holy crap did the customer die [Music] before the staff comes in to prepare for lunch gordon arrives early to do a thorough investigation of the kitchen oh god what is that twice baked potato thank [ [Music] just look at the colors in there look at that it's moldy it's now lunch time the chefs are preparing customers are getting ready to eat but gordon steps in guys have a quick word with both you two seconds oh when was the last time you went in the kitchen and had a little look around once every tuesday so we'll go in the wall scrub them down god when was that cleaned irene you mentioned earlier about how clean right this place was the border health came here and believe me they gave us 95 so the place is clean that's 95 out of 100 right i really don't think you've got any idea can i the sauce sauce was a pesto sauce bring it over please you're right i didn't see it you didn't see that i didn't see that you got glasses on the man the pesto sauce that was not forgivable i'm humiliated about that believe me positively positively now this is not a time hey to laugh and take the [ __ ] piss out of me i've eaten this [ __ ] what's going on peter i'm surprised that gordon didn't make him eat it and this is scrubbed every tuesday oh [ __ ] every [ __ ] week you got the nerve to tell me that you clean the walls every [ __ ] tuesday [ __ ] off will you touch the wall you shut up a kitchen and tell the customers to go home never and that's that's an embarrassment not here anyway why don't you clean when you're quiet i stay busy all day from 11 o'clock when i walk in the door until 5 36 when we get tables dude doing preparation every day by myself gordon ramsay he can go off on somebody for absolutely no reason it's impossible to clean everything and he just stare at me that's good i thought it's very good so um what would you recommend for lunch my lasagna is homemade all this is fresh right yes everything else is fresh it's not fresh we don't sell it the soup of the day is a it's a wedding soup consists of vegetables and little mini meatballs it's really nice actually the best balls in town it's awesome people love it okay when chef ramsay sat down the first thing i thought man this guy's gonna be surprised he's definitely gonna do some kind of cartwheels to eat his food he's gonna he's got a few items he wants so we start off the soup of the day uh i'm gonna try the lasagna that's homemade and then finally i'll finish up with a new york strip how do you want that cooked mid-rare steak red take away excuse me please and how long have you been ahead of it three years three years wow did you put his order did you put his order in so he i'm talking to you i just want to make sure you take care of it yeah yeah that's fine okay so why does he interrupt you like that ah sometimes in the middle i'm giving like specials oh i'm sorry i'm i gotta uh bring dave i'm like damn i'm talking to the people they feel like what's the matter with him god that's not nice that's not nice at all sami he got no manners and i think somebody gotta teach him how he gotta be when he's working give me first the lasagna and then you're gonna give me the sirloin steak you know what he said make it nice please you got that wedding suit bruh nice yes yes well that was quick [Music] yes hideous i can bits of [ __ ] put together and brought to the ball and anemic gray meatballs in there how was your soup yeah that's a wedding suit that's to get him in the mood to get married jesus i'd rather get [ __ ] divorced oh my god and that's made fresh every day is it normally our soups last two days two days how could it be a stupid day when it's soup of yesterday and it's sort of it's bland anyway hopefully hopefully the other dishes will be better thank you soup of the day [Music] you said the soup soup is blend is not good that soup was two days old but that doesn't mean it's garbage you know what i'm saying who is your [ __ ] health department critic oh my god jeffrey says the soup is not good well i can't throw the soups out that's the rules and what i want you to do is take two lasagnas out put them in the mic make sure the lasagna's nice and hot manny i told him it's my homemade lasagna my signature item okay do the right thing lasagna please manny got this one [Music] wow here's your lasagna homemade lasagna oh jesus look at that someone drop it jesus here we've got like white bits of chicken or veal but there seems to be something slightly synthetic and plastic inside that tastes absolutely hideous that is homemade i'll [ __ ] dance in this restaurant tonight start bolling naked that is not homemade holy crap with the steak thank you what is that in there that's the uh ground beef that's beef it looks like canned dog food ask the chef where the uh recipe's from if it's homemade there's almost a recipe which one which one do you want to know uh if it's a homemade lasagna where you get the recipe my mother and where you put ground beef on what was the cause it's italian design it's not a goddamn chinese lasagna [Music] it's a tough steak not seasoned greasy the food is consistent consistently poor what a shame okay i'm done that's full of grease where those things come from who buys them is that something yep the food is really really bad in all aspects we've been trying to tell this army for a long time but of course because we are the employees they don't listen having had a good taste of some bad dishes gordon heads to the kitchen to meet with sammy and head chef jose hey guys how you doing let's go through it together shall we yeah soup was hideous how old is that soup the soup has been like uh three days with me yeah three days with you yeah it tasted like it it tasted disgusting bland and everything was cooked to [ __ ] the lasagna let's quickly go on to that that was unique uniquely [ __ ] that's homemade where is it yeah can you get me a portion why was it dry in the middle of the sauce sure we proportioned it we cut them it's frozen he says it says it's frozen how old is that that's the lasagna i make the last week of priority we make three drizzles on a time and then we proportion then we freeze we take some up as we need okay so it's not fresh that's what i'm trying to say it doesn't mean it's bad does it mean it's bad i'm italian man here's a guy from scotland what [ __ ] he know about lasagna does any chef throw food away if it's not bad answer that mr ramsay any chef yes yeah hello you gonna throw it away should i answer it or you're gonna [ __ ] critiquing telling all these bad things about my food i feel like what is this guy out of his mind then the biggest disappointment was a steak who buys the steak that's the toughest steak i've ever eaten i've dropped down on the steaks because my business has dropped it was a choice steak it's not my black angus you're right i love the way you got excuses for everything i couldn't do anything right it was it was amazing it was very hard for me to swallow i could i couldn't believe it he said everything i did was wrong you're very pumped up i give a thought because i believe we have good stuff yeah are you asking me or telling me i'm telling you i think maybe you walk up on the wrong side of the bed i get out the same side of the bed every day i know what the [ __ ] i'm talking about salad to grill lettuce i mean can't go wrong grilled salad come on it is grilled you're still amazed i'm shocked i've never thought about it but it's true like wait why are we grilling lettuce [Music] sorry for interrupting just two seconds but this is the first for me a grilled caesar salad they actually grilled the lettuce um can you just show her a hand if anyone else has ever had a grilled caesar cellar before anybody here ladies no [Music] oh geez i always get nervous when a chef serves me the butt the lettuce when you've got the butt of the lettuce on you can never clean the lettuce properly and unfortunately it's not very nice inside [Music] dried chicken the salad looks hideous why is it so spicy everything is spicy everything jesus thanks word has spread that chef ramsay is in town hello and the restaurant that is normally not very busy right this way is booked for you sir the chicken quarterly okay tonight chef ramsay will continue to examine the dysfunctional workings of this restaurant uh jeez what's all this [ __ ] here for hello chefs do people does anyone actually sit down here they do yes they do and when you uh when they sit on this do you not think this looks the restaurants called the old neighborhood but like the kitchen's an old dilapidated neighborhood yeah what is that is that your wow you are kidding me he sticks it in the prime rib and he sticks it back in there what's that sprite hand coating so it doesn't stick a canned coating yes wow my mother's definitely lost her high standards over the last 15 20 years there you go brandi i know she cares for this place but the passion and the fire that i've seen in her before is no longer there hey fillet fillet lamb chops god damn it i probably burned them son of a [ __ ] what is this in here this is the office wow how could anyone work in this mess joey it doesn't make sense what then yo what what is all this junk old equipment what's it here for parts once in a while parts so what parts do you take from a 1950s ice machine legs legs and what's this oh it's a microwave does it work uh no so what can you take from that then i don't know wow look at the mess it's like you're hoarding stuff chef ramsay must think i'm a lunatic for having that stuff sitting back there but i don't really think that i'm a hoarder it's just hard for me to throw things away where's that noise coming from something doesn't sound right in there oh crush the license next to cleaning equipment how long has that been there was not in there yesterday so it died early as this morning that dry [Music] can we come out there that that died a lot longer than 24 hours ago let's order okay gotta go for the stuffed uh banana peppers um i've got to try that italian stuffed filet okay how do you like it done medium rare please okay um carletta it's our signature sauce who came up with that idea dino dinner it came to him in a dream really our claim to fame came in a dream from someone who knows nothing about food or how to prepare it flip an egg okay um gotta go for the chicken carleta because that's the sauce that was dreamt up one night in his dream absolutely very much absolutely and it begins don't sweat the chef do what you guys normally do [Music] what is that olive oil yeah but it doesn't taste like olive oil by a little taste it was very watery it tastes like fine oil it does excuse me sir is that scenario yeah absolutely thank you wow that's dreadful tina chefs ramsay's asking for you at 43. oh no tina's been such a hands-off manager for so many years now that she's become so blase yes sir and what is that olive oil is that canola oil no it's it's common is that the is that what you're serving there it's that mix look at that jeez it smells off you smell that what's in there i don't know when was the last time they were cleaned i don't know you're the front of the house what a mess there's a bathroom nearby i can just wash my hands to the basement [ __ ] what happened there what's that thermosoap oh my god are they done every day probably a couple weeks ago so that's just sat there from fresh and you said two weeks no probably three weeks ago that is longer than three weeks this stinks i'm sorry oh my god sam yes how long have these desserts been sat here couple months a couple of couple months a couple of months you just told me three weeks no i would say i learned mine it was a couple months do they stay out all night yeah that is a [ __ ] health hazard oh my gosh [ __ ] my boots i can't i can't do this it's chef's delay right here okay here's our stuff platter tikki and then i'll end up with that tsunami on filet mignon okay thank you okay before chef ramsay all right i think jeff ramsey's mouth's gonna drop to the floor when he sees a few other things on the menu are tuna appetizer thank you enjoy [Music] is that always that hot in terms of spicing they have a tendency to spice things up a bit there's an embarrassment to tuna yes i'll shall take the other little end there i will thank you my dog brian cheryl chef ramsay would like you guys to taste the tuna it is really spicy i've been saying this since i got here i never had a problem doesn't matter if you love it or not everybody else four times i've got complaints about being spicy so he's he's done with it ribs are destroyed sunday we made those it's a week four days whatever my father to put his black chef coat on yeah cheryl wants you to put your black chef coat on next filming so i'm sort of looking forward to really nice classic piece of meat show you where it is strip down baby i'm not looking i'm getting excited we have a flaming filet mignon that i serve tableside people just love the chef's dream filet mignon something simple something classic and something shelly is delusional about how fabulous her food is i hate the macaroni and cheese just looks like crap on the plate this is pork chop this smothered pork chop thank you [Music] looks like some shat on my plate [Music] it's just dry that's bland nothing's seasoned there how's your pork chop the pork chop is dry the mac and cheese is way overcooked and very mushy you think a soul food ration would pride itself on cooking mac and cheese but now it's just all is that heated in the microwave no i think they just put it in them in the oven to warm for our lunch service thank you what's wrong he's saying that the macaroni and cheese is dry and overcooked he asked me how we warmed it in the microwave i told him no it just came out of the oven they may have put it in the microwave for a minute only for a minute though everything is cooked to perfection there is nothing on that menu that is not perfect okay here we go i'm taking over now five collard greens move it to the middle put an orange chip in the middle that's it how can you actually say there's a social restaurant are the collard greens are not just my collard greens and just like pepper soil you know you can't have food tasting like that tell chef i said to taste those collard greens they're perfect here it goes chefs collard greens wow okay great thank you very much indeed wow that's bland no seasoning it's just fried and soggy and limp uh james what do you think you gotta eat it all together if you eat it all together it shouldn't well i did eat it all together it still stayed bland thank you oh my god what is he saying about our stuff now lil blend oh my god collard greens it's great he's crazy where's the chitlins at it's in the microwave they're delicious if we get one out of three we might be all right and this is the gentleman's and okra okay chitlets [Music] i mean i know chitlips are the intestine but should they really stink before i do taste them i'd like to pray to god before i put any
