How do i know if it was a calling dream?

next and i think we're live we're i mean it's one minute before noon here so you're going to see this at noon but that's usually when it starts about a minute before so i think we are going how is everybody doing hope you're having a good day it's been a fun one here just kind of getting some stuff together had a nice staff meeting and now ready to do a little conversation on calling dreams and understanding calling dreams how to recognize if you've had a calling dream we we actually we asked a few weeks ago if anybody had questions that they would want us to talk about in a live and that was one of the questions how do i recognize if i had a calling dream uh understanding calling dreams now i'm gonna get into that in just a second but while we're getting started i want to encourage you just go ahead and pop on and let us know where you're coming from where are you guys watching from it's always encouraging to see people from all over the place coming together it looks like we started a little bit earlier than i thought because i see my head looking over here taking a drink of coffee and thinking that i still had 20 seconds so um that's fun i love how these videos start it's it would be great if we had like this countdown that says this is when we're live but that's the fun thing with lives when you set them up this way sometimes they start a little bit early and you get to see behind the scenes a little bit so that's that's kind of fun let's see we've got sweden we've got belize we've got washington state lauren asked me to enjoy my coffee that i shall thank you um we've got 10 a.m for jenny from washington state wow welcome it's well thankfully that's not too terribly early i feel sorry for our friends that are in hong kong they're 13-hour time difference so they rarely get to be on these and see them live though sometimes they'll they'll pop on let's see we've got baltimore we've had jamaica we've got namibia welcome namibia i've met some people from namibia when i've been in south africa but i've yet to actually go to namibia myself one of these days i will i actually got to meet uh a lady who is the head intercessor um if i've got this right i think it's the king is it the king of namibia i think it's the king of namibia um just a beautiful beautiful woman of god such a sweet spirit we've got pretoria south africa that's the alexandria um let's see the netherlands germany australia welcome boy it's uh what time is it in australia well it depends i guess on where you're at in australia it could be i mean you're probably about nine are you 9 a.m tomorrow morning i think somewhere somewhere around there you're it's it's early morning there sacramento nashville uh california welcome oklahoma city welcome that's not far fort wayne indiana um somebody else from the netherlands oklahoma finland new york city we've got texas at least we've got a few people from texas since we're in texas that's always good got richmond and woodlands cape town and south africa wonderful glad you guys could get on glad you could join us for this excited like i said to to talk a little bit about calling dreams and and we're going to interpret some dreams in a little bit um let's see um it's 19 it's 1902 in south africa so you're seven hours ahead of us that's that's not too bad that that's pretty reasonable that that's actually a good time so let's see seattle washington ontario welcome well let's let's just jump in and talk a little bit about calling dreams and and and get into that subject because we we had somebody that was asking you know how do i recognize if a dream is a calling dream how do i respond to calling dreams so wanted to to make sure that we we spent just a little bit of time and and helping you to recognize a dream that's similar to a calling dream but not a calling dream so that you see that difference so let's start out with the idea of a calling dream now calling dream understanding calling dream we talk about the 20 category of dreams which we we've got a book that's on that and a teaching where john paul teaches through those it's it's one of our kind of foundational teachings for understanding dreams from god and and one of those categories is a calling dream a calling dream is a dream that god gives us where he tells us what he wants to do with us and through us in the future so he's calling us to something that we get to do at another time it could be something in the business arena it could be an accomplishment it could be in the sports arena it could be in the entertainment arena it could be anything it could be in the spiritual arena as far as ministry related maybe he's calling us to be a prophetic intercessor maybe he's calling us to a time of fasting or maybe he's calling us to to start a business these are calling dreams now when god does this through a dream he's letting us know his will so that we can recognize his will so that we can believe that it's his will and so that we can prepare ourselves for his will and those those are very important we want to recognize when god is calling us to something because sometimes it's not what we think it's not what would come to our mind originally and so we want to align our thinking with what god is saying and when we recognize that he's called us to something then we get to change our way of thinking to line up with what he says we're going to do even if we think that we're not able to do it maybe it's something that's so beyond possibility that it's it is not something that would ever even come into our mind but we get to receive faith from his voice so that we do not deny the opportunity when it comes because most often callings from god are are opportunities that come to us and there are times when stuff is going to happen and nothing that we can do to stop it and there's nothing that we can do to start it god does do that sometimes but often he's looking to co-labor with us he gives us opportunities and we get to choose whether we step into those opportunities or we don't step into those opportunities we can say yes or we can say no and recognizing those and putting our faith on those and then looking for the opportunity is key now i will say one thing about this as a warning because often callings from god is not something that we're supposed to make happen in our own power i have seen i actually have a church that i love that that i still consider kind of part of my my home my foundation that has given up on the prophetic broadly not not completely but broadly has given up on the prophetic because people that were there got prophetic words and went off and tried to make them happen in their own power and they got beat up it didn't work and they came back very defeated not doing well and the pain that they went through in the effort of the pastoral staff in walking them through their disappointment it got blamed on the prophetic but it really wasn't the fault of the prophetic it was the fault of a wrong response to the prophetic now that's somebody giving somebody a prophetic word and i've seen that happen again and again and again people get this prophetic word and they go and try to make it happen and it usually doesn't work because we're not supposed to be doing it in our own power it's got to be something that god does through us but there is a place to position ourselves let's say that god gives you a calling dream that you're going to be um let's come up with a place you're going to be a missionary to the malay people in malaysia now if you're going to be a missionary in malaysia there's a couple things one you should know a little bit about the culture what's what's going on in the political arena what's allowed what's not allowed what what's normal what what what what are the people like what's normal in their culture what language do they speak do you know the language have you learned the language have you grown to have an appreciation for the people that are there in the culture and understanding that that preparation piece now that doesn't mean that that you you know that someday you're supposed to be there and so you just sell everything that you have and you move to malaysia and and you go find a village out in the jungles and you start living with the people that now if god wanted you to do that there would be a lot more than just a calling to minister to the malay people because possibly that means doing it virtually possibly that means being there but maybe it's in one of the more western areas where it's not necessarily in the villages but you're you're going to be in one of the larger towns and maybe you don't need to know the language maybe you do learning that is very important because if you don't prepare yourself if you don't get a a passport it's going to be really hard to go to another nation and you could miss the opportunity when god says this is the door step into it and so there's a preparation piece and we want to prepare ourselves we want to make sure that we've done everything that we can so that we don't miss the opportunity but we don't want to make it happen if god says that you've been called to start a business what do you know about running businesses maybe he hasn't told you what kind of business it is yet so you just need to learn management you need to learn some of the the basic philosophy of creating businesses entrepreneurship start taking some classes start to prepare yourself so as he gives you more you're ready and you can continue to follow that path now the first calling dream that i can remember having it was actually it was an interesting calling dream i we were just new believers me and my wife and we were going through leadership training so i think we we've been uh walking with the lord for maybe a couple years at the most maybe not even that and we were going through leadership training with our pastor and we would meet every week on a tuesday night and and learn different leadership principles and one night i have a dream it was actually a monday night i was getting ready i was getting up that tuesday i was going to go to work and then go to the leadership training that night so that that morning i woke up from this dream and in my dream i'm in africa i know i'm in africa i can see the the thatched roofs the the grass huts and i'm go into a village and i start speaking in a language that i don't know i know i'm speaking in tongues but they can understand the words that i'm saying i start leading people to the lord and people come to the lord and i and i i call leaders and i tell them that they're the leaders and they become the leaders of that church and then i walk to another village and i do the same thing again and i did that all night long i just i would start to to speak in a language that i didn't know i was speaking in tongues and in my own mind but it was what they understood preaching the gospel sharing the lord raising up leadership leaving the leadership and going on to the next place and doing the same thing again and again and again all night long well we get to leadership training that night and the icebreaker that our pastor starts with is if you had absolutely no question that you could accomplish anything resources were not an issue gifting was not an issue you you knew that you could do it what would you do and that was my answer i'm like well i had this dream last night like if i could do anything that's what i would do i would just you know i would come into these places and preach the gospel and establish things and raise things up see now the thing about that dream it was metaphorical now i do have a calling to africa and there are things that that i get to do in africa i've been in africa a number of different times and i work with leaders in africa and that is part of my calling but that's not the whole thing in that calling dream that calling dream was saying that i've been called to preach the gospel in places in cultures that are different than what i'm used to and not to rely on my own understanding but rely on god's spirit to guide me to give me the words to give me the message but not so that i can start something and stay there forever but i'm supposed to start things raise up leadership see the leaders come into their place and turn it over so that they can run with what god has given them and continue to do the same thing with other people and i've done that in a multitude of different ways i've helped to plant churches i've helped to start ministries i helped to oversee leadership teams all over in all different cultures and when i go to other cultures i often get comments like you know you you're you're you have easy for us to receive from you there's something about the way that you communicate it's something about you that that is easier for us to accept than maybe some other people that we've run into from america and and part of that is because of that calling that god gives me language and i actually will find myself when i'm in different places it's pretty easy for me to to catch phrases words uh you know when when i'm you know when i'm in britain it's the same language but it's slightly different they use different phrases they don't use different words and i will i will most often be able to catch myself and not use american catch phrases but actually use british catch phrases when i'm teaching now i still make mistakes in that but i do that when i'm in hong kong i i respond a little bit differently and i can actually pull in some of the culture of that area one of the first times i think it was the second time that i was in scotland i i get around people from scotland and you know my friends in scotland they'll question this i'm sure but this particular time like even my accent changed now i cannot do a scottish accent if i tried it's like when i tried that's why i say you ask my friends and they're going to laugh at this because when i try it's not good but there was an anointing that was there and i started talking to somebody i just met i'm at a meeting i'm going to be teaching and they're scottish and they're like are you from scotland and i'm like actually no i'm from america but i just take on something of what's in that area that's that culling dream now recognize calling dreams are not always literal actually they're usually symbolic they will usually have something to do with what you're going to do but they'll say it in a different way they'll give you the essence the essence is communicating by god's spirit and raising up leaders and moving on to the next thing that was the essence that i needed to know and so many calling dreams are going to be symbolic in their understanding if you take them too literally you'll often go down the wrong path and so you've got to recognize the metaphor in calling dreams as well now there are some that are actually visions in the night season and there's not metaphor and and learning to recognize that and and really the the best way to learn to recognize that is constantly take whatever your experience is back to god in prayer and start to ask him lord is this literal or is this symbolic when you start thinking about it literally do you feel the spirit of god confirming and saying yes or does it feel like it's a little bit more metaphoric you you learn to recognize the sense of it in your spirit because you practice it and because you spend time in the presence of god and you feel his yes you feel his agreement with your thought processes and you can also feel when he's not agreeing with your thought processes and you really want to develop that sensitivity to his spirit to that level where you you can literally feel the agreement of heaven with a way of thinking or the disagreement of heaven with a way of thinking because that is the process of discernment and if you want to really delve into and develop that level of sensitivity we actually i did this training one time called cultivating an effective prayer life and it's available on our website if you look it's an mp3 download it's about 10 and a half eleven a half hours of teaching audio teaching on how to develop prayer so that it's not just something that we do but it's something that we are because we're supposed to pray without ceasing and when we understand our union with christ we actually become prayer instead of it being an action that we do sometimes and when you get to that place that that ability to discern and feel the agreement with heavens on something or the disagreement of heaven on something becomes easier and easier and so it's part of that process of growth in discernment so you have calling dreams but how do you know if it was a calling dream because the other side of it is when our hopes or our wishes show up in our dreams we often call these soul dreams and we talk about soul dreams soul dreams can be negative but sometimes they're just not necessarily negative but you don't want to consider a soul dream as a dream from god because it's your hope and your wish not necessarily a promise from god and how do you recognize those differences one of the primary ways our soul dreams agree with something that's already in our soul so they're coming out of our soul the the bible says that they're dreams that we cause ourselves to dream and it talks about the dreams that you cause yourself to dream now those are what we call soul dreams because our soul is the source we're causing ourself to dream this dream if you have a soul dream it's gonna feel familiar it's gonna feel like oh i've always wanted that i've hoped that that was true i wish that that was true and some of the the most common soul dreams and we've done outreaches at sundance film festival at south by southwest down in austin different places like that where it's about film it's about music it's about all these people that are hoping to be discovered and become the next great thing guess what many of them have dreams that they were discovered and they became the next big thing and there's there actually it's possible that that could be a culling drain but that's actually rarer than the number of soul dreams that we run into and it's people just they they want it so badly that they make themselves dream about it one of the most common soul dreams we run into is somebody that's single that dreams about getting married it's their desire that's coming up and and i've seen so many times when people have hurt themselves by trying to pursue what was a soul dream thinking that it was a promise from god now that doesn't mean that god doesn't want someone to be married but we need to be able to separate out when it's our desires or even our prayers that our spirit is praying while we're sleeping versus a promise from god and learning to separate those things out can be very helpful so if you already have this thought in your head or maybe you you've always wanted to be super successful at a particular business or a particular thing or you've you've always wanted to be um wealthy and you have a dream that you're successful you have a dream that you're wealthy or maybe you've always wanted to discover that you have some special spiritual gift and be on a platform and be on a stage and you start having dreams about operating a spiritual gift and being on a platform and being on a stage that that may or may not be from god so with any other thing that goes through your soul you just take that back to the lord in prayer lord i recognize this is what i want and i i really want this lord do you want this for me it's not bad to want things god doesn't want us to not want he wants us to want the right things the question is is it what god wants for us and that's the question lord this is what i want what do you want we need to be able to say like jesus did lord not what i will but what you will i lay down what i want if it contradicts what you want i have once this is what i want but i will lay it down if it contradicts what you want there are times when god says what you want is what i want and i'm going to give it to you and there are times when he actually will remove that want from us and allow us to be okay with not having it but we need to be willing to surrender that see if we delight ourselves in the lord he will cause the desires of our heart to be the right desires and then he will give us the right desires it doesn't say that if we delight ourselves in the lord that we just get anything that we want that's not what that psalm is talking about when you delight yourself in the lord when he becomes your passion when he becomes your one thing your desires and his desires start to align and when your desires align with his desires you're going to get what you want because you're wanting the right things as we deal with the issues of our heart we find ourselves passionately pursuing the right things so we need to separate out what we would call a soul dream a hope and a desire from a calling dream because when you have a calling dream you want to start to to put your faith and your expectation on that you want to start to align your life with that you want to start positioning yourself so that you don't miss it you start asking for timing looking to the lord to give you the next steps but when you have a hope and a desire that shows up in your dream you begin to ask the lord lord is this what you want well if if i'm wanting something that's not in your plan for me would you change what my desires are would you change my heart search me o god and know me see if there's any wicked way in me and lead me in the everlasting way i want to walk in your paths lord you are my one thing i lay down everything else because you are my passion you are my goal you are my prize you are my very great reward i will walk after you all the days of my life and as we begin to position ourselves in that place we can trust ourselves to discern the will of god romans chapter 12 1-2 it says present your bodies as living sacrifices which is your reasonable service of worship so that you may be able to recognize the will of god i know i left parts of that out but that that's that's the the important piece as we as we surrender ourselves as we present ourselves as living sacrifices before him we begin to resist the the pattern of the world that it's trying to force on us and we take on the nature of god we're conformed into his image and it's in that place that we're able to prove we're able to to reveal what the will of god is and we live out that will and that transformation that renewing of the mind and that giving ourselves as a living sacrifice is key to that process and if that becomes our lifestyle we'll find ourselves not striving after vain hopes philippians chapter 2 says do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit don't don't do it because it's just what you want and you're not caring about how it's going to affect other people don't do it because you think yourself more important than what you are but consider yourself as less important than others putting their interests above your own interest having the same attitude as that which was in christ jesus see when we get to that place then we can trust the desires of our heart to guide us into the will of god we learn how to steward our hearts and our hearts guide us into god's plan but it starts with stewarding our hearts not with just following wherever our hearts go when they have not been trained by the will of god by the word of god by the voice of god as we allow that to happen it changes everything so that is calling dreams and how to recognize a calling dream how to respond to a calling dream and how to recognize when it's not a calling dream that familiarity the soul that that familiarity it's already in there this is really what i want but lord is this what you want and asking those questions and being willing to surrender and in that place it'll become easier and easier for us to recognize when it is not from him so let me look at a couple of the comments hey you guys have put up a lot of comments and i want to to take a look at these and we're gonna in just a second um actually a lot of these are our dreams someone looking for breakthrough lord we just we thank you for releasing breakthrough i have dreams and visions of the night seeking god in prayer and then get a response from him that's the way it's supposed to work as we press in in that life of prayer god will speak to us he'll speak to us in dreams he'll speak to us in scripture through other people through the spiritual community that we're a part of through visions through all kinds of things and it should be our expectation that as we seek after him we will hear his voice because his sheep hear his voice and that's a beautiful thing all right how do you separate a desired dream and a promise from god so that was kind of what i was i was talking about in recognizing whether it's something that's already in there and then taking it back to the lord asking him to bring your will in alignment with his will and lay it down if you keep on trying to lay it down and you've dealt with the issues of your heart sometimes there's there's pain there's uh there's inner vows there's there's inner healing that needs to happen when when there's wounds in our heart it becomes harder and harder for us to separate out our desires from from what god is speaking and so pursuing wholeness pursuing healing bringing our our our passions our priorities in alignment with god's word spending time in the word of god spending time in his presence and and letting him heal us letting him love on us and and and letting his love cause our hearts to come fully alive and when we get into that place then we're we're looking for him to separate out what is ours that's not of him and what's of ours that is of him because it's both ours but some of it is inspired by him and some of it is inspired by our fears our insecurities our needs our brokenness and and the more we get those things healed the more they lose their grip and they they they're more of a shadow and less of a substance and we can recognize that so asking god taking back that dream to him lord i don't know if this is a promise from you or if this is something out of my own soul like i know i want this but maybe you're answering my prayer and you're telling me whether i'm going to get it would you show me and being willing to ask that being willing is is a key if you're not even willing with to to if you're not willing to recognize that something that you want is not from god then you have no way of trusting your ability to hear from god on that if you're not willing to lay it down and you're not willing for him to say no that's not for you if you're not willing you have no way of actually discerning what he is saying because your your desires your choice you've actually developed a stronghold that that's one of the ways to recognize the stronghold you're not willing to look at any other option and when that happens that stronghold will filter the voice of god and it'll actually cause revelation and it's not really revelation and it's not the source is not from god the source is the stronghold and and those are the ones that that become the hardest to recognize the difference between a promise from god and our own soul so again coming back to that place of bringing our soul into submission and i i would i would strongly suggest that teaching i talked about cultivating an effective prayer life listen to that because it goes through it it's it's a it's a decently long teaching it's a seminar but it's going to really help you it's decades of study that i've done on contemplative prayer and how that forms the heart and makes room for the spirit of god and i think it'll be very very helpful in that arena all right so now we've got a bunch of dreams on here i want to do a couple dreams um before we finish up so let's see i think this person put in their dream at least five or six times that i can see on my screen right now so i'll talk i'll read this dream uh it is and actually i i said before i needed my glasses i still need my glasses so now that i'm gonna read these into more detail this this will help it's funny the camera is now blurry but i can read this i hate to admit that i need them but i do in 419 and 419 climbing a ladder three times once with frozen bread as a teacher in school to a ceiling window i open window and put bread there thaw this with other food feeds young kids and parents at table and room okay so you're climbing a ladder and one time you have the this frozen bread you're a teacher in a school and you go up to the ceiling window open the window put the bread in there to thaw so something that's frozen usually we we freeze something to preserve it to to to keep it so that it stays good longer when something is frozen but to be able to access it it needs to thaw so frozen bread is something that has been prepared ahead of time but preserved and held so that it can be brought at the at the right time bread can talk about revelation it could talk about ministry and jesus said that healing and deliverance were the children's bread and so you have healing deliverance you also have revelation being bred and so either of these could represent bread now you're you're a teacher in a classroom so there's a place of you training and tutoring and these are young children so is this literally children in a classroom and it feels like there's something literal that's there and i'm trying to discern if it's literally children in a classroom but it's like in a church where you're doing children's ministry or if it's in a secular classroom setting it but it seems like there's actually something literal about you working with children in a classroom where you're going to be teaching you're going to be training but you have something that's already been given to you that you've that's been preserved but you need to bring it to the light of heaven the the ceiling the window and the ceiling is this place of access to heavenly things i will open up the windows of heaven so you have to climb a ladder which is an increase in anointing going up into the heights of the spirit there's a spirituality that's going to be required to be able to access what's been preserved from another season so that you can provide it to those that god has called you to minister to so that's what that dream is talking about now i wasn't quite sure if the three times was saying you've had the dream three times and one time it was with frozen bread or three different times in the same dream you see yourself going up this ladder if it's it feels like it's the second one three different times in the same dream you're going up this ladder one time with a loaf of bread so you go up the ladder and then you're going up the ladder again this time you're going up the ladder with this frozen bed you put in the window there's there's seasons in your life of increase in spiritual activity and and there's going to be a couple seasons of preparation before you're actually ready to step into what god god has for you but when you step into it all the things that have been given at different seasons that have been preserved are going to come into a place where they're able to be given to those that are in need and you're going to find yourself providing food to to children providing food to those that need to be trained and and matured in the things of god so that is fun you are a teacher in kinder care if that means anything yes so that's talking about so it's not necessarily something in the future you're going to be doing but it's showing you that how god is actually going to be using you to take heaven's bread and open up the windows of heaven so that there's more going on than what it looks like in the natural that there's supernatural activity in that so there was a very natural literal meaning to the the children in there that's great okay um angela harris let's see i was in a mall and volunteered as a security guard at a bank and church r.w schambach was speaking over the radio at the mall when he spoke tennis balls would pop out of the mountain don't you just love dreams that's that's so funny just just picture that in your head in a mall and volunteer as a security guard at a bank and a church and you hear r.w schambach speaking over the loudspeaker over the radio at the mall and you see tennis balls popping out of the mountain um okay so mall malls can mean a couple different things they can mean the marketplace it could talk about materialism because you know play shopping all these different things it could also be talking about like a large a large ministry or a large corporation that has multiple different areas so this one r.w schambach you've got in church being in the mall this is talking about a ministry this is talking about a ministry type setting so the mall is representing a large ministry that has a lot of different ministries that are a part of it and a bank and a church there's something about finance and provision and there's something about the spiritual health of the people and the security guard is somebody that's going to be watching over that's an intercessory role and so you're going to be taking on an intercessory role to watch over to guard specifically provision and the spiritual health of people in a larger setting and and r.w schambach is miracles healing faith like he he operated in astounding faith in astounding miracles some of the some of the most amazing miracles recorded in our generation were for a well a previous generation i guess it's not kind of our generation some of us were around our i think he's i'm pretty sure he's passed away but he he actually ministered in the 50s and the 60s and and clear through at least until the the 90s and i think into the early 2000s i can't remember um when he passed i i think actually he may not have but anyways so he's from a previous generation but astounding miracles and hearing him hearing the voice and and it's interesting because you're hearing the voice over the radio and r.w schambach was part of a movement that was called the voice of healing and there there's this place of faith place of the miraculous and and that being something that grabs the attention of the people so in this realm you're called as a security guard you're called as an intercessor watching over provision watching over the spiritual health and there there is a voice of healing that's being released the mountain represents the kingdom of god and the mountain of the lord is going to grow up he'll take over all the other kingdoms that's in daniel and the tennis balls is is about um service and playing the game there is a phrase and i wonder actually if you personally have some roots in the vineyard or or connected with john wimber because he he would have this phrase everybody gets to play and it seems tied into this that that in this place in this thing that you've been called to intercede for the voice of healing is released in and the tennis balls is everybody gets to play everybody gets to serve because you have to serve a tennis ball um everybody gets to serve everybody gets to play and and god is releasing stuff from his kingdom through the voice of healing into this arena that you've been called as an intercessor to watch over provision and watch over the spiritual health of what's going on there so that is fun that's a great dream angela thank you for sharing that let's see now i've got a bunch of them i've got a scroll it took me a while to scroll through to the bottom of these um nikkisha francois uh father tells me there's a fire upstairs in the family house he goes to call my uncle to help i see that it's spread to the living room and needs a fire department i rush to call the fire service on my cell but it's the wrong number so your your father tells you that there's this fire that's going on in your family house it's upstairs you recognize it's now spread into the living room and there's going to need some outside help to be able to take care of it and you're trying to get the help that you need but it's not the right number you're not able to connect and basically the the fire talks about some type of a destructive situation something negative that's going on and um and and in this situation you your your family is starting to recognize and it's affecting your family that's why it's the family house so there's something going on in your family that's not good it's actually grown to the point where you realize you need some outside help to deal with it and you've been looking for that help but you haven't been able to find that help it feels like you you've got the wrong number where you've looked for help is not the right thing you haven't connected with the help that you need and so it's recognizing that this is going on in your family it's a call to prayer but also god's not going to leave you without help so he's not giving you this so that you uh do not continue to press in but so that you do continue to press in so that's not in the dream but this would be understanding god's ways continue to ask because you're going to find the right help at the right time to help with the become helpful hopeless because you haven't been able to find the help that you're looking for for what's going on in your family god is going to move in that situation even though it feels like you haven't found the help yet so want to encourage you with that hey i want to let you know about a couple things really quick so we are doing me and my friend bob hazlitt some of you know who bob is hopefully hopefully do if not look up bob hazlett he is a prophetic guy he does some great teaching training and equipping in the prophetic we are meeting up in dayton ohio to do a conference called under the green tree and we've been having conversations about the the need for prophetic ministry to come to a greater place of maturity and the lord's been speaking to both of us about this and so we wanted to come together and just infuse some wisdom that we've learned from life and ministry things that we've seen the mistakes that we've made the victories that we've had to bring some maturity and bring some health into the the prophetic ministry so our goal and what we feel like god has called us to is to gather people together around the green tree who's jesus and as we come together that god is going to impart wisdom so that we can grow in wisdom so that we can learn his ways now if you can come in person it's going to be great we're going to be in ohio but i know many of you i mean we've got people from all over the world here and you're not going to be able to it is actually available be with us and we have had some questions about the local expression global impact i know laura and you asked if we could give you guys an update on that and so we want to make sure that you have an update we have you know been working in this space you guys can see we we've done some upgrades and being able to provide these kinds of recordings we're doing these live we're doing our our gatherings we have a lot of stuff that we've been able to do virtually actually i was just teaching courses in hong kong a couple weeks ago right from our classroom but we were doing it virtually and we've been able to do that because of this fundraiser we started calling local expression global impact we had a goal of 35 000 so far we've raised uh i think it was 23 24 000. it was 21 000 but over the last weekend um i think we had a little bit more so we're right around 23 to 24 000 so we have another 12 000 that we want to raise for this and we just because of the expansion that that god has released favor on streams ministries we're at a place where our offices we just moved into in february are already a little bit small so we're expanding our offices here in the next two months we're going to be moving into the offices right next door to us and so we we have a lot of opportunity to really grow in and sow into health in the prophetic around the world now some of you have heard me talk about this before but when when john paul passed away i was asking the lord what my spiritual inheritance was i know that as a spiritual son someone that that was mentored by him that spent time with him and learned from him i knew that i had an inheritance in the spirit but i didn't know what it was that god wanted to give me and when i was asking him he gave me this phrase prophetic reformation and i knew that i was called to be a part of this prophetic reformation that that brings health and maturity to the prophetic and and to continue what god had given john paul he started the art of hearing god course in the 90s to to bring health and bring maturity to the prophetic movement because he'd seen so many of his friends that didn't make it that that fell that left the ministry for all kinds of different reasons and he learned lessons on how we can be a people that can be trusted with a pure word from god and can be people that can be trusted with authority and not just power and those principles are the principles that we still continue to teach and are going to continue to teach as long as we are able to and so your your help in this allows us to continue to
