Good afternoon and welcome to a special video on the 5 most terrifying themes in music. They are songs from horror movies and series and I have made a terrifying fantasy for guitar inspired by these songs, adding many personal touches of the most beautiful techniques of the guitar. I have chosen my five favorite horror themes which are: the first, The X Files (The X Files), a mythical series that narrated in an incredible way the paranormal phenomena and UFO phenomena, 2: Squid Game, The squid game, 3: Tubular Bells, by Mike Oldfield, composed it without thinking of making it horror but then it was taken by the Exorcist movie, a mythical horror movie, 4: the theme of Halloween and 5: the theme of Death Note, one of the most well-known animes of the world that goes about a god of death who loses his notebook and when a human finds it and writes names in it, it causes that person whose name is written in the notebook to die and the music is very much inspired by Tubular Bells although with certain changes and combines that 7 by 8 and very irregular rhythms and since we are on Halloween I wanted to celebrate it with you asking the question of what do you think makes a terrifying music. Well, studying these musics I discovered that there are some elements that they all have in common. Those elements are: rhythms that you do not expect, changes in accents so that the listener is never calm, they also use many dissonances, intervals that are not consonants, that are not pleasant to the ear, they could be second and since the Middle Ages they considered that increased and decreased intervals like this were forbidden and for them it was the Devil in music, the "Diabolus in Musica"; In other words, these pieces use those dissonances, and not only these pieces but also Johann Sebastian Bach, Paganini and many more musicians used these dissonances.
