Ya, this is a real place

Adult Swim the grocery store
I went to this place a few weeks ago. Never seen anything like it. You can just walk around and see all the crazy products you can actually buy. You can also go in back and see this trippy world they built behind the store. I was told to ask an employee for a card by someone. This card let's you "train" as an employee and you can learn the story about the store and what happened to the owners or something. I didn't have enough time and it was too busy to figure anything out. Unfortunately don't live in Vegas but if I did I would love to go back and figure it out. I bet you could spend hours and days there.
So I've been here twice (one for the VIP preview and then again on opening day) and I have a lot of...feelings.
Do not go more than once. The first time was fun but we missed a lot of the story. We already had tickets for opening so we decided to go back and follow the story. It was an exercise in frustration because....
There are way too many "squeeze points" in the story. You have to use your card to access certain things in a fairly exact order if you want to follow the story. So does everyone else. You will end up waiting in line at these consoles, frustrated.
Go now while they are still at reduced capacity. They were at 20ish% capacity the first time we went and 30% the second. It was already a crowded madhouse. I can't imagine going when it's at full capacity.
It's unfinished. And that's not just my feelings, if you are driving by the outside and their warehouse doors are open you can see a huge, partially drywalled section of the warehouse. The end of the story is also really vague. Maybe one day they'll expand it, if the place is profitable enough.
Check out the hidden bar. It wasn't open when I was there but it looks awesome.
This is supposed to be an "adult playground" but a ton of people insisted on bringing their 10 and under kids so prepare for that -.-;
Overall it was fun and the art itself is very cool. There needs to be a lot of refining but it'll get there eventually.
The humor in this has a portal-vibe.
We have tickets for this Friday, actually.
It's in an artsy fartsy, two level strip mall called Area 15 built for people who "always wanted to go to Burning Man".
I wanna go honestly.
That pig with the noise maker sounds like a lot of
