hi everybody everybody I'm back and today today Gina young is gonna show you all how to make a shrimp boil boil shrimp boil boil is absolutely amazing it's really convenient okay and it's not a whole lot of seafood it's just like the perfect amount how many of you sit at home sometimes and you say I want a seafood boil but you don't make it because you don't want to go through all of the hassle and you don't want to have leftovers I have a trick for you I'm gonna show you how quick and simple this can be made listen here it tastes so good so you've all seen my video for how I did my steak foil boil be sure to check that at that video out if you haven't seen it yep here's what you'll need to make Gina young style shrimp foil boils let's get down to business all right so I have some undoing sausage people say the name a little different I say andouille okay now this is the Cajun style Unduli it is all natural smoked sausage alright and here's what they look like okay feel free to use any type of smoked sausage that you would like to use absolutely you can I have some fresh corn on the cob and I have some jumbo shrimp here that I have peeled and deveined and I always like to leave the tails on okay because me personally I like to eat the tails if you're not a fan of the tails then by all means take the tails off okay I've boiled three eggs because we're gonna make three foil boils so I have three eggs here now I have parsley sea salt cracked black pepper let's put our eggs over here garlic powder Old Bay seasoning and I have some butter okay and then I also have Ruby sensation bite-size but Saito's are they the cutest thing you've ever seen in your life they're tiny okay now sometimes have you all ever made up seafood boil and for some reason your potatoes didn't get done well use these I highly suggest using these you want to rinse them off just like you would any potato and you can put these into your foil now what I'm going to do yes I have a pan I have this pan here and what I'm choosing to do is I want to take let me rinse my potatoes off first so I'm going to rinse the amount of potatoes then I want to use rinse those off and then I'm gonna cook my potatoes in this water for five minutes only just to give them a head start because the last thing that I want to do is open up my foil and for some reason my potato is not done this recipe does not require a lot of things to do it does not require a lot of ingredients and I can assure you that your potatoes are gonna be well done by cooking them for you know a couple of minutes all right so we're just gonna take out the potatoes that you want to use this like so we're gonna give them a nice rinse okay and then we're gonna put them in this pan and start them on the stove what you'll do is you'll start cooking your potatoes um in the cold water once the water comes up to a boil you'll cook your potatoes for five minutes after five minutes we'll drain them and then we'll let them set aside and then we can assemble up our foil boils let me wash these off and I'll be right back okay everybody our cute little potatoes have been washed I'm going to go ahead and set them down in this water like I said bring that water after it boils only cook them for five what five to seven minutes I'm going to go ahead and put this on the burner right now on a medium-high heat all right now let's go ahead and chop up our unbeli sausage if you wanted to use a kielbasa sausage that would work as well any type of sausage if you wanted to use a smoked sausage a turkey sausage or a beef sausage whatever type of sausage you like would be wonderful andouille is amazing it has such great flavor especially when you mix it with the Old Bay seasoning that garlic powder the butter and the flavor from the corn it just really makes for a nice seafood boil absolutely it does whoo and it smells so good look down in there oh that's an amazing sausage whoo my mouth is watering and we are so excited for our little shrimp foya boils last time I made foil boils I made the the steak one and my family they loved it okay so there's that want to get a platter I hope you all are having a getting right back on track okay so here's what we do with this you're gonna take your knife and see you can't we don't one since we're doing um oil boils I like to cut mines in this manner let me show you just like that okay I like to have pieces like this in my foil oil okay so just be very careful and chop it just like so okay that's how I like mine okay now I mean honestly if you're afraid to do your knife in that manner then you can just take you know and do this if you wanted to it's up to your discretion but I think doing it this way is just like the cutest thing right okay so I'm going to continue to chop up or just like so that's really the size I would like for all of them to be just like that but if you can't then don't worry about it okay well I tell you one thing that's sausage right there smells amazing alright and you know let's see I might not even have to chop any more maybe I'll boil this for myself I might not even have to chop any more that might be enough because honestly to make three foil boils okay so we have all of our ingredients here just like this now we're going to take our foil okay and you want to have at least two pieces the same size all right just like this I like to use two pieces all right I feel like two pieces makes me feel like it's more sturdy okay and the first thing that we're gonna do now these eggs will not go into your foil boil what will happen is when you open up your foil boil then you just go ahead and take your peeled egg and you just put it right there in the middle of your shrimp boil all right now let's take some beautiful well here's what I'd like to do let's see I'm moving a little I've want to season up my corn I want to season up my shrimp as well and we're going to do that right here whoo wait it looks good my goodness so let's put Old Bay seasoning let me take some olive oil first I like to use a little bit of garlic infused olive oil okay you know want to put this all over everything we don't have to put the oil over the the Unduli sausage okay the sausage does have some fat in it and you just don't need it okay all right just like so all right that's gonna help to keep this nice and juicy and it's also going to help for your spices to adhere to all of this goodness so just move it around just like so don't be afraid to go in with your hands and do things as long as your hands are impeccably clean hey listen here you can use your hands all right just like this so we have the oil all over our beautiful corn in our shrimp bring your Unduli sausage whatever types all set your turkey sausage chicken apple sausage whatever you decide to use and mix that in as well now and start to distribute the seasoning all over everything even the sausage okay now this here is the Old Bay seasoning I feel like when you have a seafood boil you have to use you have to you have to use old bay it just wouldn't be right if you didn't okay this right here is what's gonna make the flavor pop in this dish trust me when I tell you this absolutely it will and then we're going to stir everything around so that everything has even flavor all throughout I don't want you all to be afraid to season if you're afraid to season your food won't taste right it has to be seasoned in order to taste delicious okay you don't want to be able to suck those spices all for those meats suck those spices all for that corn you know really you do okay that was garlic powder and this is cracked black pepper you all don't make this you are definitely missing out you hear me whoa don't miss out don't miss the train guys this right here is gonna really take you for a loop and you can put any seafood you want in here you know you can put pieces fish in here you could put mussels in here clams whatever you want it to put in here really you can if you wanted to put lemon slices in here you better believe you can okay we're gonna use a little bit of salt don't get crazy with the salt but you do need some okay and if you need a salt substitute by all means use your salt substitutes okay that's enough salt we're gonna put some parsley this parsley is not gonna give any flavor but it's just gonna make everything nice and beautiful okay nice and beautiful is what we're always looking for I don't know about you all but I like to eat with my eyes I like for everything to be nice and gorgeous before I put it in my mouth really I do okay all right so then I'm gonna go in with my hands let me wash my hands one more time so I'm gonna go in and wash my hands okay now let's go ahead get back in there don't be afraid to touch this is nothing but spices all right move all of those spices and kind of rub them in all over your ingredients just like this hue this looks good right here right we don't even need the foil if you didn't want to it's so beautiful outside today guys really I think it's about 73 degrees today that's odd because we've been having you know 90 something degree weather and today is just it's just about 73 degrees out and it's beautiful okay so now that we have everything ready we're going to take our potatoes out all right okay so now I'm just gonna pour the water off all right we're going to our potatoes to our boil I'm just draining the water potatoes go in and honestly these potatoes they will pick up the flavor from all of the spices if you wanted to throw in you know a little bit of spices on top of it you can okay so let's go ahead and do that cuz some of you might say Gina you better season them but they this girl you know so we're gonna go ahead and season them but I'm not gonna put any salt on the potatoes okay I feel like the salt has enough you know our spices are already or that what am I trying to say guys the boil has enough salt in it already so I'm not gonna solve the potatoes all right how's that now we're working all right now let's bring our oil out let's make some oil boils this part is so much fun the kids can do this part it's so simple nothing about this video nothing about this video it's hard this recipe is amazing the kids can help you as well and we're gonna have beautiful in an instant this video is going to take much longer you know because I'm talking and I'm editing in different things like that but this video will take much longer than it actually takes to do the foil boil okay make sure that my camera so now we grab all of our goodness make sure that you get everything and in the middle of your foil just like so potatoes and all make sure everything is even you want everyone's to look the same you know if you have four pieces of corn and one make sure that the other gets four pieces of corn if one has four pieces of shrimp make sure the other is the same so no one will feel like you know you want everyone's to look the same look at this look at this we have the perfect amount of everything all in one little package one little package this right here is amazing it's gonna be delicious all you have to do is take your foil pull it up in this manner and we're gonna make it really tight so that we can make sort of an envelope okay and that envelope is gonna hold all of this goodness all of the juices and everything right in this envelope and then we're just going to set this and this is butter we're just gonna set this on top of a baking sheet this will get baked in the oven on 375 and when it comes out I'll let you know exactly how long it took for all of our ingredients to get done remember don't skip the part where we precooked our little potatoes you have to do that in order for your potatoes to come out nice and beautiful and tender okay watch this this is all we're doing nothing hard everything that I do in this kitchen you all can do as well and you'll be successful at it it'll turn out exactly like mine okay see that the perfect amount okay everything's nice and snug and you kind of fold the top over make sure you close the sides in well so that nothing leaks out you want all those beautiful juices those juices are gonna be so tasty inside this bad boy you're gonna be able to drink those juices you hear me what we're gonna do let's make two more of these you see how easy it is you know I find when I make these food boils that I have a little too much you know and I never want anything to go to waste but you still get cravings for it and when you get cravings for it you can make a little tiny seafood boil for yourself just enough that it won't have to get wasted you know and you can satisfy your urge for your seafood boil like I said if you wanted to put any seafood in here absolutely you can whatever floats your boat you make this yours if there's an ingredient in here that you don't like and by all means put the ingredients in here that you do like all right so that you can enjoy it as well all right now we're gonna take you see I'm taking a nice amount of butter because I want all of those seasonings to float just to float in the steam there's gonna okay so steam is going to form in the packet and once the steam forms it causes a little bit of water and the butter and the waters gonna mix together and all of those seasonings and you have one beautiful marriage absolutely okay see that there close it up don't be afraid to squeeze this squeeze it make it tight we don't want any of that goodness coming out just like so okay okay everybody we have our third coil Boyle right here and this one has a little more extra shrimp in there which is just fine okay who wouldn't love a little bit more shrimp okay make sure the top is nice and feel sides are close together I'm going to grab my my pan here and these are going in the oven I'll be right back not before I put the butter in the third one almost forgot almost forgot there we go get in there okay no there's one step that I'm doing I do want to put a little bit of water just a little bit of water if you wanted to put a seafood stock or a chicken broth in there absolutely you can't and you can see right here where I have just a tiny bit guys it's just a tiny bit of water on the pan that's going to be able to create steam all right it's not to cook it it's just going to create some steam that we want to happen in the oven okay watch this all right going in the oven when it comes out I'll let you know exactly how long this took I'll be back okay everybody he's cooked for 45 minutes in the oven we have shrimp foil boil very quick and simple let's look how amazing let's open these up and see just how amazing they are can you all see you all see that do you see what I see Oh girlfriend do you see what I see look at the juice look at the juice and the butter oh my goodness this right here some good lovin you all never had good love them before hey right here's where you gonna find it baby whoa look at them bad boys mmm girl you oh my goodness you are something else oh look at this one and what I like these right here these can be used as handles oh look at that look at it beautiful we're gonna tear these bad boys up you hear me oh we gonna tear these bad boys up mmm ant what I want to do is I'm gonna test the potatoes right for you all so you can see they should be nice and tender with my fork look oh it goes right through like butter like butter baby watch how I can cut this right from the side of the oh let's go ahead and oh oh but I gotta say my prayer off-key way to dig right Ian let's say our prayer first Lord Jesus we thank you for today we thank you Lord for your love time your mercy in your understanding please
