i want to apologize that i haven't uploaded for a while but i'm back and i put over 20 hours into making this brand new video so i hope you all enjoy this is the nether and this is a single grass block in the nether and this is what the nether would look like if you transform the whole thing into the overworld ever since i transformed my end dimension to look like the overworld in my hardcore world you guys have been asking me to do it again in the nether so in today's video i transformed part of the nether into an overworld biome in a really unique way this is the most creative build i've done yet also this video took so long to make so if you do enjoy please consider subscribing and join the wawa army it's completely free and will only take you a couple of seconds and it's the easiest way to support the channel anyway enjoy the video g'day guys my name is wazzy and welcome back to another episode of hardcore minecraft i've been away for a little bit and i just want to apologize that it's been so long since i've posted a video but i'm back brand new episode and you know what that means we gotta plant some more melons [Music] all right and there you have it so if you're curious at the start of every episode i plant another 200 melons to this giant melon farm just for a bit of fun and just to see how big we can make it before the series is over so if you want to see how big this melon farm ends up getting make sure to subscribe and let's get on to today's video so today's building project is going to be a little bit insane and really really tedious um but before i can explain the first thing we need to do is collect a bunch of sand it'll all make sense in a second but for now we're back to my favorite pastime of digging up sand in this poor poor desert which i have absolutely destroyed [Music] all right allow me to set up all my shulker boxes here now we begin on filling them all up we just talk about how crazy it is that almost every video i do i end up back at this desert digging up sand doesn't matter if it's for the sand or the glass or the sandstone i always manage to come back to this desert in some way i think it's just some sick twisted part of me that just loves destroying the world like building stuff is fun too but sometimes just tearing stuff apart can be just as fun alright here's a fun little statistic in this world i have dug 180 000 blocks of sand i thought it would be more but [Music] all right and that's one shulker box full i wonder if i can get some more music discs quickly come on nice nice all right shulker box number two filled up number three now completely full all right and now finally that is shulker box number five but oh yeah that's all our sand now i can go on to explaining what i'm actually going to be using all of this sand for all right i figured i'd just make a quick trip to the end here so i could repair all my tools and everything and then we can get building do you know how people drain out the ocean monument and they make this like nice little circle where they drain out the entire ocean yeah i kind of want to do that in the netherlands i know that sounds stupid but i want to drain out a massive circle out of this lava pit to start off with i got to get rid of these gotta block off these little lava sources hey little buddy what do you oh i i got rid of your lava what are you gonna do about it i think this mob needs some serious reconsidering anyway i've got a large space out here what i want to do is measure out a circle out here and then we'll work on hollowing it out all right so to start off with i want to find my center spot but i don't know how to do that all right so i'm thinking if i just build out from here and i go all the way out as far as i can i can figure out where i want to put the center from there that's the plane [Music] all right so i'm just getting a rough idea of what shape this circle is going to be and where it's going to be to be like the outside edge i think this is probably a bit too close to like the land here so i probably want to put the center point a bit further down this way so i'm thinking i'd be fine with just choosing a completely random spot all right for the moment so i don't forget this obsidian block is going to be our center point actually i changed my mind i don't want the obsidian here anymore 9 10 11 12 13. so this may look a little confusing from our center point here at this obsidian i've gone out all directions to where the outer bit of our uh circle will be now that i know those dimensions i just need to follow around and build a giant circle and then from there that'll be what we have to hollow out [Music] three four oh perfect and now this will be the final quarter all right and that is now our circle fully measured out so this whole perimeter that you can see here all the lava within this i now have to fully drain out and how am i going to drain that out taking blocks like sand and light gravel and just filling the whole space in and that took like seven blocks right here in the center so that's why i dug up like five shulker boxes full of sand i'm gonna start at one end and just spill in sand and then just keep it going from there so let the fun begin [Music] this is gonna be so tedious this is gonna be ridiculously tedious the good thing is the whole plan is once the sand is filled in i'll be able to dig away some of the sand and reuse some of the same sand but i probably could have done this with a lot less sand but it's still gonna take a lot like as you can see i've only covered a very tiny portion of this circle and i've gone through a lot of stacks this lava can be a lot deeper than you would think so yeah this is going to be my life for the next however many hours this takes me it's going to be a lot of hours all right i'm starting to realize just how painful this is going to be like this is gonna suck and it's gonna take me a very long time but it is gonna be really cool the thing is when you do this in the ocean it's like it still takes a long time but it's a lot quicker because you can just use sponges to get rid of a lot of the water you can't use sponges on lava so every single block of lava within this circle i'm gonna have to manually remove by absolutely smothering it with sand but yeah so far this is what i've done so i'm anticipating this might take me like four hours maybe another question is do i do the outside of the cir yeah you know what screw it i said i was doing this whole circle we're doing the whole surface i'm just i'm too big brain for this honestly let the sand fall [Music] all right i've definitely been playing around for long enough i'm just gonna put my head down get to work grind this out and i'll be back with a quick update all right so i've been hard at work i've been placing a lot of sand but i've run into one issue yeah there's kind of a lot of pigment spawning i don't know what to do about it should i kill them yeah you know what i'm going to kill them screw it what could go wrong yeah this this right here this was the biggest mistake i've ever made these guys die in lava or are they just gonna be stuck under there i may have made a mistake anyway i think it's finally about time i actually dug up some of the sand i put down so now it's gonna become a cycle of digging up the sand that i've placed placing it down again out here where the lava still is digging it up again and so on and so on until hopefully eventually we've uh followed out the whole area i have to be super careful not to accidentally dig like these outside blocks because if i do it'll fall the lava will go everywhere it'll be a nightmare so i need to be super careful while i'm doing this where did you guys come from that is not good oh no now that i've angered them and they can all survive under lava anytime a group of them spawns they're automatically going to be angry and just run at me i've made a huge mistake one sand on top of all of it no all right fun little update we are now at least with the sand halfway done this is our center point here we've filled up sand all the way to the halfway point we're still yet to dig it all out but um these guys have not left me alone this whole time i'm actually kind of glad these guys have been angry at me because i've been able to use the xp i get from uh killing them all to repair my mending shovel it's actually been not that bad but they they are definitely annoying so kind of cool we're starting to actually reach the bottom the floor of the lava ocean in the nether obviously still have a long way to go but this this feels like progress [Music] i've been at this for about three three hours maybe three and a half hours you can see the effect i was going for with this build that obsidian there is our center point so you can see we're definitely getting closer and closer uh hang on a sec once once just one set one second [Music] as i said it's been like three hours and there's still angry pigmen underneath this lava right now some of which i am suffocating right now [Music] alright so this is all the area we have left to fill in with sand that's it barely anything so right now i'm about to dig up another full inventory full of sand i just want to mine some sand i just want to mine some sand so not only are we just about to fill in the entire area with sand we've also dug out over half of the area as you can see because we've passed our obsidian marker so we are making incredible progress it's been very tedious but honestly i've done worse things in minecraft alright here we go we're putting in the final blocks of sand right now all right this is here the final four blocks of sand or four pillars of sand that we gotta place just on cue and that's it that was the last one stop stop all right so exciting exciting news and now that we've placed every single block of sand all that's left for us to do now is to go up and dig all of the sand again so yeah let's let's get going it's that was a mistake that was a mistake i know i was playing cod zombies didn't know i was playing cod zombie i'm an absolute warrior at this game i am never dying in hardcore ever ever i'm never dying all right i might be dying there is a disgusting amount of loot around me right now oh my god wait they're not angry at me i can have some peace honestly barely any sand left to mine everything past that wall is all gone i've just got this metal strip here to dig out and then i'm gonna go to bed because i've been working on this for i want to say five hours now yeah let's just say five hours five hours of placing and digging up sand in the nether with constant piglets swarming me just like that it's done we have completely drained this giant circle i mean i feel like you can't properly appreciate it from down here to really see it from where it looks cool we need to get up above yes this is the perfect spot to appreciate what we've just done but there's still so much more i'm gonna transform in this area this is only the beginning this was just the first step uh but yeah so yeah i spent about five hours on this i'm gonna go to bed for now i'm gonna come back tomorrow and if you thought that this was a tedious process it keeps going [Music] alright it's day two working on this project and the next step is actually making this hole a lot deeper because it is a little bit shallow in some places i think it would look a lot cooler if it was deeper i might even dig all the way down to bedrock i'm not sure we'll see what happens but it's time we got digging zombified piglets seem to be leaving me alone for now at least so as long as i don't anger them i should be able to do this all in peace yeah let's let's get digging oh my god so whenever i fill up my inventory i'll fly off dump all my junk in these chests grab some sand for repairing ghast holes and then get right back to work every time i go to it's a quick little update i've now dug it and leveled it out at the deepest point that the hole was at but the next step i do think i want to make it a little more deeper so i may go down maybe only like five or so more levels i don't know i'll play it by ear but i'm gonna do a bit more digging make it a lot more deeper my pickaxe is pretty low so i might i might make a quick trip to the end repair my pickaxe and then i'll just get right back to digging oh my god wait look at this look at this look at this i realized this love there was some sand missing because this lava was pouring down but i definitely didn't break a block that enderman just joint this sand and completely destroyed what i had made oh and i just looked at it okay you know what yeah you deserve this you definitely deserve this give me my sandbag anyway uh one layer is uh pretty much done all right and finishing up layer number two all right there we right on cue all right and this is layer number three four layers down so this is what the hole is looking like so far all the sand is where obviously i had to fill it in with sand that's where all the lava was and all the netherrack on the border is where i've actually dug i've ended up digging out quite a lot and i don't know i might even want to go deeper than this look yeah i may go a little bit deeper but honestly not too much more all right and there we have it for the moment i am done digging i'm done okay i've had enough i think it's time for me to reveal what i'm actually going to be doing with this though i want to turn this little section of the nether into the overworld like i did with the end i want to make all this all grassy and like have trees and stone everywhere so for our next step what we actually need to do is go collect a lot of stone a lot of dirt a lot of grass actually also a lot of obsidian back to collecting blocks so i made a quick trip to the end to repair all my tools and stuff and then i realized i need obsidian and i mean what do i have here the best source of obsidian you can find so i'm to start off by collecting i think about 10 stacks of obsidian or something like that [Music] all right so not too much later and we've collected uh 12 stacks of obsidian the next block i'm going to go collect a bunch of is going to be some stone and some cobblestone all right so all i'll go ahead and do is come down here to our mine and since i don't really care about finding diamonds or anything i just want stone i'll just mine everywhere and just mine up as much stone as i can [Music] alright well i've been uh absolutely tearing apart the earth picked up a lot of stone so far and we got a couple cheeky diamonds you know bit of a bonus all right so i only need five more stacks of stone and that shocker box will be done oh yeah also i found more diamonds [Music] so other than just stone i also plan to use a bunch of cobblestone and even andesite in this build and fortunately i've still got some dirt and grass all over the place from some of the other builds i've been doing all right yeah here we go we've hit the jackpot of dirt and then we also need to grab some grass as well i think i still have some grass from over here when i did the pyramid oh yeah yeah i still got a little bit here as well but now i've got my shulker boxes full of grass dirt stones and a bit of obsidian we can finally head back to the nether and start transforming that circle we've made into the overworld all right so step one of this build i just want to go around the outside here where our walls reach the lava and just put some obsidian uh just because sand looks a bit like unnatural and yeah this will just look a lot cooler all right there we go perfect so now i've done the whole top layer and what i'm actually going to do next is go around and do whoops two layers underneath so the top three layers of our wall here will all be obsidian all right so i've gone all around the top and added the three layers of obsidian all the way around and now i've got a bit left over so i want to get just a little bit custom with it and add some obsidian out here on the outside [Music] all right so step two of this process now we need to grab a bunch of stone our task now is to just line all the walls around the whole thing with stone so you can't see any of the sand or the netherrack anymore [Music] oh come on man you really gotta do this [Music] all right and there you go i got a little bit lazy i didn't spread any andesite and cobblestone into this as you can see right now it is very like just straight up and down and i don't really like that so what i plan to do in the future is kind of taper it off a bit and have different like layers like a mountain yeah it'll be a lot more detailed but for now i'm just doing kind of the general uh shape and the general cover up of all the netherrack and such um in the future i'll have grass and dirt on top of this layer which will cover up the sand but for now what i want to move on to next is actually like the shaping of the terrain underneath because i don't want it to be absolutely flat i want it to have a bit of like some hills and stuff so to begin with what i'm actually going to do i'm going to take some of this netherrack all right and i'm just going to uh go ahead please don't shoot i'm going to go ahead and kind of try attempt to like mold the terrain it's so loud down here and then once i figure out the general like shape of the terrain i can just go over all this netherrack with just grass and dirt so i spent all this time mining all these blocks beneath me and now i'm just placing more blocks on [Music] top [Music] oh i didn't realize that that wasn't a okay i've made a bit of a mistake all right so right now i'm kind of just drawing with netherrack the general kind of shape so i wanted to be on a kind of a downward slope like down this way so i'm actually going to be digging a bit more down now all right and i may even go down just one more layer but not very much this requires so much forward thinking it's honestly annoying all right so that's kind of our terrain and then on excuse me all right now on this side i actually want to have a bit of a hill against this back wall here i don't know how to plan for that honestly yes i'll just like kind of figure out how high i want it to be like maybe up here and just like figure out a general kind of shape for it curve around a bit like so now with the general floor plans in place it was finally time for us to lay down some grass and make the big changes that'll really start transforming this area so can we just talk about how many baby piglets there are here why have i created a baby piglet farm when do you ever see this many baby piglets it's ridiculous grass looks so gross in the nether it's so dull i wish it was more vibrant all right and now finally finally now that i'm starting to put down some grass and dirt i can start actually lighting the place up mostly because i need the grass to spread but hopefully this will prevent mobs from spawning as much i don't know i get the feeling that england's and stuff can just spawn in any light level but i hope this helps [Music] [Applause] [Music] look i tell you what i think the torches actually do prevent at least the zombified guys from spawning that is good maybe not maybe not maybe i was wrong all right so i've filled in most of the grass the next bit that we have to try and figure out is how i'm going to do this stupid hill that i want to do because i just love making my life harder alright well let's just try and tackle creating this [Music] oh hill god [Music] this is hell look just don't don't try building this yourself just don't ever it is the worst experience how how all right so i think what would be uh helpful is if i just to begin with to help us out with this hill if i just made a flat surface up here on top i just need to get the shape down it's hard to do the details but if i can just start with something then i can start molding around it creating minecraft terrain that isn't real like completely manufactured is just so challenging it's some of the hardest building you have to do i've already kind of made it take shape over here [Music] i just got to follow building up the terrain around it but in the middle i actually kind of want to have some sort of waterfall so i want to have kind of a cliff face i'll have it really steep it'll be kind of just like a drop down with a stone face all right so obviously underneath this hill it's going to be all hollow so to prevent mobs from being able to spawn i need to place slabs all over the place and that way there will be no annoying mobs spawning oops but no more gas should be able to spawn under here which is all i really care about so that's good oh my [Music] i really want to try and figure out this kind of drop off cliffy rock face thing that i'm trying to go for here drop off off the front here oh that was a bad spot to drop wow literally every time i i can't believe it right yeah so we're looking at something like [Music] right [Music] i'm not as good at making this look natural but i think it's sort of worked okay yeah and then i just need to blend this little section here and we'll be done all right there you go that looks a little messy i think i pro this probably needs to be taller so maybe i could try that maybe i could try making it a bit taller up here at the top all right um i think that's looking good so we've uh roughly filled in the terrain there may be a few other changes i do with the terrain but next what i actually want to do is go back to focusing on the walls the outside walls and adding a bit more texture to that right so now what i'm going to do is create a bit of a tear system with the wall here so like the first few blocks will come up like so high and then the next few blocks will come up about this high now what i'm going to do is go around the walls like so and this should make the walls feel a lot less flat and up and down which i wasn't really liking and then afterwards i'll go around and add some uh details to the walls what literally is oh my gosh this is a jerk so i've just uh done all the layers for the walls and it's already looking a little bit better but we're gonna make it so so much better what we're gonna do is add some certain grass to the top of all these layers uh jagger it up a bit and also add in some cobblestone and andesite to texture it up a lot as well all right to start with i'm gonna go around and change the the layers the levels of all this all right now that i've done that i've changed the levels now i'll go around with some dirt oh god i hope i hit the gas no don't do that all right and now i've got that whole shape all i need to do is just add a single layer of grass on top of every single dirt block and that will be our top layer done [Music] um oh and also then the next thing we would do is then drop down and start scattering some andesite well as some cobblestone [Music] all right very good i've done all of the layers now so that is our wall it is looking a lot better um something's a little i don't know i think i like it yeah i definitely like it it's fine this is what it looks like from within the hole and if i go for a quick fly right now you can see it from a distance it looks so epic doesn't that just look awesome like look at that it's just chunk of overworld just in the middle of this lava ocean um so our plan now is just to blend in uh the point where the wall meets the ground here a bit better so it's not just like straight down i'll create a bit of a every time that is so damaging oh my god i don't even have that much grass uh anyway let's uh let's blend this sucker into the wall we'll start with two layers of dirt and then i'm just gonna like extend out the grass in front of it and just create a bit of a slope at the bottom of the wall that is gonna suck please die yes okay good another thing i want to do is create a bit of a river that flows from the waterfall here probably go over this way now obviously we can't have netherrack at the bottom of our river so we need to get our stone in all here then next i probably just want to build up some stones around the edge of our riverbed here all right and the final touch which might look good which should should look good for this riverbed is scattering in some sand blocks where we can into the banks and also into like the floor of the riverbed but uh yeah i think i'm just gonna go around and do a few minor tweaks to like the terrain but i think we're pretty much done with what we've created the next step is going to be adding in some flowers and some trees uh yeah i'm excited about how this is turning out all right i'm over here in our flower biome here to pick out some flowers to put into our nether build and i was thinking it'd be good to choose all colors that are kind of opposite of the nether so i'm thinking some like blues light blues white because we want it to be as opposite as possible we don't want any of these disgusting red all right that should be good that should be good i think we've got plenty of flowers let's head back over to the nether and start planting some of this stuff oh wait hang on before i can do that i need to collect some stuff to act as our water for our river right so option one is going to be some blue stained glass and our second option for a block we could maybe use is ice now i'm pretty sure you can still place ice in the nether right and it it doesn't melt does it i'm not entirely sure of that all right so it turns out google says that normal ice will just evaporate in the nether which is a shame because it has that like see-through effect that i wanted this packed ice you cannot see through so that might help me in my decision here because it might look a little lame all right now it's time for the ultimate test what looks better blue stained glass i mean that does look like water our other option is some packed ice yeah no i'm not feeling it it's just not see-through which is kind of the whole effect i want but anyway time to get to work and uh spice this place up a little starting off with a bit of bone meal let's go around and make it look good [Music] all right so we've got a bunch of grass around the place but we've probably got a bit too much and you guys know i don't really like the tall grass so let's go around and do a bit of lawn mowing break a lot of this grass lighten it up a little bit please don't that's so like damaging we've got rid of most of the tall grass i think it's looking a lot better uh the next step is i guess adding in our flowers the next thing would be a couple of trees so thankfully i've brought some saplings with me throw a couple trees here make sure to mix in some uh some birch [Music] that's probably enough trees i don't want to overdo it yeah i think that's a nice amount i really like the color of the um the birch leaves in the nether for some reason that's an awesome color another little plant that i've brought is some bamboo which i thought we could uh plant on the side of our riverbank putting some string on top of it of course to prevent it from growing any more than we want it to oh whoops wait that's kind of sick i'm gonna do that to more of these things all right so this is pretty much the build all i need to do now is go back and grab some more blue stained glass so i can have a waterfall and i may even go grab a bit more bamboo because that is a really good touch on the river bank there i probably could have built something cool in here like a house or something but i don't know just making it like a natural environment living within the middle of the nether it's so dope like how trippy is it that you know you look around you look down and you see all this like overworld and stuff and then you look up and it's just never i spent a little longer doing the finishing touches for this build at least for now i might change something in the future but finally after two long days of building i had finally finished my overworld biome underneath a lava lake in the nether damn look at that see i think it's maybe because i've been working on this for like well over 10 hours maybe even 20 hours i don't even know i've been working on this for forever so since i've looked at it so much i think i've kind of i'm kind of not impressed anymore but maybe since you guys haven't looked at it for quite as long you're impressed by this i hope this is cool it definitely looks more impressive from up here because you can see it's built into a lava pit oh also from up here that water looks convincing that's some convincing water thank you all so much for joining me on this journey creating something cool in minecraft today now sit back and watch as a pit of lava slowly turns into something awesome [Music] [Applause] so what did you guys think of this build make sure to leave your opinion in the comments down below and also tell me what i should build next i put so many hours into making this video so if you did enjoy please leave a like and consider subscribing because it'll only take you two seconds but it'll help me out a lot and that way hopefully i'll see you in the next video cheers [Music] hey
