Overnight Catch and Cook Canoe Camp with My Dogs

[Music] [Music] well hello ladies and gentlemen I am out with Mateus tankers and I am in the canoe leaning very hard because we've got a heavy little oh we were gonna spend the night out here and hopefully redeem ourselves a little bit hrubes he's leaning up in me so we're having a little bit of issues today first and foremost the water level is extremely low I've already been here once this summer and I was able to this cruise right in now that looks like I can already see two beaver dams that were below the water Oh actually you know what looks like there's some breaks in them but anyways water levels extremely low so it's gonna be a little bit process getting in here secondly okay secondly I I got a late start it wasn't really planning on going today I was actually planning on going tomorrow because today is supposed to be insanely hot which it is and I'm dripping sweat and I'm sorry rooks yeah it's insanely hot and I was supposed to drop right off this is like the only hot day the whole week but funk needed rubes to be babysat I was like hey well let's go camping you know if you want me to take them on over later I love taking the roofs so that's what we're doing change up my plans to bring the roots along so anyways I don't even know what I was just saying well especially a threat but I'm supposed to go tomorrow cos cooler today I'm dripping sweat so we're probably all going swimming Ruger sit sit down it's okay sit that booty right down good boy you stay there oh my gosh I'm dripping sweat oh and there's one other thing that happened that's just making today just parts waterfall that is I forgot my camera now I know you're just saying oh you're recording right now what the heck well not well yes this is the I'm using right now the dog harness and the dog camera this is the the dog cam that you're seeing right now I forgot my camera where I can take all the different shots and get close to the water and my main GoPro but I always use so I don't have my attachments to take any other shots other than the one you're seeing right now so we're not gonna be able to get Monty in the background he's back there but you're gonna be pretty much looking at me like this we're looking forward while I'm in the boat it was old I was just so excited to get out today I was kind of moving in quick rush ish sort of maybe and I just I don't know how I did it I loved it oh man we are heavy we are heavy right now you're a heavy load but yeah I forgot my GoPro so we've got the backup GoPro which I was when I got here and I was unlovely critically where's my GoPro I was a little disappointed that's okay there's no way I was gonna be able to go home and get it that's way too far it'd be dark by the time I got home so we're maybe not but yeah either way we're gonna make do it's gonna be just fine for rubes simmer down we're moving slow anywho we're still gonna have a grand old time hopefully we're gonna catch some fish because you know we tried a couple catch and cook this summer the first one we've talked out roofs and we we're stuck eating some cabbage and the second one we try it was actually a kitchen cook I don't know if my voice is ever squeaked like that ever that was bad let's replay that one yeah there's a voice squeaks that's why it's a kitchen cook but we're gonna try to redeem ourselves we're gonna make a delicious one tonight it doesn't even matter if I don't catch fish it's still gonna be a delicious snack didn't I didn't just bring myself back about the backup meals today anyways we've got two ways to paddle let's go it's gonna get pretty foul out here and I'm probably gonna have to get up and drag the boat through work through some stuff and then we're just gonna get there we're gonna set up camper and go swimmin and then we're gonna fish for a while at least have a couple hours to fish before dark and yeah let's get to it you know I guess this uh this camera angle here ain't so bad you know you could just be stuck staring at my face the whole time or you can you know have rubes their roofs you just stare at his face the whole time rather than just me yep but we missed out on the Monty back here there's nothing we can do about it I have no other way of rearranging the camera I got this dog harness strapped around my backpack I do got attachments for recording from my head the little head GoPro attached we're probably going to use that or efficient the rad just stuck at this angle okay well it's getting shallow now I'll have to get out here soon this is magic but what do you wait so much that's why this is hard all right go ahead Rouge get out seems like all the beaver dams that are normally holding water here all like just torn up in the part where the waters flowing like somebody came through and ripped out the dam is a little bit which would really make me upset if that's they did I don't know if beavers do that and fall cuz it's definitely getting full time but there's no way that just naturally happened like that because if this was definitely at least back there was two feet higher minimum everything's low is just so slow-moving Oh what do you think roofs bruised I said I gotta catch some fish for these boys too otherwise they just get dog food and pumpkin I'm really sad but I can't change angles it's just this ankle right Lucas oh there's one more thing I was gonna say you might have already noticed it by now but this camera has hyper smooth because the newer GoPro and I actually don't like it I mean it's nice for the dogs when they're running around it you need it for the dogs but I don't like it in the canoe it looks unnatural to me I like the little bit of natural shake our roots sit down sit down you're doing so good sit that booty down Conn yeah whatever anyways yeah so this one might actually look different altogether we'll see how it looks but I think with all the fishing we're gonna do I'm just gonna use the head mount the whole time the bruise is gonna be sitting up front I went up the backpack to set this on so anyways we're getting the camp's done and we'll set up what do you think Monty you be a good boy do you want to go for the dog park you want to treat at the dog park it's got a free hand I don't even have a good handle I feel like it's so weird come on come on nice guess what else I forgot the tripod for the DSLR it's sitting on the tree right now just kidding I'm just kidding it's on the tripod right now this warm is very warm affray here this'll work that's a little too close to the fire right yeah some of you may already recognize a spot this is a spot where I haven't done a kitchen cook before I have camped here I like this spot this is where I actually pierced my foot from beaver sticks our beaver stick it was like a they chewed off a stick and it was sticking out of the soft ground like that much or maybe a little less but when I step on the ground sponge like Pierce ran my foot it did not feel good all that breeze feels good jumping in the water is gonna feel good oh okay what are you doing what are you doing [Music] okay so even though I don't I don't we've got a late start and I don't have all the time in the world because the Sun sets earlier now I'm not gonna rush because I think rushing is the key to failure I rushed too much I'm gonna I'm not gonna catch anything if I just take my time I don't worry about it you know I think I'm gonna catch the biggest bass in the lake some nice jumbo gills where you have five jumbo gills a nice bass and we're gonna just feast that's what's gonna happen in other news recently I have went skydiving I had mentioned this before but I actually went and I did it and here's some footage from that yeah peer pressure from that guy [Music] oh yeah [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] great job buddy that was pretty crazy yeah I see we went last summer last summer is when we planned not doing this my brother peer pressured me into doing this he was just like I want to do it for my 30th birthday he really wanted to go and he and he like I was the person he asked and I was just like no and then he's just like please like brother come on do it with me I was like no and then he just think I need you to go with me come on you're the only person is gonna go I said no and then he kept pressuring me and I was like fine and of course what I did the worst thing imaginable looked into it looked although bad statistics which it you know it's dangerous but when you're looking for dangerous like outcomes and in bad you know scenarios you're gonna find them so I was finding worst-case scenarios and you know what can go wrong I was looking for all the bad stuff that's was fine and and of course that doesn't make me feel better and then you get there and they basically you basically sign away all your rights they mentioned like 20 times you could die from this you could die from this just like no you're jumping out of an airplane you could die but yeah then it got canceled last year and I was really nervous last year but this year I wasn't so scared at all you know like there's no record of accidents really happen at the place we're going and I just wasn't that worried about it and it was actually a lot of fun I didn't even feel nervous jumping out of the plane and if any of you are out there on the fence about trying it because you know the dangers of it I think the chances of like something going wrong are so small like it's real things really gotta not work out for it to go wrong but it was a lot of fun I don't know if I'll do it again I think I'm doing a one-and-done kind of deal but it was pretty awesome all right let's get this oh no I'm not even multitasking what am I doing with my life or my twin boys I'm losing it forget my camera not multitasking least the mosquitos are still out wouldn't know what to do if I wasn't getting eaten alive by mosquitoes I thought you know middle of September they'd be raining there for a minute nice little intense little short rain there's a big dark cloud there rolled through and then now it's looking like blue skies and just bubbly clouds here and there so I've got the little dog harness there strapped wrapped around the pole so I'm gonna switch between this view and the head thing really quickly I just wanted to say I finally take it your guys advice and I'm gonna different level but I'm trying out a baitcaster and I've got ten crown braid with a fluorocarbon eight pound test leader on a baitcaster rod and I have that I got this forty percent off good deal on it it's a nice rod and reel combo I was messing around my backyard and they cast gonna catch a can cast just fine you know I was thinking about making the switch for a while now trying these out at night we're always worrying about the bird nesting and I tried my buddies out now royal and I screwed up a few times but I didn't really want to give it my all until I got my own and then I did and it was just fine so that's we're gonna be using with a little eighth ounce jig head but now we're gonna take some casts so we're gonna put this GoPro on my head here since we don't got the other mounts and do some casting hopefully catch some fish good boy all right we were gonna blow around a little bit here let's just go ahead and take some casts let's give this a shot oh that was just a great cast right off the bat [Music] it's okay ruse [Music] definitely still got some getting used to casting this thing but it goes farther especially when you're with the wind I'm gonna need lots of practice still but it's definitely nicer there we go there's there's a rat's nest yo it's gonna take some practice [Music] we are gonna blow around and I might try a different lure in this wind I'm gonna have to go to the other side the wind is just blowing too hard over here I want to struggle through Gert stop it it's okay it's okay you're fine yeah this is a little bit windy for this side I want to cast all on these lily pads but it's very very windy well we do got a little break here all right we're casting I should probably just go straight to the other side stay seated mister [Music] fishing so I don't even know how this is gonna pick it up but we're gonna try for some gills I did hear something surfaced right here so we're gonna try this light little lure for a little bit but we're definitely a fish for fun now and try to get some gills all right Oh something there is a girl right there as I cast it I saw its surface okay actually we're just gonna we're going straight to the other side so we don't the battle wind that's what we're going now that we've got this thing let's just relax over there I actually see gills kicking up ball in here [Music] they're everywhere in here I don't know if they're gonna bite this or not but I can see them I keep kicking them up okay drama queen what do you want what would you like I know you'd like to run around you'd like to fetch meat all right we can come back over here when the wind dies down I'm indecisive when I'm seeing these fish jump and stuff the fishing should be good straight over there though by the where the winds not crazy all right the final decision we're making it all the way over there I swear indecisiveness strikes again every time the wind comes down I hear these little gills draw jumpend Lucas you are so dramatic I know he just wants to go run around more and I don't blame him but he will learn I'm just gonna have to do my best to ignore him his cries though he makes me feel bad I just need to take a few cash for bass before going to the other side for funsies what was that rubes did you say something oh yeah what what happened all right I really mean it this time we're going to the other side second final true answer for the roofs for the roofs maybe he'll chill out if we get out of the breeze maybe maybe not I don't know I don't think so you guys gonna get all your your Ruger Knut I'm in eater curse that's why rogues whenever I use a steel eater I know it doesn't really matter but just seem to have less luck so I don't put one on and every once in a while you lose your line go a big ol pike it's probably not even big it didn't feel that big I really prefer the gills that can swallow a quarter ounce jig head here it's ok rooks sit down sit oh that was a nibble all right all right let's go for some Gila cheer we cast it for some bass we lost our line to a pike oh it's still breezy over here Jace chartreuse on chartreuse shouldn't really matter it's more about I think just with them being there but maybe maybe they're picky today and this is a six sixteenth ounce joke rather than a thirty tooth all right that's everything going in here come on now want a couple nice gills this looks promising ooh there's definitely a nibble I can see it there's no way it's big though we're gonna go try it a little bit shallower just for a minute here and then if we don't have any nibbles or doesn't seem like anything's you know working out for these gills we're just gonna go for bass and have fun and go with our one fish cuz I don't want to dink around right now we've got like I know we've got like 30 ish minutes of light left and I'm not having any luck for these guys they were seamen there was definitely some good-size one on the other side but [Music] I'd rather just a you know I don't know I was all playing and I was all hopeful I was like I'm gonna you know have my camera here and then as I cast I'm gonna swap to the I'm gonna have both GoPros going I was gonna swap to the shot of like the head camera Oh Bevers but just sitting on the camera and then I was gonna you know switch back and then if it kind of faces and snap back I was gonna do also I was gonna try new things in preparation for my trip coming up because it is coming up soon here this video should actually be released on the dam leaving if everything goes which is this Sunday I should be leaving and then I was gonna get two I still just it takes a long time I want to edit up that eight-day trip I didn't spring on to a condensed version and that will eventually happen and I really wanted to get it done before this trip but it's just not gonna happen before this trip and I was actually gonna release it on one of these Sundays here but it's gonna take me like two full days to edit that maybe even longer and then producing and uploading it to take even longer and I just don't got the time right now the time a whole week I just just at least one nice pan fishing come on we want to pig out tonight or a pig home well there's one there we go teeny little guy now if this were the only thing I caught today I probably would have kept him and ate him but he is way too small to want to be another addition just need a nice one this one seems okay that one is no this one is just just big enough that'll work that'll be that's some more meat all right we're throwing this guy on the stringer we've got three hungry dudes here so that is gonna do just fine that's nice you know I would definitely take a few more but hey every fish now is just bonus look just a few more on the gonna get out here get back to the DSLR head back to camp or pretty much where we swam it right now we are where we swam it all right go ahead roofs let the rig's out who let the rubes out I did the birch bark just hanging in a tree pretty wet out but this would be a little bit drier okay I'm just collecting some firewood right now everything is wet so it must have rained pretty good I mean it did rain when I was here but must have rained before it earlier taking it all down but the best wood for this I think we're gonna process up tonight but stuff that's like dead and standing like this like this is just a branch that's leaning so this will be a little bit drier and it should have a nice dry Center so we're gonna bring this back to camp we'll get a few more processor out these this is just a pie and this will have this will be waged in the process just broken up this this will definitely be dry and all these sticks even if they're wet and there's this tiny felt light from the fire of the birch bark so this is perfect okay let's process up a little firewood eight so the mosquitoes are just absolutely horrendous right now I mean I had I definitely had to coat myself in some deep they are bad but it's been moist so I'm sure they just all hatched and whatnot I'll just pick this all up afterwards for canoe camping I love the full hatchet guys really I just pretty much use my like bushcraft knife Ruger get over here hey ruse Ruger he keeps hearing the bass and the other fish and just going attacking it what are you doing there's nuts so we'll just process up pretty much what we need to get the fire going and then I'm just gonna break you know we'll cut it up into larger chunks and burn it all in half because we just need to get the fire started and then the fire will do the work you know sometimes if like when when I'm winter camp but I like to have you no longer fires you know and then I like the warmth of the fire as well for this this is just a cooking fire essentially enjoyment and cooking this will be good to process no this will get the fire going good we've got sticks here [Music] this pine just cut like a dream there we go that's that's what we want it's definitely not so pretty much dry all the way through that'll be our process pile burl at this that seems a little soaked down there we'll start right here this is the hard wood oh yeah that is not the inside and muggers hair doesn't dry out on the outside it doesn't really dry on the inside either but he dries out a lot faster overall you being such a good boy you want to get down you little bouncy bunny all right yeah anyways I'm just letting this here burn down I got on my wet logs piled on where just build a nice coal bed because we want to have a nice fire for cooking tonight the moon seems to be out yeah you guys want to stick or something geez Roose you shouldn't you shouldn't whine so much it's just not cool bro boom yeah the gills are the the mosquitoes are swarming man even like I was in the smoke they're swarming I got DEET sprayed all over me they're swarming their relentless right now they're freshly freshly hatched bring that stick here boys yeah good boy which there's a little I think there's a little chance tonight of rain but I think we'll risk it because what's that what you see a mosquito or something it was a high of 70 today which is just it was just way too hot it was disgusting I was sweating rooms and to go swimming and you swim it who's there okay okay so I think we're gonna start preparing dinner here cuz Monte is just he's being a little footrest cause he's looking for snacks so war preparing for dinner is a largemouth bass and bluegill fettuccine alfredo oh yeah I've made this one multiple times this is one of my favorite dishes to make from scratch it's so good I love making I haven't made a pasta I don't think over a campfire in like summertime I don't know ever I know I made the seafood one in that was fall I was more fall I guess was close to this time maybe it was around this time it could have been either way it's been a long time since I made a delicious pasta meal over the fire and this one's gonna be delicious now I made I usually make it with chicken I make chicken alfredo and then I made the the salmon the coho salmon Lake Superior coho salmon that I caught the day before this time I'm using fish that I catch the day of and it's just it's so good with fish it doesn't matter the protein as long as you prepare it right it's gonna be good I think we're gonna roast this one up with low we're gonna cook it up in some butter with some thyme and some rosemary fresh mmm it's gonna be so good but anyways I don't got a lot to prepare all I'm gonna do is pretty much kind of garlic I think the parsley and that's it then we just start cooking so let's just cut up those couple things and get to cooking all right boys yeah yeah okay let's do it watch out the ruckus get back get back back up back up back up all right so we don't got a ton of repair this one's more about the cooking process than it is the preparing it's actually pretty simple we've got some fresh parsley here so we were just gonna rough chop we're not gonna dice this up we want to be kind of just rough chopped that'll be good enough I don't really measure when I'm using fresh herbs especially parsley parse is not a strong flavor so I just use a lot of it I like the flavor of it all right that's rough enough we're gonna set that off to the side and that smells so good and the other thing we've got to prepare is some garlic this does have to get chopped up decently this up garlic mm-hmm yeah some meals that I make on this channel here they're just too good to not make again and you know pasta you'll one thing you'll notice as I love pasta dishes something about pasta I think that's just my favorite meal overall it's just pasta in general whether it's an alfredo or just a cream sauce or like a spaghetti or the riggies just creamy pasta is just I don't know eating creamy pasta out in the woods I don't know I mean I hold a definite favorites I know this is gonna be good I had to bring out a cooler for this one there's lots of stuff that needs to stay cool try chaplains a lot of garlic we have a nice flavor in this one they don't want this pine needle though you know what that's minced enough well this just actually one more for good measure okay now I'm gonna flap our fish get that me ready well portion that out quick and then it is cook time okay there is our Bobby and Gabe or Gilbert's we need to portion this up now this is just some beautiful fresh meat ere is a good portion here I think what we're gonna do is we're gonna give the two gills of the boys so they can't complain and then we're gonna give them sea give them that and we'll give them that now I can cook these up there's a nice two big filets they've got a nice pot of meat they're gonna have pumpkin mixed in that is plenty we don't want to give them diarrhea this is plenty for us and I brought a cooler out with some ice packs so if there's leftovers I'm taking them home so let's get cooking up here first things first we need water for boiling our noodles we're gonna get that heated up so when the time is ready we're gonna stir it over the flame well we want we want too many noodles to be cooked possible [Music] well the holes are going we're going to start things off with a little butter all right we're gonna add in the garlic and lemon zest and a little bit of parsley in there I pre I pre grated the lemon zest at home because it's just simpler around our fish pan we are gonna add in some fresh herbs we got some fresh rosemary and some fresh thyme [Music] [Music] alright now we're gonna add our fish to this pan that's our cooking let's press it with some salt and pepper to not too much salt about too little salt just the right amount of salt okay back for our Alfredo we are going to start making our roux and add in the flour all right now we're gonna add some milk and salt and pepper oh yeah that fish is so well we got a flint mess whoo it's coming together [Music] I'm gonna spritz a little fresh lemon over our fish a whole mess you'll be so good okay we need to we're gonna base this bath oh my gosh oh so delightful alright this is gonna come off the heat a little bit time for the cheese baby oh my gosh this looks so good oh yeah oh my gosh the dogs here the dogs there their doggie sludge is done that's gonna go off to the side here this not boiling we need to get this boiling sudden easy to get over the heat okay the fish is done that's gonna staff to the side and just stay warm this needs to be stirred more oh it's hot all right hmm oh my gosh okay time to add in the parsley okay this is gotta come off the heat now - okay and just slowly cook now I think this is ready okay time for the noodles to go in a little too easy rose bless okay that's okay it's gonna be worth it was a little bit [Applause] Oh Oh what's so hot we're close we are very close okay we're getting the dogs prepared brush I want to get back back up back up back up Monte oh I know I know you're you're excited for it okay pumpkin in there I switched to like this organic just pure pumpkin because I only need a heaping teaspoon to make Monte you want to eat us food which I like Monte you seem to be up in my face a little bit okay a little bit more water to theirs mix it up let it sit and then ours this is month you just you're up in my grill right now brah you got from the grill what do you want what's good for me oh we're getting there Monty I'm getting so excited all right we're gonna let this pumpkiny fishy deliciousness mix in and settle as we finish ours okay that's a full pot let's see here [Applause] [Music] okay these are done oh yeah okay oh that's sorry let's get this prepared they're gonna be so good I'm gonna drain this water into here cuz you need a little a little the water to finalize it okay okay let's do this okay okay what that's that mothers bad boy [Music] oh yeah Oh oh my gosh a little bit of the water oh my gosh now fewer things that right there is some gourmet made from scratch largemouth bass fettuccine alfredo freshly caught freshly made ready to be devoured let's do this boys look at that steaming pile of glory this is what redemptions all about you know look at that drilled you see that drill come off his face we ate cabbage we had a terrible voice crack but now we're here redemption of sweet Monty is drooling so much this is way too much for me to eat right now we're definitely going to be having leftovers are you boys ready you're such good boys feast oh let's just get a bite of noodles hmm bite a bass the bass is so good I squirted a little bit of fresh lemon right before I ate it and it just got it's just it's got a nice flavor does it have that it's got the thyme and the rosemary and when I take a chunk of it with how its kind of fried in the butter it's not just like that's got like a little bit of a bite I [Music] love alfredo there's no way I'm gonna finish all this said that before right Monty you know normally I worry about their little games where they beg not worrying today I know they got plenty of fish plenty of food had plenty of fun plenty of outdoors attention so I don't feel guilty at all I don't feel guilty no I don't know no I don't Wars a Skeeter I used to never cook deliciously canoe camping like gourmet meal like this and then I realized you just need to go somewhere where you don't have to go crazy fart and you can bring in a cooler and you can bring whatever you want still and that's a ticket that's the key bring out a cooler and then it doesn't matter you can make alfredo burgers mm-hmm you know rubes has not been back in the water maybe well his feet a couple of times but I caught him and he's been chilling out I think was ever since I flayed up the fish he's been pretty relaxed don't know these two doc but eight over three quarters even though stomachs full water about I'm like a motor walrus right below water bum I don't want to get up Ruger give me a water bottle yeah yeah get it roots get the water about the water nothing stick no water ball I'll give I'll give anybody oh no don't drop us do that what did you see I drop the stick in my food oh I'll get a drink later Oh looks a little bit full my stomach's telling me no but my mouth my mouth is telling me yes I think I just want to keep tasting it oh okay so anyways I'm gonna sit here Lilla Firebird down let my stomach settle for a minute and be uncomfortable but I'm not gonna move there was owl kind of would take one but by anyways okay focus I'm gonna put that in the cooler thingy let this burn down clean up all my crap and we're gonna get ready for bed yeah we're gonna Monte Hey turn on my stick bro are you doing don't you like the way it feels in your teeth or something yes I'm gonna throw it Hey rubes doesn't appreciate you chewing on that stick hey fetch it is this a flute MIT this is how you pick up all the ladies Monty gonna be handsome yeah I need you you wouldn't show so much wouldn't be so bad goodbye come on don't go ahead Monty all right everybody just calm down Greeks Monty lay down Oh Monty just got super comfy rugs I'll figure it out anyways there's like a million mosquitoes in here the screens open more pouring in so I'm going to take my headlamp shine them out we're up to kill them off anyways I'm fall I'm ready for bed so I will catch you guys in the morning Monty that guy was laying right here pushing me over and he slept right in the middle of sleeping pad so rooks had to sleep over on the side if you could really used to bad she was boarding I kind of push him on sit down at one point because he was just taking over rooks you ready to go outside for me to go outside to I think he is chaotic in here whoa everybody's good up in the towel oh geez anyways these guys are chaotic in here what do you think about this Monte you okay I'll put some clothes on and we're gonna get up we're out you packed up your [ __ ] of coffee yeah sturdy off right blowing on the side where I was getting blown around the sanctions a calm side today it's pretty cool out today I think it's like feels like it's like 50 which is nice I like that a lot hmm oh yeah that black gold roofs whoo ha ha my porridge is too hot we think Monty so most of the way packed up most of the way that's a couple things lying around you can see some of the colors are starting to come in ball is on its way will be it hey Monty don't you eat grass you stop that you stop that hmm Oh ma'am I feel poop coming on I'm meant to stop eating breakfast and poof feel like it's a sip of coffee I make it real strong hmm yep okay well breakfast is on timeout much better mmm my porridge is too cold oh and I really want to fish right now Ruger would you allow me to fish no it'd be too hard with all our stuff I didn't want it dry that's one thing what's unfortunate with having a Ruger along is the boat is so heavy I can't go over big I'm not going to go over big water with rubes in there like this so this is just like when he comes along it's a rare occurrence we get a special guest you know so we take it easy we just get into camp we have to unload and then we can go fish it we can't fish with them in the boat right Bruce do it lunging are you striking a pose we're gonna strike a pose right here who's there Orson where's Eric's Bruce who's there who's that works well Rouge was there what's it he doesn't believe me I got it I got to stop doing that for a while like like that mmm oh we're gonna finish up my oatmeal here I'm gonna finish up my own a Alma coffee we're gonna finish packing up and then we're gonna get in the boat heading back just a couple morning casts pray you're just just right here [Music] just a couple morning cats right here just just right here [Music] well that was a good one [Music] [Music] No hey get back here dang it I almost kept them dry [Music] oh boy we've got swans right in our path and we're season Oh God this'll be interesting burger please don't freak out when this remote when they fly away good boy it's okay roots it's okay sorry swans carry swans we should have stopped looking at me I think Ruger needs a big extended trip because like he is acting so much better in the boat this morning than he was yesterday it's cuz like he's used to it again he forgets and then he gets used to it now he's just like enjoying the ride looking around standing a little but he wants to grab sticks as we go by him and lily pads and you know he's still kind of distracted a little bit but he's doing much better he's not really crying he only cried right there near the swans [Music] okie Dokes so we've just got some more paddling to do and you know cameras stuck where it's stuck you just see rooks face so nothing's gonna change much I don't know how much of the sides you can see you can probably see okay there's probably just a big picture of this guy's face though right there this cute little just cute little munchkins face look at this guy look at this guy so yeah we're just gonna wrap this one up here had a delicious meal we finally redeemed ourselves from our kitchen cook I catch it cooked oh yeah so that was a good meal I've got some left over there in a nice piece of bass it should be just fine there's no ice ball - got cool last night it's on it's in a cooler with some ice packs that are probably melty but either way delicious meal pretty excited to get ready for my trip this week so hopefully I'm everything's going well and I'm there wilderness tripping away well yeah just a little
