Pyra & Mythra in Smash :)

this is a bad addition to smash is what i would say if i wanted to be wrong smash has like way too many characters and i was at the point where i just didn't care who they added i thought they either added every character i wanted or de-confirmed every character i wanted i was living in a very comfy spot and they probably added my most wanted character anyways usually when a smash character is revealed i watch the trailer i go wow that's crazy and then i don't think about it until the character comes out but i have re-watched this trailer multiple times and i am just so goddamn happy about this i am such a huge xenoblade fanatic and i love these two sword girls so much it's a me sword fighter outfit based on rex from xenoblade chronicles 2. we decided which fighters to include when we started planning so we couldn't add characters from titles like xenoblade chronicles 2. whenever they made wrecks on me costume i was just convinced we weren't getting any xenoblade 2 reps and i i accepted it i was okay sakurai said he wanted rex but then they finalized the roster before xenoblade 2 came out same thing happened with arms and persona 5. but then when joker was announced for dlc i jokingly said what if maybe no maybe but then when min min was announced i said am i insane for thinking that pyra and mithra might still come in smash what's really funny is if you actually go back to my 2018 video over characters i want i predicted this perfectly so xenoblade 1 featured an ensemble of characters but the thing is xenoblade 2 features a very similar size of characters and if i had to pick one i don't really want rex in the game just imagine like pokemon trainer in brawl and you could swap between them via downbeat or something like that because i know sakurai said he doesn't like samus and denzel's who samus or zelda and then sheik but this would be a pretty appropriate way to swap between the two you aren't really changing the character but just the move sets at hand i would love to have pyro or mithra in the game but it just seems so difficult to make that happen because rex is the main character of the game and a character in smash has never solo represented their series without being the main character rex pyrah and mithra from xenoblade 2. i don't know if i'm ignorant to assume that the dlc wasn't decided at the same time as the final roster but i'm at least holding to the last strand i have to put characters from one of my favorite games in smash xenoblade 2. oh wait what xenoblade two i thought they were done with that unless this is smash is it xenoblade two again uh xenoblade two but the three dlc smash [Music] sequel to xenoblade two xenoblade two two i didn't realize we were getting more xenoblade two yo i couldn't tell you because i got an invitation just pyro just pyra yo do we got sword while i feel in smash yeah let's go normies oh my gosh yes yes yes this is the character i wanted ah yes i cannot believe this is the character i wanted i gave her hope so long ago rex was a me costume why didn't we why didn't we know does she turn into mithra talk about a tight spot yep here it is form shift form shifts which turn into the sword no she turns into blonde sword waifu now i have no clue who they are but they're anime so i'm cool with it close huh [Applause] [Music] yes oh my god i oh my god i finally have a mane in this god forsaken game dude this is exactly what i wanted from pyromithra oh it's like i put like a moose set prediction in like years and years ago oh my god i'm so happy oh my god i'm sorry good to see you two again oh my god i'm so happy i'm so [ __ ] happy this is like the two characters i really wanted for like a pyromithra and joker jesus oh i can't believe i got what i wanted again and if you want to look at tier lists when i get what i want in the game they get what they want in the game the last two characters i pushed for this hard were joker and bayonetta in smash 4 and uh oh i'm sorry oh my god i'm so happy so what is the point of this video nothing i am just here to gush you are just going to listen to me talk about sword girls at this point i'm pretty convinced smash can't put any more characters that will excite me i feel like they've kind of checked all the boxes i absolutely love stance change characters i think pokemon trainer is incredibly interesting and to see that implemented on a character i love excites me to no end i don't really know who i made in smash right now i just kind of rotate between five characters every now and then but it is pyramidra time for me 100 i didn't even think i was gonna make this video i'm just i just want to talk about it i'm just excited and all my friends are done listening to me so alpharad are you going to start competing [ __ ] no i just want to go into camera mode and take cute screenshots that's it that's all i want to do again i did not care what character got in smash i just wanted a cool move set and i got it the first time i ever really felt like i fell in love with the smash character was probably lynn in project m which never actually came out the reason i liked her so much was because she was the perfect mesh of everything i liked in characters she was fast she had a sword and she had a projectile you might also say that sounds like a top tier and it's funny maybe i just like good characters well most of the time at least if you go back and watch my prediction i just got so many things right i wanted pyro and mithra to have the same normals and different specials and that's what happened i wanted mithra to be a little faster empire to be a little stronger and that's what happened i don't want to say nintendo watch my video but someone did this is kind of like what sheik and zelda were trying to be in melee except it works of course these two characters are much more similar but they transform much faster and it looks like they both work melee zelda did a lot of things and work was not one of them what i loved about joker and arsene was just that the move set changed not by much but enough where your mindset changes with that character and i love that kind of mentality and i did it in this game i already have jokes for this video i'm just so happy did you want this character in the game maybe a majority of you probably not but me i am taking this in stride i am just so happy i think i realize by the 20th time re-watching the trailer i had to make this video i am just so excited to play mithra casually off camera and to make a banger pyromithra video when the time comes because you know me i always make videos over the dlc characters and i never miss no one ever gets forgotten nope [Music] nope i will talk about the stage a little bit because i it's it's a bit disappointing i feel like with mementos they kind of had the right idea it's a stage inspired by persona and it's like it's unique but then i feel like with a majority of the stages after that all they do is just have stationary stage moving background and just go hey look that's a reference don't you like references look at this reference and i'll be honest i'm tired of references i think the stage is fine i just don't like it coupled with all of these other stages with ps2 models in the background and for all you xenoblade fans out there yeah i too am surprised that the final smash is not a spoiler so with two fighters remaining you might be asking me who is left and i'll be honest say i don't know i haven't known for a while it's funny probably my most wanted character was the last one i saw coming so with two fighters remaining these are all safe bets i'm not going to go into detail on any of these i just think all of these have a pretty likely chance but given how smash works you might get some unlikely things instead but one thing i do feel pretty confident in is a new pokemon rep i don't really know if anyone is begging for another pokemon rap says the guy who was begging for a fire emblem rap god but i think we're gonna get one pokemon is going pretty hard with their anniversary stuff and i don't know i just feel like it's gonna happen i think there's a trend in dlc when they learn how to do something and then just keep doing it joker had our sin meter hero had manometer banjo that is this still counts that's a wonder wing meter terry had an inverted meter but that's still he still had some kind of meter you know my point is they figure out how to do something and then they just keep doing it which is fine but given that they just made a stance change character i feel like they're just going to do that again i think we're going to see a new pokemon trainer i'm going to assume gen 8 but i wouldn't be surprised if they do gin for trainer if they do the reaming i don't think they i don't know i don't know what they're going to do if they had to add a gen gen8 pokemon i want kub foo i haven't made a sephiroth video yet so yeah wow i am excited for pyra and mithra i cannot stop looking at this trailer i cannot stop looking at the render i am just excited and i didn't know that smash could evoke this in me anymore i thought he was done the trailers would always excite me but i did that that never lingered you know the shock factor wore off pretty fast but i am just i am just so happy i love xenoblade i love xenoblade 2 i love smash bros and i think mithra is better [Music] you
