I Made a FULL DIAMOND BEACON in Minecraft Hardcore!

all right so once again we're making yet another just ridiculous beacon look at all these diamonds just pretty much going to waste and yet again we've finished yet another ridiculous beacon g'day guys my name is wazzy and welcome back to another episode of hardcore minecraft oh what's that what's this thing behind me oh it's absolutely nothing just my full netherite beacon that i made in the previous episode that's right in the last video i spent six months gathering 5904 engine debris just so i could make a full netherite beacon in hardcore minecraft it was by far one of the stupidest and most time-consuming things i've ever done today however i set off on another beacon journey to make the next best thing a diamond beacon this time it only took me about 20 hours and i managed to we get closer and closer to 2 million subscribers every day what's that you still don't believe that the netherright beacon is legit that's funny because when i go into my statistics for my hardcore world it tells me i've broken 6207 ancient debris blocks as well as over half a million netherite blocks and nearly 200 000 sand and that doesn't include blocks broken by tnt it even tells me i've crafted 41 491 tnt and as of today this world is 1700 minecraft days old which is up to more than 500 hours of real time and if i was to have spawned any of this stuff in the statistics wouldn't be there and if i didn't spend hundreds of hours on this beacon why is my world still hundreds of hours old but you'll probably still try to tell me it's fake anyway that's enough about the netherite beacon it's time for me to tell you about how i got the diamond beacon so if you don't know at the start of every hardcore episode i meant to plant another 200 melons to this farm but since last episode was like a special one i never actually planted the melons so today we're gonna plant 400 so let's get to work get off my farm all right and just like that we've added another 400 melons to the farm for today as always if you want to see how big this farm ends up getting make sure to subscribe to the channel and with all that out of the way let's get into making a diamond beacon you see making a diamond beacon is obviously going to be way easier than another right beacon and there's a number of reasons for that first of all we're actually starting off with a few diamonds alright so we're actually starting off with two stacks and a half of diamonds already but the other reason this is going to be so easy is with diamonds you can find much larger veins you can find veins of up to eight maybe even nine i feel like nine's possible i'm not sure but in addition to that i also have a fortune 3 pickaxe so if we find a vein of eight diamonds we could potentially come out with like 30 diamonds from it and of course the biggest difference between the netherite beacon and the diamond beacon is this time we're only going to need to find 1476 diamonds to make the full beacon so this should be way easier all right so day one of this challenge we're going to be doing it all down here in our strip mine maybe in the future if i get bored we'll go mess around and explore but this is going to be the easiest way to find diamonds i really want to go straight through here this lava may be a problem god damn it all right perfect let's get it started so i'm just going to dig in a straight line this way until i hit lava that i can't get past i gotta remember to place torches as well because i have i've made everything fully bright so i can't see where darkness is but it's just easy if i prevent mobs from spawning well i don't really need iron but maybe i should probably make it a rule to pick up every ore i see it's always good to mine the redstone and like the coal though because they give you xp which repairs your pickaxe which is it allows you to just keep mining also i need coal for torches [Music] there we go looks like we found a vein of eight though which is so good so let's see our very first vein of diamonds let's mine it with fortune three let's see how lucky we get okay there's a couple multiples there okay i think we did all right i mean hey we turn eight into seventeen we are very happy with that for the first hour of day one i recorded the whole time to see just how much progress we could make in just one hour [Music] oh there we go more diamonds baby what's this man just a three vayne i mean hey we got seven hmm more lava that's fun that was actually not too bad ah this is kind of cool [Music] yes let's go all right this is another three vayne three gonna be my lucky number here wait that was a heaps that was nine yo that's good we've got nine from three we tripled so far we've found like three veins and we've already got we got more come on more than three dude i'm telling you three is just i can't escape the number three whatever all right one two three i think we got eight that time all right so four veins and we've already found like 40 40 diamonds 40ish 41 oh hello imagine i mean i've already been here but imagine i opened this and it's just got diamonds in it that'd be insane let's go let's go we found an eight vane [Music] oh we only got 16. hey we doubled actually we're happy with doubling let's go dude it's just too easy there's an eight man for sure i think we're in the clear yep let's go either way we got about 17 or 18 just then oh my oh what is this luck what is this this kind of ruins my plans the issue when you mind this high up is lava just never stops you which i guess could be a good thing but then you just go forever okay what have we got here then there's no torches around which indicates to me that i've not been here before so there could be a chance i find diamonds [Music] all right doesn't look like we find the diamonds here found so much lapis there we go i knew it mind these suckers up so that's going to conclude our hour so in our first hour we had found 83 diamonds which is actually really good and if you include the diamonds i found a few minutes later trying to find my way out of this cave we actually found 92. what a great start for the rest of the first day i continued strip mining for diamonds at my own pace so here's a quick montage of all the diamonds i found over the next three or so hours finally i found some more diamonds let's see how many we get alright gamers we have dug into another cave we found one vane of diamonds found two veins of diamonds all right bet give me these diamonds oh no we found two potentially three nope i'm not i told you it's one two three four five six found more diamonds that's a six vein more diamond cheeky little six vein we've found another at least four another five that's one two three four all right well the magic number started off as three but now i'm starting to think my magic number is four because yet again we find a vein of four diamonds you cannot make this up another four diamond i honestly can't believe it we found a vein of four again oh i swear if this is gonna be another four it's another four diamonds isn't it what what the hell is this why is it raining underground wait hang on for science let's come over here oh so it's fake rain right very funny oh we actually did it not only did we find more than four but we found the nine vayne i knew i wasn't crazy a lot of comments always say that eight is the most you can find consider this proof a vein of nine diamonds right here let's mine these up and let's do the math 10 10 this is [Music] 10. [Music] okay i have now shown you literally every diamond i found on day one of this project so at the end of the day we finished with a grand total of 533 diamonds g'day and welcome back to day two of trying to find a diamond beacon so far in this challenge we've managed to find a fair few diamonds just by strip mining but that's kind of boring so to start off with today i wanted to try something a little different now i've said this sometime in the past but the best place to find diamonds would have to be the ocean because in the ocean you can find some pretty deep caves that just go straight to diamond level so to start off day two i was going to explore the ocean for a couple of hours to test out this theory and see if the ocean is the easiest way to find diamonds also in the ocean you can find these magma blocks which will just give you more bubbles so you never actually have to go to the surface dolphins please give me a boost yeah there we go oh now we're talking oh we found some buried treasure all right this could mean diamonds there it is oh and we failed to find any diamonds come on like this this seems promising this is what i've been after all right no diamonds here i don't think but uh we can carry on oh don't mind if i do this might work more buried treasure there we go finally that was so worth it we spent 20 minutes getting a single diamond all right so to begin with it was pretty slow but the real fun begins once i start exploring the ocean ravines why is there a bee here buddy i think you're a bit lost yeah you're probably just a little bit lost oh is this diamond potential there we go you can find diamonds in the ocean there we go hello little vayner three and more again finally more again dude how did i oh god thank god i found this again oh let's go yeah this has been a good ravine should be a decent vein nope oh that's what we like oh let's go therefore there it is strike again all right so from trip number one out in the ocean we managed to find 79 diamonds that was pretty successful that's kind of fun i might go put this all away grab a few more fireworks and head out to a different ocean and try again because i feel like that was quite effective [Music] i knew it there it is oh this could be something maybe that goes pretty deep give it a shot yeah perfect all right what's down here jesus that was deceiving put a librarian down here i think there's too many books down here mate [Music] this looks real promising yep there it is one two three four all right please go deeper please yes yes yes this is also good oh this ravine could be good well we carry on yes good find oh it's a vein of eight two let's go oh this cave system's so good there we go let's is this technically two veins exploring the ocean was definitely a lot more fun but i found it very hit or miss you could either waste a bunch of time or get incredibly lucky finding 20 diamond ores in five minutes i carried on for a little while longer and found a fair few diamonds but to finish off the day i decided to go back to the good old strip mining please be six please be six yes let's go we've got a bit of a surgical operation here the diamonds but we also got a bunch of lava just bloody everywhere love and eight vayner diamonds day two was probably the most productive day of the entire challenge i haven't included the clip for every single diamond we found but trust me when i say i've mined quite a lot three four five six seven eight nine ten that's the second ten vane we've ever found that's huge and by the end of the day we ended with a really solid 1094 diamonds which is almost 75 percent of the way there on just day two g'day and welcome back to day three of the mission for a diamond beacon instead of mining diamonds to start with we're actually going to head to our fortress and try and get some wither skeleton skulls also we can fight a wither and then make our beacon oh okay am i gonna get lucky and get one in the first two nope now this task alone can be quite time consuming we're gonna have to fight a lot of will it with the skeletons but i hope it doesn't take us too long oh there we go all right so i was running around exploring this fortress and we found three more diamonds in a chest all right please [Music] yes wait that was it i didn't know this was a thing that looks so stupid oh come on i only need one more just give me one more this is taking forever oh god how am i gonna do this where are you going all right jackpot we're sure to get it here there's like four of these skeletons yes okay i was right we got it i'll uh take out these guys just in case i get lucky and get another one oh there's so many oh please give me another one please oh my god we actually got another one i would do some messing around and some shenanigans but honestly this video isn't about the weather it's about the diamond beacon so let's just fight this guy and let's just do it normal all right no come here you stupid thing thank you so to start with i like to run around a bit in a bit of a circle turning around every now and then shoot narrow and you pretty much don't get touched my nut just leave me alone and then when it gets into this form i usually drink a potion just to take its damage and with the netherite sword it should die pretty quickly that was a sloppy fight but uh we did it just like that we've got our beacon for the diamond beacon going back to mining diamonds on day three i wanted to do another experiment to see how many diamonds i could find in just one hour and see if i could beat what i managed to do on day one three two one and we're off one hour has begun i mean five minutes are about to pass and we still haven't found our first vein of diamonds oh there we go our first vein what is it then for of course there we go oh it's not gonna be many is it too close to bedrock oh this is a problem i found more oh my god i was itching my ear i feel like i've definitely had a pretty lucky run so far let's go it's a five vayne [Music] all right we're about to hit halfway still been ages since we found any diamonds just kind of getting sad at this point [Music] i think it's been about close to half an hour since i've found a diamond um yeah this has sucked my luck started off great and ended off awful i mean we still have 15 minutes but i am not confident well thank god that's done uh we still have 15 minutes left i'm gonna come back down here to where we had our most luck ah there we go oh it's been so long thank you all right only 10 minutes left will we manage to finish off a stack of diamonds i hope so [Music] four vane five vane jesus that's terrifying thank god we have full netherride armor wow oh we only have one minute i might as well just mine all this cold hopefully it's just some diamonds behind this coal this goes straight screw whatever we find [Music] all right so in just one hour we managed to get 63 diamonds which isn't the best but i do want to talk about it you see the only time i found diamonds during this one hour was while mining at y5 i didn't find any at y8 or y11 probably just a coincidence but i know i'm going to get hundreds of comments about this saying that i should be mining at y11 so i want to tell you all why you should start mining at y5 instead so you ask anyone what y level to mine at for diamonds and they're going to say y11 and that's the only answer you'll get but if you look at this distribution chart for diamonds you can see y11 is only the top of where diamonds are most commonly found in minecraft as they are clearly most common from y5 to y12 so why would you only mine at y11 and miss all these juicy diamonds only a few layers lower see my strategy for getting this beacon is mining at levels 5 8 and 11 in a pattern where i'm uncovering almost every block so i can take advantage and find every possible diamond within these layers but hey that's just how i mine for diamonds that's enough with the graphs we still have about 300 diamonds to find before we're done with this diamond beacon anyway diamonds are just they're so slow today i don't know what it is oh eight vane let's go four or five hours later of nothing but mining for diamonds and we were about to be done with a full diamond beacon wait we need 11 more yeah we only need 11 more and we're done all right this could be it depending on how lucky we get with fortune one two three four five six oh it's it yeah we did it so as you can see we have 23 stacks plus 12 diamonds all right and now it's time to craft all 1476 into diamond blocks look at that a whole stack of diamond blocks at once i'm just i'm this rich i'm this rich that is exactly 164 blocks of diamond so i thought what might be cool is if we like extended our pyramid and made a platform to put our diamond beacon on um yeah i thought that might be cool so i'm gonna do just that all right so that's our platform where we're gonna be putting out diamond beacon uh let's just go ahead and do it right now all right so once again we're making yet another just ridiculous beacon look at all these diamonds is pretty much going to waste and yet again we've finished yet another ridiculous beacon it's actually quite cool now because now we can give this one a different effect and we'll have both effects right right does it
