without unbelief sometimes you look at people you wonder should i encourage these is are they telling me the truth but just learn you have done your best you've really reached out you've ministered to them lift people's spirit bring joy to them bring encouragement to them delaying encouraging other people might even be deadly it might just make somebody just get weary by you coming and lifting bible says in hebrews 3 12 take heed brethren lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief and departing from the living god a good number of people have turned their back on the faith is because they felt discouraged although it is better to have a broken leg a prayer you didn't know if it was answered or not and make it to heaven than to say i'm leaving jesus i prayed that he should you heard that somebody attacked them or lied on them or did something to them instead of you to join those who are battering a fellow believer go and lift them up uh many years ago there used to be a guy however i remember his name i think his name was steve green he was a musician a gospel artist he eventually passed on the plane crash he wrote a song called don't shoot the wounded don't shoot the wounded they need a love no matter what they've done one day you might be one don't shoot the wounded so if you shoot the wounded because you can say well they got what they deserve that is not proper it is not okay so how do you encourage you may be asking me here are five ways to encourage your brother your sister number one be aware of what encourages you what encourages you volunteer call that really that really lifted your spirit encourage you do it do the same thing to others wasn't an appreciation of how they've been a blessing encourage you do it do it to the same people what aren't you celebrating their grace their gift their glory be better than their weakness do it no then know what a difference number two know what or rather be aware of what encourages them know what a difference it makes in your own life and use it to encourage them when you've gone through a tough time how did it mean to you when somebody became your encouragement and you do that to them matthew 7 verse 12 the bible says there for all things whatsoever you will that man should do to you do ye even sow to them for this is the law and the prophets praise god number two way to encourage other people is to encourage is that encouragement go straight to the heart encouragement goes straight to the heart encouragement goes straight to the heart it comes from the combination of end and courage so couragement and courage means to put into and means uh to put in core man's heart you know the heart is one of the worst heart is core so end quarter put inside the heart to put it inside the heart the latin word for heart is core and is also latinic for inside praise god so encore means put something inside that brother's heart put joy in their heart put favor in their hearts so encouragement means you are doing it you are doing it repeatedly for which cause we fail not but do our outward man perish yeah the inward man is renewed day by day second corinthians 4 16 encourage somebody lift them up bless them you notice them in the house of god that maybe they are always struggling as a couple oh jesus bless them minister to them reach out to them do something for them glory to god glory to god bless their life wipe their tears fill their mouth with laughter let them know somebody cares let them know somebody cares encourage me encouraging others also require that you encourage them with a reminder that jesus is coming encourage them to remember please do not forget christ is coming praise god encourage them the bible says encourage one another with these things first thessalonians chapter 4 17 and 18 say well for comfort one another with this thing but i will not have you be ignorant brethren concerning them which are asleep that you sorrow not even as others which have no hope for if we believe that jesus died and rose again even so damn also which sleeping jesus will god bring with him let me just go to verse 17 and 18 then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to make the lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the lord wherefore comfort and courage one another with these words encourage people with the reality of the jesus they believed and the fact that he's coming lift their spirit make them know that they are not alone they are never alone their journey wouldn't end in uh 57 maryland road
