I Watched Batman v Superman in 0.25x Speed and Here's What I Found

[Music] hey everyone this is the canadian land and today i've watched batman v superman at point25x speed and found 28 new details that he might have missed at a regular speed so without any further ado let's begin number one if you watch this movie then you already know the scene where batman blocks superman's hooks and uppercuts now notice earlier in the film bruce wayne can be seen in the bat cave watching footage captured during superman's fight with zod from man of steel and that's exactly how superman's fighting patterns like the right hook of the right uppercut had been memorized by bruce wayne number two for his fight with superman bruce wayne used a couple of smoke grenades to distort superman's vision but notice when he was preparing them it's labeled with an uppercase p and a lowercase b now we learned in school that pb is led in the periodic table and according to the comics lead is the only thing superman can't see through number three when batman goes to save martha he gets shot multiple times but i noticed the mother of all details here i might be stretching a little bit but notice when batman and iron man get shot and the bullet deflects off of their suit it's literally the same animation number four just before the battle of batman v superman batman activated the sonic cannons and high frequency sound wave that started hitting superman but if you look carefully you'll see the wave is blowing the puddles away therefore leaving it slightly drier where it hit so credits must be given for this very accurate and realistic detail number five barry aka flash is holding a bottle of milk in the security footage he lifts the bottle behind as he takes out the thug and catches the bottle before he drops a fraction of an inch watching the scene in slow motion shows that the bottle begins to fall ever so slightly but he catches it almost immediately number six at this point we know that kryptonite has no effect on humans but upon this re-watch i just noticed it glows very bright when it's near a kryptonian number 7 if you didn't know this thing is called the world engine we salvaged what we could armor weapons even a world engine now let's hear how this world engine sounds now that you know how it sounds you'll hear the exact same noise each time bruce wayne has a nightmare this actually symbolizes bruce wayne's ptsd number 8 superman gets surrounded by people during the day of the dead celebration which mirrors a scene from man of steel where he was drowning in skulls in a dream so the vision he was shown in man of steel turned out to be true in the best way possible number nine when superman dies who is heavily typified as a christ figure throughout the movie if you notice in the background three telephone poles are put in a way that resembles the three crosses number 10 lex luthor resents god for not saving him from his abusive father now notice when doomsday attempts to attack luther superman saves him meaning a god is saving luther from the fist of his own abomination number 11 from the moment lex luthor sets the timer to one hour it is exactly one hour until the end of the movie number 12 because zod's body was used in the creation of doomsday doomsday has the same scar that zod used to have in man of steel number 13 when clark wanted to do a story on batman perry white stopped him but clark kept defending his actions saying that's the point of the daily planet now notice what perry says to clerk when the planet was founded it stood for something perry so could you if it was 1938 but it's not 1938. he said if it was 1938 he would have been doing the right thing now superman made his debut in the comics in 1938 number 14 there's a lake by bruce wayne's house now the shape of this lake looks like a symbol but i'll leave it up to you lads to tell me what comes to your mind right off the bat number 15 throughout the film we see bruce wayne walking aimlessly through the fields it's not until the end after superman's sacrificed that bruce is finally shown walking away on a clear path indicating that he was aimless before but not anymore number 16 lex luthor is captain balleriev prison exactly where suicide squad takes place coming to my next detail number 17 luther is referred as prisoner ac23 1940. prisoner ac 23 1940. the warden wants to speak to you so stand to your feet no lex luthor's first appearance was action comics issue 23 in 1940. number 18 batman in armored suit appears eye to eye in several shots with superman but when superman gets hit with kryptonite batman appears to be much bigger than him zack snyder actually wanted batman to be taller and a bit more imposing than superman it's pretty consistent throughout the film but i'm assuming feeling gravity for the first time might have caused superman to slouch a little bit number 19 we can see a picture of superman lifting a car on the wall this photo is a direct reference to the first appearance of the man of steel on the cover of the first action comics number 20 when we are introduced to lex luthor he's playing basketball later in the movie batman attacked lexcorp to steal kryptonite but notice he also deflates luthor's basketball number 21 when batman is having a nightmare he shoots a lot of bad guys and then throws his gun after running out of bullets now batman is using m1911 here which has eight rounds of bullets and in this scene bruce wayne shoots exactly eight times before throwing his gun number 22 after the capital bombing superman leaves the area with anger and frustration but one thing i noticed is that as soon as superman breaks the sound barrier there's a sonic boom here's how it sounds number 23 when doomsday attempts to smash batman he quickly escapes but while doing so bruce wayne does the iconic dark knight pose from frank miller's the dark knight returns number 24 the trigger controlling the batmobile's turret is built over a second seat implying batman's use of lethal force in this movie is something he had only recently started doing number 25 at the end of the movie the planes are performing the missing man formation for superman which is an aerial salute at a funeral to honor the dead or the missing in this case superman is both dead and missing at the same time number 26 when we see batman's origin we can see the wayne family coming out of the theater that says the movie excalibur coming this wednesday the reason zack snyder put this reference is because the ending of both movies showed the hero impaling themselves to stab the main villain number 27 the first and the last shot of this movie are of coffins number 28 towards the end we're shown a montage of people mourning superman's death one of the shot contains perry white picking up the newspaper of the following day but look at the title of an article on the back side that reads batman befriends superman near the end and that's it this was my breakdown of batman with superman at this is reaching. he's batman. he knows how to block a punch. that's really all it is. it's just slowed down now b/c of kryptonite in superman's system. everyone, including myself, loves to see things that aren't there.
