I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS | The Last Of Us 2 - Part 1

it's finally here we are just about to jump into the last of us too i have been waiting for this game for so long like many of the rest of you who love video games this is going to be the biggest game of the year i feel and playing this on my channel i'm actually kind of nervous to start it because i just want to give the best experience possible but i'm also experiencing it myself for the first time so we're going to go on this wild crazy journey together i've heard some really good things in reviews a lot of talk going on about this game i can't wait to just get in get engrossed and just experience it and see what a top tier high quality aaa video game in 2020 is going to be like this is the last well one of the last really big games of the playstation 4 era it's certainly the last one that i am super interested in that i have been waiting for and it's been a long time since i played the first game i have a series up on the channel from 2013 and i was just a sweet baby boy back then and had no idea what i was doing so here we are with the sequel seven years later let's just let's not waste any time and just get straight into it i have no idea i'll just do moderate why not i have no idea what is going to happen in this game i have no idea what the game is really fully about but i am really excited to just be sucked into this world again i love the last of us one and i can't wait to see what they've done with this new iteration it's funny how as soon as i start recording this troy baker himself messages me asking what i think i haven't started yet troy cam down oh god i'm so excited ah why am i nervous like goosebumps already and the game hasn't even started i'm so excited is that him is that my boy t bakes i don't know what happened i was supposed to take her to the fireflies and walk away she go halfway across the country with someone she needed her immunity to mean something [Music] maybe i was starting to buy into that old cure business maybe i just wanted to do right by her and then we made it he found the firefight because of her were actually going to make a cure the only catch it would kill her jesus doctor what are you doing i won't let you the original [Music] man this world just seems so cool i mean apart from the things that want to kill you constantly all the time but i just love the nature taking over structures aspect to it it's wild to see how far the tech has come since the first game [Music] okay let's go uncle tommy where are we going tuck that head you don't get hit by it let's see what you're doing naughty dog giving us like a nice slow open before things really kick off now i have a bunch of theories and ideas of what i think is going to happen in this game but i'm kind of going to keep them to myself just in case because i i don't know anything but just in case i end up predicting something people will think that i saw spoilers and i'm i'm ahead of it or i know some secret information so i'm just not going to say anything um but i did talk to troy in depth about some of them about what i think is going to happen and he was like oh you know nothing so i'm very very excited to see what twists and turns we about it but all about scavenging you gotta go everywhere scavenge all the parts and then you're able to upgrade your stuff later on much better and ellie has a knife i don't have to make shivs over i could take a second to talk about the lighting over there by the board how it's kind of soft and it comes cascading in it actually has like a soft shadow like it just all feels so realistic feels from out of the blue no one knows or when this mysterious trans-dimensional being came from their ability to move in and around four-dimensional space at will has turned the tide in many battles though using this power leaves them as weak and vulnerable as a newborn newborns are [ __ ] strong they can lift a car claiming to have no name they were bestowed the nickname tesseracter by the society of champions however some suspect tesseracter is keeping their true undiscovered identity a secret they're neutral what's curtis and viper 2 about awesome things so two former commandos that go rogue to fight bad guys and i think in this one they go up against russian spies or something sounds stupid than i thought it would be all right so the young one viper he's a trained ninja and he's a complete badass nice so how old is he in the first movie uh 10. wait how many movies did they make of this oh uh i think they made four jeez joel actually saw the last one in the theater am i crazy yes just surviving day to day well i write new music so someone had a camera wait hold up there are original ellie songs why haven't you played any for me well i i don't know come on will you play one for me tonight i'll think about it am i this feels a lot like lockdown on quarantine right now do you think there's anybody out there he went to see that in the theater can you can you believe that uh [Music] looks better than the 6. ah you guys are cute together i don't trust it i'm so anxious oh we're back [Music] okay well i think that we're gonna leave that first episode there man we got through a lot so far not a great amount of like crazy stuff has happened we smoked weed we got high we had a kiss it was delightful but i feel like things are really going to start kicking off in the next episode it feels like something's going to come to a head and i'm very worried about what that might be but so far i absolutely love it i think it's amazing i think the the visuals of course are phenomenal sound design is phenomenal those things were always sort of going to be a given but i don't want to not give them credit just because it's expected they're really damn good um the character so far it really like pulls you in and like lets you learn more about them and makes you feel like they're actual people living their lives and they have their own personalities and it's not just they're not just like caricatures walking around they feel like they feel fleshed out they feel like real people and i love that so far but again that standard for the last of us the first game set a really high benchmark for that kind of stuff and this one so far is really living up to it it's really keeping that sort of high incredibly high production value going um really surprised by the switch to this to this character i didn't expect that at all i didn't know you had to play somebody else um and i don't know if that's just going to be a thing in the beginning or if that's going to be a thing that we alternate between for the entire game and in my head i can kind of see some things that might actually happen and some of the stuff that i said that i'm kind of thinking might happen are are still kind of lining up and i'm worried about it um but we'll see we'll see what happens going forward again if you are uh worried about spoilers for this type of game i will say please out of the goodness of your heart please do not spoil anything in the comments um i like reading comments on these types of series but when it comes to something so incredibly story driven and so incredibly story focused and spoiler spoilers can like ruin the whole experience i might have to take a back seat on some stuff like that this time but for anybody going into the comments be careful because people might just start posting spoilers everywhere and there's not really a whole lot i can do about that unless i just turn off comments completely and i don't want to have to do that i don't want to silence conversation on these types of videos but just be careful okay try not to get yourself spoiled just be in it for the experience and try not to delve too deep into the comments but also please just do not spoil it for anyone please be be a buddy be a bro be kind and just be cognizant that other people really really love this type of stuff myself included and you don't want the whole experience ruined just because of a comment that you see um but again i can't stop everybody so just be aware of that too but i'm really excited to keep this going really excited to take you guys along on this journey with me please leave a like on the video for this because i think it's going to be one of the biggest series of the year and you guys support is going to make that a reality so i'm i'm this is the one that i've been looking forward to this is the series where i feel like this is going to be the biggest thing on my channel this year and i'd like to start it off with a bang and also if you are new here and you just found me through this series and through this video don't forget to subscribe because i'm going to upload every single day until this game is done and you don't miss out on any videos so subscribe ring bells all that good stuff and stay notified for the next episode but until then i'm gonna have to bid you farewell you
