Fright Walk Under the Boardwalk - Santa Cruz Boardwalk

[Music] hey y'all carpetbagger here along with Adam the woo we are here at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk this is now I'd never been to this place before supposedly they have some cool rides and I always love checking out these old amusement parks this is family marks on your don't pay no attention to that okay there are no vampires are no vampires here I've never seen that movie we're just gonna have a good time or creepers walking around somewhere not keeper keeper keeper all right join me Adam and Kieffer we check out the Santa Cruz Boardwalk I'm gonna find it follow us here's the Surf City Grill there Moo Scott is a bunch of fast food items surfing but you wouldn't want to eat those things after they'd been surfing in the ocean you checked this out here was one of my kinfolk a genuine Neanderthal sitting here on this bench and of course every boardwalk has a beach actually really pretty and see a lighthouse out there in the distance and so there's some people camping on the beach got some rough surf today this is Neptune's Kingdom little arcade area in here now this is pretty amazing they have a genuine laughing sail and she works look at her look at her look at her I love laughing look at her over top the mini golf course of this pirate news ship oh yeah I've got an animatronic on our hands the indoor lighthouse [Applause] apparently this whole indoor area here used to be a swimming pool that filled it in replaced it with mini-golf in an arcade there's no that pirate stuck him down he just fired the cannon you got some old pool tables in here there's a little magic shop here and then there's this swirling hypnotic disc here at the fisherman's galley you can have a clam chowder bread bowl or you can eat a fish that's smiling at you from a sandwich all right we got us a shooting gallery the gold rush shooting gallery let's make these guys pay [Music] [Applause] [Music] here's the classical corner where they have some of their vintage arcade game those space invaders Cubert this was the only arcade machine we had at our local skating alley right at the ball that used to move the little shootie guy these look fun walk under the boardwalk some sort of haunted walk through attraction it appears look at this that a Fiji mermaid oh no I thought that was a normal picture not a haunted one Adam you scared scared them to the breakline we've got too few things to tell you before you enter the face don't touch the creatures that's right don't touch us and we won't touch you [Music] terror your screams that pain as you run into a wall it's so good when I die I want my skull to be used to give instructions at a haunted house I'll donate it to the Santa Cruz board to awesome laying under the boardwalk watch how there's this creepy skeleton carousel [Music] turn aside to a banner that's a Fiji mermaid banner mermaid return why we got a strobe watching yes yeah no warning trigger warning with it in or entering the stroke zone I think that's the utility door I don't think your cemento that [Music] [Applause] [Music] I'm a bad bad feeling about this right now you City though you go grab it going for a serious electrical road job that door moved or something to do maybe not [Applause] okay we got a pick a door Adam I think we're good I think we're doing this what door do we pick I don't know why do I have my arm around this is normal [Music] would that look like the right one [Music] you guys got really dark it's spooky formal who's a trick okay emergencies only so it's kind of one of these right here [Music] I'm not sure what is that yes you yell de rotary IGEL is it you were startled at yourself I guess I was that leave that one I think it's your turn to open it what happened was that noise does it give me the noise in your touch [Music] that's creepy [Music] you okay gonna fight you that was really close to your head what's in here what's in here oh no a haunted arcade that's we can't get you at dinners like a metal fence here this is Popeye oh look at this battle zone actually I think it spit on me I don't want to go to this skeleton door I've been going for a while you go you come on just more bloody skeletons here's some free thing you must be safe continue on what oh my gosh is like the walls are like [Music] my gosh we're not gonna jump on the are you creepy skeleton [Music] the enduring crew right now these are skeletons along the wall look at this [Music] this this guy's gonna go off mirror funhouse that doesn't seem very fun there's some sort of balloons here balloons [Laughter] all right right behind you I hope there's not a jump-scare at the end of this tunnel what I think Oh sharks like Raiders of the Lost Ark go some sort of giant troll monster I don't know man coming again oh my god spooky guy right here it's moving ever so slightly again doors slightly leaning forward okay the zombies behind this Joel well behind the door looks as if it's like heavy steel it could not be no my goodness there's an alien right there that's why that's why it's not feeling so well he's I don't know I think that's some sort of fish man fish man slantingly definitely a fish man I rescued whatever it is I rescued a lady from a big one what well when the rare double had in Fiji mermaid that's its way rarer than the single headed that stroll is back it's the same troll controls back oh oh really that looks pretty much skeleton with glowing red eyes and flaming that part right there it's like totally not gonna react in any way or do anything to it okay cool [Music] tonight you don't think it's going to do something do you think it's orientation tunnel of some sort are you coming yeah the balance is waiting [Music] [Music] [Music] there's some sort of clown monster face that is really creepy the killer clowns from outer space [Music] to the wall Adam I don't know look it's very scary maybe it doesn't [Music] you had a clown that is pretty free hopefully there's not one big last scare coming Oh eyes everywhere oh man oh look it's the see him again come on come on come on come on why didn't you tell us about this now the haunted house so the interest a happens the guy at the front opens the door folks are towards me and Adam it was just like come on guys just get out get out get a house get out and then that was just that I don't know I don't know he just he really just wanted us to be done for some reason he didn't realize how terrified we really were to go it's it's a testament how scary it is the two grown men are screaming like small children this is a loof carousel it says since 1911 it's actually really cool-looking I [Music] honestly have not seen this in modern times there is actually a gold ring that you can grab when you're riding the carousel that that is really cool I've lugged it a really cool scary clown back there too sadly this amazing looking haunted castle dark ride alas is closed it seems like we have some some food riding a roller coaster seems like that would be incredibly messy and sticky so one of those games where you spray water into a clown's mouth until he explodes little look they're moving they're all turning their heads and looking at me sadly this whole section the boardwalk is currently closed guess I really should have came in season kids ride I got quite a little breakneck burn well here it comes [Applause] you guys joining us here at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk a very cool old-school boardwalk unfortunately it is offseason I didn't realize there wasn't off-season a California but there is so a lot of the ruts are closed down and four so there's two dark rights here they're closed for the season which is a real bummer makes me very very sad so I may have to return here at some point but I definitely loved the
