what's up everyone why are you going today I'm going to be taking a look at oh this is this is going to be a there's gonna be one of my favorite videos we're going to be taking a look at some of my most rare expensive or generally just interesting cards I've got a top 10 list of stuff that I have here it is going to follow a general order and a lot of my cards are actually away in storage or I can't find them so that's that but just before we get into the video a word from our sponsors leafyishere is still my background if you guys are collectors you're gonna [ __ ] love this schnapps is an app on iOS and Android that allows collectors of all sorts to share and catalog their items it's like Instagram but with communities full of collectors there's niche communities from shoes to old game consoles you can keep your collection tidy by organizing your items on shelves you can comment on other people's goods and follow other people's profiles or shelves and get involved with community groups I've made my own group specifically for pokemon cards that like you guys to suckle on and I hope we can get a more active community going than some of the other ones on here get the snupps app and search max mofo pokemon follow the group get involved and let's start milking each other also my username is just max mofo if you want to follow that as well this is without a doubt my favorite thing I have ever done sponsored content for and that's because I actually I [ __ ] love the product welcome everybody to schnapps hold on everyone let's just see if I can get a quick evolutions pull here just before we got into it [ __ ] [ __ ] I honestly absolutely love the app and I would be insanely mad to not do a sponsored video for something that I would genuinely want to use anyway so please swing by let's be fout this group and please share me your cards that you've got risk Oh Oh baby that's going on snaps you see guys you get oh my god no that was like muscle memory to just toss it so you get a nice pull you take a photo of it you can add its general rarity you can select what shelf you want to put it on you can add a description you can add a title and then you can just press done and that's it so how about it guys get snupps search max mode [ __ ] pokemon my name on the actual app I think is max mofo that's the [ __ ] rare wait no it's not that's uncommon my name is just max mofo flat but if you could if you just search max my phone I'm just rambling I don't know what to say I'm how how am I getting luck with evolutions all of a sudden all right let's do this okay my crop turn cogs now there's quite a few nice cars that are in this binder that have managed to pick up through my trips of Japan but today number 10 for whatever reason we're starting with this G be lugia now this card in particular part of the GB 2 promo set this came out with a handful of others as promotion for the Game Boy games in Japan you can see the little GB symbol there in the corner I used to love playing the Pokemon card trading game on Gameboy this this one is part of GB 2 which was this set to promote the second Game Boy game for the the trading card game which was never released outside of Japan I have a few other GB cards here but I think lugia is the most expensive one that I have nowadays probably fetching somewhat upwards of $50 Australian on eBay I managed to pick this little sucker up for a pretty low price of 2200 yen which at the time with the money conversions was around 22 Australian dollars couple years back now number 9 and as we move into number 9 I just want to say a lot of these cards are going to reference eBay prices of course at the absolute top of the spectrum and we are most likely going to be talking about mint or near mint cards we just like to mention that because I always have some [ __ ] guy in the comments that's like linking me to some website that's selling that particular card whether the quality clearly says like played or moderately played however all that being said a good rule of thumb would be to just not use this [ __ ] video as any kind of valuation for your cards number nines here we have another lugia can you tell I like Lou here or a some might say Lou Lou Gia actually that's the wrong card yes if we're gonna do lugia twice in a row here is the real entry for number nine lugia e^x now most of the cards on this list that I am going to go through are mostly Near Mint or mint but this one is definitely an exception my version here is horrendous but a Near Mint one on troll and toad even just a while back they usually sell a lightly played on Near Mint one for about a hundred Australian dollars so it is quite a nice card will gear from unseen forces but there is a main reason that I wanted to include this card is because I just wanted to talk about this little tidbit of information that pisses me off and what pisses me off is when people say World Championship versions of this card or cards like it like this mu for instance this also has a World Championship version now I'm just going to explain what a World Championship version of a card is World Championship cards are obtained by [ __ ] [ __ ] World Championship cards are obtained by buying a World Championship deck now that may sound a lot cooler than it actually is actually he [ __ ] up World Championship decks are purchasable non tournament legal Prince of the decks that we used by world champion players all 60 cards of a reprinted World Championship deck the every cuddle always has this little signature print right and that's that's a signature of the world champions as a print of the world champions signature on the card on every card in the deck it's always in silver and the backs of the are also very obvious a fun only worlds reprint deck they make it obvious but anyway some people take these individual cards out of the decks when they buy them for cheap they're just cheap versions of originally very expensive or sought-after cards at the time and these versions that they get there weren't [ __ ] nothing okay they're worth nothing and they saw them online while trying to disclose as [ __ ] all information information as they can in hopes they can trick people into buying them who think they're getting the actual [ __ ] original card and a bargain price but they're not they're getting they're getting a world champions shitty deck reprint I hate it I always see them and they always have like WC so they can just have as less information as possible like oh it's a WC version okay I better get on with this I better get to number eight number eight golden zip from a very cool card I had to include it because I just love that they've done something like this I really do like this just all gold print even though a lot of people think is very ugly I think you could buy a lightly played or Near Mint one of these on troll and toad for about 63 Australian dollars last few on Australian eBay have sold between maybe 70 and $100 yeah it's a very cool textured card it's a secret number 115 of 113 from legendary treasures and the only other secret in this set is actually the other one which is the full Gold Rush Ram very cool card I like it number seven is that director shining Charizard I mean jeredy quickening Gyarados oh my gosh now this version is around the time where you could get first editions on English cards but this version that I have here is of course just the normal unlimited run it's from neo revelations which in Japan was actually true and this set neo revelations was actually the first set to start doing shining Pokemon which is just like in the games an alternative color of course everyone knows red Gyarados the shiny version of Gyarados but there's a shining pokemon one of the new sets that actually bought back these shining pokemon I was opening and I got a few of them and there it was in Japanese so it didn't actually say shining Pokemon but they were shining Pokemon so many people were in the comments calling me an idiot saying why is he saying shining it is shiny pokemon this guys are [ __ ] [ __ ] up and die yeah all the way back in 2000 or 2001 whenever this set was and this set actually only had two shining pokemon you can see this one is number 65 of 64 the other being golden Magikarp or shining Magikarp which actually I think I have right here hold on there you go guys that's the that's the Japanese version you can see also the rarity in Japan they've got three stars to let you know this [ __ ] is good I think in Japan as well shining Pokemon when they're released that were thought to be maybe one in 300 booster packs was supposedly the right in in Japan but the price of Shining Gyarados for this one may be unlimited version probably get it on eBay for around 50 Australian dollars nothing too crazy but it does lead us into number 6 would you look at that it's gets shining Gyarados again except this time the shiny Gyarados is not called shining Gyarados it's called Gyarados gold star there's a lot of people like to call Gyarados star and then behind that I've got a few other star Pokemon this is what they started doing instead of calling them shining Pokemon so this was the shiny slash alternate form of Pokemon making a return last seen before here during the brief appearance in the Neo series so I only have a few of these I think I have a couple more somewhere but these are the ones I could find around these two beauties from 2005 and Gyarados from Delta species there which is why his fire-type instead of water a bit of a crease on this one he's from 2006 and that none of these were actually printed with the the secret formula and I think by far the most expensive and the one that actually takes this slot for this that I have personally is Flareon star and my god he is a beauty look at him does say here that you can't have more than one Pokemon star in your deck so there were somewhat powerful cards and he is from 2007 he's number 100 of 108 and the all the eeveelutions were the ones of the the stars which were by far the most popular and most expensive I think it's also the only one I have doubles off so I have two flareon gold stars or flareon stars there also don't mistake a lot of the scratching or grit on the card it's actually most of its on the case but yeah very cool a shiny Flareon and if you have a really really mint Flareon I think there's a recent auction on eBay that's fetched a price as high as 235 Australian usually less perfect perfect cards you probably going to get around 60 to 100 Australian so many different variables and a lot of the time because all these cards there's not just tons of them out there there's not a lot of options prices can just depend on how much money the buyer is willing to spend so you will see some going for a lot higher than they should just because the stock is so limited and they can ask that price and someone may buy it alright moving on number five is Mario Mario I thought we're doing pokemon mario Pikachu what the [ __ ] kind of a collaboration was this and awesome one is the answer to that an incredibly cool collaboration between pokemon and mario and of course just behind this with no just behind this there we go is that the full art version this is incredible he got he's got his little fat gut there got his overalls on he's got his little glove just resting on the nub I had to put this in its it this is just right I kind not believe this was a thing isn't it so weird to see this clash of riding on an official product it's like a devianart fanfiction come true sonichu is still pending but I did actually open this up on this channel and there is the Luigi box there you get a whole lot of goodies in those boxes and since then the prices have gone up quite substantially so that's a little we G box if you go on eBay there is someone who's selling a [ __ ] ton of them you can buy the Mario and Luigi box together for a 302 Australian and they've sold quite a lot and then the actual just of Mario Pikachu full art you can buy for between sixty and eighty Australian and for some reason sometimes as high as a hundred and thirty and I think that's just because some people don't want all the extra stuff in the box they don't want to pay that a little bit extra so they're willing to pay still a lot but just to get this one card number for this one is quite hard to value a lot of people do collect them but I'd probably never sell it and just before I do reveal it I will reveal some which are in the same category and that is miss cut cards era cards or factory printing era cards this one is this was the first one I ever pulled that had an actual problem with it so visibly when I pulled it I think I did it in a very very old video but the ink has had just gone to [ __ ] [ __ ] and I think from this set there was a lot of people that had a lot of stuff that was coming out like this but very very weird just a lot of running blue ink the next one is finally we can show him it's a right shoe from I think er the base set as the Japanese version I got this for about fifteen dollars fifteen hundred yen which was fifteen dollars Australian a few years ago and I'll give you a few seconds to figure out what is the error this one I'll give you a clue it's missing something that's right it's missing no it's at well kind of it's it's well it's got the num it's got the number it's missing the symbol is it there's no star there let's take this lugia you see you know it's got the star in the corner which share determines the rarity and this one is indeed missing the rarity and it's not it's not a promo or anything and we've got this other one which is exactly the same about this one for about six bucks this is Alakazam and in the same the card is a little bit damaged and in the same way missing the star very cool cards to have I like having error cards but by far the coolest one that I personally like the most is this who's also missing his rarity symbol but not in the anyway it's because he's at the top cut off well the bottoms cut off it's been pushed down it has not been aligned correctly on the belts when it's being cut and this does happen from time to time but the reason I like it the most is because it's clearly been at the top of the giant sheet or the bottom or wherever this um this array of colors sits on a printing sheet and it's just it's I thought it was so cool when I managed to get it because it's also Charizard a fan favorite Pokemon misaligned and cut with a very cool defect and they have it alright moving on here's some other charizard charizard lovers this is quite a sought-after card and then of course you've got the base set Charizard there but here is number three and before we get to it here are some honorable mentions you've guessed it it's a hyper rare that we're gonna be taking a look at I thought we should throw in a more recent card and what Pokemon has been doing lately with hyper Aires has been great I've really enjoyed it I absolutely adore when companies throw in you know really uber hard-to-get cards so this was a nice addition hyper rare cards also known as rainbow rares they are of course secrets as well and they exist outside of the general set so they're one hundred and forty seven hundred and forty-seven cards in the set and this one is a hundred and fifty eight so a lot of Secrets in these sets as well which is also nice but they're yeah they're very textured if you could feel it so a blind person can freak out over it as well but without a doubt without an absolute [ __ ] doubt the most sought-after and best hyper rare car there is that everyone wants to get their hands on is again the fan favorite Charizard and that is not a gaping hole in the middle that's actually on the plastic which is on the outside so don't worry about that every defect you see is on the outside this card is quite [ __ ] mint I would be surprised if there's got anything less than PSA nine if I did send it in however a lot of thumb grading is determined by card and border alignment which is out of your control and if you don't know when you send a card in to get graded it can get graded the most common is psi and they'll grade it from one to ten which lets you know how valuable the card is I mean it lets you know how quality the card is which in turn allows you to sell it for a lot more if you get a PSI ten damn you be happy my friend Jewish rob actually was telling me he's trying to collect a future of these specific ones saying if you get these psi and get ten there's charizard exas will be going up a lot in the future okay next up guys number two and this was this was a hard one because this is this is almost one of my favorites there is two cards here they are in the same category let me reveal to you first porygon electric soldier porygon this is actually pokemon club porygon i got this this little beauty for a whopping fifteen thousand yen how much that is at the moment with the conversion rate is on screen right now Australian and here is the other one which as you guessed is also a club card but just before I do go to that club porygon was only available through the pokémon fan club from April 2002 the end of December 2002 in order for players to get their hands on one they had to tally a total of 700 get points and for 200 let's get points you could get yourself this one club evey which at the moment is actually worth more than the porygon at the time if you're if you were just going on get points whatever the [ __ ] that was through the pokémon fan club he was slightly cheaper but I loved him look at him he's winking he's got these little local blue red and yellow eeveelution silhouettes he sent me back at the time 20,000 yen which was at the time about 200 Australian dollars nowadays it's very hard to find these sorts of cards and as I was saying a lot of these cards it's hard to find them so the prices vary so greatly but these club cards very hard to find especially ones that aren't graded at the moment there's only two non-graded ones that are sitting on ebay that both over 500 Australian each I'm happy I was able to get mine for 20 be a very very cool card but that brings our skies to the number one spot and that spot goes to none other than Crystal Charizard this card is [ __ ] good condition boys this is one of my favorite cards picked up personally in Japan look at that [ __ ] that is pack fresh I'm being very delicate with it I bought this for 20,000 yen at the time which the moment is about 200 Australian he is first edition he's number 89 of 88 he is oh look at him what a beauty I think the the English ones of Crystal Charizard do go for a little bit more because of the the holo rarity for cards in general in most of Japan packs I think at this time at least but there you go guys there you have a crystal Charizard released in the Japanese set mysterious mountains I think in 2002 which was later fused together with split earth to make it the English full set sky Ridge which is a very very nice set that a lot of people seek cards from via these are quite hard to find as mint as this one is without being graded already again very very very difficult to give it proper value or anything and there's probably gonna be a lot of debate in the comments but I'd probably give it maybe around about value of it see it's too odd might be like 350 Australian it may be like a reasonable price that someone would pay but that brings us to the end of my top 10 most rare or valuable or just favorite cards in general I probably will have a lot more lists that will be specific to certain categories when I could find a lot more of my other cards which are in storage I do have a shining right to first edition PSA 10 which I got for a couple of hundred quite a few years ago now which does sell for a lot more I'm not sure where that is I try to keep my PSA cards mainly out of this this has just been a lot of different tidbits of information and cards that I'd like to think a call but with that being said I would like to give this card a special mention I just love it I love how cool this card looks this is was for the 20th anniversary if you did attend this in Japan at two different the two different locations that they were at you got given this card this card has gone up in value quite a lot since then and this is a nice gem mint PSA 10 graded version a lot of promotional cards are very easy to get that Jim gem antenna but yeah thank you so much guys for watching please head over to snupps and check out my group and join me and [ __ ] there I know it's hard for a lot of people to think I'm being genuine when I'm doing a sponsored video but this is by far the most genuine sponsored segment for an app or a product I really want to build their community on snaps and please snaps if you do like any of the traction that you do get from this video I would like to do more business because I would love to do sponsored [ __ ] and continue to build a community there because it's something that I would like to use anyway I please feel free click any videos Australian I don't see you guys in a following video [ __ ] how this one took longer than I thought
