hi I'm John Deere owner of digitizing Made Easy I found that many people who purchase software for embroidery find themselves hitting a learning curve they didn't expect and what was meant to be fun quickly turns into frustration any software is only as good as the education provided and at digitizing Made Easy education is what we do best as official resellers for will comms hatch software I'm proud to offer this three-part interactive video series that will guide you through all three modules offered within hatch getting you past the learning curve quickly and easily this free instructional series is structured to build onto each of Hatch's three modules showing you all the tools and features available in hatch even if you purchased the top level of digitizer I strongly suggest that you start with the customizer videos and then move on to creator and finally onto the digitizer video but remember learning the software is only half the puzzle the other half and in my opinion the most important part is the theory behind creating beautiful soft embroidery designs at digitizing made easy we also offer the digitizers dream course which is broken down into three levels level one is on the running stitch level two on the satin and level three the fill we give you everything you need to learn how to digitize at your own pace and on your own time if you purchase any of the hatch modules through digitizing made easy we include exclusive education and ESA flexi font bonuses not available anywhere else at digitizing made easy we are also the largest independent esa font developer in the world and we have over 550 optional esa flexi fonts and elements to choose from if you've never had the opportunity to play with hatch or new to embroidery I invite you to download our 30 day free trial through digitizing made easy when you do we'll also send you three additional interactive videos that will get you creating actual embroider designs right away we are true to our name digitizing [Music] hi I'm John Deere owner of digitizing Made Easy and I want to congratulate you on your purchase of hatch you now own the best embroidery software in the entire industry and keep in mind that this software is both intuitive and intelligent and this video will help you to learn a lot of the main features within the software and get you past the learning curve quickly now the whole idea behind this video tutorial is you will see all three modules if you've purchased the customizer module that will give you design management you can organize your designs it'll also allow you to bring in and layout existing designs that you already own and it will give you the ability to utilize the ESA flexi fonts which are hands down the best fonts in the entire embroidery industry they are not stitch files they are object based files and you can literally do whatever you want with regards to size or changing properties within fonts so that'll be the customizer then we will show you the features within the Creator module the Creator module will allow you to do a whole bunch of really cool things but most importantly it'll allow you to go in and edit designs you can edit existing designs and take out pieces change stitch types change properties it is in my opinion what most embroiderers need if they want to successfully run an embroidery machine now then they will go into the digitizer and the digitizer is specifically meant for people who want to create their own designs and this is really where Hach excels because you are able to go in and intuitively and intelligently create designs and the software will automatically assign properties that will allow your designs to stitch better on your selected fabric types now this video is meant to be a visual learning guide and to be honest that's the way I like to learn vests but if you are a person who likes to read manuals you can always go into the help section of the software on the top tab and go into the users guide and within the users guide you can actually download the entire manual and this is hundreds of pages long so if you are that type of person who wants something printed beside you you can download the p8 PDFs and print those you can also go through the menu on the side here and you can find out pretty much everything with regards to every single tool in the software if I want to look up what stitch types are available in the software all I have to do is type in the word stitch types and click on the search and it will show me all of the available things in this section I can look up satin stitches I can look up to Tommy stitches I can look up stitch quality anything that I would possibly want to know about any of the tools in the software is here for you to quickly look at now you will find that within the working space of your actual system it will change based on the tool boxes the tools that you are choosing so we're the first one we're gonna look at is the manage designs and keep in mind that this actually works within your actual Windows folders so you can go and look in your actual folders within your windows directory and see the designs are available there is automatically as a default the embroidery library and within the embroidery library you can find embroider designs or you can add new folders so that you can customize your library however you would like now when I choose a design it will automatically give me a preview of the size the height the width the colors all the information that is assigned to that will actually show within the actual preview on the side and I can also go up here where it goes to showing and show the selected design files whether I'm looking for EMB files which are the native files to welcome or whether I'm looking for machine file formats I can search specifically by those files now it makes it very easy to go in and to look for designs and to organize and catalog your designs you can also convert designs if I want to do a conversion of a set group of designs and I want to make sure that I convert to multiple formats at once I don't have to do them individually I can select the conversions I want and basically ask them to convert it to whatever folder I want within my windows directory so this makes it a very efficient way to actually organize your designs and most importantly you now see the designs as stitch simulated icons you're not just seeing a file name which has no meaning to you you're actually able to see the designs as they look when they would sew out now within my design manager if I do want to select a design all I have to do is double left-click on the actual design and it will open it on to a new page with the actual file number being shown it always brings the design into a one-to-one size on-screen now here's where you can see that the top icons have now changed we actually have new we have new from we have open we have recent designs I can insert a design and this is where I might want to bring a design in within the software without going through my manage designs toolbox I can also save designs undo redo these are all standard features and keep in mind when you do hover over each of the keys there are hotkeys that will show you obviously this is a kind of a universal control Z for undo but we have a control Y for redo now these are some of the important ones there is actually the viewing keys and if I have a design on screen if I either click on the true view or hit the T button on my keyboard it will give me a simulated embroidery so ad on screen now the other thing that it allows me to do is to come in and show my design in different sort of settings so if my true view is off and if I go to my show it'll actually allow me to see stitches shapes if I click on the shapes and click off the stitches I'll just have outlines of the objects sometimes when I'm editing designs it's actually a little cleaner to look at a design this way can also go in turn off my shapes and I can go into my stitches and I can show my needle points and when I show needle points I'll actually see all of the needle penetrations within the design now the other thing that I can do is see the connectors and the connectors is handy because the connectors will allow me to see my jumps and trims within a design you can also look at other show factors which are the bitmap for the artwork and I can also see applique fabrics if those are available now the other thing I can do is I can choose hoops and if I choose a hoop there is a list of machines so whatever machine brand you have you can actually choose the brand that is closest associated with the machine that you own and then I can select the hoop size that is actually available for that brand and this gives me a really clean way of seeing the actual size of the hoop that I'm using when I'm doing design layout so it makes it very very handy to work around I can actually go and you know switch the hoop to the right or the left I can actually change my measurements from metric to US and keep in mind that I do think in u.s. measurements when I'm thinking the size of a design but when I'm thinking of properties of embroidery metric is the the most universal way to do it it does make more sense that way now I can also go in and I can tell it to do a user-defined hoop so if I do not see a hoop size that is available I can come in here and I can actually do a user-defined hoop and create a hoop size specifically for my machine that might not otherwise be there to create a new hoop all I have to do is right-click on the hoop as it's highlighted bright orange and then I can create custom hoops specifically for the Machine brand that I own and this comes in really handy if you do have aftermarket frames that you've purchased for your machine now I'm going to turn off the hoop and I'm going to turn on my grid with the grid this will give you a out of your grids and if you right click again on the actual show grid it will give you your user interface settings here you have a lot of different options to choose from if I go to my grid settings I can actually set this up to snap to grid I can actually do set reference points I can change my grid from 10 millimeters to 1 millimeter I do find that very handy if I'm actually looking to see how big something is if I'm doing 5 ml text I might change it to a one millimeter grid so when I'm zoomed in I can see exactly how you know hi my texts are in relation to the amount of squares that I see I also have a show rulers and guides this will give me measurements as I'm actually clicking on the screen so that I can actually as I would be creating objects I actually see the measurements showing and that is also very handy you know resource to have within general I do have an autosave function it will show tool names large icons it shows measuring on the tool tip this one for enabling mouse click sounds that can be on or off and as a professional digitizer I do like to keep that one on because my left-click actually makes one sound and my right-click makes another I can have a crosshair cursor which allows me to kind of line up objects and I know if I'm true and square to the objects because I see the crosshair instead of just a little arrow as I'm in my selection mode now for viewing designs I can see exactly before like I did within my show features and was scrolling there is a auto scrolling feature within this software and it is one of those features that once you learn how to use it it's very beneficial it almost has to be kind of lovingly tapped to the outside area of the screen for it to move successfully but you can actually control the response time of the auto scrolling so that it will sort of slow it down a little bit as you move around so there's a lot of tools within that feature now within my rulers I can turn my rulers on or off on my display area and if I want to I can come into the corner of my ruler and I can start to bring over you know objects that will actually show me my outline so if I turn off my grid now I can see that I dragged over this object and this this comes in really handy when you're trying to square up an object and make sure that text is actually you know working you know within the object properly all I have to do is click and drag and I can create sort of you know squared up lines so that I know exactly where things are going to meet I just had to make sure that I let go right on the ruler and that way I know that it's going to actually give me those lines in place so it's a very useful tool to actually do it if I want to get rid of them all I have to do is drag them back into the corner where they came and all of those measure marks will actually be gone I also have the ability to well in true view or not in true view I can turn on the player so let's do the true view with the T key I can see I now have simulated embroidery and if I want to view this design as a player I can actually ask it to play and you can see the stitches are starting to generate and I can control the speed in which it actually doesn't simulated sewing I can go by next color I can go to the end I can pause the design anywhere I want or I can go on to this little color tab which shows me all of the different colors and I can fast forward throughout a design and see all the details that are being created so it is a very very helpful way to actually see a simulated so out of a design before you actually have to run it on your machine now I can tell it to go to the end and stop now here is when I hit they can the Escape key and it will get me out of my simulated sawing mode so now I'm out of my player and now I can come in and I can actually view the design in different ways there's hotkeys for all of these the P hotkey is for pan and when I hit the pan a little hand shows up on-screen and now I can literally drag my object wherever I want on the screen let it go with the left click and it'll put it in place that's very and II for doing design layout quickly if I select an object and if I turn the TrueView off hit control a and select the object then I could just come here to pan and I can move it exactly where I want independently and then hit the escape and click on the screen with my left click and it actually unselect the entire item now there is the one key on your keyboard that's the number one or I can hit this tab and this will give me my one-to-one view which is what I'm at right now I can zoom into a design incrementally or I can zoom out of the design incrementally I can also click on the zero key or the zoom to fit and it will fill up the entire screen I can very easily go back to one to one by hitting the one or hitting the zoom one to one key and there is also a hotkey it's the V key on your keyboard the V key will automatically toggle between the last two sizes that you have selected for the actual design viewing on screen now I also have the zoom key which is the B key and the B key will give me my little zoom box where I can come in I can left-click and drag and it will actually zoom in to a specific area on the screen and it'll show me the zoom scale and right now I'm at 1020 percent if I want to actually select a set scale if I want to let's say digitize a design at 6 to 1 which is the scale that I use the F key on your keyboard is the zoom factor key and if I want to type in 6 for 600 percent and press ok it'll actually zoom in to 600 percent and I can see it on the screen then if I want to toggle to fit to screen I can now hit the V key and toggle between those two very very easily being able to actually look at your design at your desired size or scale while you're either editing or doing layout is very important for being you know relatively quick within working around the software now I also have my back ground for displaying colors and what if I want to change the color of a background I can actually choose any color that I want and click OK and it'll change the background of the actual screen so I can change the actual screen color if I want to do this just as a light gray or as a white color I can change it to whatever color I want there are also features where I can come in and turn on articles of you know jackets sweats you know men's attire ladies attire I can actually choose blanks that are all preset if I want to see how this is going to look on an apron or a pillow and I can choose any of these objects and then have them selected so that they will come up as an image and if I go to my one-to-one scale now I can see how I can have an embroidery simulate image and I can change the color of that baseball hat or the item that I want it's just a useful little tool for doing layout and kind of seeing how a design might look if it's on a certain type of object now along the bottom of my working here I have the ability to actually customize my palette this is the default palette that comes up when you call up a design and you can add or remove colors to it you can hide unused or remove and use colors that are not actually being used in the sequence so if I go to remove unused colors you're going to actually see that my actual design palette is defaulted to three different pieces now I can undo that and get all of my colors back and if I do want to change design I can basically come in choose my you know teal color apply and then click on a certain object and it will actually adjust the color of that object to whatever the new one that I want now I also have the ability to come into my threads and if I go to my thread charts I can actually add thread charts to my charts so if I use our a poly thread I can make sure that I have that as my default and as long as my default thread colors are there I can then go to a match all and when it does that the software will automatically look at the defaults and assign the closest match into the available threat colors that I currently have so it's a very useful tool for going in and you know looking at an actual design hit escape and it brings me back to my select now keep in mind if I'm out of true view and I hit select while I am in the customizer module it will automatically select the entire design I just want to be clear the customizer is not for doing editing of designs or objects it will edit the objects within an esa file those are the lettering and monogramming fonts that are built into the software but if i try to reshape an object it's basically going to give me a notice that says that the reshaping of this object is not available because that is in the next module which is the Creator module of the software now you can either insert a design through the insert design tab along the top or you can go to your customized designs within your toolbox and click on the insert designs this will bring up your designs and show them on-screen and it's within your windows folder I'm going to bring in a design by double-clicking to open it you can choose what file format you're looking for as well now that the design is highlighted I can see at the bottom right hand corner it shows me the height and the width that shows me the stitch count in the design and it also shows me the fabric type that is chosen now this is really important because within my customized designs I can call up the design information which will essentially give me that same information that's there and allow you to write a summary within each design if you want to catalog it but it also shows me the background default color is the same as we did before and this one here is the auto fabric now the auto fabric is something that is really proprietary to the EMB file format if you do have designs that are EMB file formats that's the native tongue of welcome I'm not talking about VIP or p/es or je F files but EMB files and you can apply these Auto fabrics so if I want to change this design from pure cotton and let's say put it on a stretchy terry cloth cowling i can click the ok' button and it will change the recipe and now you can see at the bottom it says stretch terry cloth towel and the stitch count has gone up to fourteen thousand three hundred thirty four stitches where before it was actually at thirteen thousand seven hundred when you choose the auto fabric it changes the underlay the pull cop and the density specifically for the fabric type that you choose you also have the auto start and end which will allow you to actually offset your needle positions if you want but the default is to maintain your start and stop point in the center of the design and let's use the way you would have it set now if I come in here control a which has selected the entire file I can see it's highlighted then I can adjust all of my stitch spacing within the design again on an EMV file format and that will globally take a percentage of the stitches out again a kind of handy tool if you have a design that is running a little stitch intensive and a little little bulletproof you can change thread colors you can change design colors and you can optimize your colors as well now here's where I have to be honest the optimize colors is one of those things that if you do have a design that was digitized properly then you shouldn't have to optimize the colors but if there is unnecessary color changes it will show you the amount of colors in the design what it hopes to optimize it to and if you continue it will actually change the sewing order of the design and that can sometimes work for you but it can just as easily work against you as well and now we're going to cover the next tool in our toolbox and this is really where customizer excels and that's within the lettering and monogramming we also have a reshaping object in there as well the lettering within the hatch software is actually es a font technology which means that it's not a stitch file these are actual objects now if I type in any text I want I'm gonna just type I'm digitizing and we'll type in Made Easy so I just type in my lettering and I'll see that I automatically get a preview up of what the design is going to look like and I can basically put it anywhere on the screen that I want if I'm not happy with the color well it's highlighted I can choose any other color in my palette and I can also take my little black lines and I can adjust the height I can adjust the overall size I can adjust the width of a design and it will very very quickly adjust everything within those parameters now I'm just gonna undo that back to the original because I can also come over here and I can actually tell it to be a certain height size so if I want 14 millimeter lettering instead of 10 millimeter I just type in 14 hit the OK and it'll automatically resize the lettering now I can come in here and I can basically tell the design that I want it to let's say be on a circle so I'm going to do a clockwise circle and it will automatically adjust it to a circle now I can also come in here to the circle itself and I'm going to hit the reshape tool and when I hit the reshape tool I can grab the center of that circle and I can adjust it so that it will automatically kind of go within the parameters of that object and that way it's going to actually you know look pretty good exactly where I want it to be and then I can modify the entire design I can move all of the letters individually along the baseline and I might want to do this because if I hit the TrueView you're going to see that the software will automatically join closest point so when I come here to these objects I can see that there's a little triangle in a circle but it's actually joining closest point with the between these two so I can actually drag left-click and drag a box which grabs both of those objects move them along the base line and I can move them until I see that actual triangle disappear and now I know that that lettering is going to actually so closest point from the M all the way through to the E now the other advantage well it's in reshape mode is every single letter because it's an object I have the ability to modify it when I click on the letter the original wireframes come up so that if I wanted to turn the top of this D into an actual serif I can actually add nodes I could bring a serif on both sides I could actually grab those four pieces and I can make the entire you know piece of the D larger I can grab this and I can take this and if I hit the spacebar well the actual curved point is in it'll automatically turn it to a straight point and I can basically customize a design however I want based on the actual artwork because this is not a stitch file it is actually a piece of you know ESA technology that allows me to go in and modify anything within the design that I want so I can go in there and basically do whatever I want to a design just by clicking on the nodes and using the reshape tool now that's also allows me to do a counterclockwise so I can come in here I put it to counterclockwise and if you look it still maintained all of the changes that I made to that I can do it on a fixed line I can actually do it so that I have a free stand very cool line and I can do it so it is on in any shape line when I'm on any shape this allows me to click anywhere on the line and I can put as many points in as I want and I can actually well it's highlighted hit the spacebar it'll go from a straight to a curved so if I turn these two points to curves I can now come in and modify the curves of this base line and create something that is you know incredibly customized I I can very very quickly go in and modify anything within a design just by clicking it and then if I drag these letters it'll automatically drag across that actual fixed base line that I've created so you can see the versatility in this it's incredibly easy to change anything I can also come in to my advanced settings and I can change the width of an actual font so if I do it at 140% it's actually increased the width I can actually adjust the slant of a font so I can actually slant them and I can adjust the letter spacing so if I want to bring this to let's say 1 millimeter it will join those letters a little closer together that way I don't have to move them independently and it will help to assist in joining closest point the other thing that I can do within the sewing order is I can have it so from left to right or from right to left but I can also take this and do a center out feature just by clicking a button and if you have a you know machine that will allow you to sew on a tubular item like a finished baseball hat you need to have a Center at rule because that will allow the the actual design to shut to so from the center of the baseball hat out to either side and that way you won't be buckling over the material so there's so many incredible things that you can do now I'm just going to delete that object so let's just grab in here I'm gonna select that entire object let's delete it and now I'm going to come in and I'm just going to type in three letters this time let's do DM and I'm going to do an E and I'm gonna take this and I'm gonna bring it right up here and I'm gonna make it much much larger okay so now I have that object it's pretty large and actually let's make it really large and if I look at it right now I can see that this is a very very long satin stitch now the other thing that I want to show you is I have lettering art so I can come in here and I can very very quickly grab all of these letter art objects and if I want to I can grab it on the handle and I can drag it across and I can basically click onto an object and very quickly have it you know recreate that whatever letter I have very quickly by just clicking whichever setting I want and it gives you a visual of whatever you're doing and again remember I can still go into my reshape mode and I can control how that actually works as well I can actually change all of these points and customized within my my letter art gala very very quickly so I'm just gonna take that tab bring it back over here and close it and then let's bring this back to let's say this one right here this is gray actually let's remove the letter art altogether so I'll just bring it back to the original and now I've covered pretty much all of these things I can do an alignment from left justified to Center to right I can have it a full adjustment so that it stays within a box this is great if you're doing things like birth announcements and you want to do layouts it also gives me two line layouts and three line layouts as well so it'll give me a you know counterclockwise and clockwise curve on the top and the bottom plus it'll give me something with a centerline that is straight as well now within my fills on my tab at the top with my object properties well this is highlighted and I could always tell if it's highlight because if I change this color right now and I turn off the TrueView and I'm gonna select this object I can see that there is actually here if i zoom in again hit my B key I can see that I have some staggered lines what this is telling me is that these are actually becoming too long too so and you might actually activate trims or jumps on your embroidery machine because it's going over a friendly stitch length to sew up properly so what I'm going to do is I'm going to go one tab over let's bring this up to a full screen so that I can see it on the screen and I'm going to go over to my fills when I go to my fill tab it actually shows me a satin - Tommy 3-d or emboss fill and I see auto spacing or manual spacing this is where I can control the density of the actual design manually Auto spacing which is usually the default will be controlled based on the actual fabric type that I choose for the fabric so if I want to change this to an auto fabric type I can click that I can change it from pure cotton too stretchy terrycloth hit enter and it will change the default density in the Underland an object but most importantly well it's highlighted I can click the auto split and when I click the auto split what will happen is any stitches that have gone over 7 millimeters which is a friendly stitch length for wearable item will automatically start to splice and if I don't like the look of that I can always go into my tatami stitches and I can choose a fill pattern and you can choose any one of the 44 default fill patterns so if I want to create something that has a really nice rope effect I might actually choose number 18 and I can see how it gives me a really nice rope effect within that design I can adjust the spacing I can actually click on this and I can tell it to be a longer stitch length keep in mind though if I change the stitch length on that it will actually change the fill pattern ever so slightly I can also come here to my effects and I can actually tell these objects to sew on one side both sides or the other side and I can control the amount of feathering that it actually has by just taking this and moving this button from here over to let's say five millimeters and it will adjust the amount of feathering so I can get really cool looking designs now the automatic corners which is defaulted this will automatically miter or turn corners and this one here within my stitch settings will allow me to turn offer on my underlay so if I look at the objects here and let's turn off the true view I can see that it has it to Tommy underlay with us with the you know for the pattern on there if I turn off the underlay it will disappear depending on which fill type I have chosen so if I choose a satin stitch now if I look at it I can see that it's chosen a double zigzag with an edge run and if I don't want the edge run to show I click off of this and I can just click on it once and tell it to do a let's say a double zigzag and that'll give me a underlay but it won't show any traveling stitches around the outside you can control the pull compensation on a design you can control the nectars I can have a tie in and a tie off and I can have different types of tie in a tie off whether it's a tatami method which would be the at the end of an object or if I have a satin method it sews inside of the objects so that you don't see the tie out stitch we have automatic trims and automatic jump features so there is incredible versatility to everything that you could possibly think of doing when you're actually playing with these letters you can change everything right down to the pull comp the underlay the density you can choose an auto fabric assist you can take any one of these objects and if I go to reshaping and if I click on that object and I want to actually just move one little piece of that and move this one over here add an object here add an object here you can see how incredibly powerful this software is to customize anything you have no limitations other than your imagination now one more thing I wanted to quickly show you with regards to fonts is how easy it is to preview your fonts I have typed in digitizing made easy and I have block to chosen and you can always tell which is an esa font because you have that little red stitch line there now some of the fonts that are in here like with this one we have bloody 20 millimeters we have blow brush 10 millimeters all of these fonts have measurements after them and those are thoughts that we at digitizing made easy have created we've done over 570 ESA fonts that can be loaded into the software as an option and if you purchase a software through us you know that you got usually extra bonus fonts with your purchase so the minimum size is actually important the maximum doesn't matter so much but if I'm looking at this font here this font actually says 6 millimeters that means that this font the lowest I'd ever want to do it is 6 millimeters in height and if I hit 6 and make it smaller I can see that this font will stitch out well at that actual spacing I'm going to increase this to 0.5 millimeters with all adjust the spacing between lettering and I know that this will join closest point and it's going to stitch out and be nice and clean at that size now this is a six millimeter font if I look at this now and I take that font and let's actually use one of the other fonts and I'm just going to drop down the list and if I go to this one which is a 20 millimeter font that's telling me that there's no possible way I could run that at six millimeters I would want the minimum to be 20 millimeters and now this is actually going to so a much better let's change that to 0.5 millimeters adjust the spacing all the way in between let's do one and see how close it comes but I can adjust that to almost next to nothing so that I can go 0-2 and when I see it get very very close I can then hit the H key and I could move these letters so that they would all join closest point and then I can adjust it so I will not have any jumps or trims I can go into this and I could even put a negative value into something so I go negative 20 it will adjust everything over and make it closer together so you can go in and adjust whatever you want you can go into your lettering and choose any lettering you want and very very quickly preview whatever the lettering is going to look like based on whichever font that you choose so it makes it very very convenient to choose the fonts that you're looking for now I'm going to actually just erase all of those letters let's hit the enter key now there's nothing there and I'm going to show you when I go to the bottom of my font list we do have a bunch of fonts that we call elements and they would be right before you get to your TrueType fonts we have true type fonts where the software will automatically try to digitize a true fight font but if you look at the elements they always have a capital letter Z and a lowercase Z and then they continue on with the name of the actual element now the reason why is if I choose my medieval elements I don't have any letters chosen because this is not actually a letter it is an object that has been assigned a letter so what I have to do is I'm going to change this to a minimum of 50 millimeters I'm going to go to insert character and it will show me all of the elements that I've created for this actual you know font and I'm going to choose the letter Q hit OK and I can see now that it's inserted the object and as I make it bigger I can see that it will resize this is not a regular letter q this is a beautiful object that has been assigned the letter Q and the best part is no matter how big I make this if I want to make this actually let's go 200 millimeters and hit the okay button I now have a gigantic file and I can go into my tatami stitches and I can change that to a rope effect fill and have an incredibly beautifully sewn doubt design and put some text on the inside of that object and it gives me something that is completely unique compared to just a regular old font now the other great thing that you have to remember with regards to your monograms is that every font that you have built into the software automatically becomes a monogram we have different styles where you can literally just click on the style and I'll automatically change the layout to whatever monogram choice you want so and then I can actually come in and change which ever font I want so you really have no limitations to the types of monograms that you can actually create with this design you know I can go in and I can add ornaments to this if I want to add an ornament I can very quickly go to add from motifs I can grab a motif I can bring it into the design and I can then tell it how I want the actual motifs to be placed in the design and then I can go in and hit my H key on my keyboard and that will allow me to go in and change all of the values of this so that it will actually lay it out and I won't have to worry about positioning so there's just so many things that you can actually do I can add different motifs at the click of a button within my settings and make this as personalized as I want I can add borders in the same way just add whatever borders I want as well as defined shape so if I want to actually add a you know defined shape that's already in there there are actually all kinds of different styles to choose from and at the click of a button I can come in here and I can change the font style to whatever font I want and I can also change whatever you know letters style nothing actually is limited and because it is in wireframe mode I can actually move all the independent letters and I still have the ability to edit all of the objects and customize them however I want there's really nothing that comes close to the power of an e SI font and the customizer software now that you've seen how easy the software is to navigate how you can bring in designs and merge them with lettering and create custom monograms the only thing you need to know how to do is how to output the designs properly now if you go to your output designs you can always hit the auto start and end point which will give you Center Center or you can control where you start and where you stop the designs but if I click on save design saving design will always save my native EMB file format and this is the file format that I'll want to save because it'll allow me to change anything you know the click of a button so it's like keeping the original information there and if I want to change this lettering to a different font or to three different letters I don't have to start from scratch it's already there but when I go to export design this is where after I've saved my working file this is where I'd want to choose whichever file format it is for my machine and I'll save it so that I can actually put it on to my machine now I also have the ability to transfer design files and this will actually allow you to transfer directly to a machine that you can connect your computer to it varies on the machine brand you have we also have print previews print designs and you can capture simulated bitmaps of the actual designs themselves so there's just so many things to play with Hach is an incredibly you know easy user-friendly program and I know you're gonna have a great
