Opening a Pokemon Jet-Black Spirit Booster Box! **NEW**

hey guys max here we're here today uh some more pokemon cards pokemon silver lance and pokemon jet black spirit or poltergeist whatever you want to call them they're new they're out let's get into them so today uh we've got uh jet black spirit which is what we're gonna call it and in my opinion pokemon just keeps on delivering there has been some incredible full art trainers in their recent sets and do not even get me started on the alt art on some of the pokemon and although i haven't really looked too much into this set i know it has some incredible alt arts um typically when i do an opening first off i try to go blind but okay we're more of these weird scrolls they've got a whole series of these girls but you know i i tend to have a look at some stuff but not everything and this is all blind and this artwork the first pokemon we see that is incredible look how cute that is he's dropping all these berries well they're all like flying up in a snow mountain top wind something something's going on there uh we've got grookie smashing the [ __ ] out of that stump and then we have kecleon dude this art is crazy and look at all these different ones like all just all um i guess they can go whatever color they want can they turn the color of a shiny keg cleon it looks like we do have a holographic to start it off who cares who cares about this no joke all of this art that i looked at first literally better than the holographic oh okay i'm stupid this is not wind sneezel is doing some fruit ninja type [ __ ] slicing all the berries i mean that's kind of rude i also just want to say i don't know this pokemon's name yes i could learn it before i open a whole box where it's on the front cover every single pack but um i do know he's on both boxes right so in this one he's riding on a shadow horse that is amazing art all these oh there's so much good art here and these i i've always got a soft spot for these little plasticine models always always very cute another cutie pie this whole set goes crazy okay you had to ruin it with the mocap suit gloves sorry a little sidetrack there so yeah this one is the shadow rider version and then in the other set we get the ice rider version i think all i know is holy [ __ ] it just keeps on coming this looks kind of weird look how they've done the smog in the background there it's like a half half between like a child's drawing and something else it's like a that's so interesting there's just so many different kinds of art and stuff in the pokemon card game now and this set still keeping things fresh still keeping things interesting i'm enjoying seeing these pokemon in all their glory we've got a snowy uh swacky we've got the gem goblin oh my god look at all those gems oh he's in like a perfect uh like borrowed out mine space look at that i don't know who's mined all the way through here and left these gems on the walls though uh we've got this little uh horse sitting on in the middle of the ocean on the iceberg coughing and we have our first car that's a hit a celebi v look at this thing i'm loving it i would like to see a new jirachi card though that would be nice but celebi it's almost like a close second can i just say what is this pokemon doing out here is this global warming okay since we got this beautiful little celebi i think it's time to show you guys the breath taking promo cards that came with this set if you bought two boxes of jet black spirit at any of their participating stores in japan you would get this promo card look at this thing this thing is this is just top tier pokemon look at that it's got like an inbuilt swirl yep take it all in take in the frozen winter wonderland celebi promo with this huge uh logo here much much better than the promo that you got if you bought the other box but we'll go through those promos when we do the silver lance box opening um i've got a couple of extra celebi's here beautiful beautiful cards these were not obtained by actually uh buying the boxes and getting them that way i just picked these up online they're a little expensive right now still i think they are coming down a little bit but yeah that's as good as it gets for modern promos i love it all right let's see what we get for this one one to the front flip it around what are we whoo it's the crystal ball will we get any good pulls today reveal your secrets or a c dot okay crazy c dot we've got a stupid uh bird and we've got a metagrass rengeki i guess those two big solid hands are made for smashing let us continue down the track and see what we can get one to the front flip it around we've got wheezing weight they're printing gallerian wheezing and regular wheezing in the same set okay looks like the charm of the gallerian pokemon has slowly started to wear off look at this look at this look at that wouldn't you love to just be waiting in that beautiful floral ocean setting with this little love disc cutie all right i ain't gay but the sound kind of there it is that's the one that's the one that's the shadow horse the shadow rider i don't know how this works uh if you guys want to let me know the law below like are these inseparable pokemon if i take this thing like off this thing is this its own species or is this horse almost like an attack or conjured up as in like a psychic extension of this pokemon i don't know i don't know much about it either way there it is that's the generic v version uh spoiler alert there's a very very nice alt art in here somewhere i'm sorry i have seen it it's it's beautiful okay another one let's see what we can get slide it out sideways one to the front flip it around we got the wheezing again we've got the uh another different kind of art look at this there's so many just different styles in here this kind of looks like the manafi sort of like a uh watercolor al almost except there's no harsh lines on it uh we've got the c dot we've got another one in the that same exact style of side arc there he is on the beach very cool and then uh this this guy he is another member of the elite four from one of the games which seems to be a theme that they're doing at the moment let us go again let us ride on into the shadows on the shadow horse one to the front flip it around let's see what we've got we've got goal work um gold is that golic or is the gold like the middle one we've got the crab with the big old boxing gloves we've got the sneasel and we have oh my goodness chris celia almost forgot this was a thing um that's a really nice hollow though i i dig that i do like that well there's your daily reminder that chrysalia is a pokemon i don't mind that that's a an interesting one to bring back i don't i've never minded the design of christie i've always thought it was pretty cool love disc we've got the ledian and we have in this one zorro with a big cat swipe pouring out a big old bowler yarn uh that's pretty cool art for uh just a regular v i'm assuming that's just a regular v yeah rengeki style they seem to be doing a lot of this almost anime type artwork for a lot of these and i've said that before and people are like oh yeah pokemons in anime how about shut up you know what i mean all right another one rip it open one to the front what will we get this time oh some different gloves great you've given two slots to two different kinds of gloves fantastic there's only 70 cards in the main set why not reserve two of them for gloves god all right stranded horse and we've got the obese squirrel man you're a greedy bastard look at it just stockpiling all those berries for itself i mean that's its name isn't it greedant disgusting another one let's see what we get one to the front flip it around we have uh some sort of energy in a weird like rainbow void we've got mareep we've got cast form and we've got the horse has evolved and he's got off the iceberg no longer stranded i mean maybe unless this is him like kicking around deep beneath the ocean next another pack another day another pack one to the front we've got this uh elite four dude again got little octopus we've got gold luck and we've got ladybug in the snow and then we have a v-max version of celebi v there he is all right nothing uh super crazy that's just that's just what the vmax version looks like that's just the normal artwork it's much more kind of uh like dark art not thematically just the the colors are very dark we've not seen anything too crazy just yet although it's been pleasant seeing all the new general artwork we've got the crystal ball again cast form again gem goblin again and mulga again and there is the frog what's his name again pulp power emperor palpatine oh wait no that's his younger evolution seismitoad that's it quite a disgusting beast a lot of pull-ups all over its body let's keep the dream alive what will we get from another pack one to the front flip it around holy [ __ ] that's a nice stadium is that a stadium card i'm not sure is that a graveyard or is that just like a forest space either those are gravestones or they're just a bunch of like uh weirdly shaped rocks that's a nice sort of just general open setting we've got this weird crab we've got uh matzia and we've got fletch bird and bigger bird continuing onwards and upwards open the pack one to the front we've got the bird again walmart moltres as i like to call him we have a gastly very clean looking ghastly and okay you're bringing these ones back uh cold stephen colbert caballian i think his name is there's a whole lot of space there for hollow he's in like a desolated gray landscape again again another another we still have not got any huge hits which is kind of good it means we're pacing ourselves we're saving up they're on their way there's a new uh character we've got um cdot's evolution nuzleaf uh one of the only pokemon that has visible nipples it's kind of an interesting bit of law about him love disc and he had the b-max version of the shadow horse riding pokemon that i still don't know the name of uh again in the same vein as the celebi v max this one also just a lot darker and a very interesting angle that they've taken to draw it in i don't really know if i like that okay we will not i keep pulling a little tab off all right we won't stop there boys we will continue onwards and upwards it's so weird that they have gallerian wheezing and regular wheezing in the same set it's kind of cool there's a rengeki energy we haven't seen some sort of prism [ __ ] and another pack one to the front they are slowly withering away these packs and i haven't got my mate what no way this there's just so many there's so many gorgeous cards look at this that that's incredible you could have made that a promo card and i would have loved that i would love to have seen that um where do we what do we say where do we start inkay going up the mountains he's got all his supplies he's carrying a tin of beans and apple some bread maybe taking it up to his trainer to cook up a storm got a leak there and we have the famous mumu uh cheese made by uh the titties of big old mill tank of course wow that is that's so cool i love that that's probably my favorite one i've seen also the keklian brilliant card and then this woman i gotta give it to him the spotlight today has been on the regular common cards along the way we haven't seen too many bangers for uh the v cards or the v maxes anything like that seismitoad but there's not that many here and there is something coming we still haven't got our guaranteed main big hit just yet so fingers crossed for something good one to the front let's see we've got an energy we've got the bird we've got uh emperor palpatine oh feet shot look at that look at those toes what those toes do that's a very weird um it's a weird bit of art uh then we've got ink and what are you gonna do okay okay horse [ __ ] and a double at that this is probably normal it's just years of seeing sonic rule 34 on twitter that have ruined me alright another attack jeez we're really down low here it's not that many more to go oh golduck very very cool he's uh chilling relaxing in the current underneath the ocean we've got the little golem baby and we have okay we're still seeing new cards and art even just for these regular run-of-the-mill stuff uh that's caitlyn she has a full art in here i'm pretty sure eight packs two goes one to the front flip it around we're still getting new stuff haunter he looks a little weird uh cast form we've got the hot stranded horse we've got the icy crap and we have uh the town all right give it up for this guy round of applause he looks like [ __ ] now he's having a crack poor fella get dug out of the fossil and uh here's a fossil pokemon right amphoras okay again still still amazing artwork on new stuff where is he he's in like a factory or something he's oh no he's being used as like a slave pokemon to sort of uh run the electricity or something he's sorry i'm just sticking her this is just he's it's so good it's so good ghastly all right we got flaffy we got cast form two different cast forms in this set and then a new holographic it is the big old monkey donkey conga 2 for the gamecube wow now that's good art i like that it's not too generic just for a regular holo i like this splash effect another one we must go on still we have not got our guaranteed mega hit what's it gonna be all right it's the drowning zebra gastly we got the bird still not that five packs to go let's just let's take this one all right random luck of the draw i do completely mix them up every time i do an opening i want to take them all out of the box i place them down i fully uh scramble them all up but it seems very common that i get down to the last few that i'm still mixing up and i still haven't pulled it it's always seems to be this way well very common all right come on come on baby one to the front who's it gonna be let's see empress amolga ladybar we have sneezel still going still going last three packs eenie meenie miney moe this one let's open it up let's see what we get one to the front it's going to be this one it's going to be this one isn't it all right here we go we've got a scroll your grandmother's scroll looks like an old rolled up curtain from my grandma's house um no we got the rengeki squid geez right so you are guaranteed like a full art trainer or better in a box sometimes you can get more but you're guaranteed at least that rarity or higher and out of all the packs we've done we still haven't pulled it so it's in one of these it could be a rainbow pokemon it could be an alt art pokemon it could be a full art shitty pokemon but it's got to be something we haven't pulled a rarity that fits the guaranteed slot just yet what is it going to be we're still getting new cards who is this whole tag probably another elite four member that i'll be criticized in the comments for not knowing uh in k look at the crab it's there it is okay okay [Music] look at her beautiful hair god damn it's almost like a actual goal man she's sleepy she's yawning you better go to bed second last pack let's go i like the way uh her hair looks and this the whole thing it's just got like a very premium vibe there it is guys well god damn all right caitlyn everyone and we're gonna go on to our last pack she was second last this one one to the front flip it around i feel like we owed at least another v anyone else feel that way let's see nope okay just a gengar but again another one we haven't got gengar tonguing the [ __ ] out of the staircase for some reason maybe trying to prank someone salivating on the stairs to trip someone over into breaking their neck so he can take them to the shadow realm sick artwork again i love this sort of subtle dark brushing of shadow over the tongue and the sort of grungy background okay well that's the box done now i guess it's time for max mofos postcard collection plus extras listen bad news this set that i was trying to complete that there's five to get somehow i bought four from one seller and just not the fifth one so i'm gonna have to go online and find that because we've been going through this lot here and the remaining ones here they don't add up it's not in here but we have this one which is either around the same era or just from the same pokemon center as it is also from hiroshima which i think the red gyarados is like their mascot or whatever uh pikachu cosplay pikachu as a shiny magikarp and a shiny gyarados and here comes the extra we do need to open one of these every episode until i get one of the alt birds i'm just going to do it until that happens spirit tomb all right let's see what we got in this one nope we've got the rengeki style karate bear and the last little extra thing i've just got so many sleeves i do need to start doing like one at the end of every video as well have i shown this one off uh all the cool fighting
