I feel like I should clarify some stuff on this thread as people are starting to make up their own rules about what is okay in Demise.
1) We all talk. If we ask for something to not be trapped, it won't be. However we all accepted when we signed up that demise bunkers in particular were going to be the target of traps. They were never meant to last and none of us are going to be crying because they got totalled, damn it, go out in a blaze of firey glory.
2) We all talk. I realise that technically it's only one point but it's such a big one I thought it was worth mentioning twice.
I was baited by False posting first and seeing Grian live through that episode
I wonder if this (and maybe one other large explosion) were what Tango was referring to when he said that Sunday evening after the Livestream day, he and Cub had been working on "something big" off camera.
And realize that what may be considered griefing on most servers may not be griefing on this server, due to the unique nature of a small community of content creators who talk regularly behind the scenes. In other words, don't try this at (your) home (server).
That final trap was nasty. Imagine if the bros were having a team meeting. I wonder what triggered it. Maybe it was someone nearby watching for name tags and manually triggering it?
My theory on what triggered the trap was that below the carpets in the meeting room were redstone ores, and when grian jumped into the desk after placing his own head, it triggered the trap and killed him.
i think it was totally meant to be a "kill a bunch of them" trap, and G just took it for the team honestly imo the bunkers are made to be blown up and destroyed, just like civil war bases :) im kinda sad but i'm really excited. there seems to be a lot of stuff going on in the dead team, and grian will finally unleash his prankster nature. it's time to be goofing and gafing -i hope g will demise doc or at least go for him, because everybody have failed miserably on this task-
My immediate thought for how it was triggered was a silenced pufferfish player detector underneath the table.
I let out an audible gasp when I saw this pop up in my feed
