didn't my spirit that Lord you're gonna work this thing out it's been keeping me up all night I've been stopping on the green and driving on the red persons have been talking to me and I haven't had a word they said Lord you just have to fix this thing and it's good to touch somebody who's touching Jesus and as you touch squeeze those hands their father in the name of Jesus we have come tonight Lord and we're seeking revival in fact know the spirit of revival is already here we just asked you to confirm and affirm reaffirm and strengthen some things in us I'm touching someone who might need to be saved right now and I say God don't let this night pass without them acquiescing to the power of your word and breaking down to the anointing that you are placing on them by my touch right now somebody's going through something that you must fix tonight I press into their hands the solution right now fix it I said so I press into these hands power I present to these hands fresh anointing I press revival into these hands I press financial prosperity into these hands I press peace and joy in these hands right now and Satan will not be able to take it out of you because God's putting it so deeply in you that nobody can touch and I claim it done right now open our hearts open our minds and cause us to receive every word and I claimed it somebody said to it Lord in Jesus name a little more treble sound man just a little more treble you may be seated in the presence of the Lord we give honor to God and we're so glad that we're in the house of the Lord one more time and it's always it's always a privilege and an honor to come to the potter's house and to be in the house that the Lord used Bishop Jake's to build amen and we thank God for your great pastor and my friend amen to his lovely wife and my friend to all the pastor's that are gathered and to all the children of God is just marvelous to be in the house of the Lord and it's just good I can't think of any place I'd rather be than in the house of God I can't think of any place then in the place where the Spirit of the Lord is high and gathered with brothers and sisters looking for marvelous move of God I would be remiss in my duty if I didn't say that God has blessed us greatly with the Ministry of Bishop Thomas Dexter Jake's God had just been good to us amen and [Applause] I need to amen splashing just great blessing oh yes oh yes oh yes I have gone I have gone many a place and people get awfully excited about the person who's coming and they never seem to be as excited about the person who God has given them and I and I check I tell you I've seen it happen all my life people just never you never know how to give thanks for and it's something about when you begin to expect something somehow expectation you begin to expect it and then you get used to it amen and and and then sometimes we come to church I'm sure you don't come and just annoyed help him to preach the day help the bishop Lord just just please lord help him help him because he may he may not preach Lord so I need you just to help him to preach because I'm hungry and he may not get it across but not help him you don't have to do that [Applause] amen sometimes we take people for granted have you ever been taken for granted to be taken for granted as a compliment what it says is what it says is you have been reliable very faithful extremely dependable so we don't have to worry about whether or not you're going to be there and whether you produce I hate to be taken for granted but it's a wonderful compliment it says I'm consistent it says I'm persistent it says I get the job done amen but please let's not take our great leader for granted let's thank God every day for the Ministry of Bishop Thomas Dexter Jakes I love him I love it I tell you and I love you the people of God I just I just love people period I guess it's just good to love people I brought some tapes with me I brought some I brought 15 years with David and this is from the time he was anointed until the time he became king and it opens very it's interesting that God he has to say that man looks at the outward appearance God looks at the heart that's what happened when they were choosing David and David was nowhere around can you imagine that you are what God wants and no one in the house ever thought to send for you I mean all all 7le are bother but Bella's gone through and nobody thought that God could have possibly wanted the one that was not in this house is sometimes you just so totally overlooked and sometimes God has to keep you out the house to prepare you to take over his stuff I mean 50 years of David any significant that you know he had to have a heart for it you see you have to have a heart to be the first person in a second position because David yes he was a anointed but Saul was still King so for years and years David is the first person but he's in his second position you got to have the heart to know that you're the Anointed One but somebody has been appointed over you [Applause] I'm the Anointed One but I'm hiding in caves I'm the anointed one but I've got hell to pay every day until God brings you into your kingdom a man then I brought the power of love Oh Lord now love is no greater than the character that loves because he says he loves you that does not mean he's going to work [Applause] love is in his heart but work has to be in his character [Applause] it's interesting that most of us have intent but not extend for God so loved the world that was his intent He gave His only begotten Son that's his extant because he subjectively loved the world you see how far he'll go to express it so one's ability to love is tied up in the strength of who you are you cannot love outside of your ability and oftentimes we choose outside of our ability [Applause] then of course I brought the power of the mind and the mind Satan wants to control your mind God wants to control your mind God through the spirit Satan through situations God does not move in this situation to control your mind he says let the situation stay just the way it is and I'll change your mind in the middle of the situation that I make you change your situation because you can be out of a situation but if the situation is not out of your mind amen and then of course nothing to fear in terms of living your life in spite of all the threats no more threats you gotta solve the whole issue of dying so you can live in first Peter tonight Chapter five I would like you to look at verse six through 11 first Peter tonight and I'm sure the bishop will let me teach a little bit and before I hope if you notice peter is writing and he as always when the the epistles when they begin to close they generally give you just a verse quick verse here that explains something and another quick verse there that explains something and then he goes on to other things as as you would do if you were closing a letter you would begin to say little things like remember tell Johnny to bring my coat or or I forgot my glasses and my glasses he says in for instance verse 5 of chapter 5 first Peter 5 verse 5 says likewise ye younger submit yourselves unto the elder yea all of you be subject one to another be clothed with humility for God resisteth the proud giveth grace to the humble and I'm speaking in that context then in verse six now he says now humble yourself therefore under the mighty of God that he may exalt you in due time casting all your care upon him for he careth be sober be vigilant because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about seeking he may devour touch somebody and say he can't eat everybody he's looking for somebody which means he just can't get everybody whom resist steadfast in the faith knowing that the same of frictions are accompanied in your brethren that are in the world but the God of all Grace who have called aztlán to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus after that ye have suffered a while make you perfect stablish strengthened settle you to him be glory and Dominion forever and ever amen look at your neighbor and said you had to go through it [Applause] one of the things that that that is so striking about being molded by God is the fact that I am quite conscious of what he's doing with me I wish sometimes that I could be placed in some spiritual an aesthetic state and I when I came to everything would be in place am I the only one [Applause] I would I would so like to go into a spiritual coma sorta thing and wake up and just become the best person but it doesn't work like that you understand that and we're in the Paris house and so we understand the symbol of the powder and the clay and in any in any powerful in any analytical comparison there were certain things that follow and certain things that you can't apply the one thing that's different between the clay and you and Olli is that we feel when God is shaping us [Applause] and sometimes the manner in which he shapes us because we often persist so ebullient Li to continue to do what we do he has to mold us in order to get us to be what he wants us to and because we are so persistent in being what we want to be he has to intensify the situation oh I don't know how far to go I'm not homeless [Applause] sometimes I want what I want badly and I never knew that flesh was so difficult to control until I met God and the reason is I actually had no reason to measure the intensity of my desires because before I met God I didn't deal with oh I wish somebody tell the truth know that God has shown up and he requires certain behavior I find I have this proclivity to resist and consequently because I resist he has to mold me a little harder and I'm conscious of the pain [Applause] I want to talk to somebody that wants to be revived when you consider the insistence you have to come to the conclusion then then that all of us have to be chasing because none of us walk in line with God simply by faith what God does is he uses faith and chastening to bring us into where he wants us to go and it seems to me that those of us that he loves the most he puts us through whatever it takes I'll touch somebody say you had to go through it [Applause] Oh Lord the issues here that the surrounding is this is that is that sometimes I want what I want I want it god yes I do and and I know you don't want me to walnut but Lord you got to help me not to want it and and so so so consequently because iiiii go after this thing he he has to allow me to feel the whipping that comes from what and so consequently what he does is he loves me but he protects me in allowing me so that I don't go crazy before he brings me back I feel the Holy Ghost in to hear somebody say yeah go through it or you've never been the same you have to go through it forgot to establish you and strengthen you put you where you are right now because if clock didn't let you go through it you'd still be trying to get it right about it is it is significant to understand this I I always the next thing I wanted the Lord to do and is is Lord disconnect the flesh please just just turn it off but I found that what he does is he measures the strength of his anointing against the strength of the flesh so he steps in my spirit which is embedded in the middle of my body and he says I'm in here now and I am going to put you through whatever you got to go through connecticut's another further 6e sometimes you have to almost lose your mind to change your mind and so the writer now says that any man who takes needs a high place before men has to take a low place before God because he has now got to Humble me in the situations that I choose if if I were to add to this I would tell you that all of us choose our chastening you are not chastened outside of what you choose to do because of the process of your persistence that now has brought the situation to where you're in the hand of God he now is taking over the circumstance and the situation to mold you and shape you while you consciously see and feel what's going on and the first reaction now then is for you to become defiant and angry with God because your point of view is if you knew it was out there Lord you should have not allowed me to do it even when you were persisting anyway oh god I feel it here the Lord is not going to move some things for you to walk like you oughta walk he's gonna set you in the middle of the same hole jump and cause you to move through it and I wish I could preach it like I feel it somebody's running out to something that you're running away from and they think it's altogether lovely and you're trying to get up out of there because you know the real deal lets you go through it oh no you know how to pray for somebody the next time you lay hands on somebody it's gonna be a hand laid on with the anointing having been through he says now you must humble yourself verse six and it's actually in the passive voice which means that the subject of the verb is passive in the hands of God and he's saying now you humble yourself and let God act upon you because you would like to insist on certain behavior so now he's saying now don't get angry and don't get carried away just lay in his hand through this thing because you have to suffer yourself to be humbled you've got to allow him to work on you to refine you went to bring out the Nuggets that's embedded deeply inside your spirit and it's this circumstance this process of a persecution and this process of having been brought into things because of your weakness it is now going to give the opportunity to God because if God does not use negatives to make us better then none of us would be good at all it is the negative that God uses to get us to crawl into his will and to stay where we ought to be and so the exhortation then is that honored in God is humbling yourself in his hand when you honor him you simply say alright Lord this is the way it is I got myself in it now you work this process so that when I come to the other side of it I will be one most powerful human being the exhortation then has to be followed by comfort he's got to comfort me now because I'm in a situation that I know he can move but he's allowing it to stay because my mind has not yet fixed itself that I will not go back that way again so he's allowing the process to go a little longer because while the process is going longer I'm becoming more firm in my will that I'm not doing this again I might be close to crazy but God still holds my sanity in his hand and he says not let me handle you because if I handle you then you're telling me you trust the process I'm using I have been in situations I wanted out immediately but I wanted out to go back in the suburbs quickly I feel somebody here that knows what I'm talking about but God help me in the situation until my spirit got power over my flesh until I said to myself double I will never again I'm going to be established in your face oh I feel this presence it's this humility then that becomes a prerequisite for the exaltation so what God does now is in the middle of what I'm going through he says just stay there and I'll bring you out can I take a little further sometimes your enemies are snooping and they would like to destroy you and God oftentimes while he's working with you he covers you [Applause] what you're going through so that's your enemies don't even know what's happening because if they know what's happening they would have stepped forward destroy you what God offers you every now and then a checks you out to make sure you're still there happy now Betty sent you a word that lifts your spirit every now and then he comes in like a flood then when it makes you strong the covers are off and he lets you tell where God brought you from oh I feel this presence touch somebody said you have to go through it you did you had to you had to uh no you had to you had to you know you have you you had to go through it [Applause] but you got away he can't get you no more because you're strong enough to see a snake [Applause] he can move it to the lesson his hours to gain and as long as he's working on regaining the lesson he will not move it I have learned that when the Lord is not working on things for me he's working on me oh yes I've learned and so now he says I know that in the middle of what you're going through now you have some concerns I know yes Lord I do the first one is that you can move this thing now and let me go on with my life that's my first concern you can get it done now but the Lord says don't concern yourself with your concerns he says now cast all your cares put it in storage but it's still yours but now so don't be concerned about whether or not I'm going to restore you I'm going to restore you you see but I just want you ready so that the next time I have to put nothing on storage come see I want you ready so that the next time give you something you keep it the next time I'll open the door you walk in it the next time I bless you with somebody you'll be so glad you've got somebody you I feel like having Church yeah touch your neighbor say I had to go through it to [Applause] it's now I don't want you worried while you're going through while you're in this state of being humbled because caring the text means anxiety it means worry yeah and he says I want all of it I want every type I want the whole of your worries because now what you're showing me in the middle of what you're going through is that your faith has not failed yes you have failed but your faith has not failed yeah because you see I need something to pull you out by what I pull you out by is your faith I don't pull you out by your hands your knees I don't pull you out by your intellect I don't pull you out by your reason I pulled you out by your trust in me so now he says I want you to cast it on me because he's playing upon the word fears concerns he says you cast your cares because I care for you so if I care for you everything you care for is already in my hand if you care for something and I care for you I'll control your cares so I'm worried about you not about the stuff you're worrying about oh I feel like preaching do you see the move of God in your life and can you feel god birthing in you the strength that you have always wanted do you feel God lifting you to a level where there's power in your life and when you look back over your life because of the good times it's in the bad times that strengthen you and give you power for the good times take it do I have enough time to preach this thing boys he was concerned about them because they were his concern they honored him when they looked at Nebuchadnezzar and said we're not going to bow he's able he will but if not we're not going to bow because we trust him to deliver us out of your hand and any way he does it that's fine so I'm going to put my anxiety aside because anxiety is a contradiction of humanity anytime I have anxiety it's a self-contradiction to true humility because I'm saying now Lord I'm in your hand this situation is in your hand how this thing comes out is in your hand and since you got it in yours I'm not going to keep it in mind I'm gonna let you have me and have everything around me now is an exulting then of self against God and what God is saying now if you think you can handle it and won't give it to me then what you're saying is you're more powerful than I am oh I wish somebody'd understand this there's something in your life right now that you might as well just let it go and let God have it might be a child might be a job might be a mate might be what just let it go because you're going to mess it up feeling you can handle it better than God I remember Abraham trying to help God ends up with Hagar ends up with Sarah helping him to get Hagar and Sarah doing something she couldn't handle now Abraham is in a mess because he's got to give up his own blood because they decided to help God out by taking matters in their own hand when it's in God's hands it's in the best hands it can be one reason I feel good about it coming out of my hand is God never messes up when he's working on a child you just hold on and watch yourself the folk that are talking about you now in your humility God's gonna set you on top of them you pray them through somebody high five and said neighbor God's gonna bless you're so good you gonna bless folk who wouldn't bless you God's gonna take you so much higher you're gonna be good too focal wouldn't be good to you God's gonna take you to the next level when you come through this piece of junk that you're going through right now I feel something pushing me now the humbling process then has been allowed to accomplish his purpose so he has it and us under his control the devil thought he had control of my situation and often times he did but God had control of the devil who was controlling the situation oh I hope you see I'm in the hand of now he's got controlled and I'm hurting and I'm saying to the Lord it's far out you've got me strung out here when are you bringing me back in and right about the point in the middle of the struggle when vulnerability Rises because right about now you want to find a place to ease the pain that's going on in your life you're trying to find a hideout because you don't want to stay until God works it out and you're saying to yourself now I think I got to do something about this I know somebody from my past who if I could get with him right now it would Charlotte he's a whole lot of stuff I know a shortcut to make some money and maybe I oughta try that right up I know somebody so honest it is so righteous but for what I need right now I need to make a move I'm talking to somebody in here the best thing to do but it ain't the worst thing either cuz what I'm going through right now I've got to do something humble yourself stay right where you are because now he says you're vulnerable because you're hurting so much oh I know I talk to myself I better preach to me right now sometimes you're hurting so much that you're just doing anything to get rid of the pain you know it ain't going away for long but just for a moment is better than just going through him now he says when you're vulnerable be sober and be vigilant because right about now when you're hurting Devils will come out of your pants you're like bitching so you ain't never seen you wonder how they know you going through somebody calling from New York City talking about you know I was thinking about you the other day and I was wondering how are you doing right about now I feel like I'm lifting him up give somebody high I'd say I know the devil's busy walked away from trying to get back in you know the devil's busy people and Steve's that you turned down before you came to God you thinking about them again you know that that was busy don't go back to anything you walked away from before you met God I feel the Holy Ghost give somebody a high five and say humble yourself gods get ready to exalt you some of yourself he's got it under control humble yourself let him squeeze you a little bit let him work on you let him fix her let him shake let him mold you when you come through this folk who used to intimidate you I'm going to be intimidated by you [Applause] the adversary he says when in the middle of your pain that's when you've got to be vigilant it's when things are rough and tough and you're screaming in the night and that's when God says be sober you've got to be mentally self-control avoid the psychological pitfall of letting Satan whispered to you about God because he's diabolic God in your mind because you're saying in your spirit Lord you can change this and the demoscene yes he can but I don't think he will and there were times when he talks to you about people around you who love you because they try to talk to you about the way you are love you and sometimes God cuts off your help and don't let people nurture you through your mess but he just let everything go crazy because he's trying to get you to see you got to lean on me through this I'm not letting anybody come to your rescue your rescue arm your fortress and sometimes I gotta let things happen that way in order to build you and strengthen you in the critical time struggling with your cares struggling with your trust that's when Satan comes in a mighty way because he wants to before were you and he's a roaring lion I feel the Holy Ghost the roar of the lion is designed to confuse the prey so when the lion roars and you start running you run right into his mouth so the next thing he says he says be sober and be vigilant and stand and resists the devil kept your neighbor high five said any time to run now now it's time to stand now oh I feel him in here he says resist which means I got to stand firm I'm standing got no friends but I'm standing but I'm standing because my confidence is that God is going to bring me out I feel something moving here there is anointing running through your house now that's you ain't never heard because while you're going through it the Lord visits you in the night he's been waking you up you thought you needed to go to bathroom wrong he wants you on your knees you thought you were hungry wrong he wants you to roll over get a little strength to get through tomorrow I feel like shouting in here not gonna keep you much longer touch your neighbor says stand firm it ain't time to run right now it ain't time to look for somebody to help you out right now at any time that form no allegiance with some fault that you didn't deal with in the first place it ain't no time to run back to somebody that you don't want anyway please don't choose somebody Wow you're weak because when you get strong you go wonder what in the world [Applause] I feel the Holy Ghost in it touch your neighbor say I had to go through it every another team together it made you more perfect he blended you together with the power of his mercy they put something down in you that said never again look at soul neighbor said tell the devil never again lift your foot up and drop it on his head [Applause] say he shall be perfect no defect in you that I'm establishing can I preach like I feel it but somebody's established means no matter how the winds blow I'm standing where I'm standing I will not be moved and have come with that contrary win been there done that [Music] been there done that to go through it somebody say I'm anointed because I went through it getting it ready to people s you already been the hell you already been walked on so what's left well the only thing left is to be exalted human hear somebody say salty God up in the hell so it's time for exalting tell me to tell you had to go through it a better job for you yeah I had to go through it but I give you double for your trouble you have to go through it but I'm getting ready to make you a monument of my greatness I'm gonna stop this your money stablish your honey stablish your health stablish your mind shake somebody's hand said italic a movie anymore you had to go through it to lose your money to lose your job [Applause] [Music] [Applause] ha [Applause] real quick and tell them I had to go through it I have to go through it suffered a while a short time it's my time I've been through it this the pain is gone the hurt is gone the sorrow is gone [Applause] [Applause] [Music] you could [Applause] you could not imagine [Music] [Applause] that the hero of that humbling experience was going to build you into a giant [Applause] you could not imagine that the ugliness of that circumstance with all of the embarrassment Oh [Applause] [Music] has made you oh you can pay for Meena oh you've been through some honey folk who have been to anything they can't pray for me but they don't know what to pray for but when you go through it [Applause] you know behave [Applause] somebody oughta give him some praise then somebody [Applause] come closer [Applause] I'm closing [Applause] I'm calling for those people in this building who don't know the Lord and let me put it this way I met the love of God long before I met the god of love why'd I say that I met his love because there's somebody in here many people and I'm calling I'm calling first of all for my brothers men if you're in here and you're not saying I want you to move this way right now I'm calling you you should have been dead in the streets when gunshots went off all around you but God had chosen you before the foundation of the world tonight is your night come on [Applause] come on tonight is your night I want you to say Lord I'm coming to you as a man I'm stepping out come on this is your soul tonight the devil won't have you that's it that's it the devil the devil won't have you come on our right sisters you come my brothers you come everybody come right now everybody come everybody God is calling you I must be saved tonight and the reason you're in this house is because some things didn't quite go like you thought they should that was God that's God somebody give God some brings I want the church to shake the tree I'm coming to God I got to come I need the Holy Spirit I can't leave here without being saved I can't leave it that's it that's it got to have my salvation I've got to help God move in my life that's it that's it that's it that's it break down the barriers break down the barriers come on come on break him down the devil is alive must be saved tonight I must give my life to him all my gifts I'm giving them to God all my ability I'm giving to God everything I can be I'm giving to God everything I should be I'm giving to God everything I must not be I'm not going to be I'm giving that to God so that he'll make sure I never fail or falter established me anybody here want to be established come on this way I'll stablish you in the Holy Spirit I'll order your steps I'll open doors make way somebody praise Him one more time I feel a breakthrough here that's right that's right here is the god of our salvation bless His name I want you to take somebody's hand now or to this place get one partner by both hands I want you to get one partner get one part that's it that's it that's it you had to go through that you had you had to go through oh yes I want you to touch God right where you are somebody's in the middle of that experience right now with all the pain it brings but the Lord has showed me a picture right now of your life and I see six weeks ago the pain was excruciating but it's lessening it's lessening one minute you thought you could not live but now you're catching hold of life again whose Oh blow away in a few weeks from now is gonna be a memory and God's going to replace all of what he put in storage and add a fresh blessing to it because it's always been yours you had to go through that because now you're prepared I feel your features standing deeper in the Word of God I see a spirit standing deeper in the Fellowship of the Holy Ghost I see it rising up again in a way that you could have never risen unless you had to go through that oh I feel something telling me in a few weeks you're gonna look back at it and rejoice and say lord I thank you because you had this in mind squeeze those heads in the name of Jesus I pray right now for the hands I hold I pray for my brother my sister and I say Lord open their spiritual eyes and show them that this is for their good and that what they thought was the worst day in their lives has now become the best day and I claim the strength I claim your revive spirit I claim it right now the infusion of the Holy Spirit upon you by the laying on of my hands by our touching and agreeing right now you are moving into your time thank you Jesus thank you Jesus Oh glory thank you Jesus you had to go through it you had to go through it now pop your eyes open and tell your neighbor but it's almost over touch somebody I'll say it is over now give God some joy innocence [Applause] pass me not [Applause] [Music]
