fight boom okay hand to hand to 65 that's a lie our hand to hand is currently 387. one or two more than it should be and umbra's already down we bunched him like three times see this is what people are talking about when they say hand to hands busted I over tuned this actually okay well what's my name jump well what an incredible question because every Morrowind player knows that 95 of a build's power comes from the name and I I don't make the rules people I'm just here to report the facts and the fact is the build hinges on this dialog box right here so we're doing a hand-to-hand build and that might lead you to believe that we're gonna go with something you know like a box or a story fighter or Tyson Ali McGregor no no no no no because I'm not here to Simply show you a normal boring hand-to-hand deal what I'm here to show you is something that I think is a lot more exciting and honestly a lot more enjoyable and that is going to be a monk style take on a hand-to-hand build so since I am a five-year-old and I think of the word monk I think of the smash hit from the early 2000s Shaolin Soccer you obviously know we have to pick something with a little bit of a martial arts Flair and if you saw the play tests well then you know there's only one choice here and that is Chennai uh that's right Shania The Shaolin monk the hyphens and the capitalized a in the middle of the word that really make it high fantasy you know make it applicable now before we get into our race selection you obviously have to talk about some things that make the hand-to-hand skill so very unique here in Morrowind now first off what I would like to mention is that of course if you've ever tried a hand-to-hand build before or just attempted to you know punch someone down in a bar room brawl down to the South Wall Corner clubs you know you got all them bad people down there well then you know that when you start a fight with hand to hand you first have to eliminate an enemy's entire fatigue pull before you stagger them to the ground and actually start doing Health damage that's right whenever you're using a hand-to-hand build every enemy essentially has two health bars unless you use a couple work rounds that we'll talk about here in just a second but that is something that is going to be integral to know when we are approaching this build and you're just approaching this play style in general because it is one that while I certainly think everyone should experiment with it may not be to your exact taste fighting everybody with a double health bar pretty intimidating pretty difficult you definitely have to use a hundred percent of the gray matter in our you know little old skull here but hand to hand is not all bad in fact it's incredibly entertaining and Incredibly rewarding to get right because another perk of having hand to hand is that your fists actually function as special weapons so you don't have to worry when you come across a ghost or any other special enemies that have that requirement in order to deal damage because you your fists can punch through the very fabric of reality beat down a ghost then take all their fatigue which how does something without a cardiovascular system have fatigue I don't really know but that's just how it works again I'm not here to debate the facts I'm just here to report them okay but that let's finish up here with these two final points before we dive into picking our race and building out our character now the first of these final points is that hand to hand is a bit unique in the way that damage is calculated you see most weapon skills in marwin simply take into account your skill with that weapon when calculating your chance to hit and not your damage in fact your attributes are the only thing that really matter when you are attacking with say an ax and that's why you can drink a million tsujama in one shot Vivek because it only cares what your strength is when it's calculating your damage in that formula hand to hand here is the exact opposite it actually doesn't care any about your attributes and only focuses on your hand-to-hand skill the only way to raise your damage is to raise your hand to hand skill and the only only way to maximize your damage with each attack is to fully pull back and release each swing when you're actually fighting with hand-to-hand you kind of want to break a fight up into two pieces the first piece is going to be the rapid spam phase when you're just trying to keep an enemy staggered and on the ground but once you actually have them there then you kind of want to focus on getting the max damage with each hit so you'll see me do this here in the second half of this video rapid spams to get him to the ground big swings when they're already there and that will again make our life a little bit easier because in the beginning especially hand-to-hand is quite difficult now the final thing I want to mention with hand-to-hand actually is looping back to an earlier point where I said when you use hand-to-hand every enemy essentially has two health bars with some exceptions and this is going to be the exception here if an enemy is paralyzed you get to ignore their fatigue bar and start doing immediate health damage so that plays into our monk build beautifully again because a monk is going to be a hybrid spellcaster that only deals damage with hand to hand so having paralysis spells available to us focusing on the illusion mysticism Etc is actually going to make our literal punching that much easier now with all those nitty-gritty details out of the way let's hop into our character creation here and there's probably about three choices that I would recommend for a monk style character now if you are at least interested in the spell casting you just want to punch people well then you're going to be looking at a Khajiit here because they have a perfect setup for that Nimble brawler style character first let's take a look here at the skill bonuses you can see the Khajiit get a 15 to acrobatics always love to see 15s again highest bonus that we can get from character creation plus five to Athletics plus five to hand to hand they're just gonna start us with a little bit higher damage although I will mention this now that hand-to-hand levels incredibly quick when compared to pretty much every other skill in the game when I was doing the play test streams for this build I got hand to hand completely maxed out using very little training maybe one or two levels here and there in just about four and a half hours of play time which for Morrowind that is insanely fast to go from base level to fully maxed out so the plus five here is obviously very nice to have but don't let your decision hinge on that number right there as your hand to hand is going to explode once you start actually using it to fight moving on from that we have a light armor 5 security of Five Short blade of five and a sneak of five so as you can see our Khajiit is set up very very nicely to be a more traditional boxer side of it there's no bonuses here for anything magical but they have all the right skill bonuses for the beat down Nimble quick fighter that people traditionally think of when they consider a hand-to-hand build now in addition to their skill bonuses khajiit's attributes also reflect an affinity for this style could you start with a 50 to agility they also have a speed of 40 make them nice light and quick and then they have an intelligence of 40 if you do want to do a little bit of spell casting won't be limited by that early game magical next let's take a look at their specials first they have the eye of night which is a night eye for 50 points just a nice little thing to have on your adventures and then they also have the eye of fear which is demoralized humanoid 100 points for 30 seconds on Target and this is actually going to be very very nice to have if you are a hand-to-hand fighter because one of the most important things to have when fighting hand-to-hand is crowd control where the build really falls apart especially in the early game is if you get swarmed by a group of enemies again everybody has two health bars so you're going to need a way to disengage people from combat syndrome running to the hills or freeze them in time with something like paralysis so you can focus on each opponent separately until your hand to hand is high enough that you can stagger someone leave them there on the ground focus on the next person stagger them and then kind of you know hop back and forth kiting this daggers between the opponents so demoralize humanoid very nice gonna send him running to the hills so all in all Khajiit phenomenal choice for that more traditional brawler style hand-to-hand build somebody that really doesn't want to cast that many spills just want to put fist to face and get them on the ground quick Khajiit fantastic choice but now moving on to our first recommendation for the monk style character again referencing back to Shania The Shaolin monk here well then let's talk about the female Argonian specifically you'll see the Argonian gets a plus five to Alchemy plus 15 to Athletics we also get a plus five to illusion love to see that Medium armor of five mysticism of five Spirit five and an unarmored of five now medium armor and spear are a bit of dead skills but the Boost to Athletics illusion and mysticism are really going to help this build and again let's take a look at their attributes the highlights of which for the female Argonian are going to be the 50 to intelligence so I'm massive Mana pool early on a willpower of 40 and an agility of 40 setting them up beautifully to be a quick Nimble hybrid Caster that is going to deal out a lot of pain and also cast a lot of spells let's also take a look at the Argonian specials we have a resist disease of 75 percent always a nice thing to have a resist poison of a hundred percent eliminating our worry about an entire element in the game I love this on the Argonian and then the wonderful Adventure enabler of water breathing for 120 seconds on self so argonians beautifully set up to be a hybrid Caster character much like I mentioned in my how to spell sword video now the final race I'll go through very very quickly here but I do want to mention this one as well as I think it's very very optimal especially if you're a more defensive player maybe you're a little newer on you need a little help well let's look at the Breton here because while all of these races are going to be quite squishy with the low endurance the Breton does come with some innate eight Buffs that are going to make your life a little bit easier so you can see on the skill bonuses Alchemy of 5 alteration of five conjuration of 10 illusion of five mysticism of tin and restoration of ten these are going to pair beautifully with the custom class that we will be creating and also wonderfully fits the theme of a monk these are all supportive spell schools not destructive spell schools perfectly flavorful of being a monk being one with the harmony of nature you know swirling some Lotus petals around as you kick someone in the face to defend your temple I love the Breton for this all right now let's take a look at their attributes where the Khajiit was all the way on just a brawler argonians in the middle a little bit of brawl a little bit of spell casting the Breton is all the spell casting with a little bit of brawling and you can see this with their intelligence of 50 willpower of 50 and the agility of 30. so you will need to remember to train some of your agility skills to boost that agility up but their specials and their spell casting ability are going to help you bridge that Gap so let's take a look here so we get the fortify maximum Magicka boost of 0.5 going to give us a 50 boost to our magical pool great for spell casting we also get a resist Magicka 50 which is going to be very very crucial as we're going to be unarmored and have very low endurance all of these races have an endurance of 30. so having this resist magic is going to be big it's going to make us not get one shot by spells and then additionally the shield here 50 points for 60 seconds gonna raise our armor rating which is going to be awesome since we will be going unarmored sticking to that monk theme so to sum it all up Khajiit if you mainly want a brawl don't want to do a whole bunch of spell casting Argonian if you want to be a nice 50 50 down the middle fighter and then if you want to go all the way in on the spell casting just deal your main damage with hand-to-hand the Breton is going to be the monk that you want now for the sake of the video I am going to go with the female Argonian here I'm just such a big fan of the hybrid play Styles I think marwin's magic system is just too much fun to ignore so the race selection out of the way let's move on and create our custom class to start creating our custom class we first want to select our specialization nope not as stealth although it does have acrobatics sneak hand to hand in there we're actually going to want to choose magic because as you can see magic has pretty much everything else that we want to use unarmored restoration mysticism conjuration illusion alteration Etc and again this is mainly because like I mentioned earlier hand to hand the primary skill that we'd be interested in getting that plus 5 boost to with the stealth specialization is incredibly easy to level so that plus five it's not really a deal breaker and you probably won't even notice you got it after that we're going to take our favorite attributes as first agility again boosting that chance to hit we're going to need to do it and then second as willpower if you're worried about dying early you don't like playing squishy characters you could take endurance here take the endurance from any of these races from 30 up to 40. but again when I'm approaching a monk style character a monk is not some big beefy tank amongst more focused on not getting hit staying evasive staying Nimble using illusion magic to maybe Shield themselves or you know put up a force field or something between them and their enemies deflecting hits so I'm not really worried about my endurance what I'm more interested in is blinding enemies using Sanctuary abilities to make us harder to hit doing all those things to increase our survivability just because it fits much more thematically with the play style I mean when's the last time you saw a monk in full armor you did it so forget endurance forget heavy armor we don't need a more we're going kid just buckle up put on some Sanctuary you'll be okay now following that thread for our first major skill we are going to take unarmored now an important thing to mention here about unarmored if you're not playing on open Morrowind or without out the Morrowind code patch so if you're completely vanilla Morrowind there is actually a bug that makes it so unless you're wearing a single piece of armor unarmored actually does nothing so if you're completely vanilla no code patch no open Morrowind make sure that if you're going unarmored you actually are wearing like a bracer or something at least because unarmored works just like any other armored skill simply for the fact that it increases your armor rating as it increases although nowhere near as much as any of the armor skills so even at max level you're going to be very squishy compared to someone who's wearing Daedric but again the monk is not focused on that we're not trying to be super tanky we're trying to be evasive Plucky and just a really fun annoying fighter second I am of course taking hand to hand this is going to give us that nice plus tin boost gonna make us deal a little bit more damage in the early game and again since it levels up incredibly quickly this is going to make those first few levels fly by and pretty much every level we're going to be getting a speed boost of X5 so you're going to be really really quick just by using your hand to hand even if you took a Breton that has 30 speed at the start after that I'll be taking Athletics to pair with our nice 15 bonus we got from being an Argonian I'll also be taking restoration which is going to be incredibly important to this build again we're going to be super super squishy even in the late game so being able to heal ourselves is going to be incredibly important after restoration I'll be taking illusion having paralysis effects is going to allow us to skip the entire fatigue damaging portion of a fight and go right to doing Health damage as I mentioned we're trying to be that monk trying to surround ourselves in Lotus pedals and not get hit we need spells like sanctuary and blinding our enemies another very Monkish thing to do kind of like a pacifist way to make them worse at fighting now moving on to the minor skills as I say in every how-to video make this character your own minor skills of Morrowind are very flexible these are simply my recommendations but there is no one right or wrong way to play a particular archetype but with that being said first is going to be sneak Critical Hits still work even when using your fists and again we're not dealing a ton of damage so all the damage that we can do we need to do it as fast as possible snake is also great especially in the early game because it could allow us to get around groups of enemies that we aren't quite ready to fight so very very good to have and thematic on our monk after sneak we're gonna go with acrobatics after acrobatics I'll be taking mysticism another very very Monkish School of magic absorbing energies from the world around you or using things like telekinesis teleporting around super Monkish gotta have it after mysticism I'll be taking alteration another very very thematic fit things like you know open like putting your palm on a door and flipping it open like some old kung fu movie I mean you gotta have that and then of course levitation for the Flying Dragon kicks I mean it's got everything gonna have alteration and we'll polish off the build here with enchant and we want to chant because as we get into the late game keeping in mind that our damage is only scaling off of our hand-to-hand skill we need to get that puppy above 100 and the easiest way to do that is of course going to be making some awesome Enchanted items jack up our hand to hand and start throwing some meteor punches and fire kicks and all that fun stuff so there you have it everybody we got the monk there's our skills out of the way let's go ahead and pick a birth sign now with our custom class out of the way there really is only one standout Choice here and that is going to be the lover and it will become very apparent why once we take a look down here at the abilities and the power so the ability mooncalf is just going to be a flat 25 Point boost to our agility this is going to give us an incredibly High agility and as I mentioned before having agility is imperative because we want to land every single hit that we can but an almost even better fit for the build is our power which is the Lover's kiss which is a paralyzed for 60 seconds on Target in a damage fatigue 200 points for one second on self now what the blubber's kiss is going to allow us to do is have a way to completely push somebody out of a fight at level one the hardest part of fighting with hand-to-hand is dealing with a crowd because everybody has two health bars unless they're paralyzed using the Lover's kiss is a great way to just knock somebody out of the fight completely you have an entire minute to deal with person a while person B is stuck in time wondering what the hell went wrong so the lover absolutely perfect for the Monk class and really just every single hand-to-hand fighter Lover's kiss cannot be ignored at level one so here you have it everybody Shania The Shaolin monk Argonian born under the sign of the lover with an intelligence of 50 willpower of 50 and an agility of 75 to start off so wonderfully positioned to be an absolute nuisance with our fists and let's get into it now as always let's start here taking the old limeware platter we are going to need a lot of gold to start this playthrough and you'll see why as we get underway but we will be using a bit of an underhanded strategy you could say in order to get that gold uh but we do need a number of items and spells to get this build off and running all right sorry sukutious I know this isn't very pacifist or monk-like of me but you know we gotta do it we gotta make our way here in the world and uh oh Flynn don't sakusius hey a fortify attribute strike 20 points for 60 seconds on self takushas he's got some strong stuff right there that's some serious booze man can you imagine if freaking alcohol actually did that to you buffed your strength by literally 20 God every Power lifter would just be absolutely smacked on the podium maybe then I'd watch powerlifting competitions that'd actually be hysterical what if that's actually not booze that's literally he's literally just has PCP in a freaking bottle just oh yeah don't ignore that ignore that it's like that Whitest Kids You Know sketch from back in the day sakoshi's is a wild man there's gotta be some more lore there we just don't understand all right once you've extracted all the gold that you possibly can from everybody's favorite early game high elf well you're going to want to make your way up the coast and prepare for a little fun in the dungeon because we obviously playing a hybrid Caster character have to begin this build with everybody's favorite ring sticking it in their back pocket actually not sticking in their back pocket actually wearing it on their finger I don't think you get the constant effect if it's in your inventory no we want to leave this dungeon with a ring on our finger and our intelligence boosted so let's go ahead make our way up the coast over to samaris ancestral tomb an important thing to note here is that this is going to be a little tough it's gonna be a little tedious and you're thinking hey this is samara's ancestral tomb how bad could it be you've never played a hand-to-hand build before because like I said you can build as optimally as you possibly can and the first levels are still going to be rough so here we are I'll show you what we mean and we'll talk about some ways to make it as easy as possible all right so here we go I just rested got all my fatigue back and we are going to want every bit we can because every hit matters when you're starting off a hand-to-hand build so we do have a greater bone Walker here let's uh Dodge some of the Spells come on buddy get over here get over here let's smack you all right well he's not playing nice so I'll come in closer now you will notice that even though I am hitting him we're not actually doing any damage and that's because like I mentioned earlier we do have two health bars to get through his fatigue bar and then his health part so right now all we want to do is try and survive and land as many hits as we can until we can stagger him and put him on the ground all right there we go hand-to-hand skill already to Third two on our first enemy again this levels up very fast so at least that's a Servo lining and just a couple dungeons you'll probably have this already up at like 50 60. you'll have nothing to worry about you just got to get through these first levels that's all I was later okay there we go now we're dealing Health damage and now you see where hand to hand shines because once you actually have them at zero fatigue it's incredibly easy to just keep them stun locked like this even the strongest enemies in the game will even be able to get a hit in on you once you have their fatigue down at zero so there we are let's keep using our light attacks to stagger him and then like I mentioned let's swing for heavier damage with the full pullback once they're on the ground hand to hand to 35 on the first enemy I told you this thing just levels like crazy okay just a couple more hits here come on come on one two three okay there we go bone Walker number one complete every victory in an early hand to hand is worth celebrating let me tell you that much but let's walk back and uh let's actually rest and get all of our health and Magicka oh okay we got ambushed hold on let's grab a hearth heal well you you saw how that first fight went right having to get through the two health bars the fatigue and then the actual Health well now let's talk about why we chose the lovers kiss as such a high priority and that's because paralyze is overpowered when you are using hand-to-hand so let's put it on now boom there we go stunned and this is why it's crazy we're immediately doing Health damage so paralyze here cannot be underrated when you're doing a hand-to-hand build it allows you to skip that entire first portion of the fight and I'm actually glad this guy attacked me because we need this money that we're gonna get from his armor so this is great this actually saves us some time later in the video oh he got unparalyzed oh I was so close no all right now we got him on the ground let's do a couple hits here yes okay there we go your Journal has been updated opening the door to tribunal and opening the door to immediate wealth so now let's loot the Assassin be sure to take all if this doesn't happen to you now be sure to do this a little later on in the video and I'll I'll mention when but let's go back and rest hopefully we don't get attacked twice here basically in the early game we do not want to be caught without parthiel it's just too important until we get into guilds and actually grab all of our potions and whatnot alright now there is a ghost here for the sake of the video I'm not gonna fight him let's Dodge him here run up to the urn hopefully live and grab the mentor's ring value 8 000 with a constant effect fortify attribute intelligence 10 points and fortify attribute willpower 10 points which will pair wonderfully with that spell casting tint we will have from being a monk so let's go ahead I've had just about enough fun in Samaras Let's ignore the ghosty here or I guess you could sit there keep grinding your hand to hand level which whichever makes you happy but for the sake of brevity I'm gonna go ahead and head on back to say Deneen and we'll take the Strider over to balmora all right now that we are in balmora let's go ahead and join both the Mages Guild and the Fighters Guild and loot everything in those Guild chests because like I said again You're going to be very very squishy early in this build you're going to need all the support that you can get from these guilds and yeah sure Mages oath well totally I know exactly what you're talking about but really what I want is your standard restore magic is here your photo verify will powers and your Scrolls of divine and Elm CV intervention and cure common disease doesn't hurt even though we have a 75 percent resistance but like I said and like you saw in that previous fight some of these fights are gonna drag out pretty long in the early game so you need all the healing that you can get and although the female algonian is set up to be a great spellcaster you just don't want to chance being caught without Magicka after you've already battled an enemy down through their entire fatigue bar have them on like 5 HP and then you get one shot by something you didn't even see don't even play around with that come over here and go ahead and grab yourself all these potions because I'm sure you will use them at the beginning of this playthrough until you have stabilized now once we have a nice wide array of starter potions you know rolling around like some mad chemist let's go ahead and head on over to Caldera and actually get rid of that dark brotherhood gear that we found if you aren't lucky enough to be attacked by them when you're in samara's ancestral tomb you can just sit over here in the Mages Guild sleep in the bed now now that you remember and just keep retrying essentially until you get one to spawn but you will need a little bit of gold reserves in order to get through the next couple steps in the build so let's go ahead head over to Caldera and now once we are in Caldera let's make our way over to everybody's favorite Scamp the creeper I really have such a love for this guy I'm so glad that they included the Beast merchants in Morrowind it's just such a wonderful flavor I mean look at him how can you not love him how did you even end up here we get nothing hello Caldera I'm here all week did he just drunkenly stumble in here there's a lot of lore behind the creeper that I feel like the community needs and just doesn't have but let's go ahead drop off everything we got from the Dark Brotherhood assassin and you'll see a cool 3157 gold that will come in very handy here in just a second so thank you very much creeper or should I say barbus that everybody really knows from Daggerfall in Skyrim why he chose to appear as a Scamp in this one I don't really know but hey I like the flavor at least but once you're done wheeling and dealing with the creeper well you're gonna continue your Mercantile Mania and head over to varric Jermaine the traitor as Jermaine has a couple items that are going to help stabilize us so let's go over here click barter and we are going to want to pick up the Ring of aversion just so that we can have a repeatable invisibility spell be able to drop aggro get ourselves out of trouble because we will get into trouble with this build now what we're really interested in is the ring of the iron hand which is cast when used damage fatigue 21 to 42 points for one second on touch and remember that we need to destroy an enemy's fatigue before we can actually start hurting them with our fists so having items like ring of the iron hand or using spells that are damaged fatigue are going to make it that much faster for us to actually start doing real damage to them so we do want to load up with spells like absorb fatigue damage fatigue taking opponents fatigue pull down to zero and then come in with our fists and you you know pummeled him to death for lack of a better term the Ring of iron hand is a great cheap way to get this effect so let's go ahead and add that on and then before we leave we are also going to want to grab veloth's robe restore Health 10 points for one second on self healing is very important and we're probably going to want to be using our magical pool for other things like I mentioned absorb fatigue damage fatigue let's go ahead and grab this item and another thing that's going to be very helpful emulative recall just to get us out of tight spots very helpful item to have and there you go let's take a look down here total cost for all of these wonderful effects only 375 gold God I know where you lost your hair varic it's because you have no profit margins these are a lot of very very helpful items and will definitely make this build begin to pop off alright so here we are now looking pretty good in our Saran wrap clothes I mean come on how can you not love that nice shiny effect from Morrowind but the fun isn't done in Caldera because we're actually gonna stop and talk to Medela in Darren and from her we are going to buy bound gauntlets which is going to give us bound gloves for 60 seconds on self and the wonderful thing about bound gauntlets is that bound gauntlets is going to increase our agility by 10 points and fortify our hand to hand by 10 points so let's go ahead and take a look here we don't have any points in conjuration so it is going to be pretty difficult to cast so let's get the spell on here all right there we go and you can see now we have an agility of 85 and our hand to hand is fortified 248 and you'll probably want to get this on an enchanted item just so you don't have to level your conjuration as well as your other schools of magic but hey if you want to go more in the conjuration Direction feel free but now with the bound gauntlets in our spell book Let's head over to balmora and keep our eyes on the literature because I know I said the word Spellbook but we're actually about to go pick up some other books and chart our course towards an item that is going to really blow this build out of the water and to do that we need to grab some literature before we head out of town so let's visit dorisa darvell the Bookseller here barter and from her we are going to want to grab the chronicles of nunchalift as well as nichinoch's fire and Faith all together then I'll cost around 360 gold and again this is why we needed that money early on we do need to buy these books as well as one more so once we've gotten that out of the way let's actually head back over to the Mages Guild we're going to be doing a lot of globetrotting here to set this build up you're gonna have a full Morrowind passport by the time you're done with this video but I promise all of this will be worth it so next Let's Travel to sandrath Mora now once we are in sadriyathmora let's go ahead go downstairs to the Imperial Shrine before we make our way out into the city to speak to anius atrious and then grab the spell absorb fatigue and this is going to be very important like I mentioned for enabling us to actually start dealing damage with our fists now you can also grab absorb healthier here do a little healing but my take on this build is that I only want to do damage with my fist that's the whole point of being hand to hand right but if you're not like me you don't like challenge runs so to speak or challenge Built Well then go ahead and take absorb health is it will be very very effective and very helpful all right now that we're out of Wolverine Hall across the bridge making our way to the heart of this city over here what we are going to want to do is just continue down the road until we find the tel Bonnie council chambers as we will begin groveling at the feet of our fellow Mages in order to gain a couple of the items that's associated with their questline you see when it comes to magic items that tell Vonnie it's almost there's just too much cool [ __ ] that they have you know just too much cool stuff but here we are the tilvani counts muscle Chambers at this globe looking thing let's go on in pop through the first door right in front of you and then you can talk to any of the mouths here I will talk to Raven omane and simply ask them about advancement and joining house tell Vani are you certain remember once you join you cannot I don't care screw the rules nobody needs rules all right now that we have sufficiently groveled to the mouths of house stelvani well we've opened the door to the quest related to the books that we actually just bought in balmora but before we go and grab that Quest now that we are in house talvani we actually want to go and travel to one more location so let's head over to the boat and then once we are on let's speak to gal zarithi and travel to tell Mora now once we are Intel morat let's head straight to the back of the town over here and grab another Enchanted item that is going to help this build out a lot again trying to limit the early game pain here but we're gonna walk into rodrast the Smith once we're inside let's speak to Rogers click barter and type in Fist and if you've played Morrowind a long time well then you know this is coming one of the more mature design choices by the Elder Scrolls team the left Gauntlet of the horny Fist and the right glove of the horny fist both with a fortify hand-to-hand skill seven and nine points respectively again wonderful naming convention they totally weren't trying to do anything their horny is like spiky right you know it's supposed to hurt yeah Todd okay yeah we believe you buddy but the low-hanging fruit there of the Bethesda devs is not going to stop us from picking them up because there are not that many items in the game that fortify your hand-to-hand skill and in fact the only spell that can even fortify our hand-to-hand skill only exists in tribunal and blood moon so we are going to take every chance that we can to get a guaranteed buff again talking about bound gauntlets and now using those horny fist gloves as well but that's all we came to tell so now let's talk to tonus talvani and we need to head back to sadre Mora and then you can either walk back to the Mages Guild or use a divine intervention which is what I'm gonna do Divine back to the Wolverine Hall Shrine we are going to walk upstairs and now we are going to head to vivec now that we're in Vivek we are going to grab the final piece of literature again referencing that Quest that we opened up by joining house talvani we can actually just collect all the books early again just saving ourselves traveling an extra time back and forth between some of these cities but all we need to do is head down to the lower quarter of vivec and then once we are down here we just need to make our way over to jobasha's rare books and we are looking for the final book that will allow us to complete that telvani Quest and get us that amazing item so Joe Basha open up the library and I am looking for antecedents of dwimmer law only one though trying to Swindle me with two I won't fall for your kajidi tricks I've played too many khajiits I know what you're up to we'll grab antecedents of Dwemer law for the low low price of 31 gold and now our scavenger hunt has completed now that we've collected our Trio our Trilogy of dwimmer tomes well now we can head out back to the silt Strider in front of Vivek not the Mages Guild actually but once we are at the silt Strider we need to talk to our good friend here and then travel over to balmora from balmora we need to travel to aldrun and from aldrun we finally need to travel to nissus and once we are in nissus we need to head to arvs drellin one of the few telvani settlements to be located within an actual Town not sure why that is but I'm sure if you ask the owner it would probably be because he was here before nissus just like he was here before the Imperials and why he is refusing to pay them taxes a man after my own heart I must say but here we are arvs drellin just passed the temple again right in the heart of town let's dive in and a quick note here there will be a couple enemies even though this is someone's actual house uh and that is just because our good friend here is a bit of a recluse choosing to opt out of the telvani powered politics and instead choosing to research dwmers and you know grow his friendly rats here all right now we're talking there we go we're punching the rat yes that Circle it's the power of the bound gauntlets it was too much for the rat friendly reminder don't forget to put those on they will help you but after we've cleared the rat we just need to come over to the left and down this way uh you can go over there there are a couple more enemies and some random loot but we actually don't need to explore all of our Australian we simply need to talk to the owner and turn in those books that we've been collecting this entire video to get the item that will blow this freaking thing up so here we are lock level 50 trap let's get on our veloth's robe to see if we need to heal through this uh we do pop that and it was a very tiny trap it was the weakest trap ever so much for pumping up to tell vonnie's earlier in the video eh uh but let's pop this open and you will see a day drawth right here but don't worry he is actually tame yeah he's good he's just here chilling with the owner guarding him and the owner actually has a dwimmer centurion as well so so maybe the tell Bonnie do know a couple of things after all see here you go the shock Centurion himself uh chilling up in the ball he'll get up and move around oh there he is just remember don't attack them uh it will make your life a lot harder than it needs to be but here we have bilatus dim navani and this is the voracious reader that we have been prepping to meet so let's click on chores and he will say I have three simple chores for you bring me copies of the Dwemer books the Chinook's fire and Faith antecedents of Dormer lawn Chronicles of nuncoleft all of which of course we already have so now we just need to click on each one and Ladies and Gentlemen let's turn in the final book here and there you go we get a laundry list of items you can see we get the Amulet of admonition the second barrier belt and sure feat all of which have been added to our inventory now why have we been setting up this whole video just to get here well it is because two of those items fit perfectly with this and will set us up for Success actually making this a viable build getting this item is when my play testing actually exploded and the build really cemented itself for me here so ladies and gentlemen that item is the Amulet of admonition value 1000 cast when used paralyzed for 30 seconds on target Frost damage one to two points for 30 seconds on target so just like how we mentioned the Lover's kiss is so important because it's one paralyzed while the Amulet of admonition for each full set of charge that we get we how have five paralyzes so now with the amulet we could blast this across a room full of people isolate our targets save ourselves and actually give us the time we need to fight with hand to hand because unless you have your hand to hand maxed out or 200 or 300 these fights are gonna take a little bit of time and you're going to need that paralysis to cut through that initial fatigue bar and on top of paralysis just synergizing so well with the hand-to-hand build you even get that tick damage one to two points of frost for 30 seconds so all around an incredible item that is really really going to simplify this playthrough now the Amulet of admonition is great but let's not get hung up there because we also got some other awesome items from baladas in this Quest so let's open these up the first of which is unducees key so a repeatable open 50 points on touch no more having to get your own hinging Scrolls and you don't even have to worry about having an open spell and worrying about managing your Magicka we also get the second barrier belt which is Shield 10 points for 30 seconds and finally we have sure feet which is just a constant effect fortify skill acrobatics for six points nothing crazy but always nice to have constant effects especially really early in the game even though our Beast race Argonian can't really wear it but hey all great items that are going to help make your adventure just that little bit easier so ladies and gentlemen there you have it that is our hand-to-hand build now you have everything you need to get set up for incredible success with hand-to-hand you have repeatable paralyzes you have a 60 second paralyze on top of that so now you don't even have to worry about fatigue bars at this point just keep your Enchanted items charged keep resting after every dungeon get your power back guess what now you only have to worry about one health bar when you're fighting enemies as long as you stay on top of it additionally we have spells and Enchanted items that are going to boost our hand to hand which directly increases our damage output we have an early way to damage an opponent's fatigue and we have all the schools of magic that we need to keep our health topped up or fatigue topped up and our enemies staggered on the ground repeatedly unable to hit us but before we finish up this video here we gotta end in classic coffee nut fashion and that's with a little bit of a showcase and for that I'm gonna need to switch over to another character and we'll show you just how powerful having a couple Enchanted items that fortify your hand-to-hand skill can be because what you saw here baby this is just the beginning this is just the beginning so I did a little bit of enchanting off camera and maybe a little bit of alchemy 2 created a few potions drank a few potions got my intelligence into the millions you know how things go in Morrowind if you don't just just go check out my held Alchemy video I'm sure it'll clear things right up well coming out of that little enchantment session we have Chuck Norris's beard God's finger God's other finger and jean-claude's chest here all of which are fortified hand-to-hand seven to ninety points for 30 seconds on self and let me show you just how crazy things get uh when you do fortify your enchantment skill a little bit above where it should be so here we are in the clutches of the demon Warrior Umbra the ultimate litmus test of A Warrior's prowess in Morrowind and let's put on these little effects which aren't really too crazy we're not using any Daedric Tower Shields we just use some golden Saint Souls nothing too insane or unattainable let's throw them on and let's see what happens all right Chuck Norris's beard go God's finger go God's other finger go shot glass just here go fight boom okay hand to hand to 65. that's a lie our hand to hand is currently 387. one or two more than it should be and umbra's already down we busted like three times see this is what people are talking about when they say hand to hand bust it that wasn't even a fight I over tuned this actually okay well ladies
