What a heartbreaker for Lucka, my goodness!

Who is the woman who joined in with the commenting?

Nevermind, new viewers were just welcomed: it's Shauna Coxsey

Problematic route setting in the women's lead final. The shorter climbers were at a clear disadvantage I felt...

What a comeback for Mia! I feel so bad for Lucka. If Ai Mori climbed higher than Mia (which was very likely), Lucka would’ve gotten the Olympic qualification and not Mia.

Absolutely bummed for Lucka, losing her place because of a stopper move is heartbreaking. On the flip side, it was really good having Shauna commentating.

Well that took a surprising turn re: Lucka Rakovec and Mia Krampl. Also, does anyone know if Miho Nonaka has been issued an Olympic invite? They kept saying on the commentary that the Japanese team have filled their quota already, which is a bit confusing given that there were Japanese athletes participating in this event.

I feel like this scoring system is starting to show it's issues.

SPOILERS AHEAD!

If you look at the final scores, the girl in 5th place finished LAST in 2/3 events and the girls in 7th and 8th places had a more well rounded score overall.

Then take the two Slovenians, the one who gets the invite clearly did worst on average with 2 7th place finishes, while the one with two 3rd place finishes did worse?

I mean rules are rules I guess, but this format is clearly as ridiculous in practice as it was predicted in theory since announcing it.

Could somebody explain why the Japanese climbers sent more athletes to Toulouse if their slots were full? During the comp, Charlie said Futaba Ito and Ai Mori wouldn't be going, even though Ito won.

Will spots be offered to 9th, 10th or 11th place since two Japanese and one Slovenian climber cannot be invited? Does Japan still have the right to choose from their 4 qualified athletes? I was confused by this situation. I haven't seen this explained anywhere I can find online; most sources simply say the top 20 who aren't already qualified would be invited to Toulouse. Yet I would be surprised that climbers could be sent to the top 8 who were guaranteed to be staying home from Tokyo.
