Minecraft's New Features Are HILARIOUS

Minecraft 1.19.4 is here and with it comes a host of new features including some simple stuff like recoloring the potions interacting with armor or elytra will now replace whatever's in that slot this makes quick accessing elytra or armor way easier also you can do this now there's also some cool new stuff like a new world creation screen and some other smaller tweaks also there's some new commands and I'm very excited to try those out as you can see I already have command blocks set up because I've already been messing with this so my plan today is find the funniest or most effective or useful features in Minecraft 1.19.4 so that you guys can use them for future builds and stuff especially this one check this out Minecraft added something called the slash ride command which means I can throw something and now I can ride it the slash ride command allows you to ride pretty much any entity and you can use it on stuff like arrows and projectiles so that's what I did I set up a little repeating command block to make me ride the arrow whenever it's fired and then once it hits the ground it removes the arrow so it smoothly just places me back on the ground same thing with the trident the trend is useful because if I go down here into the water I can actually just throw the Trident back out and it's totally fine it's not affected by the water physics or anything because if I use the arrow it basically just pulls me under yeah please also you can't leave with it it just it just doesn't work it's like really fast too it's pretty effective like arrows are like really quick also there's a side benefit of if you run into a mob you can actually damage them I missed the beat come back here B let's see if I can hit it oh yeah pretty effective pretty neat I like it I don't think I really want to try with the ride command is making another mob ride it alright here we go yeah oh my gosh that's awesome now he's down there in the water now go that way that is far too good that's so funny yeah yeah this is a great mechanic okay so I did another thing if the Trident lands it should summon lightning let's see what happens it definitely didn't it definitely didn't work okay that's actually pretty cool every time it lands it just explodes and turns into that so now the ravager should ride the Trident and when it lands it should hit the ground it's spawn lightning so now he's on fire I'll put you out what about this yep oh yeah that's pretty awesome and now the ravager goes away and wherever he lands it's just gonna it's just gonna explode bye-bye buddy have fun in the ocean oh my gosh that's so funny I love just flinging the ravager around that's so funny how about this guy oh it stops IT the Wharton is too beefy oh my gosh I just found an unintentional side effect of this wait if I don't kill the train when it hits the ground it just bounces [Laughter] okay that's that's fantastic that's so funny ah just bounces it just goes and then the warden just like bounces with it so now I have a warden that just bounces up and down on a trident and it's just burrowing into the Earth bye-bye buddy have fun down there so another cool thing they added is that jukeboxes now have a nice little note particle above them like note blocks do and not only that but you can actually use hoppers to place music discs in I think you can also use it to remove them once they're done this song is such a Bop dude I'm such a huge fan thank you for the song you have blessed us okay the music's done so that means that it should yeah it gets pulled out there and then the new music just gets oh whoops gets popped in there that's pretty awesome also these guys are loving it they're having a grand old time this is great this means you can put music discs on repeat in your base and just completely Drew enough for all your friendships you could just ruin them all in the meantime though I'm just gonna remove that so nothing else you can do is you can actually physically apply damage to entities which means death messages like this are possible now I am sorry parrot I did not mean to do this to you I have an idea though what if I named them something all right these Pirates are both named Among Us now let's see what happens oh oh no it's uh they found me I can't believe it I can't go back to jail [Music] thing you want there it'll just show up I love this far too much this is just so funny okay guys we really gotta we really gotta do something about global warming that's so crazy the literal planet earth has got me that time wow that's that's really unfortunate global warming is really taking a toll on our planet [Music] that doesn't know anything I am I am very curious about everything around me what does this button do that voice my voice is too much and then after all of that there's one more really cool thing that uh we haven't tried yet another crazy thing they added is block displays entity displays and item displays they're absolutely wild and you could do stuff like this it's a giant honey the actual like parameters that you have to set up are like pretty complicated and if you don't really know coding in any way they're very difficult to use so I'll go ahead and drop a generator a display entities generator down in the description if you want to try it out mess with it a little bit and see uh See if you can try your hand at it oh oh wait oh there's something wait what what did I do oh no this is not at all what I'm trying to do oh yeah look at that that's cool oh yeah and you can see through Vlogs that's so neat wow that's so cool that's just in the Minecraft world oh that's cool too it just follows whoa what happened this is whoa there is so much customizability with this it's insane oh that's not that's not what I meant to do whoa oh kinda yeah that's kind of what I was looking for that's so wild seeing the text like this kind of like sideways is just very like disorienting that is kind of crazy also you can see it through my head that's that's so strange [Music] oh that's so cool you can even do like a nice little like oh that's so neat oh that's great great too because these just stay here while I replace blocks that's awesome oh yeah it's like just barely in front of them oh that's actually really neat yeah [Music] oh my gosh okay so for these windows I have an idea I want to try to get this to be full of glass but like in the right spot so it's like a glass pane but just one glass plant glass pane glass plane that's the that's the right word this could be really cool I want to try this oh yeah this actually could work perfectly oh wow that's so cool oh my gosh that's awesome look at how practical that is that's awesome sure maybe there's Mixels there's the pixels that are stretched and stuff but I think that actually looks pretty solid okay this is awesome super nice restaurant you walk in and there's those doors I'm sure this is like you know a super super nice restaurant but it's it's super nice to me and that's what matters I love that far too much that's so cool and this is just like a super simple use case for this like there's so much more that you can do with these things this is awesome that's so cool I'm so proud of the little open sign I think it looks so good man I could literally play with these for hours and hours and hours I'm definitely not gonna do that today but oh my gosh this is fantastic look at just how like simple and like effective that feels and then these windows it's just so simple like I just love it you can use it to do so much there's one more thing that you can do with display entities though you can put a uh an entity down on the ground and uh you can just ride the entity and now it looks like I'm sitting in my restaurant this means you can make other entities ride things too okay wait I can do this oh that's awesome okay wait yeah look at that that's okay that took it right but oh my gosh it looks so good I love the idea that this is like you know a dice right this is like a super nice restaurant and it's open and there's just one guy in here behind the table just just just hanging out this makes sense right POV you walk into a restaurant that you thought was super nice but actually isn't all that nice so there's only one guy there and it feels super awkward hey that's a relatable scenario right that that happens all the time by far my favorite part is the windows the windows are so cool let's just place a casual fire painting back there seems pretty nice this is pretty fantastic we're gonna close that up for the day
