Kenshi | Best Starting Base Ever! | Ep.1

hey guys welcome back to another video today we're going to be playing can't say today we're going to be showing you how to start off in cancer the best way possible you can start off as the like the basic start off like scat the adventure or whatever the way the game is intended to be played okay so the first off first thing you want to do sorry for saying the same thing but go to the shack and here you find a random sorry reese stocks every couple days i don't know who stocks it but sometimes you can find grog you can find prematic bowls all that you just take everything and sell it right price is going to sell for a lot too and this chest in here usually has good stuff or has bad stuff bad stuff is like wooden bowls and burnt folks good stuff is like grog shake cactus rum all that so let's sell it made about 800 from that yes we will be selling the wheat straw soon let me save real quick because kensei tends to crash a little bit now and this is a good way to train your lock picking as well i mean if you keep messing up messing up you're just gonna get higher and higher so that's a good way to start lock picking almost okay no okay so i might just cut back to when it's you know done okay so it just got done and this is trash this is complete trash then here you will see the lore why the holy nation get pushed out or something pretty sure let's go solve this actually i'm going to try to get the blue straw now so that was garbage that was probably the worst start ever going here i'm gonna keep the bandage so usually i buy a pick like a not a pig like a bow and go out and just start jumping people but i want to do it a little bit more easy because some people might be new to the game and they won't be able to micromanage efficiently so uh i'm not gonna do that so down here there's going to be copper right there going down there hit the cup a couple of times actually we might have enough just to do that yeah we do so you buy this building go up here if you're gonna need three building material to fix it up these shops have almost everything you need in the starting game one two three yep perfect so we're gonna build this up real quick put a research bench we gotta find some more money which we're probably just gonna go mine that copper get a couple books and uh research makeshift walls so the my best way of doing this is go to tech it really doesn't matter unless you're gonna be living in the small shack the air play through i like to line everything up i think everybody does that line that up confirm now you're going to need three more of those so the best thing to do is wait for someone to get jumped around here or go down here this copper node and mine that so we're going to mine up to five and i'll be back when we're done okay so it took us about i feel about five minutes to get that right so copper is probably the best way to make early money while getting yourself you know killed or in trouble so let's go sell it to the bar get three of that we can probably afford a book as well only two books and then we can get the base started so this real quick you know 180 a piece that's 1k yep we might not be able to afford the building materials but let me check if the movie can even afford the walls so if you don't have that i forgot and i have that you got a defense yeah we have enough so let's go get these building materials one two yeah i need a hundred so maybe bandages i'm not going to be getting attacked i don't think anytime soon and if i do i'll just mark them away build this real quick times 3 is like your best friend when it comes to so i like to keep the game as vanilla as possible so i have mods but they're not like game changing mods there's nothing crazy like genesis or whatever i don't like that's like the base game it's against it right forget about that let me put that in there go to silver research makeshift walls do that it will take it tells you six hours so it's it's basically the waiting game early game for researching building grinding then usually around this sixth day you usually start training your stats for me i mean by time six day the sixth day comes around i i start knocking people out in the hub and i usually i know this is kind of cheesy i would uh knock someone out right here get them aggroed on me run over here to the ninja guard and they would attack them and i would sell their armor and some of them have cat and swords so you make a decent amount of money but that's i might not do that it's really cheesy but this base is probably the best space you'll ever have early game i mean you're going to get copper and you're going to get iron and the security of your base and you can start a couple farms and i mean it's real good i honestly think it's good you can even start like a grog place right there so let's we just gotta wait so i might not i might i don't know but i i don't want to like spend i might do it i might just show the because at first i was just going to show i was just going to make a tutorial about how to make an easy base in the starting but i think it's just turned into like a little playthrough so i guess we can deal with play through this play through it show you guys what i do and yeah okay so i will i'ma wait again until the storage boxes are done and then we can go back to show you what the perfect bases it's not the biggest base it is small and but the enemies won't attack you because there's a little trick i do and you're safe you just have to have camping bags i mean that's it which only six hundred gold but you're going to be married by iron and a copper node so that's going to be easy money so you go right about here pause go here go to a small shack get it as close as you can starting from the metal node so here all right okay confirm unpause pause the walls swamp fence makeshift walls boom green so all you got to do is wall it off now i usually wall off the entire thing but if you're trying to save on mats you can just fall off the cliff side you know so they can't get past but i kind of like the looks of a kind of like a fort right here but look at that like this is a god dear base it's not the biggest base but it's a good base okay i would put the gate right here about so your men can just run back and forth from the copper boom you have a secured base you have copper right outside your gate or and you have iron i mean you can start a blacksmith right here i mean you can there's enough room for farmland right there or right there iron and frying rings i mean and so when you get attacked they only are going to go to this building because it's a house they don't go over here and loot your stuff over here they only lose this stuff they can't they will come in here if you have food storages and all that but if it's just like storage boxes you ain't gonna get attacked right there so yeah that's it for that i'm gonna call this place the alamo that's what i always call this space okay i'm starting the lag now the expensive part is building it so i will cut back once we have everything built okay we're about to hit number five on the floor we're gonna go get some more building materials and start this section of the wall so if there's bandits coming they're not really gonna see us so we can just like go you know sneak sneak right there put a or deposit now or deposit a uh or storage right there and just like afk mine and get a ton of money like that so that's what we're probably gonna do go back pause sometimes my game crashes for no reason i'll just be running up a slope and my commuters like nope you are not gonna see another day you can say so the background noise in my house might be a little obsessive i don't think it's that bad right now but i can't tell because i have headphones on yeah okay as long as i have enough for one plate we're good a piece of pandas another right here outlaws if i had my crossbow attack one but i don't so at first like i said everything's gonna be slow and it's gonna be really repetitive but i mean safest thing to do right now is this it's probably the i honestly think is the best starting base again so you got iron you got copper and you have enough room in here to start a farm the enemies won't attack you because they only head for the houses unless you have food storage up here that's when they will attack you but you don't have any of that stuff i mean it's like a money pool basically it's passive income he just had to sell it to the bar keepers yeah you might hear a vacuum i apologize for that i don't know why they are doing it it's broken so it just makes a lot of unnecessary noise but visit i'll beast here real quick talk to these guys show me your goods i'm gonna do one more over here i'm gonna do that oh hopefully this corner connects to the wall and it's just not a single corner it's a single corner i hate when i does that i have no idea why it does that but this one should be a full steer your by two shops well if you're playing vanilla you buy one shop and one shop down there but i have t.o.w take over the world i just think it makes those dead villages a little bit more alive i'm sure good buy the last one of that buy one of those you're basically good i'm gonna buy a bandage just in case i do get jumped nine out of ten times is going to be hungry bandits but sometimes it will be dust bandits so you get attacked by dust bandits starving abandons and uh black dragon genies whatever jenny whatever you call them the hardest or the black dragons dust bandits are they're not very hard to kill but early on we you're no stat man this it's very hard to kill so you can still get in from that which i don't like but i i don't care okay so make sure this is actually mine yep so you go to this storage or right here we can do it at the corner and if you build too close to this i know it sounds stupid but it's going to be property of the hubs because we're kind of in their zone so i would build it all the way back here until it says your fraction name which mine is the growlers i kind of want to do like a gang thing so that's what it's going to be and you just go sneak right here and you're going to get past them do that set that as your job so how you set it as your job you hold down shift and you right click and that signs your job so if you did
