick top of these now it's gonna be sick wheels and tires you're right you're right but if you guys don't notice them are 24 so we're definitely going with some 24 inch wheels some that come to go perfectly with a 6.5 inch lid exactly we wanted it fit perfectly and with it a new 35 kind of look small I think yeah 35 will probably look we don't want to do that but they check these suckers out right now these are specialty for jumpy floors and the color of that oh my goodness that I've always dreamed of having some specialty forged wheels dudes my goodness guys with a chrome to match the truck that Denali you know the Denalis have that chrome accents everywhere it looks really good I'm not a big chrome fan until we got this Denali NIT Luke's really good on the trail of it we were honestly thinking about the possibility of powder coat name but for now we're gonna leave him chrome yeah a lot of people powder coat these things gloss black but I just love the chrome look and the way it's gonna match up with the truck I think it's just gonna look absolutely amazing so right now we're gonna try to figure out how to get these things to a tire shop because all we have is the danger Ranger and there's not much room in there but let's go ahead and try to figure something out I have to remove this little top layer this air Dyneema see how do you get this thing off I don't know right there is a hinge and then you got other hinges here so hopefully we could figure something out because I mean we don't have any other pickup truck now do we we don't we don't at all so I think we'll figure something out and I guess we'll head that way so before we actually head to the tire shop we are gonna test our wheel tire pressure sensor yeah top pressure sensor to see if they'll actually work with the wheels if it'll work that'd be awesome but because I really want to run and you know I wouldn't want to run him without the sensor that way we know what pressures were running at all times because these wheels are gonna be on her for good yeah it's just gonna be sticking up like that should work you think so so yeah if we're gonna use them that means we're gonna have to eat probably even make maybe two three trips because we're gonna have to take our stock wheels to the tire top as well probably gonna first things first probably take the stock wheels and dish mountain mount them take the sensors output regular mountain regular bathtubs in there and then once we do that we'll bring him back take the tires there and then after we take the tires drop them off then we're gonna come back and bring these wheels so we're gonna make some trips but we got a lot of work on our hands and it's perfect you know because we're gonna be waiting on that cross member to come in yeah we're gonna get some work done so let's go ahead and get started [Music] we're good to go and we're just getting our sensors off first as you can see we're just gonna screw them off we we are ordering new bow stem heads though then you can buy them that screw in with your sensor so we didn't know that until they let us know we're thinking about just pulling the bow them out and everything like that and we're using it but it's good to have brand new ones in every new wheel setup so we're gonna go ahead put order in on four of them right now we're actually going to go ahead and remove these three sensors and head back to the house [Music] [Applause] hi I'm Rena they pull up in my ear crazy why didn't you know class man I'm happy to see you Big Mike I got me a lot bro I got a boat too are we gonna be out there those poor dopes trying to do now I need to go get my jet skis up the nathas we were telling me about that Europe alrighty guys so we got him all loaded up Big Mike here you guys ain't never seen big Maya but she's gonna save the day for her own now you better believe that yeah Big Mike I've been doubt like a bit my gravy you know I hung up you know we got a beast from time to time yeah yes sir my man's get seen you Thank You Danny TV yeah now we're back at the house we're about to take these tires there and then we're gonna make a third trip and take the wheel so let's go ahead and get these suckers to the shop [Music] all righty guys so we are here at the tire shop we got everything here we even got our valve stems for the sensors everything yep we are good to go finally the third trip so let's go ahead and unload these suckers and start mounting them dude I'm too excited about this hey wait after we get it mounted I'm curious to see how these things will balance out these are supposed to be the best wheels I'm in the game pretty much you know I mean there's others out the top of the line right here in our tires on top of the line so hopefully they balance out as good as possible you know we're gonna try to balance them out to zero you know that's what exactly we need to so let's go ahead and unload everything and get started let's do it [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] shoot now stuff but hey no matter that blaster there you have the air plus that air cannon yes sir and look at that part I love how it just sits right on that wheel over there I just look so good now it's time to fill them all up with air and also then move on to the balancer yep bounce about as perfect as possible then we're gonna head back to the house and I think we just got our lips in so we did do so where it's gonna be sitting on all fours before the end of this movie [Music] all righty give us so good to go tires and Danny TV they hooked us up now we are heading back to the house to finish off that lift kit let's do it man I'm excited super excited I can't wait it took a while to get these tires on but we managed now it's time to head back to the shop all right guys we are back and before we unload these things we did get our part in for our front suspension so let's go ahead and crack this sucker open and start installing it [Music] alright guys so check this out we just completed this driver side we did add a brand new braided brake line it's a little bit extended and we went ahead and left the sway bars loose and a few other things just because whenever we get that side on everything is gonna need to be adjusted and then once everything is 100% on we're gonna go ahead torque everything through and then we're gonna throw on our wheels man this is the most exciting part right now so let's go ahead hop on that side not place anytime and finish off this lid [Music] oh my goodness guys this thing is a lot taller than we expected yeah this thing is huge look how tall it is already and then it's still got to go up a little bit more but to fit the wheels right now we're about actually throw them on we're just tightening making sure everything is tight right now also greasing up some of these uh joints right here but man dude it looks pretty dang good look at that I love how it looks looks so much better with all the skid guards there and the lower control arms just looks like straight beef but we are kind of in a hurry because we're trying to make it to the alignment machine before they close I mean if we don't make it just gonna have to go early in the morning but we're gonna try to make it right now we just finished everything up I'm about to cap off these little areas right here there's little caps that go on them I just greased that up and it's time for the wheels yeah it definitely needs alignment after this but dang we do have to pump the brakes we can't forget oh yeah I almost forgot good thinking so right now actually gonna go ahead and pump the brakes let's do that real quick [Music] [Applause] drop her down let's see how she sits dude oh my goodness yo oh my goodness let's see if there's any rubbin my absolutely love house it's you got to get out here you ain't guy yeah go ahead lower it down hopefully it drives good but let me see if there's any Robin no Robin here looks to clear through that is awesome I know right yeah let's put this thing yeah let's pull this thing outside won't be leaving these lug nuts right here throw those away I guess we'll have to turn left and right and see if we rub that bumper there but yeah I think we'll actually be able to get to the alignment machine first and then we'll take care of all the little knickknacks later probably because I really want to get this thing aligned but go for it dude all their own out let me let me wipe my hands blast em hands man it is super hot today but we were just we were going at it man was a lot of fun this lift was pretty dang simple I got a safe so now it's the moment of truth trying to see how it handles I guess we can't tell 100% right now because it's not 100% aligned I think squats is just a little bit I think it's just perfect that looks so good maybe the front end will go down after a while that saddle is kind of stiff I'm wondering if you got to adjust them or something there is some knob on the reservoir yeah you could do like softer hard settings when we load it barely move maybe it's for jumps yeah good jump some jumps come on out my goodness looks absolutely leaky and it is a little bit spotted it looks like no I'm just absolutely flabbergasted I never used that word and like you know we weren't big fans of chrome I mean that's not chrome it is polished polished aluminum but it just goes so well with the grill and everything headlights mirrors and all the Denali things on this truck dude let's let's go ahead and hit the road and get this line it before they close yeah I want to see how it drives right now because we do a lot nothing so yeah go ahead and do it all right so it looks like we're actually not going anywhere today no sir no sir we are actually rubbing so about an inch there and an inch on the bumper here we just got to trim up that corner and what about that you see where it's scrubbed we're probably gonna have to trim trim some up make it a little yeah may look a little funky I don't think you'll be able to notice like right away you know but it has to be done there's no other way yeah usually I think you're supposed to run thirty fives but we wanted to really do 37 37 just looks so much about I don't want to get it too low profile you know I want that I want some meat on there so you can you know haul stuff and write and go through some dirt if you have to you know what I mean cuz we're always at properties and stuff like that exactly so we're definitely also gonna need a drop-down hitch though for sure I think yes oh nice I figure out how to adjust these shocks and we still haven't adjusted our traction bars too you know there's a way to soften it soften them up and stuff like that but main thing is the suspension up here see what the honestly just got to drive it down the road yeah really so I guess we're just gonna send it without without any alignment and then tomorrow morning we'll hit the alignment machine early and we'll take care of the alignment so let's go ahead trim this up and then we'll go from there [Music] all right finally we got it trimmed up dude let's do let's do this dude we had to trim up a little bit of the rear fender flare and also the front bumper at a good angle but I think we are gonna get a new front bumper custom bumper here soon so not too worried about how it looks now I think although it doesn't look too bad yeah it looks pretty good so go ahead crank her son looks so good especially when that Sun hits them wheels looks good looks like it's clearing perfectly easy does it sketchy I know alright no alignment but how's it going I mean you're going 33 miles an hour oh pretty good no problem so far alright so we've made it to the gas station man this thing is smooth with no alignment actually drives really straight steering wheels off straight everything drives really good I'm surprised but we do definitely still need alignment just to make sure everything's 100% so we don't wear the tire tread off this act but dude it drives like it already has a lineman I know right there's a putting some fuel in it cuz we're probably gonna go for some more driving probably get some meat I haven't eaten all day dude trying to get this lift done do this sucker is drinking you got a big tank I mean already 25 gallons 25 gallons but look look at the price of our fire our diesel it's not that expensive 279 I wonder what you guys have around you wherever you guys live yes is the cheapest diesel I've seen so far I don't know maybe other places have a cheaper let us know in the comments down below alright I guess we are back the truck drives absolutely amazing but we're gonna catch you guys tomorrow at alignment machine [Music] all righty guys so we just left the alignment shop and you wouldn't believe it that it actually was already aligned there was no adjustment even needed yeah but as soon as he calibrated the truck to the computer everything was in the green usually cars are in the red there's like depending on how bad it's off it's in the green or the red so everything was in the green I mean I can see why because we did you drop the suspension steering wheel standing sitting perfectly straight I mean this thing drives smooth you just let go drive all day long down this road that's crazy man so that's an awesome thing actually because we're actually about to hit the road do a little two hour road trip with this truck and the looser suspension we're gonna put this thing to the test I'm gonna get super smooth so far the fastest we went was 70 and it was just like a bullet nothing wrong beautiful beautiful drives absolutely better than stock dude I gotta say even smoother than stock so we're super happy with the lift kit so far all right so we are back and that is probably gonna be a wrap for today's video but we are super happy with our setup huge shout out to BDS
