hello everyone razza here in this video we will explore how we can use the power of copilot in Microsoft Word we can ask copilot to create content for us or edit existing content rewrite text or transform text to tables with ease quickly summarize or find things in a document so let's check it out in action co-pilot in word Works alongside you to help you create cont content edit your existing content catch up on content or ask questions about your document I have the Microsoft 365 co-pilot license assigned to my account in Microsoft Word I have co-pilot light up right here in the document editing experience itself and I can start drafting my document with co-pilot let's start with quick outline that talks about AI in Power Platform so I'll ask co-pilot to go and generate that content for me click generate and copilot starts generating the content I can either keep this so it will apply it in my document or I can ask copilot to regenerate or simply discard it additionally I can ask it to make further changes for example I'll ask it to make it concise and copilot goes about refining my content now notice it says two of two if I go back this was the original text this was my followup to make it concise and I can choose which option I would like to keep or I can simply keep asking co-pilot to make more modifications to this and once I'm okay with the content I click keep it and it applies that content to my document I can also ask co-pilot to rewrite text I'll highlight this section and this time I'll rewrite with co-pilot so I'll ask co-pilot to rewrite this and copilot begins drafting the rewrites and it gives me three options in this scenario to choose from I can either replace the existing content or I can add this as an additional section below the current highlighted text or I can ask copilot to regenerate the rewrite or I can adjust the tone by default it uses the neutral tone make this professional I click regenerate and it gives me a more professional tone I'll ask it to insert below my current text I can can also highlight text and go to co-pilot and ask it to visualize this text as a table it's generated a table for me I can decide to keep or regenerate or discard or ask it to make it formal or any other input type that I would like to Define here I'll say keep it remember when we ask co-pilot to draft something for us it always generates a draft to begin with because we need to verify and modify details to make sure it's accurate and fits our tone and style for even better results we can give copilot more context to work with for example from a file these files can be Word files or PowerPoint files let's say a colleague shared a presentation with me about AI co-pilots in power apps and power automate and I would like to reference this file and ask Co pilot to generate content for example summarize information from and here I'll reference a file here is my PowerPoint file I'll select this click generate now M365 co-pilot has context of the PowerPoint deck so it will start generating a summary of that deck I'll ask it to make it five paragraphs long and copilot has done exactly that I'll keep it another thing what we can do is we can simply ask co-pilot to inspire us here co-pilot uses the context of the document to draft an idea for you this document is all about AI in Power Platform and co-pilot goes and drafts some content that I can again keep regenerate or discard here I have an existing Word document where I can Leverage The Power of co-pilot I can simply ask it to drop new content reference a file give me some inspiration or select existing content and ask copilot to rewrite it or in the scenario I would like to visualize this as a table and copilot generates a table of my selected text now even here I can ask it to make further changes to the table for example add a fifth column for notes and copilot starts working its magic here is my new column for notes now you can also chat with copil about your word document we have copilot I can open CoPilot co-pilot has full context about the current Word document I can ask you to do things like summarize the document very handy to quickly get the essence of the document here I have a Word document that has action items based on a project meeting is there an action item assigned to Resa and copilot has complete context of the document so it goes and grabs that specific action item that's assigned to me I can ask followup questions like what is the deadline for eza's action item and it gives me the deadline it also gives me the reference to where it found that specific deadline you can also ask open-ended questions like how can I edit this document to make it sound more casual any general questions you can ask Co pilot now in this case I asked copilot to generate a summary of the document which it did I can go back and ask it to include more details or change the tone or I can simply just copy this go and paste it there are also certain prompts that are provided here so you get some good examples of prompts that can help you create content with the co-pilot or prompts related to understanding of this document or asking questions in general to co-pilot there is also an option where you can enable your microphone to have a voice conversation there is also good guidance given around the dos and don'ts when prompting with Microsoft 365 co-pilot I'll highly recommend you to check these out if you enjoyed this video then do like comment and subscribe to my YouTube channel and thank you so much for
