Best Bits of the Week: Phil and Holly Get the Giggles AGAIN! | This Morning

[Music] lovely here i go i'm going to choose a really good one for you here we go it is watching the telly best bit for a um best bit for a monday well we've we came off there what about a minute ago new swimming's on the telly now and we're sitting here having lunch with a massive great plate of pork there's pork there there's pork there's pork there's pork there james martin's brought so so much cider champagne it is amazing i got so excited when we do this and literally when we come off i asked the guys what they what they want uh to have for the following week and when you said real sport how to get really good crackling then i was straight on the phone to this amazing farmer and and they kindly brought it down he brought it down who's the farmer uh it's a little oak park and a little old farm and they're amazing there's red hill farm as well that i use as well but they're pigs are my thing so i was brought up on a pig farm this is my thing well it's incredible netcrackling is phenomenal just unbelievable thank you if this this cooking slot ends now for me i'm i'm happy now um is there anything else that you'd like to cook uh i think well i don't know you can do whatever you want but roast beef and york's pudding would be nice i'd love to do a ribbon beef or or something like that or a beef wellington big one it's really nice but it's quite cheap next week yeah but the the director gives me usually on this show it gives me about eight minutes and then i had about five to make this and then i get people moaning that's not true i apparently had eight minutes yeah we did we did spin to win as fast as we possibly was harry and megan's fault i do apologize i had five minutes for my lemon drizzle that's about yeah that was a bit tight sorry yeah that was a bit tight but this is amazing that's all right thank you thank delish eight minutes sorry wait till next week well best bit for today we got quite excited today sorry about the bread on the floor that's what clowder threw that she up she threw bread i mean she'd think i was a duck well today was the day uh well not today monday was the day that we were allowed to go sit in a picnic it's in a park in a park have a picnic on a bench with a friend i mean you don't have to just do you have to sit on a bench i mean the thing was there was a lot made about the fact that you can go to a park and you can sit on a bench with a coffee and then you know me and there's a break the rules what what happens if you get off the bench and sit on the grass no you could sit on the ground you can sit on the ground you could sit on the grass you could do anything you like outside that's not funny that's not true is it you can't sit on a bench it's safer if you just stick to being completely lit and eat one of these because it was delicious parch bench bench park bench bread that is so gigantic you don't actually need to see anyway just sit on that on that it's in it's enormous but do take your can of gin and tonic with you best bit for today i think it's always lovely at spring because you know that there's going to be lambs around phil phil we're that little phil little phil he was the sweetest love he had little black circles on his knees and on his eyes and on his nose but he was so well behaved and he's now a pet so uh so the mummy had how many four they can only have two because they've only got two teeth yes what's that sound funny what i mean we have two teeth yes they can only feed two yes why do they just take it in turns if there's more than two well that but that some do have more but they but they only have two yeah and then they have to take them away and look after them one of them so phil's a pet why didn't they just form an orderly queue take their time that's the difference between lambs and female people sometimes even people find it hard to form an orderly queue this is true even tougher if you're a baby lad a little lamb i like that lamb well what if that lamb is a little pet have you noticed our lovely new cushions on the sofa can you spot them there it is well these were knitted by judith hutchins who we spoke to back in january during our phone-in judith spoke to us about how she was struggling during lockdown so let's remind ourselves of her call i found sitting around in lockdown on my own it's really can be really depressing but i suddenly took up knitting again after many many years and i'm turning them out like nobody's business judy could can you knit cushion covers i haven't done cushion covers of course i could do something well could you could you do um two three three cushion covers and then we can put them on the set for a bit and then when you go on etsy or or or work with anyone else you can say as seen on tv oh clever sweet well jude has stayed true to her word and and here they are look at this beautiful one here and you've got yours i love the my lovely green one here good color match that very nice color match i'm uh i'm liking this very much judith said in her letter uh that the heart-shaped one is to remember the nhs who we are obviously so grateful for well thank you i love you they've absolutely brightened up our studio really lovely yeah thank you best bit for a thursday and uh and you got the giggles we've just attempted to to pre-record a promo and and that's taken us ten attempts we've given up on it because we can't stop laughing god what started it i don't know i don't know it's that thing when you're not allowed to laugh that suddenly everything is really really funny and i'm just having that moment right now what we're going to pick is our best bit well the reason we're doing best bits now is because we've had to delay recording the promo because nine of us could do it so we're just doing this so what what my best fit what do you want let's see what's your best bit it's uh jim carson talking about carter oh my god guys it's thursday it's the end of my week it's been a long week please forgive me jim now i don't know which one is jim carter who plays carson in downton abbey yes came on to reveal really exciting news that there is a new downton abbey movie look at me really trying to pull this together now guys there's a new dad staffing movie he was talking about his wife and melda and the doing the crown and she was going to be the queen and his daughter is in bed who's in bridgeton there was a new baby in the family but what was the most exciting the most incredible thing that he said and you think what's going on in jim carter and melda staunton's house what were they doing just before the show flipping the mattress [Music] oh my god uh we've had an exciting morning ourselves we've turned our mattress this morning you know um i'm just going to say something if i may very quickly following up on the the real estate thing with the the toy car for the cigar rooms um as much excitement in this house because i'm waiting to hear news of my niece having her first baby today it's due today she's in hospital so i'm waiting for lucy so good luck lucia have your baby and hope all as well good luck well let us know to him what on happened
