I Actually Released Cthulhu in This INSANE Lovecraftian Horror Game and I Regret Everything

[Music] [Music] [Music] i'm a little excited uh based on the little tentacles you can see popping out of the font there which i think is the chinese rock font you can probably guess what this game has to do with this is the shore uh it is currently in its demo state which i'll link down in the description it is going to be available on steam i think but this is a horror adventure game first person that is very much inspired by hp lovecraft we are on this island with this soul lonely lighthouse it's so tiny it's so embarrassingly tiny uh but we are here alone and i think we're searching for a family member it might be our daughter i don't know but we're going to be encountering some eldritch [ __ ] some cosmic disgustingness i'm ready i hope you guys are ready too i know it's been a long time guys let's start it up whoa oh my god what a sad voice holy crap the music is beautiful also jesus christ this looks good oh oh i know what that symbol means what is this the shred of hope oh what a man needs to keep moving before he loses his sanity and his will walking along the shore reminded me of the walks i used to have with my wife oh dude i don't there it is oh my god okay this music and the theme so far i'm not ready to cry friends wow okay so sh we've had a shipwreck and i've lost my daughter and i'm assuming that i've lost my wife previously it that's set wait why what is that there's the lighthouse let's go to it can i i have no idea what i can interact with damn what were we doing out on the ship anyway oh maybe ellie came on this thing this is going to be like an edge of nowhere type deal where it's like i think uh they speak of a fisherman who was lost in a stranded space dude my heart just sank he never came back now i know where he lies well misfortunes could have drove him here hey got a body i thought for a very brief moment that that was her and i had been laying there for so long okay all right i'm ready i'm i'm building myself up to cry okay eventually i'll be able to and it's not right now i was forced to leave the lighthouse there's something wrong in all of us only the slumbering god can save us now oh no god is he talking about oh what god do you think he's talking about dude but everybody just type in the comments what god you think he's talking about do i have to switch where do i go from here this music's too beautiful for something weird to happen right now so i'm just gonna take it easy you know as the music starts to die out cool cool cool cool as we sink our feet in the sand for the last time she asked me to tell her one of my stories about the wild sea i could hear each of her breaths being shorter and shorter and by the time i finished my story pneumonia took her life oh my god jesus christ dude well done so this is unbelievable so far like the the emotion that's being captured is insane this is not good that's not good okay i can't even interact with that he's not gonna say something about that cool it's like cthulhu's thumb this big toe dude who is this narrator i gotta know i need this man in my life more oh god all right i'm gonna go into the lighthouse i'm clearly here at this pip squeak of a micro lighthouse oh wait yeah clearly giant lock cage for a human no thank you i hear a foghorn scary music don't cut yourself on the saw oh here we go wait a picture of the painting rather the lighthouse in the lighthouse that's beautiful it looks exactly like it did interesting hey it's a key oh a normal body shape no symmetrical shape that could define a logical form unsymmetrical mouths all over its body disputed and injured and quite forgotten it's been 27 days since we are here and we came across something that our minds cannot comprehend how could such a thing exist how does god justify this how can he allow such monsters to roam upon his creation my mind is terrorized a million times each time i try to visualize this beast my hand is shaking as i draw each line oh my god no [Music] a short blue tongue no eyelids shark eyes i tried to speak to them but in return they hissed and growl and made all kinds of weird noises no trace of language something is wrong here yeah wait what did i just pick up what is that oh it has an eyeball can i interact with this that looks like a potential necronomicon uh what did i pick up was it this one the artifact we found this statue it looks ancient our captain says we should take it back with us a note written by a stranded sailor he talks about his crewmate going insane after finding what he considered a cursed artifact the statue does give off negative energy but could it really be the reason the sailor met such hardship makes me question whether taking the statue with me was wise wait what's that you i didn't take a statue i don't own a statue oh this yeah yeah why would i why would i take that all right cool there's another one over here too yeah again i don't think this is clearly not my lighthouse clearly unless i forgot about being here that's a possibility as well i'm getting like edge of nowhere feels from this you know oh oh my god is that my ship did someone just flip it wait what is that where i'm going i guess oh no that's my ship then what the hell is this and what is that another lighthouse oh there's another ship oh god this is just the place where all the ships come to crash all right we're up top the puny lighthouse oh my god there's another there's two three four five whoa hey what the [ __ ] dude is the color out of space and a dead shark it's blinking okay i have a lot to explore on the shore why do these have bullets in them all right so i've seen the lighthouse now i'm not exactly sure what to expect but i've i've seen uh oh what is that oh god dude i thought i thought something was casting a shadow i turned on a light that's good did it affect purple thingy no i can't jump otherwise i'd go down there okay is there anything else i can do with this nope okay cool beautiful music oh that music's loud hey i can't breathe it's so loud all right is there fresh food here oh that looks delicious probably old oh wait i got a key can i open this wait i did okay the key was for this oh [ __ ] that's a dead guy that is a dude dead man how do they managed to let him die in here what made them forsake their civil ways it's the slumbering god you idiot pay attention oh that's a kid looks like a kid and prince why what was the point in going down here oh oh no this is the thing he was looking at this is the thing that was under the the microscope oh [ __ ] right let me check that because it looks the same except for that one in here it looks like it's coming alive yeah see it's like the eyeballs are like and the tentacles are like taking over it i recovered this from the grasp of a corpse locked up under the lighthouse the cadaver was such a dreadful sight i can't take it out of my head it was dried up resembling a statue and he had such a horrifying expression it sent shivers down my spine and the darkness of that seller he must have seen something so horrid his heart gave out from the shock whoever locked him down there did a truly despicable act uh we've really got to work on that um spelling and grammar there unless i'm just dumb that's also a possibility oh the purple thing should i go to the purple thing i don't know what to go to first my friends i don't think i can go to the boat actually oh i'm blocked by another one of czu's toe nothing happened oh i know i know i know i know i know it's over here i found the other toe okay so these medallions go into the toes so i can call these toenails nothing happened what was there another one i missed okay guess i'm going inland oh there's a cave with the blue markings again what is that i saw that i saw the water thing i saw that [ __ ] hell dude i saw you aren't you [Music] there's something i would like to show you am i laying down what is a voice get out of my head oh i'm crouched oh he was in pain jesus [ __ ] christ dude my ears are about to blow off is not good there's nothing good about any of this no no no no no i'm not proceeding into the pit my friend oh my [ __ ] well i guess ellie's dead right i think it's safe to assume that ellie's dead how could you possibly survive this all right i guess i'm walking into the pit i'm so excited oh no okay i'm going it's the lighthouse thing monolith it's not a lighthouse it's a monolith break it free it doesn't move holy [ __ ] what a monument dude okay what am i supposed to do here there's three more of these things oh what did i do okay i'm going to the next one i do i love how like at first sight i was just like oh look there's no lighthouse that's not a lighthouse okay that one's spinning now i guess i do the opposite one oh there's another ship jesus christ damn did i travel that far from the lighthouse holy [ __ ] okay and now i activate the one in front this is terrifying i guess i could just leave right how do i get out of the pit oh my god it worked oh see the world through the eyes of a god like a dream and a flash of light beware of the existence of mine and grass oh my god it's a lie a conscious mind [Music] yeah holy [ __ ] what is it doing dude that is so [ __ ] cool looking did i free it were you stuck or something the music would say that you're friendly ain't no way i'm going in that water dude holy hell man oh wait it's not leaving it's going somewhere else what the [ __ ] it's moving so slow am i supposed to be doing something in between this i wonder if that was an actual quote from lovecraft's work see through the eyes of a god hello are you gonna help me out is it moving oh my god it is still moving okay i guess it's not really like oh there we go hey i did it is it coming to the lighthouse holy [ __ ] okay i'm gonna go away from here i feel like i'm running out of time i feel like maybe i'm supposed to complete something before it reaches where it's going [Music] oh it worked now why did it work now this place feels like it was always a part of me as if it has taken a hold of me and won't let go not a foot in the sand but this time so deeper beneath the shore yeah i i kind of feel that way too i feel like eventually we're going to realize that you've been a part of this place all along oh here we go more stuff we do not dare to walk the shores when the night comes something in the dark seemed to follow in great speed uh we hid inside the small cave we had to stay there for the rest of the night begin to fear that we are no longer safe on this island we have to leave but seems everything works against us john one of the crew members found a camera if we get it to work we should try taking oh we got cameras that's nice nice trident dead bodies lots of corpses on a trident where are you going dude he's almost behind the puny lighthouse he's here to compare sizes okay so clearly i'm not going to be out here when the night comes that would be a bad idea so i'm just gonna keep venturing on this shoreline hey there's the boat wait is that a [ __ ] plane is that a plane or a submarine there we go what are you working upon my daughter's toy gave me some sort of happiness and i can't take my mind off the idea she's been taken by one of those creatures yeah yeah that's a strong possibility friend you need to start making peace with that like right now yeah this is definitely edge of nowhere feels i don't know where my mind is slipped into madness if it's hp love craft themed i've already lost it my friend here's that boat solitude and peace is what a soul seeks after being free that they die in vain it appears they were murdered what a horrible way to find solitude oh that's interesting oh i get descriptions of all this right this picture shows two creatures creeping up uh the rocks about to attack the three misfortunate sailors the appearance of the aforementioned creatures very similar to illustrations found on the page i discovered in the lighthouse it doesn't make sense i thought those creatures were a figment of somebody's imagination but here they look so real could this picture and the bones of those men be proof of their existence yes i mean i saw those creatures right aren't those what those blue ones are the ones that are the in the pit right there was a bunch of those as well is he still over there i don't see him anymore where is he all right what's on the boat what's on the orca i can jump now i can jump let me let me see what he says about this i like his descriptions i can go into the inventory and see it i cannot believe my eyes this picture shows a mantra sea creature flying its tentacles around the photograph appears to have been taken close to the shore too the sea is vast and the depths are full of dangerous specimens but this monster is too much i don't know what lies at the bottom of the sea but seeing this fiend so close to the shore is nightmare inducing i mean it just kind of looks like an octopus i'm not gonna i'm not gonna lie to you here all right now that i can jump i can peek and see if this guy is still here i don't i think he's gone i feel like uh i mean obviously this game is very um hello i see you what do you want me to do [Music] no anything to see her face again dude this is getting dark no stay away stay away holy [ __ ] [ __ ] all right my friend i guess i'm doing it i'm guessing going inside [Music] attack what get rid of them what i don't want to attack is there fighting in this game really holy [ __ ] there is oh you guys are weird-looking stop running at me like that ow i'm gonna get hit i'm gonna get killed this is the freaking zora dude why am i sitting here like jesus christ there's bodies in these can i get my axe back well maybe it was only for that sequence that i get to fight yeah i feel like if you've never seen a whale bone or will skull this would be kind of creepy right oh there's something in there what is that what is it what is it something smoking oh no no no i'm not doing that you're insane all right fine i'm doing it this man just so willingly why would ellie be down there and now through the deaths you will find your that's definitely a submarine everything is drawn to this place just to die except the fish the fish are still alive that's strange i don't know what this music means either oh i love the reflection because it makes you feel like which part of the world is is the right side you know you bastard i need a weapon oh no not another statue uh it's cthulhu of course it is i don't know what i was expecting i have no idea what i was expecting what does he have to say about that a statue similar to the previous one it depicts a demonic creature crouched down with dormant power bleeding out of it upon touching the statue i was engulfed by the black i lost consciousness and i woke up in a nightmarish void at the end of the cavernous terror i found the statue in flesh form the monstrous entity woke up and locked eyes with me as he was staring down my soul i was overwhelmed by the oppressive power of the beast i've never felt such fear i was lost powerless against the god the goodly godly entity but in one blink it all went away and i was on the island again what the [ __ ] the music stopped while i was reading that i had a close encounter with cthulhu i didn't see it though i don't like how it's so quiet it's awful it's awful awful there's like a a pillar right there am i in relay no way oh i actually have the suit on i didn't even notice so i'm assuming the blue guys are supposed to be like the um what are they called like the ones from the sea the actual like creatures that could talk and stuff that i'm all too unfamiliar with when it comes to lovecraft lore the deep ones right is that what they're called i'm coming out of the water now [Music] should i have done that i guess i could walk over here to a different part of the shore and go down oh never mind aha wait can i pick it up again holy [ __ ] dude nothing is right about that oh [ __ ] oh [ __ ] there's a plane everything is crashing here now that i think about it the soundtrack kind of reminds me of lost a little bit here we are this is what i want to go into all right hell yeah what shoot oh my god what the [ __ ] am i am i one of those guys now [Music] jesus did you did you hear the way he said cthulhu it's like accurate [Music] there we go oh my god dude holy christ [Music] jesus no did i die that's an interesting twist of events i thought this was a walking simulator now i gotta fight a beast holy christ oh my god oh my god okay i don't know if i can kill him right that's that would be impossible oh [ __ ] that was so close i open the door come on come would i do this how has this turned to me wanting to find my damn daughter hi i'm not supposed to look at him dude i'm pretty sure i'm already insane i guess where am i now what do i do now is it supposed to go [Laughter] no thank you for playing oh my god the shore there you go wow wow wow wow wow he's still moving what happened did i get drunk thank you everyone i hope you enjoyed the demo due to the lockdown the narrations were recorded using a cell phone what dude it sounded so good i want to thank everyone who helped me with their positive energy from social media made this true this come true and kept me going all the characters in the game were created based on real life people oh my god you can reset the story and play again from the beginning okay dude i love the there are so many good lovecraft inspired games like it's almost like you can't really go wrong if you really adapt the themes properly i think this did a really good job with that not i mean not even to mention the visuals of it seriously these like models it's incredible these are some of the best looking models i've seen in a cthulhu game like ever the story kind of took a huge turn though because i'm pretty sure i'm still looking for my daughter i got no hint of her other than her toy which reminds me of like the forest kind of then we just kind of went to to [ __ ] we went into the cosmos dude what the hell was that it just took a 180 so fast but anyway that is the shore now that's just the demo by the way this is gonna be a full-fledged game check out the steam page you could probably get a lot more information uh i don't think we ran into some other creature i don't know if maybe there's different stuff that i can do more videos along the way sorry for the uh delay there's been some
