I Played 200 Days of Stardew Valley

i played 200 days of stardew valley this is a continuation of a video i made a while back where i played 100 days of stardew valley so the link to that video is in the description if you want to go watch that first before coming back to this one my initial goal this time was to get as close as possible to true perfection which means shipping every crop catching every fish buying millions of gold worth of specialty buildings and tons more massive achievements will i be able to juggle all this at once or am i in way over my head oh my god oh my god oh my god i suppose we'll have to find out so i divided my 100 days video into one section per season but since this time i'm starting from winter 17th that would be kind of awkward so i'm just gonna give each section super vague movie titles to make me feel better this video took around 75 hours and over three months to put together so i would really really appreciate it if you could watch it all the way through and then drop a like if you enjoy all right without further ado here are my 200 days of stardew valley [Music] on day 101 i begin by throwing a bunch of random stuff in the bin since i'm trying to ship every item you've probably noticed i have some mods on they're the same ones as the ones i used in my 100 days video so you can check out the description of that one if you're interested in any of the mods i'm using i begin upgrading my house and give the wizard a birthday gift finally i spend the rest of the day catching some new fish day 102 is fetch quest day i give a bear some syrup i give linus his basket and i give clint an iron bar i spend the remainder of the day fishing again on day 103 i struggle for an entire day to hook an ice pip and finally after an intense battle i managed to catch one on day 104 my house upgrade is done set up a spot for some fish ponds i'm looking to build thank you for the suggestion wisco goat and i swap out my crappy sprinklers with some new iridium ones on day 105 i check on the crab pots i set up yesterday and fish for seaweed spend the rest of the day mining for resources since i want to get a ton of kegs as soon as possible on day 106 i harvest my forgibles until i hit level 10 forging and then save the rest for tomorrow so i can get the iridium quality bonus i buy my first fishpond from robin and spend the day farming resources in the mines day 107 i harvest the rest of my foragibles and grind for coal in the mines i also give leah a birthday gift on day 108 i harvest my last group of forageables and grab my red cabbage which i use to finally complete the community center next i buy my first shed from robin and catch a sturgeon for my new fish pond then i head to the desert where i grab some coconuts and fail to catch a scorpion carp day 109 is the winter star i give a gift to my pal george and then get a gift from my secret buddy who oh my god of course dude how much do you want but it's something pretentious yup on day 110 i give clint a birthday gift make some donations and spend the day killing monsters in the mines on day 111 i build a second shed and buy 1 200 rhubarb seeds from sandy i also meet up with the wizard to help fix his marriage problems i'm uncomfortable finally i grab the golden scythe from this weird cave thing in the quarry day 112 is the last day of winter i give my fish a diamond buy a stack of coal crack open some artifact troves and spend the day still farming coal i also unlocked the burglar ring for killing 500 dust sprites which gives me more monster loot plus one of them dropped a prismatic shard somehow so that's cool i guess day 113 is the first day of year two after kent alerts me to the fact that he does in fact exist i scramble to plant my 600 rhubarb seeds before going to bed pretty much all of day 114 is spent grinding coal in the mines i'm not even gonna waste your time on day 115 i buy a bunch of wood from robin donate some artifacts and begin repairs on the ginger island boat i also cut a bunch of wood and plant some more ancient fruit on day 116 gunther lets me know that i've donated enough stuff to finally access the sewer i grind for some stone in the mines and give kent a birthday gift day 117 i meet krobus grab the wizards talisman from the bug lair catch a mutant carp and unlock the witch's swamp a lot of stinky things on day 117. day 118 i complete the wizards quest and spend the day grinding for stone and copper ore in the mines i've been doing a ton of mine grinding so that's cool anyway day 119 i grind for stone in the mines for literally the entire day since i can't afford to buy any on day 120 i plan a bunch of tree seeds to deal with my wood shortage and farm for more stone in the mines spend every last minute of day 121 just fishing since i'm trying to hit level 10. on day 122 i expand my little ancient fruit patch and kill a bunch of bugs on day 123 i catch a void salmon and finish a special quest i also hit level 10 fishing on day 124 i add to my keg collection and spend the day grinding for iron ore in the mines day 125 i head to the egg festival i am a rabbit i kick the ever living out of some children in the egg hunt and call it a night on day 126 i uncomfortably wait outside haley's room to give her a birthday present and then head to the desert to grab some wood and fish again for the scorpion carp day 127 is my first rhubarb harvest while harvesting i realized that i miscalculated and have to buy a bunch of speed grow to get my second harvest after spending all day replanting my rhubarbs with fertilizer i realized that i mis-miscalculated and actually don't need the speed grow so i guess i'm restarting the day day 127 harvest plant blood on the bedtime on day 128 i give my sturgeon some jelly and fail to catch the legend fish day 129 is more failure with the legend including this absolutely tragic attempt where i got so close before losing the catch you know what i'm just gonna let you hear my real-time reactions you can understand what i was emotionally going through oh my god oh my god oh my god triumph arrives on day 1 30. after an intense struggle i finally catch the legend i stopped by the saloon to celebrate and give pam a birthday gift on day 131 i begin repairs on the ginger island boat cut wood and farmstone in the mines day 132 was my first day at ginger island i just kind of run around and grab walnuts i didn't really know how to summarize this neatly day 133 i do pretty much the same thing plus i abandoned professor snail behind the rocks since i couldn't figure out how to free him on day 134 i struggle through the volcano dungeon fail to reach the end and pass out in the middle of town success on day 135 i'm making great time in the volcano dungeon having a blast and i freaking die oh whatever i probably didn't lose anything important oh my god time to restart first take on day 135 this is my first time playing day 135 after screwing around for a bit in the dungeon i once again forget that it takes me four full in-game hours to navigate back through the dungeon and pass out in the sand success on day 136 i realize that ginger island is off limits because of the stupid flower dance so i farm iron ore in the mines all day day 137 i pound down some espressos and go ham on some trees after that's done i add some preserved jars and kegs to my sheds on day 138 i just kind of run around picking stuff up giving people gifts watching gus lose his mind over some tomato salt finally i grabbed the pirate's locket for the ginger island quest day 139 is more aimless walnut hunting you know what's up day 140 is the last day of spring i harvest my rhubarb sell some to pierre buy a ton of star fruit seeds and spend the night frantically chopping wood after that i head to bed day 1 41 is a standard first of summer kind of day aka panicking to get on my star fruit in the ground before i pass out i did it on day 142 i set up some melons with three more iridium sprinklers make some more kegs and farm for iron ore in the mines on day 1 43 i collect my jam and wine crack open some geodes to find absolutely nothing of interest and catch the crimson fish at the beach on day 144 i failed to hook an octopus catch a dorado and a sunfish which i need for a recipe and run to ginger island with what little time i have left in the um okay never mind guess not on day 145 i hit school caverns to look for a prehistoric floor since i want a dinosaur egg and this seems like the fastest way to get one don't find one though same thing on day 146 still no prehistoric floor on day 147 i finally catch the octopus cut some wood upgrade a shed and make a ton of new kegs day 148 i cut some more wood make some more kegs and again fail to find a prehistoric floor still can't find a prehistoric floor on day 149 on day 150 i dropped the whole stewed prehistoric floor thing and head to ginger island where i give the pirate lady her husband's locket and rebuild the island farm day 151 is the luau i drop a mutant carp in the soup for the best response and then just kind of dip day 152 i run into ginger island to set up a janky sprinkler layout and plant a melon afterwards i spend the day in the mines trying to get bug meat for a special quest okay so at this point i had stepped away from recording this for a little under a month since i was feeling super burnt out so when i returned i decided to completely switch gears instead of going for true perfection which involves a bunch of super boring stuff like finding every single walnut cooking every single recipe forming actual friendships i was gonna focus on the stuff that i actually was excited about that is shipping every item catching every fish and making as much money as possible that being said i spent day 153 completely renovating my super ugly greenhouse to add iridium sprinklers and making a few more kegs for my shed on day 154 i buy 695 star fruit seeds for the second harvest and buy a bunch of fruit trees to just kind of throw wherever day 155 i harvest my star fruit replant and spend the night in the mines gathering iron ore on day 156 i remember that the island farm is a thing so after cracking some geodes i rushed to ginger island to start preparing the land day 157 i finished setting up the sprinklers on my ginger island farm and spend the evening in the volcano dungeon on day 158 i plant my first ginger island ancient seeds and wander around the volcano dungeon nearly dying for like 20 minutes [Applause] on day 159 i finally conquer the volcano dungeon which means i can enchant my tools and weapons now on day 160 i buy the galaxy hammer because it looks cool reforge it with speed three times because i don't know and then give it a random enchantment because god knows why i wouldn't just make a bunch of people angry by creating the world's worst weapon i also hit level 10 combat which means i finally have all level 10 skills i picked the acrobat perks i like doing the little smashy thing i spend all day 161 gathering iron ore in the mines what fun on day 162 i upgrade my second shed and plant some more ancient fruit on ginger island day 163 i'm trying to find some dragon teeth for an island obelisk but unsurprisingly can't find any thanks love it on day 164 i set up two mini obelisks on my farm so i can teleport straight to my keg sheds then i finish the gem bird thing do the banana shrine garbage and grow a melon for this weird frog dude after all this i finally have enough walnuts to repair the resort so i do that day 165 i grab my big batch of wine and catch a stingray on ginger island day 166 is more grinding for dragon teeth in the volcano dungeon and surprisingly more failure can you freaking believe it dude you're not gonna believe this but i also spent day 167 grinding dragon teeth in the volcano dungeon this is what fun is day 168 is the last day of summer and good lord it's busy i harvest all of my star fruit grab some wine harvest all of my ancient fruit throw a bunch of kegs in my shed and attempt to go to ginger island before realizing i can't because of the stupid jellyfish ritual or whatever so i just check the traveling cart make some ancient seeds and go to bed day 169 is the first day of fall i wake up and scramble to retail my 688 spaces with my somehow still not upgraded o i buy a few random crops for shipping and cooking recipes and then buy 672 pumpkins i'm going with pumpkins since i think they're more valuable with kegs than cranberries i'm not super sure i take the long bus ride to the scorching desert and trek through the scalding sand dunes to reach the oasis whereby exactly two beet seeds frustrated at how little i was buying i also got a wall cactus because i don't know man just let me have this on day 170 i head to ginger island and plant some more ancient seeds i showed this frog dude some wheat wow cool and look for more dragon teeth on day 171 i catch the angler and continue my streak of not finding any freaking dragon teeth on day 172 i collect my first full batch of starfruit wine and enter the secret walnut room whereupon i realize i can't actually do anything inside yet i also finally get enough dragon teeth for the island obelisk so i make that let's see for the one oh my god 430 000 gold day 173 i chop a bunch of trees that i planted at the train station and used the wood to make 25 more kegs for my shed on day 174 i crack a freaking ton of geodes which amounts to exactly one new mineral sick then i plant a bunch of new ancient fruit on ginger island all of day 175 is spent grinding for copper in the mines which allows me to add 21 new kegs to my sheds on day 176 i realized that i had forgotten to plant my sweet gem berries so i just kind of throw that in my greenhouse afterwards i grind for iron ore all day god i hate this part of making kegs day 177 is more or grinding this time for copper i also realized that i never actually talked to the dwarf so i pickaxed my way over to him and buy like 13 of his rare crows for some reason [Music] on day 178 i completely change gears for a second and do a ton of farm beautification i buy my second fish pond and run around placing tons of paths benches and lamp posts overall i feel like everything is kind of starting to come together day 179 is also spent decorating the biggest addition today is finally putting fences where i've been waiting to put fences for ages in the end i'm pretty happy with everything turned out on the morning of day 180 my second fish pond is finished so i just kind of throw a couple of snails in there after grabbing an ass load of starfruit wine i buy some grass starter and fruit trees from pierre to spruce up my farm spend the rest of the day looking for those weird floaty heads in the mines since i need squid ink for the full shipment achievement i spend all of day 181 killing enemies in the mines since i'm working my way through the monster eradication goals in the adventurers guild on day 182 i wake up to harvest my ancient fruit and find a giant pumpkin on my farm so that's pretty cool i head to ginger island where i plant my last batch of ancient fruits and come home to find that a void chicken is hatched in one of my coops day 183 i harvest all my pumpkins and discover that a second giant pumpkin spawned i spend the rest of the day killing dudes in the mines day 184 is the stardew valley fair i win the grange display and then realize that i have nothing to do with the star tokens so i buy another rare crow and some sunflowers on day 185 i crack a bunch of geodes donate some artifacts to the museum and finally kill enough bats to get the vampire ring which i will never use on day 186 i try to make a run to skull cavern since i'm running low on iridium but pam decided today was the perfect day to take a beach trip piece of to make myself feel better i kill enough slimes in the mines to finish that quest of the adventurer's guild on day 187 i grab my starfruit wine and refill my kegs with ancient fruit and pumpkins then i finally make my skull cavern run and only a few minutes in i stumble on a prehistoric floor and find a dinosaur egg unfortunately i forget that luck is a thing that exists and immediately realize that i have the minimum possible luck step for the day regardless i find about 130 iridium on day 188 i collect my jelly and almost sell my dino egg good lord then i buy the furniture catalog and spend the rest of the day decorating the inside of my house since it's been hella ugly for 188 days now after a bit more decorating i spend day 189 buying the desert and water obelisks spreading more grass around my farm and picking my ancient fruit i also finally craft enough kegs to finish off my two keg sheds it's beautiful on day 190 i run to skull caverns to farm a bit more iridium and i luckily find a second dino egg i don't really know what to do with this one since the other one is incubating but i guess it's cool that i have it on day 191 i build the earth obelisk which means i've finally completed all four obelisks so that's another completion challenge down i also spend the day gathering 1 000 wood for robin's resource rush on the special orders board on day 192 i unlock a new chest recipe from robin so i reorganize my chests also in the spirit of getting organized i sell a bunch of my excess gems and head to the mines to finally finish the last monster slayer goal that's another perfection challenge down i spend the entirety of day 193 toiling away in skull caverns and all of my efforts amount to exactly 12 iridium ore no more no less what a triumph day 194 is a huge money day i grab my pumpkin pickles it's kind of gross sounding my ancient fruit wine and my pumpkin juice and throw them all in the bin along with some spare pumpkins for my last harvest next i run to the volcano forge since i just learned that you can actually combine rings i use this knowledge to give myself glowing magnet damage up slime immunity better drop rates and speed boosts after monster kills on day 195 i make a bunch more kegs to put next to my ginger island crop field day 196 is harvest day and the last day of fall i harvest the ancient fruit in my greenhouse the pumpkins on my farm and the ancient fruit on ginger island afterwards i complete professor snail's artifact collection so i can finally make an ostrich incubator now also i accepted a key quest to beat 50 000 points in juneau cart but i've actually somehow never played juno cart before whatever either way i'm staying here until i beat the score honestly how hard could it okay i couldn't do it oh my god i played for so long everything is spinning when i look away from the screen oh god oh god it's a new season i craft an ostrich incubator and throw my egg in there afterwards i give krobus a birthday gift and try to catch the glacier fish after a couple failed attempts i finally managed to catch one this means i've officially caught every single fish oh my god i fought with that dude for so long the fishing bars burned into my vision naughty i'll see why i had to take a break from recording this garbage on day 198 i eat willy's family heirloom and crack a bunch of geodes at clint's where i met with the worst geode opening streak i've ever seen in this game on day 199 i'm after the hearts of the villagers as i give a birthday cactus to linus and another horseradish to krobus after over 40 hours and two months of recording just the recording we're finally here day 200. i don't really have many plans for today so i think it would be nice to make it a sort of wrap-up day with a farm tour goal recap and then we can see how close we actually got to true perfection take it away me from the recording hey everybody it's 4 15 in the morning i am completely exhausted i forgot to go to bed it's still day 199 okay now it's 200 oh no my banana tree y'all have no idea how mentally and emotionally taxing this video was on me i don't know why this one was so much more work than the 100 days but i guess it was just that it was a ton more planning and i did actually play every single day out to 2am this time oh my god so here we are well first of all house tour house tour here's my deluxe master bedroom alone because i never made like any friends here's my my living living room here are the three legendary fish that i saved uh mutant carp i think ended up in the luau pot and the angler i actually don't know let's look at our collections for a moment total earnings just over 7 million gold that's pretty cool not as much as i would have hoped but still pretty cool obviously i have all level 10 skills i'm not a pleb friendship okay this is where it gets a little concerning i'm seven hearts with linus and then it kind of goes downhill from there at first when i was going for like true perfection one of the things is to get to max hearts with everybody uh i got really bored of that and stopped so did not end up falling following through with that we were very close to a full shipment our uh actually our sweet gem berry is probably done dino mayo we just needed to wait for our dino egg to incubate so that's just kind of a matter of time and then radioactive ore and radioactive bar we just never got that quest from mr key so nothing we could have done but we got everything else which i think is pretty awesome moving on to fish we did catch every fish that was a big one that i wanted to do because i think this one's really fun i like catching all the fish artifacts we were missing quite a few same with minerals we were missing three that's just kind of like luck i don't really know we didn't cook freaking anything so that's cool let's do a farm tour you know what let's do a farm tour here's our little stable i don't i didn't know what to do with this back area these three chests by the way i don't know if i ever explained this this is where i'm keeping all of my ingredients for like cooking every single recipe that's where a lot of the time went planning-wise is i had to write down a list of every single thing i actually added one by one the ingredients of every recipe in the game on a word doc and then found out later that that list already exists on the starter valley wiki so that's great this is my little like preserves jar alley here's the planting area uh it has remained pretty much exactly the same as it was at the end of 100 days these are all fruit trees you can't tell because it's winter but they're fruit trees i wish i could have done a farm tour when it was like everything was alive but that's just kind of how the math worked out if i ever do a 300 days it'll end in fall so that will be good got my chests my silo this is just kind of like my machinery alley here's my tree tap area and all of my furnaces are along here by the way if you can't tell i have a mod on that makes grass stick around through winter uh just because i don't want to have to replant all the grass that's annoying here's my greenhouse just all ancient fruit except there's my one sweet gem berry let's go here's my specifically oak resin farm for when i went mad with the kegs lightning rods here are my fish ponds i got sturgeon over here i got snails over here i just thought the idea of having a snail farm would be funny here i've just got some seeding there we go here is my second planting area and my two keg sheds each of them are filled with kegs i mean it's called a keg shed i don't know what else you expect oh my juice is done well too late i have a mini obelisk system set up so i can teleport straight from my keg sheds to the front uh all four of the obelisks my uh like building recolor mod changes the way the obelisks look which is nice because these look very nice and the ones in the game for lack of a better word are kind of ugly animal area has stayed literally exactly the same i really couldn't bother with animal like upkeep so i didn't do much of that this time because that really burnt me out in the 100 days so that's the main farm i'm gonna do like a little before i have screenshots i have farm screenshots so i'm gonna do like a before uh which is after 100 days and then after which is after 200 days and i think the difference is pretty impressive but we're not done oh no no no no no no because i have a couple things to do first of all merch plug i've merch uh freaking merge link in the description look at it filthy casualties.com it looks nice second of all let's go to ginger island let's check out our ginger island farm as well shirtless elliot i'm gonna have to pass on that we've got some kegged it's kind of weird that they're blue because it's winter all the paths are blue because it's winter which feels weird on ginger island but here we are i have literally just ancient fruit just a buttload of ancient fruit one little isolated mango tree and last but not least i think it might be nice to go over to the little perfection tracker and see how close we were to true perfection i know we didn't get there because we skimped out on a few of the goals but i just want
