Meow Wolf: Return to the House of Eternal Return 2019

hey you all carpetbagger here coming to you live from the southwest more specifically Santa Fe New Mexico and even more specifically than that I'm in front of me owl wolf the the one here in Santa Fe also known as the house of eternal return this is I've been here before this is one of my absolute favorite probably my one of my top two favorite roadside attractions put that that far up there and I'm super excited because they've actually remodeled and ravenna renovated certain things since my last visit swimming interested to see how it changes new updates also there's plans for future me I'll wolf experiences there building one in Denver that's in 2020 but in 2019 there may be one in Las Vegas they also have plans for one in Washington DC and a novel Hotel in Phoenix Arizona and what is Meowth wolf I think it's better I just show you follow me [Music] [Music] this mural right here is amazing there's a wizard just licking ups Manet's and eating it with two spoons and look at that we're a little uh angel baby here it is a house of eternal return itself you're about to enter that's a little ominous yeah it's just a normal living room in here and suddenly you know something start to become a little unusual some papers about the heirs of coffee [Music] that is there's like a video camera here recording that table you see there's kind of like an underlying story here and it's not like a straightforward story it's like bits and pieces and hints of the story that you kind of gotta figure out and interpret in your own way it's a little family fishtank here it's a little meow little fish family photo album here [Music] yeah you can see like a a ripple chandeliers all distorted very loud [Applause] it's like there's a - had an alligator in this office upstairs the bathroom up here everything seems pretty normal there's like little things like the creepy ripple on the floor there's noticed if you look down on the toilet you can see a child laying on the ground up here one of the children's bedrooms there's a missing hamster here and as you see this is not a museum everything isn't glued down you can just take books out open them up anomaly what's this some movie have a tiny little OOP door slam behind me but we tiny little village see the little mammoth right there yeah things getting a little spooky notice these posters of girl boy some sort of faceless musician some spooky noises there's a commercial of Barbie having gel dripped on her bookshelf right here and surprise surprise wait a minute where are we now this pink cave skeleton there that's like the mammoth that was on the table and uh little children's around almost like some research of some sort being done in the strange machine these family photos let's uh check the closet here [Music] see there's small clothes I think we can look yeah no silent piano back downstairs in the kitchen if there's some unusual things that's not that unusual but these things are where we go from here see what's in the fridge what they're in the fridge [Music] [Music] [Music] see what we do here okay access to this room look at this love this guy here could blink his eyes now he's staring and took a museum style exhibit here except I don't understand anything the bowl of hair a blue hatchet it's an orca whale made out of orca whales I think that's a press-on nail waterfall there is a skunk I have two other skunks by their neck with chains I don't remember these nes games thats called clown gloom stigmata and pretty pretty castle there's a mop so it's made out of human hair [Music] dribbling into that bucket [Music] [Music] see this lets us have easy now we're in the desert those cactuses it's a little little trailer you know just hang out in here yeah this whole little nook here is just all made out of carpet so freaked out like in the indentation here as you see me a little hard to describe easier to show it is an immersive experience really nothing much like it it almost uses elements of like haunted houses in a non scary way that it just doesn't thing to your senses this is an experience to pull it all together it was built here in Santa Fe and an abandoned bowling alley and banded bowling alley is owned by george RR martin the writer of Game of Thrones wigs Laska flex this claw machine here I don't think it would be able to pick up this Mouse right here yeah it's just random arcade here [Music] Wow look at that we're see he had an oil not heard of this game before not really sure how you even pronounce that transdimensional wrath of the NED crystalline solid oats crystals are power power is dimensional worms and crystals [Music] okay let's oh we got a fight okay I get said worms at these worms this is very confusing what is happening [Music] okay I'm spooky here we got this horrifying mouth ready to swallow us oh look the sword in the stone I think we're getting that out today let's head in here what's in this room some slightly altered cereal boxes sir interesting being headed Power Ranger big pile of stuff human organs what's that looks like it's like the monster from eraser head a hallway of televisions well this is a little ominous giant rabbit takes up the whole room this will crawl inside of him what's going on [Music] [Music] it's gonna scary it's almost like a vertical bus with something happening out the windshield all right I gets to drive this bus you have done sit down in this seat right here [Music] and stare here we have the steering wheel of the of the bus sit back and enjoy the ride I am controlling it believe it or not here on the second floor and you can see the top of the bus right here Oh and this random tiny dining room what's for dinner eggs it's wonderful Seetha [Music] [Music] [Music] if you notice this here this underwater-forest the same as the aquarium in the living room [Music] [Applause] I'm sure this is some sort of creepy ice-cream room maybe missing hamster what they're doing with them it's like he's being used to power he's spinning I on top of the pyramid something is being siphoned from these goats heads he's running through all these tubes on the ceiling [Music] sure what this orb is right here yeah that's interesting I see a rifle that boy [Music] shirt oops my goodness she's trying hands it's a little city right there in the beginning labor one one one Kingdom it was order and it was perfection that even a perfection of heart wall there Dassin in his box he no longer thought content reduction we needed the are known needed to explore we needed to create an anomaly imagine magnet a ssin happened fast something overtook everything that you control I don't know what this is called but we'll just call it the scary kake forest I think this is one of my favorite rooms it's like a old cartoon [Music] see what's in the drawer oh that's uh that's unsettling let's close the drawer what's that snagged you what's a snag there's something terrifying under here oh there is something out with plush it's kind of a mash-up of a3i to wolf and a one-eyed cat it's actually sold here in the gift shop they're called experience tubes I think you're supposed to connect faces of another person so you can have an intimate experience as well and here is the all fortune teller [Music] the customer [Music] we need one of those too okay [Music] here's an art of Matt which is a converted cigarette machine the now instead of cigarette sells art I think we're going to get some you'll have two different art to choose from and I think we're going with professor squirrel [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right so that was me our wolf House of eternal return and definitely I don't know I I don't know it's disorientating so it's hard to tell what's new and what I just didn't notice last time I'm super excited about the new ones coming up it is one coming up this winter supposedly in in Las Vegas I think I'm gonna try to make a trip out there to see that I'd be crazy enough to do that yeah just I think it speaks for itself and I think it's something that you almost need to experience in person to to fully appreciate but thank you for watching please check
