Naughty Looking Easter Egg Gives Phillip & Holly the Giggles | This Morning

[Music] now then from aubergines made of chocolate the latest chocolate trends there's something for everyone this easter so whether you're a chocoholic or a vegan or you're looking for something a little bit different ice beer has the perfect easter egg for every taste hi alice good morning good morning yes we are definitely not counting calories this morning calories are out of the window and in my tummy now it seems like eggs have been in the shop since before christmas doesn't it but they're big business for the retail industry they sell more than 80 million boxed easter eggs every year in the uk so this is a big big thing before i go on to some of the more delicious more exciting eggs can i just advise you to be careful about where you buy your eggs from this is from consumer group witch who took a basket of eggs of five eggs when they bought them at waitrose they cost 25 pounds and 6 pence same eggs tesco 19 pounds 50. same eggs asda 16 pounds 45. what's that mr bunny you say mister oh mr bunny dropped a goat again 61 difference eight pounds 61 different on the same five eggs so please be a little bit careful about where you buy your eggs from now every year the creme egg comes out pretty much top one of the absolute nation's favorites i know it tends to get a little bit smaller but it's a really good favorite which one will you choose though this year i'm going to run through some of my favorite eggs and i'm going to start with mr bunny because frankly i don't think you can beat a lint chocolate bunny egg this is one of the biggens aren't they great and also you get a table decoration as well and if you just take that foil off you could just chomp off those ears and it's really good solid chocolate got i've been on a diet and i'm slightly over excited today about all this chocolate so the lint bunny that's the top one four pounds i picked that one up from tesco's next on my little easter egg hunt we are coming to the percy pig where's my percy pig percy pig here percy is from m s he is a giant percy wearing jazzy trousers he's 10 pounds in store i think you've got him to taste there as well we've got noses okay oh no i think it's an air oh it is in here that's all right and his trousers have got dried raspberry and strawberry pieces and he's got sprinkles on his pants who doesn't want to spend easter weekend with sprinkles on their pants for goodness sake do you like him i like him he's very sweet chocolate i mean it's it's almost like um chocolate milk there used to be years and years and years ago a pink panther bar and they tasted a little bit like a pig oh yes i love that oh delicious yum i'm going to go and find one of them they're good they're going to exist somewhere i'm going to find them um okay next we have got hotel chocolate now we all love their chocolate here we go rocky road to caramel you've got one of these in front of you to taste as well now when hotel chocolate started making eggs they were advised to make them as thin as possible but oh no no not for hotel chocolate they made them really super thick you've got the rocky road one they come in this really nice little pot you halve it and then inside i think i've got the patisserie version you've got these absolutely delicious chocolates to enjoy as well as the actual egg really yummy and obviously ethically good they're really good i have to say it's lush is it yeah they're just so smooth and luxurious they are aren't they they just feel really spoily and that's 29 pounds fat egg now i've just noticed on the hotel chocolate website 15 off all orders that are over 30 pounds and i think that ends uh tomorrow so if you're going to go on to hotel chocolate then get your orders in okay now the next one you don't have to go over the top to be very special and this is a very special egg here is my harry spektor's eggs enjoy our chocolates love the cause it says because harry specters is a it's a family company it's a lovely company and they employ and give free work experience to adults with autism so you enjoy your chocolate knowing that this is a really good company and the the patterns on there just six different types the patterns are made of natural coloring so really lovely actually the hair respective egg is from my favorite favorite i think a lot of water the ones that you see that's that's the one i think that looks the nicest like individual oh good well here's here's another version of it as well really lovely aren't they okay and good to support that that family business too okay so the next one we have got somewhere is oh yes the supermarket offerings waitress look at this one i think this one's really sweet it's a little chocolate spring lemon from waitrose that is two pounds forty it's reduced at the moment was three pounds you can buy that in store it's white chocolate flavored with zesty lemon and all waitress easter eggs are made using fair trade sauce cocoa so that's really good okay now brace yourself strap yourselves down because here comes the little ultimate fruit and nut extra thick easter egg check it out three different layers you've got here the outer layer is a cream tiramisu milk chocolate inside that is a black forest gato layer and then that's got sour cherries in it and in the middle as if you hadn't had enough is smooth and silk panna cotta flavored white chocolate and it's still in the box work my way in i suppose there we go and that's now lovely it's actually very nice chocolate yeah yeah and only 9.99 from little i think that one's a really good value actually okay the next one look at this one this is from aldi this is the specially selected exquisite blonde hey i thought i was the explicit exquisite blonde around here beehive egg 1499 from aldi includes fine honeycomb pieces bee pollen decorated with stunning milk chocolate and honey caramel filled bees and one of them that's my favorite i love a caramac honestly if i could bath in caramack i'd never get out um and last frankly oh yum that one's so good sorry that was 14.99 from aldi that one last m s you're a bit cheeky this year aren't you m s being voted the best vegan egg by lots of different company check out their eggplant kitchen egg that is a vegan egg it's an overshoot velvety smooth dairy-free dark chocolate and tastes truly delicious yes exactly it's not an eggplant it's an aubergine i'm sorry m s but we are british and that is an aubergine you need to buy that with a little bit an emoji is something entirely different thank you alice thank you very much it really is
