I adopted a cat.

a little over two months ago i went out and i made one of the best purchases of my life i went to an animal shelter and i got a cat this is jambo he's a six month old orange tabby that i adopted back in february i wanted a cat because not only could i use it for a lot of likes on instagram which is the only reason people buy animals now but i also wanted something that would just be nice to have around the house i wasn't gonna get one of those white dogs with like the the black [ __ ] in their eyes that every rich white girl has no my last pet was a bearded dragon and all he did was just like sit on a stick and it's pretty similar he's got his heating pad on and he just sits [Music] right we do our own thing you know jambo's got his life and i have mine i like it that way jambo i'm taking a [ __ ] stop it stop bro i gotta use that bro so what does jambo like to do well he likes following me around the house for one uh he'll follow me wherever i go and he'll just he'll just make noise this is his favorite thing to do by far whenever i'm not at my desk and able to give him attention uh he's just making noise [Music] he's very interested in bottle caps like if i ever have a bottle cap on my desk he will stop whatever he's doing to purposely come over here and swat the bottle cap off uh and then he just doesn't care about him anymore he likes being on top of things too i don't know how he does it but every now and then i'll just look and the cat will be like on top of the [ __ ] ceiling and i'm just like how did you how has he ever been up there i don't know recently found out that there's a bathtub and he brought some balls in there and he'll just sit in the drain and uh and kick the balls up the wall of the bathtub and then they'll come back down roll straight to him and he'll just do it again he's a genius i don't know what you want well well listen look i know the guns themselves don't kill people but come on let me tell you something this guy lives the absolute life of luxury i am jealous of how easy you have it [Music] everything in his life is automated he's got an automatic feeder that dispenses his favorite kibble three times a day he's got a water fountain with freshly filtered water spewing out of it 24 7. the dude has a [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] sweeper and it rotates counterclockwise and puts his [ __ ] into a bag [Applause] he literally has a robot that he shits and pisses into like dude i could perish i could be i could be lying on the floor lifeless for weeks and the dude would be fine i don't think he'd [ __ ] care also a funny fact about the cat feeder it uh it lets you record like a a feeding call as it calls it so it'll play a sound effect uh and then it dispenses the food right and the manual is like oh yeah you're supposed to say something like food time cupcake you know something dumb like that say the name of the cat so it knows who it is no i thought that was [ __ ] stupid so uh whenever it's feeding time that's right jambo the cat has a pavlovian response to monkey noises my uh my pizza rolls are done [Music] oh so people also ask me you know schlatt where'd you get the name jambo from you know that's a pretty it's a pretty unique name you know so everyone's trying to get a cat right now right you know a lot of people getting cats a lot of people looking to adopt the new kitten and uh hey hey and unfortunately jambo was not he wasn't my first choice you know my first choice was actually jambo yes there was another there was another orange tabby named jambo that i that i applied for and didn't get stop it and i thought jambo was a cool name you know so when i got this guy i just kind of called him that in memory of what could have been my twitch chat calls him soup for whatever reason i don't know why they call he see he's just i in my pizza rolls whenever i'm on like a podcast or or someone's stream and uh and soup and jambo comes by the the entire twitch chat just like spams oh you know soup free soup there he is oh soup you know i don't and i don't get it i mean i i imagine it's a reference to that andrew yang tweet where he just tweeted a picture of the most vile looking concoction known to man with the caption chicken soup and i just want to take a second just a moment of appreciation for how handsome jambo is i mean look at this guy look at him look at him and now here's a picture of minx's cat so yeah that's jambo he's adorable he's annoying he's a bit of an [ __ ] but you know the best part about him is that now that i recorded this video he is now a tax write-off [Music] bye okay
