okay time to figure out what's on this thing hey how's it going welcome back we're playing inscription and i know what you're thinking jack i've never heard of this game before and you know what i'ma be honest i hadn't heard of it either i only just found out what this game is and i'm incredibly intrigued by it because it's a very different kind of horror game nice getting retro feeling it i'm kind of into it you know have you guys ever played slay the spire basically what this is but extremely horrifying let's just jump into it i don't have a continue why can't i do a new game oh hi who are you another challenger it has been ages perhaps you have forgotten how this game has played maybe forgotten i don't even know allow me to remind you okay play the squirrel card all right now play because i want you guys to be involved in this i want you guys to be scared so after all that's why we're playing it ring the bell to end your turn your stone stands unopposed the number on the bottom left is the attack power and the other is my defense got it nice your stone dealt me one damage i added it to the scale this is cool i like this you win if you tip my side all the way down oh your a squirrel and then i must sacrifice both for a wolf whoa my stoke card talked to me the beast is sacrificed but not removed from your deck got it oh yeah oh yeah it's wolf time baby let's go again the choice a random card from your deck or a certainty of a score i'll go with a random card for my deck what do i got a river snapper well damn i can't play that oh getting scared are we well you're passing so i feel like you're just letting me win you've won this match they would all be so easy nice this is cool i like how freaky it is let me recall your story oh yes you were lost deep in the forest a single path revealed itself this is very like slide the spire two denizens of the forest approached you tentatively the caustic adder damage from its poison bite is always lethal um we only add one to your i kind of want to go with the otter because that seems cool to have a poison card what's this when a carrot bearing deciduous sacrifices does not perish ooh that's good you came across an abandoned sack you found a squirrel in a bottle breaking case of emergency [Music] okay we got some good items i mean i think i don't know the game you were ambushed while crossing some rough terrain oh you sacrificed me while i was sleeping it was the right play i get it maybe you'll help me i will play along for now oh god it sounds like papers please all of a sudden the easing order are onwards past the bloody terrain nice this is so cool okay okay i'm into it okay i get a wolf or a sparrow i want them see you transform into something stronger but i want you because i want to be able to attack directly airborne stuff seems really good you stumbled into some strange stones in the mist he worked well to choose a worthy sacrifice one that will be lost forever that'll be lost forever um the cat why not wait no yeah pick me okay what happens if i pick you what an honor oh now you can't perish nice that's cool because now i'd be able to have a a relatively okay card on the board that doesn't perish whenever i try and sacrifice it so he stays on the board ready to attack oh god what is this behold my totem it inscribes my canine cards with the airborne sigil wait so now all your wolves are airborne he's completely insane you see that right no care for the rules pathetic really enough when he keeps me around to watch me suffer okay uh squirrel go and then stout uh yes but i don't want you to be well these are airborne so at least you're doing damage there yeah these guys are gonna do a lot of damage oh that sucks oh but now i can do this right i can sacrifice you without my wolf nice oh but am i dead oh not yet and then i can put down a squirrel and then i can play wolf i get it boom oh hurts to suck doesn't it let's go big baby oh ruined absolutely demolished another gnashed their teeth what a word you pulled the stone away from the fire and left get out of there you're gonna get killed if you stay there there's a way out for both of us it's somewhere in mechanic to tip a scales so like we're tipping the scales back and forth so it's not like whoever reaches a certain number first so if he is me all the way down and then i do enough damage it comes all the way back so you could be in this like perpetual back and forth all the time really nice get out of here i hope you didn't think it would be that easy there's gold in them cards wait look good played you will receive a random item as long as you have less than three items um i feel like airborne is pretty good isn't it because it just goes over everything so if i have three power that's sacrifice both let's play my wolf and then boom get two bones back and you're dead ah crap but man okay well this actually works out fine so yeah i win okay i was a little worried there for a second call him a friend but i suppose we are in deep this time i like this a lot i like the sort of story that's unfolding here what does this do when an empty space would be struck a card-bearing decidual will move to that space to receive the strike instead so basically i can't attack empty spaces because these are all going to move into them well good because i need to destroy those quick total misplay oh well sorry i'm new to this okay shut up oh now he'll move into the space whoops maybe it was a misplay it would look like the scales are starting to shift mr shifty eyes eat it how brutal of you you dealt me more damage than you needed win however in my game such feats are rewarded to be precise tooths to keep for each extra damage dealt the trapper may be interested in your spoils interesting okay so that i get teeth um i can get a card or this is new i'm gonna go for the new stuff i want to i want to learn what it is you must make a different kind of choice now choose not a specific beast but decide the cost that you wish to pay so i can pay three and maybe get something better when in doubt middle it out i get i don't i don't know why i thought i would pay that i just about his appearance but you are quickly distracted by your squares care to look at my pelts take the rabbit pelt free of charge okay see the quality yeah you're leaving already please consider me that i put out and it gets destroyed and it just goes straight back into my hand like i don't know maybe a squanch although him being airborne is nice i need something that doesn't have yeah a wolf something that doesn't have a trait already i don't know if that's good or not i might lose again i lose a life just by going into the boss fight students cheating you can't do that one flame you will either overcome them or die fear not they will let you keep the smoke i got the smoke from the candle you're not going to do the stupid prospector again are you the incessant clank link clanking cheese [Music] okay well that's gonna do it for this episode man what a really cool game i i very much enjoy the the sort of style that's going on here not only is it a solid card game but which i i need some more practice in to just like get the fundamentals of it but i really like the sort of horror aspect that's going on in the background not only that but getting up off the table and going around and finding stuff around the environment super dope very clever like it a lot very very cool game but sadly that's gonna do it for this one fear not you will have a chance again to face me
