they could be in the place of service some people said they clocked last night and didn't wake up this morning hallelujah some people are still grieving all of the lost ones and they're going through so many things but we just want to encourage you this morning that it's going to be okay it's going to be all over in the morning the bible says that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning hallelujah hallelujah and it's just a little song that we just want to encourage wherever you are wherever you are you just gotta know it's gonna be okay and it's gonna be all over in the your presence here today won't you join us as we lift up god in prayer as we pray as the lord taught his disciples to pray our father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever amen would you please remain standing for our our cnbc bible application pledge followed by our morning scripture we believe that faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of god we can't just listen to or read god's word we must do what it says otherwise we are only fooling ourselves for it is in the application of god's word that our lives will be changed so lord grant us the courage and the discipline to do what your word says we declare and decree we will never be the same in jesus name amen once you remain standing out of reverence and respect for god's word again turn with me to the book of beginnings the book of genesis the book of beginnings the 18th chapter and the 14th verse i will also be reading from jeremiah chapter number 32 verse number 17. but again genesis 18 14 whether you are on your app whether you're on your cell phone whether you are in the written word again turn with me to genesis 18 14. and if you don't have a bible won't you be so kind as to go and um hook up with someone and those that do please share your word with them amen again genesis chapter 18 verse 14 says is there anything too hard for the lord i will return to you at the appointed time next year and sarah will have a son now turn with me very quickly to jeremiah chapter number 32 verse number 17. it says ah lord behold thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out thy arm and there is nothing too hard for thee i want to preach from this a clause today of genesis chapter number 18 verse 14. is there anything too hard for the lord i want y'all help me preach this text turn to somebody and say is there anything too hard for the lord no no that's a question turn to somebody else and say is there anything too hard for the lord hallelujah you may be seated in the presence of the lord for a few moments since the virginia day i want to preach from this thought is there anything too hard for god now let the words of mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight o lord my strength and redeemer let all of god's people say amen is there anything too hard for god that that is the the question that i want us to ponder um for the time that is allotted for us to share today is there anything too hard for god my brothers and sisters in the world today we are facing a lot of crisis a lot of of issues racism injustice in equalities a pandemic 19 wars and rumors of wars violence black on black brown on brown white on white young on the old unemployment under employment death poverty divorce sickness disease global warming climate change uncontrolled weather peace in the middle east and when we look at the world with all its trials its troubles its tribulation its headaches and heartaches we sometimes ask the question deacon maurice thomas where is god and and and why doesn't he do something is it that god is not able or is the situation too large too difficult or too hard for our god in our text god told abraham that he was going to have a son in his old age and abraham uh minister leo england abraham was skeptical and his wife sarah laughed and the angel of the lord came unto the man of god abraham and he poses a question he says is there anything too hard for the lord first my brothers and sisters let us observe the positioning of the question you see the positioning of the question uh jalen jenae the positioning of the question is intentional and deliberate you see the angel of the lord asked abraham is there anything too hard for the lord you see my brothers and sisters taser he he asked the question at the onsite of the dialogue and notice the question comes before the situation notice that the question often comes to us like this to determine my brothers and sisters the level of faith that we have in god and and and my brothers and sisters and my brothers and sisters uh uh sometimes god often often uh ask us some questions um especially uh questions that that that that that that that that deals with faith he often asks us these questions to determine our level of faith and our level of confidence in god because a no to this question is there anything too hard for god or to lift up your confidence the no to this question is there anything too hard for god or to inspire and lift up your faith is there anything too hard for god and if your answer is no then my question to you is why are you tripping if the answer to this question is no then why are you scared if the answer to the question is no why are you panicking if the answer to the question lavonya is no then why are you stressing over the small stuff is there anything too hard for god go on and talk to one another i know y'all got your mask on but ask yourself ask your neighbor say neighbor old neighbor is there anything you got to say it let aloud because they can't hear you behind they can't read lips when you got your mask on is there anything too hard for god now now i'm almost done here brother june but uh but but he he asked the question he asked the question he he says is there anything too hard for god but what i want you to do is notice this notice abraham doesn't say nothing oh yeah now we're at the point where i i talked to brother maurice right here you see you see he asks the question and notice he doesn't answer and here's why is there anything too hard for god are you listening my reason the reason why he doesn't answer it is because it's what's called a rhetorical question you know you got to throw some big words out there for brother maurice every once in a while a rhetorical question a rhetorical question a rhetorical question for those who don't know is a question asked in order to create a dramatic effect or to make a point rather than to get an answer are you listening today preach philips i think i will in other words a rhetorical question is ass it is because watch this because he wants to have a dramatic effect or or to make a point rather than to get in other words it assumes the answer is obvious it assumes deacon miller that that you already know the answers to the question god told abraham that he was going to have a son at almost 100 years old oh yes his hair is gray they call abraham the silver fox and and and and his wife sarah was was was was old too and and and the bible says that they had ceased to be with one another uh abraham has ceased to be with his wife after the the the similitude of other women are you listening so in other words they was having no no sex and if they were having no intimacy then there was really no possibility for them to to have but the question is is there anything too hard for god and the answer the angel of the lord asked him is there anything too hard for the lord and and that leads us to our second text and later in jeremiah he answers the question jeremiah says there is nothing too hard for thee oh yes oh yes now i had you talking to one another but now i want you to talk to god i want you to look into the heavens and say lord there's nothing too hard for thee no no i'm saying i said lord there's nothing too hard for thee the sickness i'm dealing with there's nothing too hard for me this money funny to change strange there's nothing too hard for thee people acting all crazy there's nothing too hard for thee unemployed all nine void walking around like you put it back there's nothing too hard for thee you see my brothers and sisters and there's no prayer answer you see my brothers and sisters in jesus matthew jesus said in matthew 21 22 and all things whatsoever you ask in prayer believing you shall receive and when you ask in prayer and believe you shall receive you see my brothers and sisters there's no prayer too hard for god for there is nothing too hard for thee listen there's no problem too hard for god to solve you see our god specializes in things that seem impossible so the bible says that with god all things are possible and without him nothing is impossible are you listening today you see my brothers and sisters not only is there no no prayer too hard for god to answer there is no problem to god too hard for god to solve but there's also no person too hard for god to save can i get a witness here i said there's no no person too hard for god to save you see my brothers and sisters the bible says that we are all as dirty as filthy rags can i get a witness here and if it had not been for the lord who was on our side we would all be out there hallelujah that's why i like when doris and singh says could have been me outdoors with no food no clothes all alone without a friend uh just another number with a trash again but you didn't see fit to let none of these things be so i can tell by your power you keep on saving me you see i was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore very deeply stained within seeking to rise no more but the master of the sea heard my despair and cry and from the waters he lifted me now safe am i i said it would love that lifted me when nothing else could help her i said it was love that lifted me you see you don't know my story all the things that i've been through lord have mercy you didn't see what i had to go through just to get here can i get a witness here but thank god i don't look like what i've been through say yeah say yeah so as i get ready to close today you see there's no prayer too hard for god to answer there is no problem too hard for god to solve there's no person too hard for god to save turn in your neighbor and say neighbor oh neighbor you're looking at a miracle i'm an x something can i get a witness here but tell them say my testimony is i don't look like what i've been through say yes hallelujah and then the last thing cause we got this business meeting to tend to the last thing is that there's no problem too hard for god to keep for he's a waymaker he's a miracle worker i said my god is a promise keeper won't he do it i said it won't he do it you see so i'm standing on the promises of jesus and i've decided to believe he'll do just what he said no more doubt or disbelief that causes my faith to decrease so i learn to depend upon this word i'll take him at his word i'll trust and never doubt i'll stand upon his promises because in a time of trouble i said he'll bring me out won't he do it won't he do it i said i'm standing on the promises of christ my king to eternal ages let his promises ring can i get a witness here i declan decree lord i believe that all things are possible and with thee nothing is impossible i close here today and ask you the question what are you going through what has you up at night what has your tears are flowing like niagara falls what has your pillow drenched with tears what you stressing about what you worried about what you tripping about is there anything too hard for god is there anything too hard for god hallelujah he'll raise the sick he'll raise the dead he'll heal the sick he'll feed hungry people won't he do it won't he do it the doors of the church open is there anything is there anything too hard for god say anything too hard for god you don't know my story the doors of the church open all the things you come through you can come as a candidate for water baptism you can upon your christian experience won't you come wills under whatsoever condition [Music] there is nothing too hard for our god he can save anybody [Music] salvation is the greatest miracle won't you come listen god gave his only begotten son he allowed him to die on calvary's cross for your sin and my sin we may not have to pay the penalty his salvation gave us eternal life all you have to do is accept believe and receive accept believe and receive accept jesus as your personal lord and savior believe that he is the son of god and that he died and who's raised on the third day just as the scripture says and open up your heart for he's standing at the door knocking don't try won't you come now listen if you've accepted believed and received now all you got to do is pray this prayer dear lord jesus i confess my sins i believe in you i accept you i receive you now lord i ask you to be my lord and savior order my steps according to your will your word in your way thank you for saving me today now god i serve you take my hands take hard for thee oh come on see sometimes we we be focusing on the problem but sometimes we got to look at the problem someone said there's nothing there's nothing there's nothing that's nothing too hard pray for mother mary b jones mother gladys fair deacon maurice thomas who's here in the house sister virginia norris sister brother gregory norris sister ruthie stubbs sister ella smith and sister fanny stubbs who are in the house please continue to keep our city in your prayers with the warmer weather and then with all this rain there's an uptick of violence so pray for our government leaders as they make decisions to combat this violence and this dissension especially within our local government pray for our city hall and our gov our mayor so that they can come to a consensus with the things that they have to decide on for us as a people we ask that you continue to keep the smith family and the bethlehem temple families in your prayers in the passing of dr jonathan smith who's the brother of pastor jeffrey smith obviously the son of um first lady smith they had he passed last week and his services will be on wednesday in um st louis and then also keep deacon jack whetstone and his family in your prayers he passed and his services will be tomorrow at bethlehem temple so the church has a lot going on this week he has to do a service then bury his brother so please keep the smith family and the bethlehem temple family in your prayer we also ask that you keep the walker and the james families in your prayers in the passing of marvin long marvin long is a cousin of the walker family please continue to pray and pray without ceasing our announcements excuse me join us wednesday for prayer meeting at 6 00 a.m and 6 30 p.m and then our bible study at 7 pm we will stream on zoom and then the women will be celebrating our annual women's day in a month a month from today sunday july 25th yeah that's right clap y'all women men too y'all better be clapping the theme for women's day is women walking worthy our thing comes from ephesians 4 1-3 we will have four many sermonettes from four of our women this year to expound on our theme so we're keeping it in the house so we want you to come out our colors are yellow and white our seed offering is 70 and we want everyone to support us we've had two fundraisers so far we had a paint party that i think the ladies really enjoyed that we're going to redo and then we also had a popcorn sale the double good popcorn sale if you didn't get a chance to participate i'm sorry but we're gonna try to do it again but we raised over eighteen hundred dollars in four days so that's not bad so think about if all of us do it what we can do so that is something that we're going to do again because we do want to continue to support the ministry and everything we do we will meet again um and that meeting will be in july it's the second uh monday in july if i'm not mistaken it's july the 12th so please put that date on your calendar our next event we will have a workout day hey hey we'll be doing zumba and line dancing that's gonna be fun right i don't care what shape you're in you can do that and then we'll have healthy snacks to follow so women's month is coming up for july so we want you all to participate and our man we want you to participate to our your assessment is 35 dollars okay yeah y'all supposed to applaud today after morning service about 10 minutes uh after morning service we will have our mid-year town hall meeting the agenda as well as the minutes were emailed to you i will try to run some off so that we have them available for those that are in the building but please stay the agenda is not long but there is business of importance and we do want you all to participate so that you
