Overdrawn at the Memory Bank is strange. It was part of a series of three sci-fi movies made for public television, along with The Lathe of Heaven and Between Time and Timbuktu (a mashup of a number of Kurt Vonnegut stories). I personally consider Lathe of Heaven to be one of the top ten sci-fi flicks to ever come out of this country, but the other two are just b-movie oddities...
