Good afternoon today I want to perform for you an arrangement that I have made for guitar on the Rondo Alla Turca, also known as the Turkish March by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It is part of his sonata number 11 for piano, specifically the third movement, he composed it around 1784 when he published it, and at that time in the letters he exchanged with his father we can see that he is very melancholic and that he misses his homeland a lot. German because he was Austrian but then at that time Austria was part of Germany and for this reason he is probably inspired to compose this Rondo alla Turca in motifs of another German composer named Glück, specifically in the overture of the opera Los Peregrinos de la Meca, which was also in A, like his sonata, but instead makes those motifs French , he adds those staccato notes that instead of being linked and fluid are short and in this way he manages to like the Parisians and add that festive touch and elegant of the time is not much like Turkish music because for a German Western European this was a kind of reinterpretation of what seemed to him Turkish music at that time and is nothing more than toggle between minor and major mode quickly. I love Mozart, he was a child prodigy in music who was able to play blindfolded, who from a very young age went to concerts and later at home he was able to write the whole concert from memory and even compose on the fly before aristocrats and kings new musical pieces and he is also a very interesting character because he had a characteristic humor and quite strong moral convictions . They say that they even kicked him in the ass from one of his jobs but he revolutionized the world of classical music because even though his music seemed easy and funny for children , it actually had a lot of intrinsic complexity, it collected the influences of all the composers contemporary to him but also contributed a very personal touch to his compositions. You can find the scores and tablatures if you want to learn to play my arrangement for guitar or it can also be a very cool gift for the guitarist of the family on my website paolahermosin.com I leave the links below in the description of this video and I hope that you like it very much. If so, you can subscribe, like, comment and share the youtube link with your friends. Thank you so much for watching
