I'm Taking A Long Break... Don't Miss This Livestream

did it again one more time okay we did a long live stream today man and you know we had a lot of fun definitely go check that out um but just wanted to do a quick video to let you guys know i'm taking a long break okay it's gonna be like a month long break and it's really to just adjust a lot of things that i have to do within my businesses and you know do a couple of things here with the internships for the interns and a lot of stuff so i'm gonna invest a lot of my time i kind of said this a few days ago now this video this video that you're watching right now type of videos you really enjoy about coding face okay let me know below on the comment section i need you guys to really go hard if you're watching this at least a minute two minutes three minutes whatever it is okay i will be posted on youtube um later on um it should be here in the next few minutes uh but like i said you know i'm gonna take a little break this whole month of february i just want to get a lot of stuff done um i gotta look at a lot of stuff for like my finances you know i gotta pay taxes i gotta go over all all of those things right to save some money we gotta stack up okay also too uh we got a lot of stuff that that's happening on the month of february we got the news course which is uh basically entrepreneur developer we also have a brand new refresh of the javascript course we also have a new course for salesforce which is coming out um for those of you guys are interested in that okay again everything that i create here is for you guys to get a bag and to have success and to be able to just be good okay so i just i can't do live stream no more unless i have a time limit right like because the the thing is that i love hanging out with you guys so much that sometimes i'm just talking and hanging out with you guys for like two hours three hours and to be honest with you i can't do that no more i can't because i have a lot of people that's that's waiting on me to to get things done for them and and like i have like i said multiple businesses that i just can't disappear for three hours and you know um and on top of that i gotta give time to my kids and stuff like that so i'm like you know what i gotta stay away from live streams and it's gonna be very hard very very hard because i love hanging out with you guys you guys don't even know you guys are my highlight of the day okay you guys are my highlight okay like i'm telling you guys right now you guys are my highlight of the day like everything i do throughout the day it's cool but it's not as cool as i get to hang out with you guys but i really really need to get a lot of stuff done so we can start this year off the proper way and the best way is like i gotta stay away from live streams i can't do two three hours in a day no more i can't um invest my time on that so what i want to do for you guys is i want you guys to come in leave a comment on this video this is gonna be a live stream right now yo i'm going live i'm i'm deleting the youtube app for my phone this this is when you know you got a problem this yo you gotta go through social media uh how you call this thing social media uh uh like what's that word when people go in uh or like they they don't want to relapse right you start getting the stomach pains and [ __ ] like that that's how i feel with you guys man i just love hanging out with you guys okay um again i consider every single one of you guys like friends and it's like family members people that i come here and i get to talk to and hang out with but i want to go and focus on the things that i need to focus on and the only way to really do it is by taking a whole month off of doing live streams because i don't mind doing a video you know like a video i could go in knock that out in an hour 25 minutes 30 minutes but live streams i can't be doing three hours in a day um again a lot of people are are you know depending on me and you know i just can't it's like right now you know we did like what three hours three hours and a half today and then i was like man like it's five o'clock already it's like there goes the day you know what i mean like now i gotta go cook for my kids take care of family go to the supermarket we was missing some some sauce so i needed to go to do that and now i just finished eating with the family and stuff and you know me and my wife going back at it and it's like yo you got to take a break from doing live streams like you know i mean because it's hard to come into a live stream and just be like okay guys here's two three minutes of my time and then just disappear it's hard because i'm it's an interactive uh live stream it's like we're going back and forth we're answering questions we're talking about different topics etc and next thing you know it's three hours um but what i want to do for you guys is i want to make sure that i create the content that you guys want for this whole month but look this is what i'm gonna tell you guys right don't slack don't slack don't come in and like well joe's not doing no more live streams for this whole month um i'm just going to come in and watch whatever video whenever i can nah show me the same love when you see that notification that video comes up watch it okay another thing too if like i said leave from the comment section exactly the video that you want me to create okay if only 20 people come in and leave a comment then i'm only going to do 20 videos right if you want to see a video every single day leave a type of uh video that you want me to do so i could do it for you guys okay uh yeah man ram says joe's live streams is my medicine to fight against depression please don't stop doing it i just need this month this one month okay it's just i have a lot of stuff that i got to do um and those three hours believe it or not three hours two hours one hour they're very precious this is is it's hours that i can't get from anywhere else right i can't just be like well today we're going to make a 27 hour day like there is no 27 hour day you only get 24 hours um so i'm splitting my time between my family between you guys and also to coding phase and then 87 lux and also too with my kids and all the stuff i'm like i need to have a structure to this um and this month i'm gonna figure out exactly how i want to do it and don't worry when we come back and we do another live stream it's gonna be uh super cool super you know informative you know we're gonna be dropping gems we're gonna be talking about the new projects that we're building with 87 lux we're going to be talking about where our businesses is at right now and also too we're going to be talking about uh the new courses that are on codingface.com right so it's going to be a pretty cool little break okay it's just to get my [ __ ] together okay because like i said man i just gotta go through messed up man and i was like thinking about man i can't be doing two hours three hours at all i can't it just takes too long um and at the same time like i want to give you guys like like look like today we talked about we took three four even more than that probably like four or five or six topics like all of that could have been a separate video on each and most people probably missed out on a lot of the things that we we talked about on that live stream and you know i want to go in and create the videos for each one okay for every single one um like those type of topics like that and topics that you guys gonna leave here in the comment section i want to make sure that i give you guys what you guys deserve give you guys 100 of of me and and what i do here um i know people love the live streams you know i love the live streams but we gotta take a break we gotta take a break we have to we gotta go freaking rehab the live stream rehab okay guys we're gonna have to go through it live stream rehab man okay withdrawals yeah we're gonna be going through withdrawals social media withdrawals [Music] yeah bro um yeah sean says i hope you should check your email yeah i'm gonna go through my email that's one of the things that i want to do yeah man uh yeah static quota says i'm trying to see you hit that 1 million so if you vanish for a bit to give an insane amount or focus of business we understand women this year bro yeah man that's the goal man that's the goal i want to hit a million even i don't hit it if i could you know hit up 800 or 900 then that would be a good lesson because we're almost there um but i just want to make sure that 87 lux succeeds okay i got child coats working on some projects i gotta give him some time so we can see how everything's going with his project i got this kid angel designer i got to go in you know work with him so we could come up with a couple of designs for the company you know we also got to launch the new website 87 lux which i kind of wanted to talk about this a little bit before i leave um but just the same way how i've been able to get like a whole bunch of different clients uh for myself there's a whole bunch of people that hit me up all the time like random emails like hey man uh will you be able to work on this project will you be able to do this isn't that so i'm thinking about creating like a job board section in in 87 lux now i got this idea this is not nothing new but this is very similar to the company that used to hire me which was creative circle so creative circle was really easy for for developers and designers and then when they will have jobs and like contract work they will post it on there on the job board and then from there people will be able to submit um their resumes and submit their skills to there and then from there you will get a job that's it right it could be a nine month contract it'll be six months contract so i'm thinking about doing that to 87 lux i'm gonna add that feature that's something that i want to focus on in the next two three weeks to make sure that as i get clients and random people even if it's like you know you might say oh what can i do with five hundred dollars you know because some some people are woojie here some people are budget they've been like well i want to work at google and this isn't that and how should we get paid 200 000 whatever hell they want to get paid but the truth is that when you're learning how to code you know getting a job or giving getting like a contract work that might pay you you know two thousand three thousand dollars to work on on a project for maybe a month or two or like even more than you know less than that right it could be like something that could be like 500 right for some people they look down on that i'm a hustler i don't look down on any of that right i see all of that as opportunities for you to make money so i get those type of messages all the time of like hey can you build this for me can you uh do this and that can you work on this project i can't build anything right now for anybody so what i want to do is i want to put this thing like a um i don't know if it's like a job board or like a a gig board where when you go to 87 lux not only do you get to see all of our products but then if you are a developer um and you had extra time and you want to work on a real project and get paid for it then from there you could click on there apply send your resume send your your your paperwork whatever it is your portfolio and from there you can apply for it for that gig it could be 500 could be a thousand could be 100 could be 200 depending on whatever it is right and we will handle the the the payment and then we will pay you okay so that's something that i want to get into and of course like i gotta build all of that uh before i was just gonna make 87 lux into a static web then i said you know what i'm getting a lot of people like it's especially now when once we start dropping these new videos by the way if you haven't subscribed to 87 lux guys subscribe to 87 lux um so you could see how we're actually marketing a lot of the products um but at the same time i have a lot of people that watch this channel that are not developers right when i create content about shopify those type of videos people from all type of world uh you know backgrounds it's watching those videos there's people that have uh you know they have like drop shipping stores there's people that don't marketing there's people that um that do what type of different um career paths on their own but they have clients or they have projects that they want to work on and they send me emails they'd be like hey man you know anybody who could build me a website about this do you know anybody that can build me a custom application for shopify do you know any other [ __ ] you know what i mean like so now i can't build it for them and i've been saying no for like the past you know three years and a half four years now what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna tell them hey you know what go to 87 looks and post your gig in there so then my students and the people are that are subscribers of mine can apply to it everybody that's watching me is is pretty you know pretty legit and and people that are students of mines are pretty legit so they can do this the same [ __ ] that i'm gonna do for you they could do for you you're gonna say so because i can't tell like right now i can't take like right now i look at my email i got like three four different companies hitting me up like oh they want me to work on on on projects that are like less than a thousand dollars right now for me i don't need that money right now i i can't work on something that's a thousand dollars right now but some of you guys might look at that and say oh that's an opportunity that's a way that i could make some bread that's a way for i could put something real into my portfolio so at the end of the day of course you know this is business it's a yo this is i gotta get a bag i'm i'm bringing the people to you you know what i mean so of course we're gonna have a 20 like with your managers type [ __ ] right you know you apply to the gig you get the gig we get twenty percent it's a thousand dollars we get two hundred dollars you know what i'm saying like that's just the truth yo i'm about my bag bro would you thought this [ __ ] was um you know mother teresa like what you do this mother theresa face nah this is cody phase i gotta get a bag too if i bro if i brought you a thousand i gotta get 200 back you know what i mean so i love you guys man uh but yeah man so that's something that i'm gonna do uh and add it to 87 lux right now um website's gonna launch i think on wednesday so that's gonna be very interesting and there the new gig board section i don't know if i should put a job board or a gig board or gigs i don't know why i'm gonna name it but it's gonna be there so forever for whenever you guys uh that feel like you could do it like there's going to be projects like oh that might be full laravel there might be something just a static website there might be just a section where somebody says you know it's like one of my old clients hit me up the other day it's like yo can you change the price on the menu we changed the the the sandwich from from eight dollars to nine dollars and fifty cents right like you could charge on that that's a that's a quick 25 30 bucks right just to go in there change the html like this is the truth right like this is a super simple ass thing but people hit me up like yo as if i'm still freelancing and working on small projects i don't have the time so if i could be the middleman and get you you know some money in your pocket for some simple simple project say why not you know and i get my little 25 20 20 25 percent i don't know well i'll choose 20 that'll be nice you know i mean i'll be nice 20 what's 20 somebody do the math for me what's 20 of like 25 dollars yo who's 20 of 25 somebody doing math for me 25 times point two five five dollars okay five dollars there you go i'll get my little five dollars off that yeah man yeah bro so um yeah man non-traditional texas playing with my money is like playing with my emotions yeah bro so so that's what we're gonna be doing man i'm gonna take a little quick break so i can really focus and set all of these things up for you guys um yeah man and let's get this back man like that's what we're here for i don't know what people are seeing for i don't know what other people is here for but we about that bag bro like we didn't get to this [ __ ] i mean when look not for that i mean when i sat down on this [ __ ] car i bought nothing it wasn't even like whatever but bro i was [ __ ] packing packing like meat like a few years ago i was packing meat i was the guy in the on the parking lot asking the big boys like yo how what you do sir you know how that that dude on shows over like hey what do you do with that you're driving in this ferrari and this doesn't that out that dude i used to be asking people questions like oh what do you do dreaming of all this stuff and like now i'm in a spaceship kiddo you know i mean like bro you know i mean out here in the wawa you know so yeah bro but we we know we was gonna be here but the only way to get here is by working hard and if i want to get into what i want to get to by the end of the year which is you know the higher level tier of developers and entrepreneurs we got to work hard and i gotta cut out whatever distractions whatever i gotta cut out i gotta cut out and like i already said i've been waking up like 10 11 o'clock in the morning i need to wake up at four o'clock in the morning wake up at four okay every single day that's when everybody's sleeping work on my projects do what i gotta do okay you know and do what i have to do all day all day until seven eight o'clock at night and then eat something with the family and then get back to it the next day but this is grind time season bro because i'm telling you guys like what we're doing right now is gonna really make a difference man not only with coding phase but at the same time is its personal goals that i have you know personal goals that i have that i've been wanting to to achieve you know and and for me to get there is by really just working hard and getting back into that zone of working 12 hours a day 16 hours a day and i have to do it that's it if i want to get to where i want to get to i need to work 12 to 16 hours a day for the next three years for 87 lux to really succeed i need to crank out at least at a minimum two to three themes per month and at least one application per month and then from there continue to scale that every single month every single month so then in two years from now we could look back and be like damn we put in that work now we good and then we now we just we'll both laugh me and you will be laughing in a beat laughing about this [ __ ] like yo you remember when i [ __ ] i just went hard for like two years right like that's what we got to do you know i mean um but yeah man uh poggy says make your 87 looks like upwork and fiber yeah man that i mean that's the plan but something similar to that but i don't want to go in and have like man different jobs i wanted that when people hit me up for different random jobs i could just post it in there or have them posted automatically and then you know you guys can go in because you guys are part of the community you guys could go in and and just take up those gigs you know um indeed stop watching youtube so heating up my time yeah man i'll show you on that uh rule number one joe don't speak about it about your blog niche yeah rule number one don't say yep i know i don't my niche websites i don't talk about it i hope that nobody goes in if you guys need to websites don't don't talk about it man uh let me see coach who's gorge uh let me see i'm grinding yeah everybody's grinding right now bro yeah this this
