want to get right into it because it's getting colder it's you know canada is getting chilly today is a warmer day but for the most part we are definitely getting into colder weather so daddy without further ado tell the people them when we are cooked today we're gonna cook some beef soup beef soup yes i'm so excited daddy's soup is so good so i am so ready to devour so what do we have here daddy we have some beef this is it the neck of the cow cow neck so for the last couple days my mom my sister everybody's been skinning up their face on this cow neck concept and i was just like but how dare you guys eat cow foot and then get mad at the night and your neck is more meaty yeah you have the bone that you need for your soup awesome i'm excited because you ever get into a pot of soup or something and it's almost like the pieces are just you know non-existent this looks like you're really able to get a nice piece of meat on the bone and i tell you a lot of people like that one because i like to suck it oh for the marrow and all that yes all the good things that you need a lot of people like to suck the bone it's awesome i am one of them people all right that is so cool let's get right into it these are the this is already washed okay and what did you wash it with vinegar yeah you have to tell the people there because some people might wash their meat three times with water and vinegar okay so i'm gonna put it in the pot right now so what's going on in this pot it's boiling pot is boiling and what's in it what i put in here i put some garlic and a piece of catch bunny pepper flavor in the pot at the same time when it's boiling right okay how long has it been boiling for well i guess you just boil it until it boils right okay so i'm gonna put all the meats in do it like these people because you don't want to just trading it's pressure on you you don't want to burn yourself oh so bring it as close to the water as possible then drop it yeah don't just dash it in or you might burn up yourself yeah water's gonna splash on you you know what burn up yourself you don't want that no sir we want you to be safe here at eddie's kitchen okay we love you we want you in one piece oh it's changing color already in the pot because of the meat wow and i'm saying the actual meat is like changing color i guess because of the hot water okay okay okay now over here all right what do we got going on this is what i'm gonna put inside the pot right now with the meat i have carrots turnip and chocho okay so i'll just leave all these just to show you what i put in it is it turning this is chocho this is a carrot yes and pumpkin is in here because we have such a multicultural family go ahead and tell us in the comments what chocho is in your country again just so everybody understands you know because whenever we say chocho people are like what's chocho but it's called so many different things in different places right yes and even it's not going near yet yes okay not yet right he was gonna show that i was gonna shout out the family that got us these beautiful scotch bonnet peppers that you can't even find inside the grocery store okay look at the color of that i mean they grew them in their backyard shout out to michael shout out to marion my my my beautiful family our second family it's my assistant's family guys and they are amazing and they sent us all of these and they're deadly not true daddy okay very hot okay i'm gonna put some pimento seed in it okay a few maybe this about it 15 okay that's flavor right here 15 and i'm gonna drop this i have some time to put in a flavor my pot right away i'm gonna put more later oh my gosh full already amount to eat it yep we sure do because i'm about to i'm already on my second ball in my mind so you better make enough dumpling i i think this part is so how small bigger are we gonna get the pot look how tall it is gonna kiss the microwave but look at this food over here okay there's so much dumpling and food that still needs to go in here but we're going to figure it out maybe you have to drain off some of the water from now diddy water it's not the water it's what's in the pot okay okay all right so what's our next step i'm going to put some onions in it onion let's get in and scallion wholesale i love onions you already know how i feel about onions if you're new here you must know i don't mess with the people who don't cook with onions and garlic unless they're allergic but if you're willingly leaving now onions and garlic i don't know you might be a serial killer maybe i'm just saying yes this is the provision i'm gonna put in the pot provision this is um sweet potatoes sweet potato yeah yeah yellow yellow and cocoa and cocoa and cassava and so all of these are going to go into the pot yeah when the meat is cooked not that part though because that the pot food that is i have to go change the pot to a bigger one okay it won't fit mm-hmm you're not even talk about the dumpling yet something's over there i mix my flour with some cornmeal i'm gonna need it so all of that still needs to go into the pot yes but not that part not that part switch your pot switch all the parts let's switch your body part okay one bigger one part where you sit outside outside of the club when they're giving you corn soup you don't know that though you don't know that daddy because on those nights you're getting ready for church in the next morning i don't go to those places so i'm putting them on my provision [Music] jamaicans call it food i think like vincentians and chinese call it provision i think all around the islands they call it provision i think we're the only ones that are we may know about i said that because then but now you know everybody's always ready to tell the jamaican that they're not the only one the food so do you know how much yes okay so all of the food the provision is inside the pot so what's next except the dumpling and the pack full already daddy what's wrong with my hand here and just multiply everything in then he gave me a little skim off of the beef because so okay so we just let's let's backtrack a little bit daddy yes so you made that pot before you put in the provision just how we saw it before with the meat and the carrot carrots and all that stuff that boiled in the pot for what about an hour yeah with the meat with the meat so before he even switched over the pot he made it boil look look look oh look ooh inaudible just read show up no stop saying that i think he was at work um but yeah what we were saying guys guys remember we're filming an episode look at the joy that came up on daddy's face when it gets home it doesn't seem like everyone can't come around [Music] [Laughter] beef soup and the beef is so good because it's a different cut of beef like it's a more mmm it's delicious it was my friend's birthday yesterday see we know i know i know right now you know i come from nowhere then you leave one party to work i hope you guys appreciate this intermission because obviously they have forgotten that we are filming an episode a live people that's how it goes that's true and true and this is why they um but there's no jamaican soup like dumpling but let's next dumpling there's no drinking soup that is good without dumpling um but while i was saying daddy so before we put in the food before you guys got to that point the pot was boiling with just the meat and the seasoning that he put in there and the carrots and what not for about an hour what an hour and fifteen minutes steady yes yeah just because the the meat has to cook first right yes all right so you have to make sure that the meat gets nice and soft you can't put the dumpling and the provision and all that stuff in with the meat right away because then all of it will boil away right yes cooked out enemy don't cook wanna take seminar okay listen i'm about to the pot fuller you know and i have coconut juice to go in there just so you guys know fresh coconut milk that daddy just made from the coconut he opened up the coconut and blended it over yeah man coconut milk is gonna set it off though yes it's gonna set it off all right so let's just roll up the rest of these dumplings and then we'll be back when it's time to put the coconut milk in all the mercy okay look at these people wow i forgot to transfer some of these to this part then i put in my coconut so wait so you have to transfer some yeah it's gonna overflow coconut milk okay obviously you guys won't have this issue because you're going to be making enough soup for whoever you got in the house but remember we got a lot of people i've never seen you um this before daddy you'll see you know love it about you though you know you met do you you make it happen yes okay okay i want i want to take that beef so badly also you're putting the fire on this too to keep it hot and not cook yet almost so i have to put the coconut milk in this pot and someone in this pot with some of your food do you understand so you're gonna be making two pots now yes and then i put in my my noodles your nougat [Music] this one's a little different than normal usually you guys do this one you mix them you combine flavors together you get the good stuff i'm sad here for the two parts okay sounds good and when i finish this now i'm gonna seize my pot and let it cook all the way non-stop i can't wait okay i'm putting coconut milk in whoa i'm summoning this one whoa okay okay so you're saying you're doing it times two yeah now mash up your provision you see everything change right here because of the coconut milk coconut milk upset up to the ante yeah so when it's wired up now i'm gonna hide my logo no am i seasoning okay don't worry guys it's coming it's gonna get thicker it's gonna get seasoned up nice it's coming you guys are gonna be able to make the best jamaican beef soup the best the very best right that is yeah i got them for noah nothing but this nothing but the best okay so now what how long has the pot been boiling now ten minutes now that it's been separated and now is the time that daddy is going to put in all of his uh douglas as he says it douglas yeah and yeah and some all-purpose seasoning sister maggie oh no i'll come back now oh it's already cut my bed i thought it was folded over okay so all-purpose seasoning from maggie and then another maggie fuller body pots look on them branding on a million over here seasoning salt garlic powder black pepper seasoning salt garlic powder and black i don't know if you have enough seasoning salt for the two part let me know that difficult you're not gonna make with a fresh soup today okay remember this is salty these yeah yeah i always have steady salted salty i bet you any money i'm gonna have to tell you you have to add some more um you see you might have to pour it back in there no no there we go oh more water steady come on come on you're gonna make it or fresh in it yet so i guess i'm just gonna put all my seasoning in all my season all right purple seasoning so all purpose just went in there look at our purpose for this we go apart i'm splitting it i'm getting cooking up i always i always forget sometimes we forget sorry you know i mean i don't care about one pattern i know but okay so all your all purposes are put in okay seasoning salt so approximately how much seasoning sauce garlic powder garlic powder tablespoon tablespoon half tablespoon black pepper half tablespoon tablespoon stir it up it need more just i tell you all these pieces of beef are just giving me all the life man juicy i'm bringing a little ball from my friends because we got a meeting this evening and let me tell you if she even look like she's not enjoying it me i'll take it back from her okay oh no funny shout out to grace in the building my other brand was karita premium jamaican ram goat soup two it's making me sneeze so this is what daddy's saying has all of the salt and sodium and this is why he's saying he's being skimpy with this we'll see i'll be the judge of that think about it your tastes and if you know that you're gonna need more soggy that's how they look more salt simple as that it's better to be not too salty and add more salt than because it's salty you can't get it but you can't take it out you can't do nothing about it you're right you're right mix it on yes yes now this bad boy go right here right tonight amigo you know that now make it burst in there daddy no come on these are funky people you will not eat it yes i will i like my me and mark like are soup spicy well when i shield here so you can do whatever you want with it with the pepper and security yeah okay so update while guanine are ready [Music] oh wow it just looks prettier and prettier by the moment oh wow guys i tasted a little bit okay i'm giving this five more minutes five minutes five okay when did we start cooking diddy when do we start what three o'clock three o'clock and it's what almost six o'clock okay so you guys can get a little a little gauge of how much time patience in cooking yes listen we're only like the patient people because that the patient people that's when their food is busting patients and then he's saying bosses yeah when your food is good someone says oh daddy your food is boxing yeah young people die that's that gen z really like freddy love it it's gonna be so delicious should we put it at the start from my shell eat it i don't want that you don't like that you don't like that it was mashing up well it's probably because of you know what the food does when it's soft like that it's taking the soup also i love that so you're not missing anything because everything is in the liquid in the soup that's why soup is so good for you then it would be so good for you because like it's not like you lose any of the nutrients even if it boils out it's within the broth yes and you're drinking it that's what make your trunk three
