I Bought An Abandoned Storage Unit for $10... Look What's Inside!

all right welcome back youtube welcome back stackers here we are storage auction locker day picked up a locker here for 10 bucks low background on the storage facility itself just recently switched over ownership couple months ago and every locker that was sold was passed to over one year so these facilities usually kind of give you about a 1 month to one one month-to-month notice before they tell you hey luck when I put up for auction then about three or four months later they do put them up for auction so these have all been over one year I know one locker that was sold was past due over 1100 days so this might be a true wild-card you don't really come across as this often in the storage auction business that you know lockers aren't paid off of for years usually it's only a couple months I don't know what to expect I haven't been in this locker I paid $10 for it at auction there's only six other bidders a bunch of lockers went up for sale some didn't sell it should be fun I brought trash can I brought some bins a lot of people seem to like these storage auction videos so let's get into it and I'll show you guys what I found all right got it all set up got a tripod got a trash can my throw scrap metal Thor scrap metal into this one and then savable things into that one brought out one garbage bag I didn't know what was in here so go check that out alright here's what we bought doors a problem that's going to be a problem alright this is what a $10 looks like at a storage locker facility looks like we have a blue tarp in this bag there's some cobwebs in here so it's been here a while you guys might be able to see that this stuff has definitely been here a while nothing in here nothing in a box this looks like an Amazon box looks like probably college graduate of something get some DVD sets so that's good these are still sealed actually when I sell that's what I got another bin so should probably put on gloves as well if I have to go through these these are all make sure there's no money in these don't look like it just looks like a letter try to go through all that this is a piece of siding and no idea where this will come from no idea there's more siding down there this looks like all like a maybe aluminum siding some sort of that was a bug it's got some weight to it all broken glass so that's actually recyclable probably so so is all this stuff so so far what are we at that's the only good thing we got some lost DVDs this goes to a top of a bin so you'll find a bin in here my best bet is this someone's college stuff garbage bag up here it's light not symmetrically guitar so we have $5 this is a power pack for some video game system so maybe the video game systems in here we have a measuring cup Anchor Hocking housewares like iPhone 6 charger iPhone 5 torque the pride looks like an iPhone 4 or 5 charger bathroom curtain that was rigged together with one of these paint rollers which actually I might keep this for myself cuz I've never seen one with a long handle like that if that's a good piece even though it's pretty disgusting in a way this is just garbage this is a shower curtain more paper stuff nice a dustpan another one is well might they'll get a bumper to a piece for those looks like someone's bed comforter just don't want to might be a tennis player this is made by head to make a lot of tennis rackets so I'll have to go through all this I'll thing you guys want to look at clothes well that's what this looks like all clothes and bed comforter sort of kind of making some progress in here trap is good I don't know if there's anything in there no it doesn't look like there's anything in there this looks like I have a heart trade this is a big one this is not this is like catching groundhogs don't know why just looks like it's probably broken in some sort of wakes as this but it's about a five or ten dollar piece at the flea market a lot of people like these big traps what I keep for myself but I don't they I can figure out that whole contraption even though it's probably rigged together to make it work that's cool I don't think you're legally allowed to put this on the van but if I was I probably would I'll throw this into there it's kind of my flea market pile have here looks like another tarp that's what it is in our blue tarps that's another five or ten bucks probably go with the other tarp so right now we have two tarps I think I saw a third one down here in this bag that's probably got black widow spiders all around it so that will be fun there's some hard goods in there so we'll see what's in there it's like straight-up garbage general like why would you right ghosts on xbox360 no idea what this might be this looks like all [Music] Beach solo out the beats but it looks like we have a whole stack of games in here holy cow look at all these games coverings a little jacked up screwdriver that goes to some game this little just looks like I'll show you guys just garbage but there's games in there he got to dig through it this was kind of worried about I thought you know I'd probably find some garbage bags and just throw it into the garbage but you really never know what you might find half expecting to find Xbox here maybe some other video games this is definitely a great score for ten bucks so pretty much getting down to the pile down here there are we whacking outside so hear that got a whole another utility appears sky just alright got another cable all sorts of games work I feel like I've seen five coal duty mom where fairies or and Call of Duty mom warfare three more Cod another Call of Duty DVDs I don't want these battery packs a penny looks like that's it break here still got more games more Call of Duty and more cables found some these chargers [Music] scrap metal this place is definitely piling up out here I might have to make a run to the van here in a second I do see there's two pieces of furniture which isn't going to be fun hopefully they look like solid wood doesn't like press board but they don't look like antique furniture but we'll see when we get there there's for your silverware probably uh I can't write too much with that this thing guys can I can donate that but I don't think anyone's really gonna want it nice mallet got a car radio this came out of a local thrift store because I know the thrift store it uses these tags bows no no no this might be worth some money I think anything there's only 398 or something I don't know what this guy was planning to do with all this stuff is this the Xbox now it's more kitchenware I'm hopeful I'm hopeful there's an Xbox in here somewhere DVD player may be a running cleat got a wrench down here made by Napa never seen that the wrench there's the other cleat the rest all right grab this tote out of here it's loaded with plates plates and kids books so I like to go through that at home I don't think people want to see that just like clothes people don't really dig through that on film nothing too appealing about that so we got a couple tarps that's another box of recyclables it's going pretty good I probably got and now about 50 bucks worth of stuff probably 55 with the tower and some more totes down there so that's pretty appealing still trying to figure out why someone would save a piece of siding this goes to that - basketball hoop but I don't see the hoop part I just see this piece and that piece and this is one thing that kind of goes with the business is if you don't have a van or truck I don't know how you're going to get this piece home it's a it's gotta be eight feet and wouldn't really stick out of a Corvette but pretty hopeful I'm going to actually run some of this stuff to the truck I also forgot to bring a dustpan to dustpan that stuff up so it's good that they left these my runs on this stuff to the van and uh continue digging it's been a lot of fun a great treasure hunt that is for sure well worth it a little bit of work but we'll get through that's all paperwork there are some candle things as well here these are for candles I guess they're for like the little tea candles that's we got crock pot over there and they're a Mainer pieces of the crock pot right there also got the other ever list boxing-glove so you got a pair of there it's not bad found a couple waste baskets as well get a couple bucks for those as well I've sold them a couple times just came across this bag moving farther to the back that looks like the back has a couple couple bags most of it is just you know kind of similar to that video game bag where there was maybe four or five pieces that were good but then the rest was just garbage but did come across this bag it looks like we have some sort of case in here so I try to get this open bunch of staples those look like remotes and pieces for electronic to tired like those cables they used to tie your electronic wire Hardware birthday cards oh no this is a giraffe that outfit is in the bottom piece and more hardware and stuff so I have to go through that there's probably maybe three or five bucks in here plus the case is probably dollar two dollars so that's probably another five or six bucks I think I'm up to like 60 or 70 dollars so far fortunately I don't have to pay a disposal fee because these mattresses will be a pain in the butt if you had to dispose them I don't know they are yes they are dirty so they aren't something I can donate got another rug up there and back here looks like some scrap metal and the drawers for this chest that were painted a different color alright so that's going to kind of wrap it up here got most of it out have to get out the big pieces right here which are just going be garbage I get this dresser and then you have a mattress and box spring so that thing is garbage debts keep I had an art bin of keep another bin of scrap eventually filled up the other box of a other keep stuff with just like glassware some plates other things that never came across that Xbox but the Xbox games should sell and I know it's not the current console but it got rid of all the other things back here there was a king mark swing it had a brand new $199 but I think it was missing the seats and the awning so I might I'm scrapping it or I might have try playing together and see if it's if you can still do without it but it
