PVP is coming to power world and I'm going to teach you everything you need to know to absolutely dominate the Arenas first of all this chart right here will be your absolute best friend when deciding your strengths and weaknesses in battle now there's a few things to know about this chart first of all if your Pal's element matches the element of the move they are using they will do increased damage however regardless of your Pal's element if the element of the move you're using is super effective against the type of the while you're fighting then you will do critical damage however if your Pal's type matches the type of the move you will do significantly more critical damage than if it does not in this same regard pals are actually resistant against moves that share an element that that pal is strong against so ice type moves are going to do reduced damage to a fire type another thing to pay attention to is that your pal only has three moves in its battle rotation and these can be changed out without losing the move it's simply won't be in the current rotation and finally to go along with that When selecting your three moves you need to pay attention to not only the element type of the moves but also the cooldowns of the moves if you've ever been in battle with your pal and you see them just kind of standing around looking lost it's most likely because you put on too many powerful moves with large cooldowns and they simply can't use any of their moves at the moment so they can't attack now let's move on to what Pals you should be picking for the arena and which types you should avoid the biggest thing here to avoid is a pal that is a single type the reason being is that this pal most likely only has one strength and also one weakness the only element that has two strengths is fire rather than picking a pal with a single type dual type Pals will be absolutely essential in the arena this is because everything that I explained earlier works for each type within your Pal's dual type so what I mean for this is that one of your Pal's types can cover for the weakness of the other and that's why I also think that you shouldn't pick just any dual type but a dual type whose two types only have one degree of separation between them on the chart let me give you some examples pen King who is an ice Slater type would be a great choice because there's only one degree of separation between the two types that being fire fire moves which would typically be incredibly strong against ice now have their critical damage completely cancelled out by the fact that pen King is also a water type and because pen King is a water type water type attacks will do increased damage and water is already strong against fire so rather than having an ice type that is weak to fire you now have an ice type that is strong to fire because it's also a water type but because it's also an ice type it is still also strong against Dragon so now we have two strengths in one pal the fact that pen King has two strengths and only one weakness is great however pen King is still going to be weak to Electric so what I suggest since you have three moves is to get one water move which will do increased damage because pen King is a water type one ice move which will do increased damage because pen King is an ice type and then for the last move I highly suggest getting a ground move to help cover its only weakness which is electric so at least that way when fighting an electric type if you're taking increased damage because pen King is a water type at least you're also doing increased damage damage with ground moves to electric type however you won't be doing the same amount of increased damage as a ground type would be doing with a ground type move to that electric type an example of a bad dual type pal would actually be ozerk orer is a dragon SL electric type which has more than one degree of separation on the chart because of this neither of its types help negate The increased damage from either of the types weaknesses the electric typing does not cancel weakness to ice and the dragon typing does not cancel cancel weakness to ground so yes ozerk is going to be strong against water and dark Pals but it's going to be weak to both ground and Ice Pals so if you want to get value out of orser's typing you would want to have one Dragon move which would do increased damage because ozerk is a dragon type one electric move which would do increased damage because ozerk is an electric type but then for the third move if you wanted to have a move to help do increased damage to orser's weaknesses which will be doing increased damage to you you would then have to choose between a grass type move to do increased damage to a ground type which will be doing increased damage to orer because he's an electric type or a fire type move to do increased damage to an ice type which will do increased damage to orer because he's a dragon type this means that not only does orer have two weaknesses but that you'll only be able to choose one of those weaknesses to have a decent attack against now let's move on to what I would consider possibly the best d will type an all of power world Yanti ignis Yanti ignis is a dragon slf fire type dragon is strong against dark and fire is strong against both grass and ice and because it's a fire type that cancels out the increased damage that ice would do to urantide ignis for being a dragon type this means that urantide ignis has three strengths and only one weakness so as far as its move set you should have one Dragon move which will will do increased damage because urantide ignis is a dragon type one fire move which will do increased damage because urantide is also a fire type and lastly you should have one electric type move to help do increased damage to water types which will be doing increased damage to Yanti ignis due to it being a fire type if you equip this move set then you will have three strengths and only one weakness that you actually have a decent chance of fighting against due to the electric move now with all this said you might be wondering Nick what are your three Pals that you would be taking into the arena the first pal I'm having on my team for PvP Arenas is Van worm Christ vanw worm Christ is a dark and ice type the ice type will negate the extra damage that Dragon moves would get against the dark type and instead vanor Chris would actually get increased damage with ice attacks because it is an ice type which would deal extra damage to dragon type because dragon is weak to ice and due to vorm Crist also being a dark type it would do increased damage with with dark moves to neutral Pals so van worm Chris would have two strengths and only one weakness which would be fire therefore my move set would be one ice move which would do increased damage because it's an ice type one dark move which would do increased damage because it's also a dark type and finally one water move to help put up a fight against its one weakness which is fire the second pal I would have on my team for the PvP Arenas has to be pen King Pen King is a water/ ice type meaning that that the water type completely negates the extra damage that fire moves would get against it for being an ice type instead water moves would do increased damage due to pen King being a water type and water is already strong against fire in addition to this pen King is also an ice type meaning that ice moves will do extra damage especially against Dragon Pals this means that pen King has two strengths and only one weakness which is electric type therefore my move set for pen king would be one water move which would do increased damage since it's a water type one ice move which would do increased damage since it's an ice type and finally one ground move to help put up a fight against its one weakness which is an electric type my third and final pal that I'll be taken to the PVP Arena to nobody's surprise is your moon tide ignis your moon tide ignis is a fire SL dragon type meaning that the fire typing completely negates the extra damage that ice moves would normally get against dragon type on top of this because five is the only type that actually has two strengths grass and ice it means that including Dragon strength against dark urantide ignis actually has three strengths and only one weakness which is water this makes urantide ignis unquestionably the most diverse and Powerful pal that you could possibly have in PvP with this said my move set for urantide ignis would be one fire type move which would do increased damage because it's a fire type pal and even more damage against both ice and grass types one dragon type move which would do increased damage because it's also a dragon type which would also do increased damage to dark types and finally one electric type move to be able to put up a good fight with a strong move against water Pals which is its only weakness I hope you're as excited for PVP to come to power world as I am and I really hope that this video helped you get a better understanding of what Pals you want to bring into combat when Arenas go live if you enjoyed this video and or learned something be sure to subscribe for more power world content
