My Hardest DLC PSN Trophies? - Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course Challenge.

that is going to be so hard to deal with i'm making a lot of mistakes [Music] that sucks because i know i'm close [Music] finally the cuphead dlc the delicious last course is out it's been a long time coming but it's finally here and uh of course this means two things one uh hopefully we'll finally get a physical edition of this game because i want it on on disk so bad i'll buy it on disk cart wherever and it also means as is often the case with most other games that you trophy hunt your clean crispy and beautiful 100 percent goes away um but that's fine that doesn't bother me because normally when i trophy hunt games it's always games that i love and enjoy and so cuphead is no different i just got an email about my purchase uh but the um obviously we did a video on the the platinum already and uh you know it was a bit of a struggle for me but i i got there and so now i have to get my 83 back to 100 so let's go ahead and do that oh god good to be back [Music] so how does this how does this go i didn't look up much the legendary chalice has an urgent message for you find me on the coast cups okay all right there that takes us to aisle four yeah i didn't look at like any of the coverage i only looked at the like the first trailer they put out and then i think the second one uh didn't watch any press footage so i'm actually going into this fairly blind and that's how i want to go about that's how i want to do this so let's check it out [Music] so that's what it is i gotta find ingredients to get miss chalice back alive cookie charm in the menu if you want to battle as miss chalice okay so she's she's her own charm now two new ones gain access to her double jump dash parry and invincible roll [Music] thank you this is gonna be so bad [Music] i'm gonna be here a while [Music] and we all knew that was gonna that was that was about it this dance is over there's no excuse you couldn't handle the giggle juice i love those but in all seriousness i knew that i knew i was going to die right away gotta watch out when he's holding that caterpillar or whatever oh that that thing will not go away until you get rid of it it's always if he sends out this caterpillar i have a really bad time there's no way once he gets the caterpillar out i'm done dude every time that caterpillar guaranteed damage second that caterpillar comes out oh yup hey might even take two this time yep he did no i lost yep that thing sure does take a lot of damage before it goes away [Music] busting this guy out already huh look at it just it just stays it doesn't leave until you deal with it oh he'll just bring out a second one if you don't take out the first one two caterpillars are they out of their minds i just want to see the final fate oh really we got to get this guy going right off the bat right off the jump i used to think caterpillars were cool i i really don't anymore yep there we go there goes there's no way i was getting out of here without without that caterpillar taking one all this caterpillar he just knows where i'm going every every day [Applause] he's always two steps ahead of me [Music] oh my lord how did i avoid the pillar of death i didn't [Music] [Music] i did it alive and kicking that's the first one defeated boss with miss chalice oh man that death the third phase moves quicker than i thought once you have it figured out [Music] i didn't do any parrying on that one don't know if there's anything for grades yet so not worried about it just yet oh they had the dough okay high noon hoopla let's see him a brawl is truly brutal [Music] okay a lot going on here [Music] let's be frank's here i'm your worst nightmare shut up [Music] all right that one wasn't too bad crazy what the difference is that spider took me like an hour that was that was like my fourth attempt i think fourth fifth the fourth fifth attempt [Music] i guess this guy had the meat right had to have meat desert limes okay so what was up here the king's leap is this like a running gun are there there's a new running gun excuse me new running guns in here who's this thank you wait the king of games yugimoto [Music] that's pretty simple [Music] albeit maybe there's a trophy to do it differently i don't know [Music] i'll do that later let me know what it is [Music] defeat a boss with one of pork rinds new weapons [Music] defeat all the kings games champions that's what i was just doing every boss defeat a boss with one of miss chalice's super arts [Music] obtain an a rank or higher on all bosses i gotta go back to that spider defeat a boss i ain't qualified [Music] without killing any of its minions interesting gnome way out this was in the trailers so i've seen this thing doesn't mean i know how to fight it though [Music] i think i should actually go get a new weapon and try that out now i don't know if i want average damage straight shot with good damage breaks into smaller aimed projectiles [Music] give it a shot okay see what we got going on here let me just jump into that and grab some damage real quick so that phase felt like it went on for what felt like forever [Music] whoa interesting [Music] oh i didn't see that little thing flying across give up now is my suggestion unless you give me indigest indigestion i love the like that's my favorite part is it weird to say that's one of my favorite parts of the game [Music] is the little death rhymes [Music] got it and that would be for the new weapon very cool fortunately i did not keep enough hp on that to get an s rank so that would have been nice to get done out of the way very quickly but we'll get it another time oh i got some gnome berries i guess that would create a bridge if i do that this is the uh what do you call it this this was like one of the first trailers oh boy [Music] all right day two let's see how far we can get on this uh dlc and trophy list [Music] oh this wizard sucks [Music] i feel like phase two and three is not bad but like this wizard sucks [Music] and i i just i get just close enough with that the snow monster i didn't think this one was too bad but you know then you realize you've been doing it so many times and it's bad i'm bad let me rephrase that just for clarity's sake i know i'm the problem here i always thought wizards and spiders were cool i don't think they're cool anymore that sucks because i know i'm close what's even worse is that that was i think that was like close to an a-minus and then i did ryan stuff with oh okay i got that naturally interesting i didn't kill any of the popsicles i am surprised i got that done naturally is that an a thank god i think a minus counts right if i recall correctly so we're like done with that one i think icy sugary cubes that's what's this dog gone dog fight [Music] oh it's a regular i thought i was gonna be on the plane oh i didn't see that [Music] i don't like that face i've decided [Music] okay i can see how this one is also a bit of a pain [Music] whoa oh this is trippy oh that was oh this is gonna suck [Music] oh that's that is gonna trip me up so good i don't know how i'm gonna manage that i can't do stuff like that very well at all [Music] that is going to be so hard to deal with i'm i i can't do stuff like that in games man when the perspective changes that is so hard for me oh no and then cuphead too i don't know what i'm gonna do i'm gonna have to like i'm gonna have to like tilt my head i can't i i got my i lose all motor skills when any sort of rotation happens in a game with that kind of perspective or any rotate any sort of twisted perspective there's just no way [Music] so that's it i knew it i knew it i knew i had it on that one but it's got to be an a right i know i didn't have a whole lot of hp on that but i got my parries my supers my two beautiful stars my neck hurt though we did it that was the last ingredient we needed for the wonder tart let's get back to salt baker lickety split oh he's a whack job you were so cool about this a second ago [Music] taking damage already taking damage already [Music] good lord wow there is so much stuff going on [Music] it's fire caterpillars and fire hydrants there's just like one projectile on the screen on all these bosses that's not like the others and it's simply there to be a nuisance [Music] uh at least i made it to the next phase but like that was totally expected like within one second i take that final hit so i have no clue still how to approach this one [Music] so that's the last phase and you have to parry the heart [Music] i went the wrong direction but i got there again very quickly and that feels good but also not good [Music] ah man that and you know what i'm not even close still so that's gonna take longer than i think it's gonna take [Music] oh my god wow there was still a lot more to go oh my heart was racing [Music] man i just i don't know what i did there i had full hp but i just couldn't none of those opportunities felt good to perry [Music] you um my oh you oh my god why dude that took so many does the special knot deal damage or i'm so confused i really thought that was it oh man that is brutal [Music] maybe i'm dumb and you can just shoot it maybe i don't know i'm kind of assuming you just have to parry it only based on that gauntlet of bosses that were only perry something tells me that was my well that was my gut reaction is that you can't deal normal damage to it uh but i'm starting to think maybe i should at least have the spread going which would be hard to keep up with but or at least hard to like pay attention but um i'll see if it actually does move move the needle forward and if it does then uh at least i know oh my god it's dealing damage i am so dumb i'm super dumb i'm dumb dumb dumb i probably could have got finish this a while ago oh my god i thought you only had a period i died but i don't care because watch i'm gonna be like cloak yeah wow i what can i say like i i already explained my methodology there i've been stuck on salt baker for quite a bit now and i just i don't know that was i i instantly thought like i don't bother shooting because it's only for uh they want you to parry this 100 or whatever but i don't know that was not my finest moment that is now going to be put on youtube because that's what happened i guess it makes sense that he was a completely pink because he's a heart at that point so you just you know he's always like parriable but like he could have just shot him too i guess [Music] oh there it is [Music] complete your quest very cool anti-climactic i know that actually happened a lot faster even with dealing damage or prior to the other ones where i started dealing damage since i still had a few more fails uh all right well oh and a b i still gotta go back and do another a [Music] add insult to injury uh well me and uh salt baker didn't really meet eye to eye obviously [Music] all right day three uh let's see if we can finish up the dlc in one little go here which i have to get a's on the two bosses i missed which are the two problem bosses for me which was salt baker and the spider so let's uh let's get that knocked out [Music] got it all right that's the uh the chalice and was that an s rank oh come on no i didn't get enough perries uh well i got the a but like that was so close to an s all right [Music] time for more punishment you would think i'm a master at this uh boss now but it's not the case the thing is i've still been doing this with only miss chalice and now i'm so conditioned to her play style that i think going back to cuphead or mugman would really trip me up all right a-rank on all the bosses that only took like four or five attempts on this new day okay so we got the a on everything that shouldn't be too bad i'm pretty close on most of these now okay so with all that done i gotta do whatever this was the king's leap it's like a gauntlet of perry-only bosses that led me to think salt baker was perry-only on that last phase got him knockout why do i have the sneaking suspicion that all these like perry bosses i'm doing are going to be lined up and i might have to do that saw that coming oh i was very close knocked out all right got that done too this looks like the ending right steal thyselves cups for this is the final contest that was pretty quick okay so that's all that there's got to be a catch here because i've got a few trophies left uh 10 bosses that's simple s rank defeat the king's gauntlet didn't i just do this oh that's that's got to be all of them right that's got to be like all of them in a row or something oh that's what i said too i said that's got to be a thing all right what are the uh other two there's two in here that are like hidden survive the nightmare oh my god what does that mean this one's point five percent obtained great power all right obtain the broken relic and survive the nightmare so i gotta buy the broken relic which i haven't done just yet i've been avoiding it this whole time all it says is uh okay what can i do with it all right so it turns out we have to go here first and talk to this guy uh i'm stumped that contest of skill that broken artifact this eerie graveyard i've discovered potent astral energy in all these places rust being ordered method to it and so i guess i got to talk to the um the the podium people over here and see what order i have to hit this in [Music] oh there we go all right i took a few tries and what is this take a little nap i i don't know about that but i suppose i will [Music] oh god how how long is this going to take this match oh boy [Music] all right it's this isn't too bad [Music] i almost died there but i got it survived the nightmare yeah that was pretty simple we're gonna last i've seen writing that says it despises bravery with a crea with a greater foe more evil shall go what could it mean okay so that's where i have to beat a bunch of bosses with the cursed relic attached so now let's go do that [Music] i only have one hp and then i just got one back from that parry [Music] did i i'm confused wait do i still have the ch what charm do i have on right now the one where i get hp back but now the the thing i'm holding is cursed so it starts me off with one hp so i guess the whole point is that you have to keep beating bosses to upgrade it [Music] oh my weapon changed [Music] wait hold on oh oh god every time you hit square it changes the weapon oh i don't like this where's my all right i'll take spread i let go of it again all right there we go okay that is weird oh yeah it changed cursed relic it burdens the host all right so i was gonna say like why do you want me to just beat like eight bosses with it okay yeah it's like a debuff or something it just kind of messes with you for a bit that's why you have to beat bosses with it [Music] [Music] oh that's it obtain great power i i did all the bosses or at least eight of them you can do any eight that you want and i've upgraded that uh thing so i guess it's not cursed anymore [Music] oh man that was thankfully i've played the game so much now that i am comfortable with a lot of the bosses but uh starting off with one hp is not fun but you can parry and then you they'll give you one or two hearts back what's so what is it now divine relic okay wondrous talisman that grants a variety of abilities okay so now we only have to do more miss chalice boss fights or do fights with miss chalice but we are at okay that's done so there's only two of them there here we have the 10 fights i probably have like two three more i've been using her a lot uh king's gauntlet s rank i still didn't pull one of those off naturally and this weird one nine hp at one time so let's do them as chalice fights there we go seem like i did more than that but either way we'll take it as crazy as it sounds i think i can get my s-rank on that spider i'm feeling good with it now i can do it please 4hp i did a ton of specials that's gotta be it come on 159 that's it [Music] what what did i do wrong [Music] i forgot you had to play on expert difficulty for an s rank i did really good on regular [Music] i'm making a lot of mistakes [Music] [Music] so [Music] we're gonna take a break on the s rank and try try the gauntlet which this is uh something i'm a bit worried about i'm sure this will take me a long time uh welcome back oh here it is all right it's all lined up and the gauntlet what i want to know is i'm in big trouble if the hp doesn't reset i know my limits i know what i can and can't do so if the hp doesn't reset i don't think i'm going to get my 100 back on cuphead yeah like first one took three heads like if this doesn't go back to four like i don't think there's any chance i'm doing this okay all of a sudden this got a lot better for hp maybe i can do it i'm sure many failures are on the way though [Music] that was pretty good for a first attempt [Music] maybe this won't take as long as i thought [Music] so [Music] oh i did it that's it please give me the trophy when does the trophy come up greatest gift of all a king's admiration thanks oh that's uh that's rough that's kind of like the whole king dice thing in the main game we have to have a bunch of hp speaking of which why don't we uh do that next for the uh having nine hp there's a whole weird thing that we gotta do for this so let's figure it out so we have to equip the i thought it was this but it's not we have to equip the twin heart and then three times for jimmy the great to grant us some a very small amount of extra hp and then do king dice and then earn earn more hp i guess yeah i have nine hp right now it's pretty pretty wacky and it doesn't the trophy doesn't pop so i guess you have to register landing on the one hp right there so [Music] there we go my hp went down to six that's weird dude okay well i guess it's time to go back to the only thing i have been struggling to do so far which is a single s rank it's the last bronze trophy i need [Music] ah [Music] ah there's no words a lot of attempts but i did it on the spider uh bug lady snail it's hard to pay attention what these creatures even are because there's just so much on the screen oh i love this game i love what it does to me awesome dlc definitely took a few years off my life and definitely
