Meow Wolf: House of Eternal Return - Once in a Lifetime Experience

that's a big robot hey well carpetbagger here coming to you live from the southwest we're specifically Santa Fe New Mexico and even more specifically than that I am in front of meow wolf this is a mysterious new roadside experience that has recently popped up Casa I don't know much about it or how to describe it other than it looks amazing so why don't we just head it side find out for ourselves follow I've not seen one of these in a very long time this is a Nardo map machine it is a cigarette machine converted into an art dispenser they've spent different types of art [Music] not entirely sure where I'm supposed to go ocean noises even though we are not apparently at the ocean we would go in here all right here's the kitchen see what's in the frigerator my goodness goodness walking into the refrigerator gateway to the multiverse [Applause] what but it's lose that but our he who Oh all right we got some random items here blew hatchet the mob that appears to be made out of human hair is this a simulation of what it's like to lose your mind what is this put your hand in here if you can dig in this pink sad [Music] why [Music] by a jungle of some sort now [Music] creepy noises little kids drawings does this look now back in the house here's a little fireplace but but if I just a MIDI it's oh and of course the fireplace takes you to an ice cavern some sort of glowing dinosaur skeleton [Music] some giant ones up there sort of alien spacecraft maybe oh no one who's sort of neon OSHA and that's pretty cool [Music] we watch it creepy scuba diver an octopus up there well back to reality [Music] let's go back into the house and see what other unsanded you can uncover so back in the kitchen go around here it's the laundry room of have some sort of transdimensional dryer I guess yes guess I better go in all right I'm in I'm inside the dryer but encased clothing and madness oh my god okay in the psychedelic forest though there is this comfy looking couch we all take a little rest it's Julie brain this this is amazing this is this is a whole other level right here I don't know what those people are doing sitting up there oh my gosh giant Raven all right on the other side of this mystery tree there is a staircase take us to the top there's a winding staircase inside the tree take us up to the second level can't really see this very well it's put a little bit of light on and oh my lord what am I even looking at it's a dinner set up right here I don't know for who alright there's a front of a bus just sticking up out of the ground I thought it was in a treehouse but that seems to have changed oh my gosh that is creepy nice and tight fluttering [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] remember some sort of electric city right here am i in a black and white car too and all of a sudden snack juice oh my goodness [Music] what's this sort of wedding cake Boris there's an artificial heart surrounded by dead scorpions that may be a bad sign [Music] [Music] some TVs slightly unnerving [Music] Oh ice plant this is an ice machine and of course guess you go inside of it oh we got some taxidermy in here [Music] I don't know if I trust the door that many knobs oh my oh my gosh [Music] semanek swallow by refrigerator [Music] what do we have here there's some sort of half butterfly half armored beetle [Music] this is confusing a little [Music] looks like some internal organs [Music] there's some monsters in there some sort of alternate dimension cereal boxes [Music] I guess we'll go behind the mysterious curtain right on [Music] [Music] have a random vintage arcade in here oh wow that is a panda with a corn dodge that's lost its mind okay this is just straight-up amazing in and of itself Street Fighter 2 replay is MORTAL KOMBAT FreePlay and then probably the best arcade game of all time Simpsons are taking or freak [Music] all right now we're in a RV [Music] two are running into the head of these goats so there's a miniature in here but it's completely insane there's an Illuminati period a pyramid being fueled by a live mouse at least that's my interpretation if I can I get clear here there's no logical pathways there's no real sense of where you are you just keep ending up in different places maybe put somewhere familiar but then suddenly you're in a place you've never been before wait a minute are we back in the house back in the house all of a sudden [Music] any portals in here I don't know if I'm gonna climb down in that toilet but there is a weird temporal rippling effect around the toilet what is that it is a portal the one that's way too small for me [Music] a bookshelf right here let's see if we can of course but where are we now my head thank you [Music] this is like some sort of teenage girls bedroom here but if you start to look a little closely it gets a little troublesome when you notice that the posters have no face girly boy [Music] is that [Music] and I feel like I should go in here to this circular okay I'm having a seat where am I she doesn't dome see what's inside here oh okay so it's chill on these astroturf pillows can you just enjoy the sight of a thousand eyes staring at you on the dark I've never been so unnerved than relaxed at the same time bring you to me so that I can personally this is the closet door here hi Jim Herron let me have another hope there's a baby it's a portal through the closet there's a piano that's a very [Music] super unnerving piano so those sounds it's making that's the unsound yeah that was the one I literally don't fit to this hole yes you can come on butter no okay there these people help will people gave me the encouragement I needed to squeeze my bloated torso through that hole check out this meow wolf merch I really really like this check out this article of clothing they sell here [Music] so that was meow wolf here in Santa Fe New Mexico you guys saw that I don't even don't even know where to begin it is it almost defies description it's uh has different aspects to it it's almost like a haunted house aspect to it but without anything scary and no jump scares which I really really love it's like the parts about haunted house that I like - the parts I don't like yeah there's like no rhyme or reason you go through it I'm sure there's things in there I didn't even find because and they do so season passes and this wrist bar actually gets you in all day so you can come here at 10:00 a.m. and stay until a at night just enjoying yourself here if I lived at Santa Fe I would buy a season pass and a heartbeat this this is a one-of-a-kind absolutely one of a kind of tractor although not for long because they are making believe they're building new locations in Denver and Las Vegas but I think I think that they're gonna be unique it's gonna be the same style but it'll be a unique setup and I didn't really touch on a much in there but there is like a storyline and they tell you right off the bat that you can choose to participate in the storyline or not you know I was I was more interesting just kind of seeing it but there is kind of this overarching trippy storyline where you get bits and pieces of it which would be really if I if I had a season pass I would definitely delve into that so I can't recommend this enough anytime you're Pastor Santa Fe you you cannot miss this because this is a once-in-a-lifetime
