argument we'll be back on tour starting July 21st we'll be in Indiana Indianapolis to be exact I'm actually posting those tickets live right now during this podcast get your tickets okay this was our go see Kevin Louisville go see Tony in Lexington then just stay there because the next day me and Marcus will be there all right put it on a credit card figured out later boom boom man our tickets are not responsive at all we're gonna have a good time uh go on my Instagrams and click the link in the bio you can get all the tickets there and um I'm too tired to remember anything else one Margarita music video will be dropping soon yay we was up in there we was up in there more news coming about that but y'all hear about it when I can talk about it amen all right now uh first thing on the docket um patreon producer Dr Emily says did we ever talk about the guy who spent 81 000 to lengthen his leg so he could be taller because he was tired of being rejected by women this is a black dude no how tall was he starting off I think he was uh 81 000. yeah it was 81 000. it was like five six good one Joshua this early in the morning Josh you just setting it up that's a young man Seegers 27 was previously five foot five inches and now he is six feet tall is my height poster he went from you to me 80 000 wow for seven uh uh what's the math per inch on that oh he's seven almost 10 grand that's about a little more he only did he did seven inches right inches for 80 grand oh yeah yeah it's loud wow 10 bands that was 11 bands per inch let me tell you what I don't know anything what would I pay that that sound like uh California real estate that's what that feel like that's how much we be paying per square inch out here but just for kneecap lengthen itch well he the thing is I think they break your yeah they put like a spacer in there and then just crank it yeah it stretches does your bone regrow it has to fuse around it man it sounds crazy now listen uh hopefully his dreams have come true but I feel like you can't walk normal can you ever jog I don't it might take you time you ain't chasing now no more walk you're power walking the rest of your life well and here's the other thing your arms no longer match oh absolutely arms and legs are some people's arms are longer like some basketball players wingspan is longer but it's usually relative to how tall you are so going you're having the same arm you gonna be looking like Desmond Payne wouldn't be a big guy dunked on in his first Summer League game he's the new Phenom and he was in Las Vegas his first NBA game summer league and somebody dunked somebody dunked on that oh his gangly um your coordination be trash listen the per and the person who was not is seven his coordination was good but that the dude went for first of all I need to appreciate being six one you're tall but not so uncomfortably tall that life is more difficult right I'm not wimpy Marcus is uncomfortably tall he is things are not made he's gotta go like this sometimes yes airplane seats I can't imagine terrible thank God we got some money because listen it is trash in regular seats we were talking me and Tony were talking me and Greg were planning the trip we're buying tickets to Germany uh to go to uh to the shows out there and I told Tony because who's notoriously cheap has no reason to be as cheap as he is still but those of us who grew up in poverty those memories are stronger than our new life yes I said Tony when you go to Germany do me a favor you don't have to go business class first class but at least go premium economy it's an 11 hour flight ain't enough leg room to make you comfortable for 11 hours so leg lengthening guy has went from having great leg room everywhere to having our problems where leg rooms now you got an issue yeah but the thing that people don't understand if this is what I'm curious about I want to know is five five still in his heart you know what I'm saying like you you was a you ain't a real six you will always remember he's well you can't have six foot energy as five five and then get the six foot that's that insecurity right that's always going to be in the back of the mind like well I used to be a five five maybe that's five five Josh coming up that's what I'm saying that's the same way therapy's always like the little inner child he's inner small what I don't understand what is he gonna do if none of the women still don't want him right he's going to six five I need another 80 band and who cares that the arms don't match what if the penis oh that proportion like I because that's what I'm like depending on your height is what I can not you know sometimes people surprise you but depending on your height is what I will accept to be what your Norm is you know what I'm saying right and and some people's right they'd be tall but the pain don't be when it sometimes when you wake up some people wake up at a regular time medically the person you'll be like that right what's that little booty tape boy y'all just talked about who's taller wimby we'll be seven seven now if he got a five two man penis it's gonna look it's gonna look like a belly button awesome man that little belly button might be perfect yeah we're going to seven seven I'm gonna be like something's wrong and the thing is you can have too much pain too women have said this online after a certain amount what are we doing with it it's like you get Jimmy John's you get the the regular this or the giant you don't need this much sandwiches put a scarf on the bottom of the shaft yeah it's gonna get cold wrap that thing up because where is it going not in me there's so much leave out you know you have to leave out with the weave yes you got all this vaginas involvers the internal it only goes so long yes you trying to Ram it up in there you're gonna you're gonna pop a spleen or something yeah oh listen this would hey hey threshold has been reached the thing is he said it his five five was messing with his confidence and he felt like at six at six he'd be more confident see he wouldn't know though in that moment listen I'm not gonna knock him from doing what he wanted to do surgery wise I just I height is like a huge thing to change and that surgery is obviously not a joke but I do Wonder like if the he's going to get the results because the results he wants are internally he wants to feel better so he's saying an external thing being changed will make him feel better and then hoping that people on the outside find him more desirable that he cannot control well let me tell you what let me read the article because I didn't I didn't scroll down please tell me let me read the quotes right because it was what we thought this is uh Denzel dizzy I was very I was very timid and reserved child and I always was scared to be myself out of fear of being judged or unaccepted and in my teen years one time I was rejected by a girl I had a huge crush on and although she found me attractive her reasoning was that I was too short and too young for her I held on to that and would always consider my height before approaching women which would all often cause me to miss out on opportunities I want to take a quick pause here let me tell you who's short and who got game that's just you guys Josh can have whoever he wants Josh said [ __ ] I'm fine were you five five jobs I'm five six five six Josh's girlfriend is out of this world gorgeous but also Josh is a handsome little Mexican [ __ ] listen is cute as a butt listen tall black women love this short King yummy that stage crew girls would be he'd be sitting on that lap you'd be lucky he got your relationship before he was on that tour with us oh my God that big chest of women would be sitting there hey get your little butt over here oh yeah and let me give you a ride but the key is Josh had the inner confidence my man here didn't have it he didn't another major thing that stood out for me was that as much as I love playing sports somebody said I'm gonna remain respect respectful but Josh could have me she said she's turning around doing this today I'm not gonna get in trouble over this segment oh that's listed I already know Jasmine looked like she had cut somebody oh yeah she does she got a little she made her eyes smaller she's a pedicure back I'm in that kitchen all right another major thing that stood out to me as much as I love playing sports and I was very good at them I refused to join any of my school teams because of my small stature uh I looked into many different ways to get taller over the year but there was never any realistic options he added I found out about limb lengthening and booked my appointment immediately also takes six separate surgeries yes to get the uh take a while it's crazy I wonder if you pay the ten pounds per inch I think now you're five six eleven thousand let me like [ __ ] just get a mommy makeover it is cheaper and less I had no particular inspiration but I just knew that I wanted to recreate my body and mine and what better way than increasing my height and getting in great shape uh for the next 90 days you go through a linking process where you turn a key on an external fixator triggering the internal rods it's done at about a millimeter a day and sometimes more at the end of nine days when you reach your desired height which is a maximum of four inches on the upper leg and three inches on the lower leg oh you can you can max out at seven seven inches he said let's go to the max once a newborn has grown in which takes a year then turn around it's been removed with two more surgeries still on the cards so they so you create new bone he Wolverines his legs so the bone grows as they go around the rod and then they take the rod out do you know I feel like he has not he while he's gotten the height I feel like he's destined himself to walk like a retired NFL player that's what Josh was saying I feel like that you know how they all yeah all the years have have uh waned on them uh but the thing is now here's the thing plastic surgery is actually very it's much more common as far as I know uh in women and women are usually much more open talking about it yeah but or I should say cosmetic surgery right because now men are out here lindening I think the reason this story is so jarring uh because this is not a thing that people have heard of right men have gotten hair transplants um I remember Rogaine commercials and uh plugs first as long as I can remember Bozeman or whatever it was called yeah Bosman uh I think men have badly yes uh uh Pink penis lengthening yeah I've heard anything as far as I can remember it and there's penis pumps down at the sex store you can just get it by the way let me tell you I went one time oh Lord I'm afraid if that is no no no it's not it's not a boat but that triggered the thought yeah I'll just tell you okay okay one more time I was you know I've talked about on I saw this on the internet podcast I don't I sometimes you need lube and I always feel self-conscious about going in there to the sex store to get lube you know you just gotta have Lube as a married partner you need to lose something it could be a big Joker could be sometimes you lose right we don't buy no sometimes we'll have different different types you need it different different folks Different Strokes but for good handies oh yeah yeah okay okay that's different that's different that's different you got to keep it on you you know what I'm saying you ain't got to use for the handy but it's very helpful I didn't know would you ever first big handy oh okay big handy that one week we could do some other stuff now the one week golden re-upper Mallu out of town was low on Loop oh go I'm gonna go swing by oh no a little sex story not the Ajax one time thing on going to the sex store I'm talking I just want to give me a little you know Gun oil that's for the men's version of the lube open the door sex door employee oh my God it's Kev on stage okay I don't hello you just ruined yourself because now people like this is not Walmart you gotta go sometimes I just go to uh Amazon no Walgreens but see Walgreens okay CVS it's always locked up I don't want nobody got to come talk to me [Music] I don't want nobody knowing I I just it's my personal business just leave those are the type of things that make me go oh do y'all really gotta y'all really gotta know what I'm buying sex to I would love for somebody to be like that chick ain't driving like it girl I don't want no but I don't know what it is usually get on Amazon you probably give up the handle the Galaxy Josh I mean it's been good for six years that black girl and all the employees black dude was there right were you in Atlanta no what the hell but I was on the east coast is it a black owned it might have been that's probably more black dildos than usual oh I don't really think about it but I left immediately I was just like well oh I go in there asking for help okay so I want a penis right it's actually not for me but I was getting as a gift and I feel like purple is her favorite color like I have no shame going into sex stores but other stuff have you heard the lgbtq version of Pound Town huh oh my booty hole Brown my booty hole Brown Never Gonna Get It crystals posted this her caption was I would like to file a complaint hello I would like to follow a formal complaint this is the song I wish [ __ ] down down yeah [Music] oh wow it's so aggressive is that Mary Mary wow s1d d-e-z-415 is the person who posted it I don't know if that's the Creator these last buttons be taking these girls down these lesbians have game okay they do they do they have games that would turn me off I was like suck your dildo you can't feel that but it's a mental thing my homegirl is a husband I was talking to her about it I just wanted to understand and she actually made a point that I hadn't considered she was like you know what uh because I was like how you be like you know what I'm saying how y'all be right with the yeah I'm saying because it don't yeah and she said um so much of sex is mental when you can and also the some of those go in they connect in on the on the upper but she was saying yeah they go some of the dildos they too they have the liquor and the chicken you know what I'm saying clicker in the chicken they were like Kevin not only do we have a Lube we have the clicker in the chicken if you have any lesbian friends but she was saying I don't know about it she wasn't talking about sucking on dildos but she was like so much of his mentors your mind is there you're like a lesbian sex like she said big ass pacifier I don't want it I'm no but if they want to if that's the Pound Town they're going listen you go to that Palestine people do feet there's all kind of stuff in the world there's zones everywhere on the body listening on the body they're connected to the mind my mind ain't that strong the thing is when you suck peeing there's no as I imagine pleasure returned to you so it wouldn't be for you it'd be for the person no there is I've heard other way around though I've heard the other way around absolutely oh it's a good time it's a good time a good thing one Josh yeah I just refilled it any flavor man God bless from the back of the refrigerator I don't say pause either men from the back of the refrigerator [Applause] I remember the back I just refilled it with what Lou refreshed LaCroix oh papa loose please from the back of the refrigerator no pause no pause I'm not saying pause I didn't say nothing um I meant for the back of the refrigerator [ __ ] sounded like that ain't Pampa loose this is limoncello oh I'm sorry you already shook it I mean you already sauce anyway let's just go to the next time this is just the first topic we haven't even got anywhere we're all over the place all right next topic is I mean complete hard turn but I thought this is an interesting question to answer what J star girl said is podcasting slash social media being oversaturated I've heard multiple podcast hosts talking about fewer ads Etc how will you all plan for this I'll speak personally you don't have to go into anything if you don't want to I'll go through all of it this is why I talk to you all about patreon all right now I don't usually talking to financial but I'm talking to pictures let me just tell you what pre-pandemic podcasting for us me Melissa and most creators was out of this world lucrative yeah right love hour has been the most lucrative podcast I've ever done it was outrageously lucrative okay top of the pandemic it dropped the bottom fell out for like two or three months then advertisers realized oh they're people are in the house to listen more podcasts and it came right back up monetary wise to write under uh pre-pandemic post Christmas of last year podcasting Revenue you I literally called my person and was like yo what is happening because you know usually like YouTube it goes crazy for Christmas yes then January is a little light you start ramping back up people buy out through the year things like that this year I was like okay nice it's Valentine's Day what's going on it's St Patrick's Day yeah uh there's less ads there's less new companies no more blue and companies don't return so part of that failure for this podcast eventually especially if it's like a coded podcast if you listen to a podcast for a year or two that ad is you're either gonna get it or not correct so they can't they the the the rate of return or there's diminishing returns the longer you do an ad so it's in their best interest to buy for a year because you you get cheaper ads the more you buy correct but after a while I mean we did Bluetooth new things like that will be Parker is that what you said yeah word Parker yeah yeah we did those for years like you're gonna try Bluetooth or you're not like that ad has no effect on you and if you're not getting new users right your podcast isn't growing significantly correct you're not going to replace that income so I would say this year specifically by far a baseball absolute worst worst in the pandemic beginning we've we've had fewer four ad podcasts than we've had um well I mean usually like it was it was the other way around once in a while we'll get a three once in a while we'll get a two but consistently we have had like maybe 10 for ad podcasts uh yes I would say so yes we it was we they were asking us at one time to do two episodes of public here's a theme to fill out more ad inventory yeah but we were like we can't do two a week and then a bonus like we don't even on tour we was like we don't have enough time for three hour and a hour and a half podcast so and I don't I don't I'm gonna share because y'all people be thinking they be counting Pockets count these pockets part of the people who get paid here's we can cut this out okay no no I was saying for the no no no okay they pay based on ads right Angel ain't got no uh what is it what's the opposite of a raise pay decrease yeah Josh ain't got no pay decrease they're paid based on where the ads used to be no one could have predicted yeah this was gonna happen that it was gonna happen but did I go to Angel and Josh and say no but when I go to the page that's what I be talking about I'm like y'all got to help me yeah hey help me you want me to talk about y'all want to be paid fairly then y'all got to be over here help with that but Angel is a podcaster she knows like it's like it and this is why for the life of me this is why I never have one line of business only because all the businesses are gonna live touring was down during the pan I mean not even down which was my biggest thing so then podcasting Revenue switch now touring is back podcasting is down but that's why I'm turning the Mazda Roddy in two months no I'm not poor I'm just uh I I am not renewing it but that's why I keep all my other income down I mean my out goes down because you never know when this might drop that might drop things like that so uh and also people a lot of people on the patreon are asking is because there's so many uh new podcast no I don't because if you and also here's another thing and this is what I don't like about podcasting revenue from the the brand side like the person who purchases ads here's what they do they say okay uh Kevin Angel talk about Noom or not even new honey no no not even honey native right talk about Native and use the and I really do love me too use the code native for example right if you listen to us talk about Native and then you see native and Target and buy it you don't count there's no code they don't consider that conversion they don't consider that a conversion also more more often than not these bigger companies have a blanket podcasting code as well so we might have code native um is this going to cause an argument might have code native so they might not be able to to truly uh attribute no in the thing podcast it's actually coming a thousand percent version a lot of a lot of our podcasts have our specific code but when you have a network of podcasts yeah whose calls you're gonna use right that was the big reason why I was saying to Marcus and um Greg when they were first trying to sign up uh with audio boom I was like no don't go to them I said because you're going to get the same ads that we have yes and we have the same audience they have how many better help codes can they use and also also if you use honey it Scrolls the internet for any of those codes that work one thousand and then the other thing we that's what they use to decide if they want to re-up the other thing is viewers listen to more than one podcast yes right that's what I'm saying and most people don't think when they want to buy something they don't be like oh you know what I need deodorant let me make sure I go back to that podcast episode figure out go online or they buy it from Amazon or whatever or the company then gets into TV commercials and now you're like oh snap you there's so many products that that were podcast ads first which is when you have less revenue and they become TV commercials later and it's like you can't track the influence if somebody buys it and doesn't put the code in you know what I'm saying so at the end of the day I think the podcasting Revenue has gone down just because the diversifying in marketing like you said during the pandemic with less TV shows in production yeah trying to put your advertising Dollar in television might not have been the best option especially because people are watching um Netflix where there's no they're watching HBO Max there's no ads right so you're trying to interrupt whatever their regular viewing or entertainment schedule is and at the time yes a lot of people were watching podcasts or just online um personalities because we were cranking out content more regularly than the traditional media that has now changed back right to the norm so revenue is going back into uh commercials Revenue has Diversified yet again so I know on his is this going to cause an argument in tbtv um I think our Revenue has been cut in more than in half I was going to say for here's the thing it's and overall it's like two-thirds less yes than it when it was right to let go of our producer because of it because I realized that's why we don't fly people in for uh marriage be hard yeah like bruh when it was popping we didn't love that one everybody's flying in because the podcast can come make so much money it ain't covering that Zoom [ __ ] dream yard unless it's like like a humongous guest because what happens is like Angel said you got to adjust I can't be spending more money than it's bringing in right and that's why another reason why uh that's why people always ask me people DM and send me for jobs like I want to make sure the people that I have hired never have to worry about getting fired or laid off first amen right so I don't go hiring people like as much as possible I only hire like most production companies I hire for a production when it's in production and then I phase back yeah like my my employees very small because and it's based on essentially the worst Revenue yeah ever yeah right but I and that's why when I talk about patreon and stuff it's very frustrating and it's not frustrating in a sense but it's like people want so much but they don't want to help get that they're like protect black women pay them them work okay what are you doing to make sure that happens also down and also the words for I mean YouTube Revenue it'd be like I mean yeah crazy amount of views but I was just talking to somebody about this he was like black creators on average get on every version of pay on especially on YouTube uh a third to two thirds less than their white counterparts even on um the YouTube ads yeah right it's because companies they they want they don't want black viewers as much so anyway and the other thing is yes the proliferation of podcasts hurt all podcasts because a lot of the ad companies were like spreading all that um that budget inventory budget around and then most podcasters one of the reasons why they stopped podcasting is time consuming you just shoot it and post it right shoot an hour and edit yeah and post it three hours per episode most people don't have a Josh to do it so they do it themselves they're not getting no views that's one of the podcasts in the percentage of podcasts that is lucrative right and it's also three years old podcast which might be the top three percent of podcasts that are out and shrinking because of how saturated the podcast space is and this isn't just our ad I was talking to my guy about this and he was like look do you notice uh Harry and Megan's podcast got canceled humongous podcasters deals are getting canceled because there's they a lot of times companies overestimate a boom right it's like the e-commerce boom of the pandemic yeah when you're in e-commerce during 2020 you must you had your most lucrative year people aren't going to the store they were going to the store they're still buying online and people bought you know uh Shopify went crazy during that time and then 2021 2022 you know what they did massive layoffs yeah so to answer your question I don't know if you were done Angel um I don't know either but we're here now I just want people to know that that's why I'd be like patreon oh absolutely because is the thing you if you want to make sure you get to see them and then people oh my show got canceled because it ain't listened I love everybody I love everything a black lady sketch show was not renewed so this is I know this is a hard left real quick but let me talk no let me say this kind of ties in with it it ties in black lady schedule was not renewed thank you all so much for tuning in hardcore on season four the stage crew and angel wings were definitely felt not just in social media but in actual views on HBO and HBO Max um here's the thing though networks they'd be like goodbye it's time for y'all to go it's yeah it's time I mean you all already see all the changes that HBO is having yes they changed their name again they are like that I'm like okay brother love puffy who we talking to Mr Combs [ __ ] HBO HBO now HBO GO HBO Max to Max yes it's it's still HBO for cable bro that's the undertone and I had them all yeah I had now and go I was like [ __ ] now y'all go and figure out which the name is Who you gonna be um and this is uh and and I am there is no sorrow I'm so glad that I got to be a part of the show when it was on the air so uh and also I'm a rapper now so there's so many other things that I have to do like no for real just anyways back to what we were saying with that having that door closed I am so glad that I have been walking through every single door that has opened here recently because in this industry that we're in in also being entrepreneurs we have to Pivot so hard so cool all the time you have to be open to it as well you have to be if you close that door before it it even approaches you and you're like no this is the only thing I'm gonna do this the only thing I'm going to focus on it's going to be such an ugly journey through the rest of it oh literally yeah yesterday shot a music video with my friends this morning I was in Walmart shooting a Poise commercial a Poise brand deal you all have seen my Walmart commercial that's up right now I am not playing around okay and I'm over here advertising a tour it is so imperative because there's so many things we don't have control over that if we don't take the um our due diligence in the initiative to like shove ourselves in all the places that we actually fit our brand fits we will fail if Kevin was only doing podcasting your income would be looking like where how high is that would be on tour with my eyes bleeding hey guys Chattanooga what's up if you only toured during the pandemic you would have been a broke boy I'm telling you this is why I Diversified my stuff and that's why I be always preaching patreon because you really help support your creators to where uh Angel genius move when black ladies came on was like I'm not not being on my podcast because she knows that this is more uh safe than Hollywood Angel shot what six episodes six and you know what else HBO and all the companies are doing shot well six episodes came out but the amount of sketches that went into that oh yeah crazy amount of work but what they're doing now like this is why I'm surprised sag hasn't struck as well uh all these platforms they're taking old shows off of their platform so they don't have to pay residuals at all they're not only canceling them they'll be like no streaming them to other streamers now and that's the conversation that I want to hear about in terms of how people are getting paid for that like that 2023 version of syndication well that that is so syndication is based on the sale to the thing but if the network made it for themselves that what they're gonna do is be like this is cheap because I wanna I wanna pay residuals off the cheapest amount right now when I sell when uh NBC sells the office to Netflix [ __ ] this show costs 100 million dollars whatever the cost is we want to get those streaming rights office actors are paid very well but if HBO Max for example talk about black ladies got showed even though they didn't do this if HBO Max pays for black lady sketch show and then puts it on Max they don't have to pay themselves uh the same streets same string residuals if they did if they sold it to Netflix or whatever right right but what companies are doing now they're just taking the show off and not selling it to anybody because they don't want to pay if they can't sell it to another streamer which often they can because the other streamers are making their own content then they'll just like cancel the show and remove it so nobody's paid residuals at all because it's no longer playing like the reason Seinfeld actors get paid over and over is because that show's always in syndication but other TV shows like homeboys in outer space when that show was over it wasn't playing nowhere you're a Powerhouse like and this is where that uh strike comes in the into uh conversation as well like uh FX right snowfall comes on the next day it's on Hulu yes because it's owned by the same people yes yes baby listen the people making money is still making money absolutely so all that to answer your question uh I don't know if podcasting is being oversaturated but I do know that I do well absolutely but I and I do know that the ads are at the worst they've ever been I feel like we're actually spiraling on everything I feel like podcasting is spiraling out of control everybody's like pick up a mic talk about your opinion listen I sometimes hate to hear my own voice I'll be like what else I don't want to talk about it just like when we were talking about threads and cuts and whatever the hell it is up yeah let me tell you what rich people ain't got nothing else to do this is what I find so interesting about this Twitter has no less than five clones and I mean like actual clones there's Twitter there's spatable there's Mastodon uh there's Blue Sky Angel's like there sure is there those four are on and then they're spreads that are almost exactly in the same and now spills a newer app but it's not in the same interface it's closer to Tumblr Tumblr meets Instagram you know why Elon didn't care about the other four before threads because they didn't really pose a threat at last I checked spill I mean the threads had 70 million in 24 hours in 24 hours I've been having thread account now I don't know you can create it in three seconds yeah the easy crossover I even have it oh you said I don't even have it I went ahead I said Marcus I'ma start another he said what is it I said baby I don't know listen I've been having a great time on threads but the the point I was making uh it might have been over 100 million now Josh let me see 70 million Saturday million was his last is it and I don't think it's available everywhere everywhere either not yet oh dang so I didn't know that so now uh somebody said it's Kevin the dark web I've on Twitter and Twitter's competitors were talking about them but what happens is uh Facebook has stolen from everybody all their stuff is a copy of somebody else we talked about this in an episode recently IG stories is from Snapchat reels is from Tick Tock yeah WhatsApp they didn't steal because they just bought the Instagram video came from Vine Instagram video the actual video came from mine it was six seconds online 15 seconds on Instagram igtv was their answer to YouTube Periscope Periscope um Periscope hey I forgot about that one come on yeah Periscope dread is their answer to Facebook and why Facebook keeps winning is because as a company overall they have the most scale of all social media yeah so they have three ability to Pivot easy and they gotta pivot too and that pivot where we talked about back in the conversation we're gonna pay creators we want y'all to make videos y'all make them now we're out of mind we're no longer pancreas and that's not just us news used to be Hughes uh uh come on publishing news used to be huge on Facebook buzzfeeding CNN there was so much revenue then Facebook was like we're not doing that no more street right we'll buy an office we've got mad employees but you can't create for anybody else and guess what happened Facebook turned that off BuzzFeed had layoffs right and some companies don't come back from that so yes that's why it sucks for us uh sometimes also we still be here to add to the ability to Pivot that is the shiny box that people think that entrepreneurship is that you're only doing one thing and you're getting paid a crazy lucrative amount for it without having to think about anything else yeah that's a lot that's a puffy is the best example and he ain't even got Ciroc no more he let go of the surround him and de Leon I mean him in Diallo he said that um he said that uh yeah it is daily on De Leon was not giving him enough no the company that owns The Rock um he has a daily on tequila though oh does he I believe that's it oh I'm sorry hold on hold on hold on I said the wrong thing he's suing diagio for treating daily on tequila and Sorak as inferior black brands uh he was saying they weren't giving him uh is giving him enough money basically like uh enough budget to Market with because remember at the beginning of siroc that that stuff was everywhere commercials all deaf comedy they've sponsored that man they sponsored that free alcohol every time it was everything they were doing a lot on uh well no that was that was way after them them starting but versus Soraka was like y'all get drunk too and then tequila took back over yeah and then also uh Arnell and patreon said they were coming out with a watermelon flavor he said that was a mockery let me tell you what here's the thing about the watermelon watermelon Angel's house oh [ __ ] those little cold Waters we had here I don't care what the stereotype is watermelon is delicious cold watermelon in the summertime crisp freshly sauce my angel had I had a delightful oh pre-cut me and Greg we went through about half a pound because that watermelon didn't do much of it I didn't do a lot already so I don't know I peed it but I didn't tear it up okay listen one of the women came out that bathroom yesterday oh I'm sure I'm sure the way she we locked eyes she was like and she was like you might die I meant to put the spray in there don't don't don't I hate watermelon uh but anyway now now this is funny what was the next topic which is so crazy this was already the next topic anyway streamer xqc Q seat oh oh I'm broke leaves twitch agrees to a two-year 100 million dollar contract with kick never heard of kick before um it just it just came about so kick is a twitch competitor yes what was the one that they signed ninja to before kick because they changed their mind Mutant Ninja Turtles no Ninja that's a white boy he got a crazy deal and then Microsoft just was like never mind he got to keep like 50 million dollars oh my God you don't remember this story mixer yeah he left for mixer oh they said it mixed and Microsoft shut down mixer and they just were like keep the money we're done with this yes and then he came right back to Twitch I've never heard of xqc but I've heard of 100 million dollars come on let me tell you what that white boy I want to say is making more money than Steph Curry per year I think Steph Curry's probably around 43 million 40 million so yes he's making more than half two year a hundred listen I'm so mad that my parents was like get off that game you ain't gonna listen my boys play that game and get ready to stream I had Marcus start his kik account when I saw this in the docket week did you yes I did I said see what the age limit is I mean he looked it up he was like uh well we both looked I looked it up actually I looked it up and it said 13. and so I said go ahead what is he 14. he's 13. he'll turn 14 in August I said go ahead start up that account I said I'll let you know when you can start going live I said but we trying to get you in at the beginning I said so we can get your followers up over there do you know that the video game industry makes more money than the film I think it's the film industry it's disgusting and another whole industry combined video game industry is the biggest industry by a large margin so much you can do with the IP yeah you not only have the video game but then you can create a cartoon around the video game or other animation you can then create a movie around it oh what what no peak pandemic Call of Duty was making like 5.2 a day million yes the video game industry Revenue in 2022 was 220 billion dollars it will increase this year experts predict it will increase this year to 249 billion dollars it is a very that's why I encourage Marcus I'm always trying to help him up his game I'm like yes okay what is this game is this a new game you should be creating videos so that other people can come to yours guess how much the music industry makes keeping your mind that the video game industry makes 220. guess how much the movie industry makes movie industry movie and music movie five billion you know that ain't true Avatar made a billion movie makes 77 billion you said you know I don't know how much I'm not Tony Baker 77 billion for movies 15 billion for music combined they are less than half of the video game industry I can believe it the last of us to your point I didn't know that was a video game never heard of it I've Seen the Last of Us promo on uh HBO it was a Blockbuster video game for Playstation that's what's so crazy about this they were pairing they were like pairing bundles of the PS5 with the last of us like really to buy them yeah the clickers the clickers of the clickers the fact that Mario Brothers that has been out billion dollar movie since I was a baby it was yes I had a billion dollars sleep in that thing Mario Brothers has been printing money since Angel and I were children Josh they have been though your first Mario brothers were probably what Super Mario Brothers three I don't remember it was one of the Mario parties Mario Party 164. Me an Angel gaming console and C4 then you had to blow on the cartridge we got 10 years between us never felt so large yeah that boy said Mario Party [Music] that's all we had I still remember the Contra up down left right left right a b a b stars but to our Point Mario Bros one two three Mario Party N64 Mario Kart went crazy my kids Mario uh on the uh the switch [ __ ] I've the switch I was playing my switch last night now I I'm a little bit older because I got FIFA 2020 and I've never purchased another game there's been more since they're still playing my same three more but the point is the Wii U like the Wii was crazy remember you couldn't find them Nintendo went all the way back to the first controller but was like you can hold it now you can hold it no chords go like this like this terrible we playing tennis in Bowling we had the time of our the little Michael Jackson dancing when I was growing up my favorite video game was Zelda little Marcus's favorite video game they just dropped the new one too is Zelda how me being 30 years old crazy boy we love the same video game and I don't even recognize the one that he's playing uh yeah yeah but it's Zelda seal yeah I don't know how to get through that town I don't know how to move him because it's open world too so you can go wherever that's Patrick's favorite game too it's too much so you're 43 now Patrick Houston's 31 his favorite game Marcus is 13. his favorite game that's that's three different Generations wow right your Gen X patch Millennial little Marcus gen Z something or Alpha I don't know I don't know the point is that and that's just one game Call of Duty I remember when that came out NBA Live was before 2K live 2005 was Pete NBA Live dog fight night Fight Night death uh Def Jam memory [ __ ] NBA Street was one of the best games in history in the world Madden my kids don't even they don't realize that matters was her name after a person Madden not hadn't been on the cover in probably 15 years he just passed a couple years old white man that's the old white man he used to actually commentate in the game yeah and the game was sold off of his back then they made him small and put the players on there and then they took him off they said so Madden is just the name like 2K there's no connection to Jordan not have the juice in the streets when they know I was booming NBA live NBA Live 98 on Playstation was the best game ever and then somehow 2K beat them all my kids my kids had a great time on the HBCU tour the only problem they have is most hotels don't let you put your HDMI in anymore you can't make no configurations so they didn't have their game the only complaint they had is they couldn't play the game when they came home to their personal rooms and fired up that PS5 oh because they play A PS5 they play PS5 and they're not gonna carry it around it was like snorting cocaine they play that game all day play it and next thing I need you to do build up your streaming stuff talk to your friends get good at it but get the personality because a lot of the streamers they're not they all always good but they're not necessarily the best at the game like the professional people but they build audience because then people watch them games as a consumer most people would like to get I mean just like this right it's it's personality based they don't come here for the facts of everything no go to NPR but NPR and CNN it's all drive right we'll give you a more entertaining version with misinformation oh and that's how the video game is yeah that's the reason why I was like oh yeah Marcus let's get up these streams because he was over cracking jokes because y'all used to listen to everything before he could post it and when I heard his little jokes with his little lisp I said oh yeah baby we've got an angle put it up and also now they have video game teams for NBA teams they have their own video game team for 2K the Boston Celtics and they play position what can be a professional video game player for the Boston Celtics Esports team not to mention little Marcus like RDC World in them who stream and like RTC World they make sketches TV shows and streaming is just part of their uh capabilities but most of the top uh PewDiePie he was the top he's the top person on YouTube like actual person yeah he's no longer the biggest Channel some Indian channel is uh Channel based in India them Indians they got a lot of people so when they support their people they yeah take off but PewDiePie no one ever said he was the world's greatest gamer he just was interesting and entertaining to a lot of people how the hell did he make it white men can do it whatever they want to there's so many more of them PewDiePie would say they had some anti-semitic stuff I thought well there's the end of him he's like no that's why your girlfriend to be still where she at I didn't I I came to your side of the table I didn't I thought she was going to be done a ukulele girl um she gonna come back oh yeah with tap shoes but she'll still be here yeah RDC world listen talk about um no Odyssey world is um Mark Phillips Mark Phillips Supreme dreams those are so artists they are it was so funny when we were the Spider-Man Premiere I talked about this my kids met Russell Westbrook walked by them they met Gabriel Iglesias um plenty of people from Marvel that were in Spider-Man and other stuff walked by them uh so Gabriel Iglesias uh plane slowed Off The Runway no no no that's fluffy right yeah he said some with the well I can tell you after it's not a big deal Draymond Green he's okay okay and you know they were the most excited to see RDC World RDC World black kids they do sketches okay okay they take anime they create their own short films they have their own Khan they have dream con I believe it's this month and what do they talk about yeah they're still tickets it's in Austin type of stuff I love to hear about this type of stuff I like to take my son to but he's spoiled I don't want to take him nowhere else so take him to RDC world if you're gonna take him down to VidCon with them white people take them down to dream con with them black people I'll send them with y'all it was a hundred dollars a badge okay I could pay for the bad scent take them uh but anyway to my point or earlier point about having diversity amongst your things the Odyssey World they got that video game stuff they got that video game stuff and you got to have it Angel that's why I've been I'm telling you I'll be you know I'm trying to let my child be a child but I'm also like [ __ ] I'm trying to set you up for life let's get on these streams I'm like I need to see it once a week babe I understand high school's coming up it's going to be stressful I need you to stream once a week if you don't mind Josh tell me where we're at so I know where to start a new topic or do it save it for them we gotta see the bonus we're at 55 55 yeah we could either do one short one or now let's let's start over because with the ads it's gonna be more than 50 55 oh yeah yeah yeah it could be about an hour yeah okay that's perfect all right let's take a break uh well goodbye if you're watching the podcast we love you uh we gotta shoot the main episode in the bonus episode in one day today so uh tide hour for the uh for the first one uh [Music] uh New Link coming out new link coming out do we need to do link what's the new link for yeah because uh my the my patreon's in here but if you don't care I don't care today getting a new link is just starting over it's
