today's show features one of the most unconventional guests i've interviewed in a long time we taped the following program last october and didn't know what to make of this man dr larry weinberg even though he's a little different his love story with a prison inmate certainly grabbed our attention watch the show and we'll tell you all about the unbelievable things that happened to the guests since we taped it seven months ago here's men in love with female quinn the news [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] some incredible love stories today our first unbelievable romance involves this man he's dr larry weinberg yes you heard me right he is a doctor dr weinberg and says that he is uh very eccentric in his ways and unconventional in his dress and he admits that he did fall in lust with a gorgeous woman who dazzled him with her movie star looks larry and his lover can't be together because his dream woman is behind bars where she is serving a 15-year sentence for theft now sonia whitlow joins us via satellite from her prison in alabama and larry's working overtime to get her release so that he can marry her larry isn't the only man in love with a female criminal later we're going to meet the locked up women who captured the hearts of these two men danny is so smitten that he once hid his fugitive wife after she broke out of jail we're going to meet his mom who says her son is just a fool in love and 60 year old bill tells why he's planning to marry a 28 year old convicted thief in just a few weeks but first you met howe larry when i say a pretty woman i don't care where they are when you wish upon a star makes no difference when you are and if this girl was in czechoslovakia or poland in russia i'd run after her and the bottom line is she's getting out in a week she's going to a halfway house in birmingham alabama over the magic city and we're going to probably go and get married we're going to the chaplain we're going to get married and i just wanted to tell you oprah that yes originally she could have stayed in the penitentiary system for about nine years but i went up to the warden i went up to the parole board in birmingham alabama i went to the parole board of montgomery alabama and because this woman is so beautiful and so intelligent because i'm going to marry her and because she's going to live forever like everybody else in this world we're going to the utmost highest points of the heavens and so the parole board says this girl is coming out and i love her and she loves me and that's the way it's going to be thank you dr weinberg okay now yeah cause we we have verified that he is indeed he did bring his credentials so he is indeed a doctor now sonia what do you think of the the good doctor here well i love him you love him yes okay how long have you known him excuse me how long have you known him six months now six months six months now and so how did you meet sonia well i would say hypnotis she had a smoking problem and i hypnotized her in 22 minutes her smoking problem was unequivocally cured she came to the hypnosis institute in birmingham alabama you don't smoke anymore do you sonja good well there's a testimonial i don't mean to break or anything okay she stopped smoking in 22 minutes okay and she she became a born-again christian she's the most innocent person in the world i'm not taking credit for it i'm giving it all to god and all your prayers and all the millions of people are watching throughout the world but to answer your question sonia it's love and that's my my answer to your question you've been preaching it ever since you've been on tv yeah i i i have but um i wasn't exactly talking about this uh because i'm not sure it is love for you or is it lust well it's love and lust i think you know the song love and marriage go together like a horse and carriage in our marriage when we get married uh it's gonna be like the horse you see flying with the wings uh i i love her i love her of course when you go to the prison you can't have sex with you with your girlfriend in the prison maybe in denmark and sweden but we love each other on the radio on the telephone and i love getting a lot of letters and i must say when you love a person in prison although i can go out and eat steak and lobster and caviar every night i have to take some of the burdens of the pain that she feels in prison and i stay home at night i don't go out with any other girls except maybe five or six during the week but i don't know i'm only kidding only her but the fact of the matter is i take on the ba the pains and the burdens that's what i call a feeling the suffering and the stress and the burden okay why are you in why are you in jail now why are you there sonia why are you there what are you in jail for now serving time for doing what okay this is my time coming back for um violation of parole not paying parole okay and what were you in there for before uh selling marijuana selling marijuana yes ma'am now how did you first meet him i heard you all first met at a hotel correct i that's where i hypnotized it at the uh twilight hotel it was all the hotel i hear i didn't say baptizer a mesmetizer i said hypnotizer and yes we had sex okay now you all know okay we had sex but it was the third date over believe me it was the third date um we only kissed on the first date we petted on the second day no no no no no the question is the question is looks like we're losing the satellite right here so you met did you was you was the original meeting about hypnosis or yeah she came in i had an uh a temporary office set up there and she had a smoking problem and i cured her i believe the fastest way to get to a person's problems is through the word of god i'm not a i consider myself a spiritual advisor and a guru i don't believe you should uh go in and have your heart taken out or your liver taken out believe you have a problem not only smoking and weight control and confidence and everything else sonia are you going to marry this man are you going to marry this man i love you son you're very much and one thing over i've only proposed marriage to sonia four times can i ask you one more time just for my ego sonja will you marry me when you get out yes larry thank you very much and when will you be getting out about in a week or so hopefully finally about a week or so and then you plan to build a life with this man ma'am you plan to build a life with him yes when we come back we're going to talk to this love struck husband who did who hid his fugitive wife after her daring escape from prison we'll be right back back in a moment [Applause] [Music] [Applause] i felt like i wanted to become the character i went into my bedroom and i started trying to find myself something that francesca would wear i poured myself a glass of cognac pretending it was brandy i guess it is brandy i ran the bath i filled it with bubbles and i drank the brandy in the tub and pretended i was francesca jones that's what i did it's my romantic fantasy the most incredible love story on tomorrow's oprah [Music] two men today who are in love with women uh criminals women who are behind bars um this is the warden of this prison where we're talking to these women the prisoners called up julia tutwalla prison for women and with trump alabama and uh this is warden shirley uh will loeb love miller thank you very much um and she was just saying that she doesn't sonia she doesn't know that you're getting out now this is the warden here she doesn't know what you're getting out and i just want to ask you this point blank and you know answer it if you will my understanding is that when you first met uh the doctor here that there was some kind of exchange of money uh going on and perhaps maybe there were some sexual favors for that exchange of money is that correct well then it wasn't the basic that was not based on that i told him that um i needed some financial assistance and uh he gave me 400 but it wasn't on those sexual style i'm sorry okay it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't so there wasn't any kind of solicitation going on here no okay [Music] the warden the wharton says she doesn't know anything about you getting out there what do you say about this and you've heard from larry before have you known uh larry has called me when sonia came back to prison sonja's been with me before in prison and when she came back to prison this time larry called me to ask about his future wife and talk to me and tell me how i should treat sonya while i had her in prison because she was a precious product that he was very concerned with and i reassured him that i would take proper care of sonya while she was there have you have you heard a lot from have you heard a lot from larry uh no he hasn't called me but i understand he's talked to my staff several times do you think larry's in love with her i really don't know about larry he said so i assume sonia that if you're going to marry him you're you've decided to clean up your act whatever that is and you're not going to be there anymore you're not going to be taking any more visits to the prison no ma'am i'm not okay i want you to meet danny uh who fell head over hills for linda who moved in with him after their very first date very first date it was a long day long date well during their marriage linda secretly struggled with a drug problem and danny was shocked when she was arrested and sent up the river he says now linda joins us also from prison where she's been sentenced to 15 years on drug related forgery charges also joining us is danny's disapproving mom who feels that her son's convict wife is a bad influence like the time she escaped from jail and convinced danny to hide her for over a year so uh i guess this isn't a mother's dream to have your son be married to somebody because you are you all married you are married yes we are okay that's not a mother's dream to have her son married to a woman in prison oh that's released by the least thing yeah okay but you are in love danny i've been in love with her for 11 years the meritor for 10 will be 10 years january 4th being married 10 years we've been living together for years so we've been together 11 years so when she was brought up on charges you weren't aware that there was any drugs involved uh i found out about it before she was arrested and you know i tried to get training before i put her in a rehab center and she asked me to come get her and i went guide her and took her out of it and that she didn't complete the program so how long are you in there linda ma'am how long are you in there for now how long yes how long i've got 20 years for escape so that means you're going to serve how much time i'll be out next year so that's why you all are going oh 20 years so 20 years means what really a year why are you out next year if you have 20 years you see they set you a parody according to your crime if you're a violent inmate and you cause trouble while you're here that makes your sentence you're gonna stay longer if you obey the rules and do as you're told then you're gonna get out a lot quicker okay so you've been obeying the rules yes ma'am and by the grace of god uh yes i do yeah and so have they told you that you're gonna get out in a year or are you up for parole in a year and you assume that you will be out i'm up for perot in a year and you assume that you're going to get out then yes now okay do you have children yes okay and where are your children i have a son 15 who is with my ex-mother-in-law and then danny has me and danny has i have two step-daughters one is in albertville alabama and the other one is in texas and so how do you feel about danny's undying love for you i'm thankful for it i know i give god thanks every day that i have another chance and i mean danny has been good to me and i owe him i mean i owe him my life this man he is he's just great what got you in prison linda drugs drugs taking them or selling them taking them as a drug abuser drug abuser being a drug abuser got you 20 years in jail no ma'am i got charged with forging prescriptions i got a 15 year sentence i came down here i did seven months i went home on surf i got charged with escape on sir and i came back with 20. so you were forging prescription drugs for yourself for yourself for myself and you knew nothing about it danny i knew nothing about the forging of the prescriptions now the only thing i really knowed about that when i found out that you know she was abusing drugs it was bad checks and things like that and i tried to pick up checks and pay the checks off and tried to get her get her help but you know it really didn't work out when did the drug problem start for you linda it started when i was 13 years old and in my first marriage i continued to do drugs for seven years when danny married i quit i didn't do any drugs for five years and i made the mistake of picking them up one day and here i am what do you think of your mother-in-law well i can understand why she's angry towards me why she don't like me i can understand it because of what i did to her mother but what'd you do to her mother what'd you do to her mother i wrote checks on her mother and i cashed a savings bond and i have went to her mother who is beta williams and she told me that she has forgiven me she wrote my judge a letter while she was still able to do so and i just pray that uh god will make find it somewhere to make peace between me and her i really do between you and your mother-in-law do you think you'll be able to make peace with her no why not because she wrote all those checks on my mother and my loser home and everything she ever had but she just said your own mother has forgiven her well she don't even know what she's doing she'd be 90 year old in january she don't know what you're doing now she did then not much well she knows nothing better she was 83 then when she wrote the letter but she wrote a letter to them because they forced her to write a letter she was scared linda lyndon she didn't do this she would choke her death or she was killer and she would hang out if you're going to tell the truth god listen listen do you think linda is dangerous yes dangerous you think so do you danny i don't you don't no i don't just two days two days after we taped the show sonia was released on parole larry was turn away from the prison but that's not the end of the story you know we all are aware that we've seen women who have been in love with men in prison today we've reversed the table here we have men who are in love with women who are behind bars my next guest says you're never too old to find love bill thomas is 60 and uh has some big plans to marry tammy jones she's a 28 year old convict who has been behind bars now for almost six years on a forgery conviction tammy's planning to go full steam ahead with their wedding plans when she's paroled in three weeks is that true oh yes ma'am um i should be getting released around november the 16th uh bill he has stood by me um and has took care of me for five and a half years and i do plan on marrying bill upon my relief and you're going to marry him yes ma'am do you love him yes i love him you really love him i really really love him bill you love her yes ma'am uh how long have you been in love with her oh five and a half years so it doesn't matter to you her past what she's in jail for and all that no ma'am does not why because you think she's a changed woman yes ma'am are you a changed woman uh yes ma'am uh i have changed uh it may have to have taken coming to prison to open my eyes to a lot of things but i have changed um and i don't feel i'll ever be back for prison you don't um no i'm by the grace of god i'm not going to come back so how how often have you had um contact with bill through letters or phone calls do you do you talk to him often oh i talk to bill every day uh sometimes two and three times a day bill has he's up here i've i can have a visit every other weekend bill is up here ever visiting day to see me um anything i need from bill he he's he's always been there for me and so do you think that maybe that if your feelings for him are based upon the fact that he has you know been there for you through these six years but maybe when you get out if you've been there for six years you might see things a little differently you don't think no uh the age difference doesn't bother you ma'am the y'all are the most polite criminals i ever talked to everybody's so darn polite i tell you if manners could have kept you all out of jail you never would have been there um i'm saying uh whether whether or not the age difference you're 28 and he's 60. does that bother you age is a number age is the number you know i've i'm not looking i don't love bill for no age you know like i said age is a number to me i i don't go by age so you're planning on getting married yeah also so all of you all of you all everybody there is going to get married except linda who's already married to you no we're going to get married again you're going to get married again [Music] upon her release we were gonna go get remarried and try and put the pies behind us start from that day only and start a new start all over you okay i'm gonna be nobody there well dr weinberg have you been married before uh as a matter of fact i was i was met about twenty uh uh two years ago and uh the woman that i was married to previously i would have to say is the most beautiful woman in the world with a toss-up between sonia whitlow and opal winfrey she must be something [Applause] [Music] i'm wondering though i'm going to talk to the warden here again shirley for these women to have somebody on the outside who really cares about them does that make a difference in the way they react when they're there have you found because i'm sure that there is a difference between the women who do feel that they have somebody and women who feel like there is no one there's a big difference when an inmate is incarcerated to have a significant other person whether it is a boyfriend a husband or if it's a father or a mother or sister or brother who's concerned about it makes all the difference in the world and what their conduct is while they're incarcerated so for you this is good this is good for me this is very good for me for them to have providers on the outside it makes these people easier to control while they're entire inside the institution well when we come back this audience a lot of these audience members here think that these women are using these men we're going to hear what they have to say coming up next [Music] uh just a few minutes uh we're going to meet a man who says that he was burned by one of the most notorious murderers of our time we're going to be meeting him momentarily but you wanted to say what just say do i have a question for the doctor um have you ever considered what was the woman's name sonya sawani have you ever considered him deciding swan you're not into being a criminal any longer well i'll tell you the first yes i have i have i have i think when you give up smoking that's the first step personally when you give up smoking that's the first step because if you take tars and nicotines and cyanides and carbon dioxide that's the first first first first step in becoming a criminal good you're prostituting your mind your body and your soul the first step to rehabilitation is give up smoking okay and the perfect product is right here on this picture the perfect woman seriously considering getting help for yourself okay leave it to the audience okay what you want to say yes ma'am go ahead uh my question is to sonia uh sonia what role does it play that he's a doctor and that he has money i mean yeah sonia did you hear that question she was saying uh one of our audience members wants to know whether or not the fact that the doctor has money and is a doctor if that has any effect on your love of you're loving him no i mean the money we don't believe you we don't believe you sonia we don't believe you because if he let's let's say he didn't have any money at all he was absolutely po not even poor paul let's say he was poe he was taught would you have the same feelings because i mean when you told us earlier that one of the six months ago when you first met him one of the things you uh appreciated about him was the fact that he could offer some financial assistance well that's what anyone i mean i mean love goes beyond money but you know um the basis of life our financial support you got to have a family you got to have money to eat you got to have money i mean what will i be with this out there for the sake of love which love has a great part in it but you got to have fun and support to take care of family okay so the fact that he does have money is that's attractive to you is it not no neutral it's the same yes ma'am well all three of the women or their gentlemen who have been staying behind them have all mentioned god and i was wondering what kind of counseling any of you are planning on getting you know at the time that the woman is released particularly any kind of christian counseling oh okay uh could i answer that because sonja is going to a halfway house in birmingham alabama and they call birmingham alabama uh magic city because of its tremendous population rate it's called the magic city not the city of angels the magic city the city of angels los angeles this is the windy city but to answer your question she is going to be working for me as a clinical hypnotherapist and she's going to specialize in sex therapy and i want everybody to come visit me so i can counsel all of you and teach you how to make life better help me help help me okay let me just say this tammy has something she wants to say the audience tammy what did you want to say to our audience tammy oh um uh maybe in your audience the people out there uh know these men are taking care of us and stand beside us and maybe it would be to them that we're using them because we're incarcerated but i feel as though we're just as good as anybody sitting out there in that audience and i would never use bill i know i don't have to use bill i have got a family that would take care of me that i could call upon i'm with bill because i love bill true enough bill has been good to me and he takes care of me but like i said i've got to well three children my mother are keeping two and my two sons how old are your children tammy how old are your children my children are six seven and eleven and um so the six-year-old the six-year-old you've been in prison six years yes he was five weeks old when i got locked up you know i think that's an interesting thing you said about you're just as good as anybody else in the audience because i just um left another prison not too long ago where i was uh interviewing betty broderick in prison and one of the things that fascinated me about the prison system and and seeing all of the women there is i thought these are just women who made uh got into trouble as as everybody makes mistakes in their lives and you get into trouble but you made different choices than some of the other people who are on the outside and i really do think that's really the only difference is that you made different life choices because yes i also think you're just as good you just make different life choices uh when we come back i want to meet a bitter man who says that falling in love with a convicted murderer was the biggest mistake of his life we'll be [Applause] back [Applause] you can be who you're going to be the spokesman for the role every okay this is everybody has this question so let's say everybody you all have the same question i bet you well prayer i'd like to know if the good old dr cycle was involved in drugs himself what i heard offer was something about psycho i saw the movie i'm going to give it 10. that's what i heard about cycle i'm going to give the movie a tan i'm going to give the birds a tan too you two have a lot in common common i mean you're you're there thank you thank you all have a criminal record i don't think so do you have a criminal record yourself i mean do you only date criminals no no i don't have any criminal record no okay okay now the question is this now let me just ask the question everybody's thinking those of you at home may not have seen this because i don't know what the director's shooting while i'm here talking but you seem to be a little hyper yes and we are and yes and we are just we're just wondering is it because you're nervous because you're yes you doctor yes i'm nervous i'm in love okay i'm in love what can i tell you when sonya is back with me i'm like this all day long okay that's it apologize i came across no you seem to be a okay so that's you're just a little nervous a little a little nervous okay yeah what you want to say i want to say this if they ever get married this will be the quickest divorce and will be put in the ganges book a record man you don't even look like a doctor you look like you perpetrator man i don't know what a doctor looks like but go ahead some say yes to beat me to the question over there i was wondering what you took before the show okay okay are you on any kind of medication you took the greatest food over at the la meridian hotel where hoper put me up on they had the greatest food over there the greatest courtesy i had a steak sandwich i had a chicken sandwich i have coffee i had a great breakfast courtesy of the oprah winfrey show and when i came here american airlines i had the greatest greatest flight and the greatest greatest food okay the only drug i ever tasted toothpaste that's the only one we just wanted to make sure we just wanted to make sure larry that you weren't like on any drugs or anything no no that's the only thing okay go ahead question it notice how complacent all three of the criminals were you're so hyper but when you're getting married you're excited usually when you're getting married nobody said yes 12 more days or about the wedding it's like yeah we're getting married nobody was excited the prisoner so you think they should be more excited well they're just complacent it seems like just an answer to getting out yeah i'm getting married okay what'd you want to say yes i want to know if the doctor of love up here has hypnotized her to think you look like tom selleck or something no no no i look like they're getting nasty now what do you i want a final word from ev from all the ladies in jail what'd you want to say sonia what'd you want to say final words that i love larry regardless where's the complex movie i'ma always love larry okay and linda what did you want to say i want to say that we all make mistakes in life i hit the bottom because i was abusing drugs i am not a violent person i've never had a charge of being violent i'm in an honor dorm down here because i am an outstanding inmate and the lord has forgave me for all of my sins and has given me another chance in life my mother-in-law may never forgive me but i love her with the love of god uh the lady that said that she didn't feel as though we were excited about getting married was we're in prison what can we do uh the men's on the outside i'm sure they can show their uh happiness a lot more than we can but i am very excited to be marrying this wonderful man i hope within the next three weeks and bill i just wanted to say i love you and thank you and uh hey i'll be home real real soon and you know look at bill turning three shades of red up there ahead this hour a full update on our prison love matches but earlier this week i spoke to one of the most famous female criminals in recent memory lorenzia bambi bimbanic was still in prison when i taped this show that you're seeing now last october and on that show i spoke to her bitter ex-boyfriend coming up we'll find out why he says he was blinded by love when he broke her out of jail [Music] says he has a warning for men in love with female criminals he is the ex-lover of a convicted murderer whose case captivated the nation take a look rincey bambi benbinic ex-playboy bunny turned milwaukee cop was convicted of killing the mistress of her wed husband in 1982 her scandalous crime recaptured the public's attention when she and her boyfriend masterminded her dramatic escape from prison in she has 1990 had a fair trial i believe that she's innocent she just didn't do it dominic gogogliado believed in bambi's innocence and bankrolled their desperate run across the border after months of hiding out in canada they were captured when a viewer recognized bambi as the famous fugitive on tv well nick was liado i knew i was going to mess it up nick is here and he spent a year in prison for his role in uh lori bennett's dramatic jailbreak and you now say what what have you learned from that experience well i uh i learned a lot of things but i would just like to take this opportunity right now uh to first of all apologize to the people that i hurt by my actions mostly for most my children um my parents how old were your children are your children at the time they were i've got twin daughters that were eleven i've got a nine he was a seven-year-old son at the time vincent and uh my stepson which is 20 right now uh-huh and um my actions have caused them a great deal of pain including my parents and all friends and relatives and uh you know i just needed to take this time and say i'm sorry to them for my healing process as well as theirs and so what were you just crazy in love i thought i was in love but listening to the first part of the show uh and looking back at it while i was i was in jail not prison um lust is probably a much better word because how did you meet bambi i was meeting i was visiting a friend that was incarcerated and you met her and fell in how do you then how because how do you fall in love behind with her behind bars the oprah you have to understand that at the time in 1989 the time of my life i was in a complete uh tailspin my my whole life was turned upside down i was going through a divorce with uh the woman you know you asked me about love um i believe i still love this woman to this day you know your wife my ex-wife ex-wife and um i was going through a divorce my best friend at work that i've known for 12 years was murdered and when i met laurencia i was in i was just in complete my whole life was in turmoil and i thought this is you know just a safe relationship pen paling and visiting and as platonic as you could get and i could never get hurt out of it or hurt anyone else but you never had a criminal record before this so how if you've never had a criminal record and you've been raised quote raised correctly do you end up helping her plan an escape and all that something in your mind had to say this is this is a little crazy being manipulated you you now feel that she manipulated you oh sure yeah do you think she loved you no well i i don't know you know i don't know how she could see this is a thing that i'm struggling with now to this day i was always told on every visit which was three times a week how these people could live with themselves doing incarcerating her for a crime that she hadn't committed how they could sleep at night and i did the ultimate i think to help this woman and after my sentencing i was dropped like a hot rock uh-huh after your sympathy so what contact have you had with her now absolutely none you feel she used you yes ma'am and when did you spill that after you were arrested and sentenced or after you escaped with her did you certainly then but you know i was i was feeling it you know it just goes a long way because when we were incarcerated in canada you know was let's stay together and you know we're let's make sure that our promise is always the same and and but weren't you guys on the run she was a fugitive you guys were on the run hiding out i mean listen her picture was everywhere the fbi is looking for her everybody yes yeah so how were you all living that life the future did very scary very scary how what would you do new to me you know how what would you do don't y'all want to know what they did every day we want to know what you did every day and where'd you stay and how did you eat and well you know how did you live like all all of you people yeah but how did you live though you worked and she didn't was she hidden did you keep her oh she worked uh actually got a job first i had a real hard time getting work uh and you know she worked two jobs and she worked right actually across the street from a police station [Music] in disguise no ma'am wow not the same name though of course no not using the same name coming up nick's warning to the men on this panel we'll be back [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so nick what do you want to say to these guys what do you want to say to these guys well i'd like to kind of say something to the doctor i was listening to him backstage and uh you know you talk about uh the money you know isn't a big deal at that time of my life in 1989 i also i uh you want to talk about poll on poll you know yeah but uh at that time i got money that helped finance and see you know the whole deal i was a key candidate i'm not saying that that's any anything that's happening with him but the money was a big part of it but you know on inmates defense i want to say you know because i was one of them also and you do need a significant other you know and uh if it works for these guys god bless it you know it didn't i don't feel that it worked for me you know i'm living proof that uh my whole life is a disaster now you were on the run with uh uh bambi for a year when you were on the run um did you have any contact with your children no ma'am nothing i wasn't on the run for a year i was uh gone for 93 days okay so that time you had no contact no ma'am no but i'd like to say when i did this on in my heart i never had intentions i've never seen my children again and the only reason that i could do what i did was because i knew that they were with their mother that you know a woman that took care of them loved them nurtured them and and i in my heart i knew that i'd see them again that's why i kind of felt however i did weigh everything i felt that i could do did you weigh everything before though no ma'am no ma'am i didn't i had absolutely no clue what the ramifications and how i would hurt the people that i did and what i would do to myself i was just did you think you were going to be with her forever yeah i guess i did yeah or were you somebody just said what what'd you just say i just said obviously he wasn't thinking he wasn't you weren't even thinking you weren't even thinking so now how do your children receive you well thank god i get to i see them daily we're going uh through intense therapy and uh hopefully we'll be able to put it all behind us you want your ex-wife back if she would have me you think she will have you god only knows it's a difficult you know it certainly uh certainly would be uh a blessing if it happened but you know only she can make that decision okay so now you and linda are going to get married when you when she comes out and try to do you know put things behind you i think the question that was asked earlier was about what kind of therapy or what kind of someone asked us about regarding religion do you all plan to do or do you just think that you can make the decision we're going to go forward and not repeat any of the mistakes of the past no i think we need therapy i think we need to go to counseling and try and work this stuff out between us so none of this ever happens again but well i feel by us remarrying like this it'd be like starting over again and trying to put this in and behind us you know i'm sorry for everything has happened and i want to apologize for my mother my grandmother and everybody's been hurt you know for what's happening but i can't change what has happened and i can't see no reason and going spend the rest of our life you know in term tomorrow turmoil or fighting about it living in the past yeah you're ready to move on coming up some final words from our jailed women back in a moment [Music] what happens to our guests after the show's over and this show was no exception here's where things stand now with today's guest all the female criminals were released from prison since october when we taped the show two months after we taped the show linda panky left jail light behind and is back with her husband danny linda's working as a waitress and hopes to go to college she says to get a degree she wants to be a cosmetologist linda and danny however have no contact with danny's disapproving mother dialene twenty-eight-year-old tammy jones was released a month after the show but prison officials say she did not marry her sixty-year-old boyfriend bill sonja as i said earlier was released from prison two days after we taped and even the warden was shocked when the ruling came down from the parole board larry picked her up and they drove off together according to sonya she moved in with him and things were going great as they planned their wedding but after a month of living together sonia says the pressure of living with larry was just too much so one night this past january she packed her bags she went to live with her girlfriend sonia says larry was so upset he called the parole board and reported that she was missing and probably using drugs somewhere when the parole board investigated his charges they took sonya into custody and put her back in jail where she has been since february sonia says she's still very upset with larry for turning her in and has only heard from him once since going back to jail she says she has no idea where he is we couldn't find him either but wherever you are larry sonja says she still loves you and would take you back if only you would call that's it for now any more news i'll let y'all know [Music] hotel accommodations provided by the meridian chicago offering
