My Hardest PSN Platinum Trophy Yet? Cuphead PS4 Trophy Challenge

oh my gosh in all likelihood this is probably going to be one of the most difficult platinum trophies i ever go for [Music] let's start cuphead um i'm sure this will be a multi-day thing and i'm probably gonna be pretty rusty initially because uh last time i played it was technically last year me and uh my friend tyrell did like a co-op run but before that was was launch which was september 2017 for this game i think so it has been a while be very rusty for starting this and uh yeah the trophies are unforgiving here right you're gonna have to do a pacifist run on the six run and gun levels or five run and gun levels all the coins um [Music] a rank on a normal play through for all the for all the uh levels not an s rank for everything on expert mode that would be insane but i think you have to do at least one level for that [Music] that's gotta be an a [Music] there we go one down many more to go there we go got that one done i forgot how to even fight this thing uh yep like that i'm all i'm happy and cheery now remember it's aisle one day one i'm happy to be playing this game [Music] ah that might have cost me i think them i'm hoping that's an a-minus if my time is good yeah we're good yeah i don't remember this fight this is going to be a lot of trial and error [Music] i hate the slot machine [Music] all right and acm here's [Music] i don't feel too good about that one i did get a trophy but i think that's like a b plus probably all right we'll do threatened zeppelin oh i didn't carry ah that would have been a quick one that star that star was right there did you see that that was just about to hit me all right we'll do a do a run and gun here i might be able to buy some more stuff i don't like this one [Music] go get some more stuff he was about to change extreme pollination and total domination best thing about cagney carnation next time you go to one of those uh hand dryers where it goes downward you know what i'm talking about get one of know right away perfect run too oh yeah i didn't take any damage i really hope the ac isn't too loud but for the amount of footage i'm gonna record normally i just keep the ac off during the summer when i have to film a video but this is just too much footage [Music] oh my god this map will get red hot and begin [Music] that one i i didn't did it like four or five tries but beppy i put in a people think this is one of the hardest bosses i wasn't even close [Music] got it that's gotta be it a day at the fair oh no oh no oh oh b-plus or just a b it's even worse [Music] oh that was it that was it that was it oh yeah i got it boss porcelain power too [Music] april i spent way too much time on rumor honey bottom the first time i played this game i can't stop doing that why did she make that noise then why does this guy go [Music] oh my god that i think that's what i think that's it all right it's day two i think i'm going to try and do a separate audio source while the ac is running because that was too loud i apologize for that but uh you know we're gonna see what we can do here and we're just trying to chill not gonna be easy with cuphead but uh i think we'll make it happen thank you ray narvaez jr trophies and chill let's do it don't think i had all the parries on that i only did two all right that should be it try another a minus it's all i can muster out of these things is a minus so that's all i can get out of this game okay um got another run and gun here do that get some get get five coins out of this assuming it doesn't take this long assuming it doesn't to go through there we go all right yes she's not too bad let's do all the coins right now before we jump into doctor calls robot and what's her name calla something i don't remember [Music] wow oh hey copper's full got it [Music] okay all right all right all right i remember this it sucks it sucks it sucks and you have to do it for like an hour it's like not even about aiming it's about just survive and you'll and bullets will hit him eventually that's like an hour you have to do that it feels like an hour knockout knockout knockout knockout cala maria always makes me feel some type of way [Music] same way that i felt when i watched uh holy coulee for the first time [Music] knockout yeah i just called it i just said it jazz hands let's do the pumpkins are the worst the worst part of this level not even the bosses it's just these these things that keep showing up every like the second one's gone look at that one showed up while the other one was already on screen i think we got it [Music] i think we got it where's my trophy boom a trip downtown and then mayor we got it at least a's on all the aisles so we're getting ready to go into the final stage but we're ready to go and now we can collect all the coins so let's do that and get that trophy real quick supposed to be one like right here there we go got that one there we go got it what's the guy that's happy i made all the bridges yeah sweet got it there you go got that one hi roller we're knocking out trophies the twin heart oh yeah i probably should have bought that for some of those running gun levels maybe i should have done that for the run and gun levels whatever we got it now butter and eggman it's a bit complicated for this this boss here because it's it's this setup so if you've never played cuphead before we can actually fight king dice we have to um do this right i just rolled a two now we're gonna go into boss number two that and uh well we'll definitely have to get very comfortable with this entire sequence because there's a trophy for beating this entire sequence and beating king dice with uh without losing any without getting hit once although it's slightly misleading because if you saw on the board there are some hearts that you land on and if you land on a boss with a heart you actually gain one life watch me land on start over i haven't hit one heart through the whole thing either oh no here we go watch me die in one second [Music] now we need two or three just not one just not one oh i did it why did i do it okay here we go chance of the trophy i can only get hit once though [Music] okay i'll trophy over it's over that was weird he just didn't have any more cards i didn't know he like ran out that should have like he he totally should have started with his card thing well i mean i was going to be back here anyway so it's not a huge deal oh i got the double [Music] oh i did it with three hp oh [Music] okay been a long day but we're back ready to ready to finish this had a good amount of practice last night so hopefully this won't take too long now we can get into the into some of the fun stuff it hasn't even been fun yet then we'll get into our expert playthrough he's got all these moves there's like a very small window of opportunity when he does the arm thing to actually like dodge the okay all right he's his purple buddies on the side there just won't stop showing up they always gotta run across all happily every five seconds why did i like jump into that no no no no no no no no last phase i don't think i got i don't think i got two perry okay well we're done i was gonna say i don't think i got three perry's off but you did it i think hey soul saved that's a gold right there because i have three hp got it there we go a's on everything although now we get to start passive the pacifist trophy which is the run and gun levels without hitting any enemies or shooting any enemies look at that a plus on the oh my god look at that my best performance so so far so now we're gonna earn a trophy right here where we have to actually accept the devil's deal oh but i see you've got my soul contracts hand them over yes and there you go and there you go selling out it's a secret bronze actually let's let's do a let's knock out a few trophies here uh defeat a boss using only the mini plane bullets there it is that took a while all right yeah those bullets do not do anything and let's try all the run and guns without hurting anybody [Music] yeah this is gonna take a while it's gonna it's gonna take a while [Music] okay well we got a problem here how do you get over them [Music] nailed it this one's gonna be tough just cause like [Music] there's just so much [Music] there we go now oh boy i sure did have fun on this one [Music] got it this is the one where it's like up and down i didn't think about it when i went through it the first time but this is gonna be a pain to do without shooting anybody [Music] that's all right we did it okay um yeah this this one's gonna be [Music] lame [Music] all right oh we're looking so clean right now we have a lot of room for beautiful beautiful mistakes like that that's all right that's all right room for mistakes hello darkness you'd think i'm an expert at it at this point but i was also an expert at killing everything [Music] oh my how am i doing this and the level please oh oh how did i do that let's go all the way back to aisle one to start our journey worst thing about this is that i would definitely be moved on to the next boss if it weren't for the fact that i needed at least one s rank okay i keep messing up this first part [Music] there we go wow that took forever there yeah we got it we got the s rank put on a show [Music] oh almost it's you know it's it's really liberating knowing that i can just i don't have to think about anything however i beat them i beat them right any wins a win in this regard wow this is long how far did i get that time that's a long time to fight that moon oh [Music] that was like the longest fight i've ever done so far oh my gosh yeah one more was gonna do it oh i got this i got this except these ones i don't like this one yeah knockout all right i didn't want to get too confident every time i say i got this this game swiftly says no first try first try yeah cagney's not not bad roundabout makes it really easy not bad for my first go-around so i think we're okay jeez i do what was happening [Music] there we go got him all right for my first try that was pretty good oh two heads come out wow i was close without even using a super [Music] got her that was a really sloppy run but it don't matter i don't like this [Music] there's like nowhere to go with like half more than half of this stuff well as it turns out jimmy the great really is that great because he gave me a proper beating yesterday but see if we can finish this game today [Music] okay got him got him all right okay it's it's not fun when it's reversed [Music] that last part's gonna be so it's gonna be bad oh i know i know i should use the super i know i know i just i wanted to get to the top cloud [Music] oh oh my god i got it three hp sometimes you just know this one's so tough dude this might be one of the toughest ones in the whole game which is so weird because it's like just a random pile to boss like that's not even too bad but i just keep hitting feathers no no it's not going to happen it's just too much stuff i get nervous right away [Music] getting close man i'm getting so close if i could just survive a little bit better on that the baby stage [Music] got him yes wow that one is so oh that's that's up there had to look up a few strategies for that one hello darkness my old friend you can't feel good about it right i can't i can't feel good about this but let's do it oh the thing is i've played this so many times this is probably what i spent the most time on for any given boss [Music] oh my god wow wow that was my first try to show how many times i've played it and it doesn't seem like there's any discernible difference got her that fourth try i could not be more proud of myself didn't think it was gonna happen how far did i get first try pretty far so i'm okay with it oh wow i don't know how i managed that i feel like this is a compilation of me just being so relieved what you could close your eyes could totally be taken out of context or perhaps in context [Music] out knockout you go [Music] knock out i got that loud ac on again i'm sorry it's hot that's gonna be an eternity oh it's gonna take so long [Music] oh i got fire wow went right into a i'm still only halfway there [Music] getting closer [Music] oh my god [Music] i got it i got it this doesn't seem all that different from the main one so if that's the case then it just might be longer because of his health come on [Music] wow that was like way faster than the other like four times that i failed well what was the difference here [Music] [Music] ah [Music] [Music] [Music] yes wow oh man i can't believe i did it so what's changed here doesn't look like much has changed which excites me oh and i got there with one like the whole time this is gonna happen this is gonna happen it's gonna happen i just have to not lose 4 hp on this first phase [Music] come on yes that's it beat the devil at his own game and then platinum wow there it is people what to say what to say well i definitely want to save that super though right there but boy oh boy this is going to be up there for me i don't know i don't know i still consider gta 4 one of my toughest um resistance two but that just took a long time it wasn't really difficult look at that guy look at him that's that's a little bit of me in there i can feel it i can see it melissa we did it yeah we did
