hi everybody everybody I'm back and today today Gina young is gonna show you all how to make a steak and potato foil boil here's what you'll need to make this Gina young style okay so I have some steak here any type of steak that you like to use you absolutely can use the type of steak that I have today I have an Angus top loin boneless steak right and you will need a onion as well as red potatoes make sure that you washed your red potatoes off you will need bell peppers if you're not a fan of bell peppers you don't need to use them okay you don't have to use them and you all that know me you know that I love says um we're gonna rub some says on on this bad boy you hear me absolutely we are so you're gonna need some ranch dip this ranch dip is going to be used for my potatoes you will need some olive oil as well as 2 tablespoons of butter the seasonings that I'm going to use today is gonna be at everyday seasoning that's what it's called let me show you we're gonna use some garlic powder as well as Maggie beef Boyan flavor okay and over here I have parsley now the first thing that I want to do yes let's go ahead and we want to chop up these beautiful potatoes and let's get them into a pot of water a pot of boiling water I want to boil these potatoes for seven to eight minutes so that I can give them a head start on the cooking process because I feel like when you put potatoes in the oven they take a nice amount of time and for the time that it would take for my potatoes to get done and I would be happy and satisfied with the texture the steak would already be done do you see what I'm saying so basically what I'm saying is give the potatoes a head start and that way when your steak is done you know your potatoes are gonna be done if you don't do it that way there's a chance that when your steak is done your potatoes need to cook a little longer and everything is going to go into a foil package together so I find this the best way to do it is start your potatoes off this way you want to slice them just like so okay and just throw them right in just a good seven to eight minutes just give them a head start all right we're gonna do each one this way I haven't had time to message everybody back yet but thank you once again for the happy birthday wishes okay we're going to continue to cut these this way in this manner okay and we're just gonna do one foil packet okay there we go just like this give these a head start and then I want to go in I've already salted my water for the potatoes as well okay let's go ahead and start chopping up our beautiful vegetables just like so and here's the thing you can slice them you can dice um do what you like to do with your vegetables all right go in and give them a nice rough chop nothing special nothing too fine see that there that's perfect all right then we're going to cut up our bell peppers set these aside I'm not gonna put too many bell peppers in this okay if you're that person that says hey I really don't like bell peppers don't use them and honestly it's that simple okay me personally I love the color of the bell peppers they taste good and then make an and they make everything nice and vibrant and not to mention the health benefits okay just like this it's a rough chop now when you cook in the oven you're gonna cook this on three hundred and eighty-five degrees okay that right there let me grab a bowl put my ingredients in this bowl here and then I'm going to show you how I like to cut my cake my my cake my state as far as the fat when it comes to steak I like to leave that fat on there because that fat will render down and it just makes extra juiciness if that makes any sense absolutely it does cut this bad boy just like this you can keep it in strips you can chop it into small pieces medium whatever you want to do it's up to your discretion let me show you how I like to do mines I had such a great birthday yesterday absolutely I did such a blessed birthday all right we're gonna do this this is gonna be one nice tender would is is gonna be tender you know what I might make two foil packs but I might just do one we'll just see okay just like this nice cubes just like that mm-hmm let's come down onto the pitcher a little bit more there we go now we're talking mmm my mouth is watering and we haven't even started cooking yet my goodness I'm ready for the steak absolutely I am here's what I would like to do let's go ahead and get your steak nice and seasoned so I'm going to take my ring golf this is a little bit of olive oil all right and I want to rub the olive oil all throughout this beautiful steak I find when you rub your meats with the oil it helps to keep them nice and juicy okay and then it helps for them to form a beautiful crust on the outside as well and also it will help for your spices to a hear to the steak all right just like this beautiful all right now we're gonna go in with our spices let me wash my hands really quickly any time any time you're messing with raw meat you want to wash your hands the reason why is because you don't want to transfer you don't want to transfer bacteria to your spices or anything else okay so always wash your hands and didn't take long we're gonna go in and season our meat garlic powder get you some one there it gives it a lot of flavor absolutely every day seasoning I like to use this this was absolutely awesome it kind of reminds you of the steak seasoning big nice chunks of spices nice and beautiful and then also we're gonna go in with some sad zone says on is my favorite it gives it a beautiful color and a great taste as well oh yeah now we're talking I'm starting to get excited in here I get myself excited look at this then we're gonna go in with the beef Boyan lots of flavor in this beef boy yeah you don't need a lot it does have salt content in it so be very careful if you're unsure how much to use always start off with a little bit alright we're gonna put some parsley flakes in cuz parsley is gonna make it nice and beautiful alright just like this and then once again we're going to go in with our hands make sure that your hands are impeccably clean and you want for your meat to rest we want to let this meat rest for around about 12 minutes before this goes in the oven if you haven't preheated your oven just yet go ahead and do so 385 degrees we're gonna let this sit for 12 minutes all right don't take don't take your meat and right out of that refrigerator and put it in that oven because if you do that you're gonna have tough meat all right and we want for our meat to be nice and tender we don't want it to go into shock when we throw it in the oven all right so we'll split this aside I'm gonna wash my hands and then I'm gonna come back and show you what you're gonna do next okay everybody we're gonna take our potatoes out they cook for seven to ten minutes turn them off get them drained and then we're gonna Pat them dry with the paper towel because we want for our spices to a hear to these potatoes be right back okay everybody our potatoes have came out we have Pat dry our potatoes so that they're not watery these potatoes are not cooked but they're halfway cooked and that's the key that's the key to successful potatoes for this dish that's the way I like to do it all right now watch this gonna go in and these potatoes are kind of there they're hot so I'm not gonna rub them but I am gonna drizzle this olive oil all over my potatoes and that's gonna help for my seasoning too I hear to these beautiful potatoes I'm just gonna go in in this manner get them nice and well coated okay nothing hard about any recipe that I ever make everything that I may you all can do the exact same thing it's gonna turn out the exact way it's gonna taste the same way as long as you follow the recipe absolutely anything that I can do you all can do the same thing you hear me absolutely so then make sure that your oven is preheated 385 degrees if you haven't done so this is our seasoning this is the magic this right here is the magic powder for our potatoes full way and you're talking about some goodies that's right here you can even put this on your meat if you want it too okay if you want it too all right it's good it tastes good you all that no mean that are familiar with me and my channel you know that I love I love love love to use ranch powder anytime I can and I will and I do alright and so then we are just going to mix up our veggies right in with these potatoes I'm going to show you how to make a little nice little envelope for our steak and potato baked steak and potato boil all right I want to put a little bit more parsley in there even though we have some green from the ranch powder I still I still want to put a little bit more green in there because I love parsley just like that throw your veggies in if you don't want veggies hey you can just do potatoes and steak you can't do the potatoes steak and mushrooms you could put tomatoes in here oh yeah possibilities are endless when you're making these packets hey listen here you can do this with turkey you can do this with chicken yes you can you can do this with shrimp and you will be in heaven my mouth is already watering we haven't even got started okay so my veggies are done and I've used just about the whole pack just about I'm going to save the rest all right save the rest for a later date now we want to get our aluminum foil out I'm going to show you how to make this very simple packet and then we're going to put our meat with this and when they marry together and they get in that oven and get to talking to each other we you talk about some good food my goodness oh you asked for you all ask for let me show you just how simple this can be all right just how simple now what I want to do I'm gonna use [Music] okay I don't want it to tear on me which you know what one piece is good enough but I just want to use two just to be safe okay watch this little tiny bit of oil guys all you need is a little tiny bit I'm gonna tell you a little bit just a little bit don't be crazy with it all right I'm gonna just rub Oh straighten back up there we're gonna just do this so that our veggies don't stick to the foil okay and so that our meat doesn't stick and that should be good enough beautiful you go girl all right let's bring our meat into the equation and don't forget your two tablespoons of butter that you'll need look how nicely marinated this meat it is this meat beautiful or what absolutely it is and I tell you one thing if it looks that good you better believe it's gonna be good I hope I'll make a mouse water all over the world right now all right watch this check me out guys this is exciting mmm I want to show you all something here in a second I'm gonna show you all something my goodness I'm gonna show you all how to make one of the packets but I have leftover ingredients that I'm going to do other packets off-camera okay so that's what I'm gonna do with my leftovers I know a lot of you say but Gina you got some leftover what are you gonna do what are you gonna do with the rest I'm gonna use it and I have other steaks that I'm gonna foil up and do as well off-camera all right beautiful look at this you hear me my goodness alright put it right there in the middle and then in with our steak you want some steak right there and you want some steak right here don't hurt yourself don't hurt a machine it look at that alright look at this I'm gonna take some butter put it right there right there right there there there and there all right let me put this into my sink me rinse my hands off really quickly I'm going to show you how to make this very quick and simple foil packet you can use a cookie sheet alright or baking dish any kind of baking dish or cookie sheet actually you can okay watch this just go is okay can you all see that let's make sure you all can see down in here and exactly what I'm doing let's make sure that I have a good picture all right just like this a little close that bad way up nice and tight okay and then we're going to come on this in nice and tight all right same thing same thing for this in if you have to bring it this way and do that it's okay just make it tight all right this right here just like a hot potato it's nice and packed tight see even if I turn it upside down nothing's gonna fall out cuz I got this bad boy nice and snug in here all right now let me show you what I'm gonna do I have just a little tiny baking dish all right you don't need to put anything in here you'll need to put water you don't need to put oil nothing goes you don't have a clean thing in there this is nice and snug nice and snug on the sides right there in the middle in the oven we go and when I open this bad boy out oh my goodness 385 degrees it's going in the oven when it's done I'll let you know exactly how long it took to cook I don't let y'all know what it tastes like be back okay everybody 385 degrees forty minutes perfectly done let's open this up I cannot wait to open this up so that you all can see what this looks like down inside I cannot wait to taste it and we're just gonna leave it in this packet literally like you can leave it in this pick this pack it up okay just like this set it right onto your plate that you're going to look and it's not really messy just a little bit easy cleanup watch this now remember when I do mines I like to use two pieces of for you okay let's see what this bad boy looks like and you just open up and be careful when you're opening this or if you're feeding it to younger kids or you know older adults to tell them to be careful for the steam because there is some steam here that'll give you a crescent roll or whatever type of roller you like and just stop up all that goodness all that's goodness and flavor down in there you hear me you better believe it is who we let's dig in I'm gonna eat this fat piece right there Oh oh my goodness mmm kind of hard to hold this plate because it's getting hot look at that mmm give that a try guys give this a try mouth-watering super 10 tender and very
