H-MART vs. ALL YOU CAN EAT Korean BBQ in New York

[Music] about a year of dried foods because uh about a year ago when this pandemic first started i thought the world's going to end so food review later on dry food that last 25 years [Music] what the heck is this oh it looks like a dessert hot pot with boba well little bitty pearls we'll come back and check that place out you know what the greatest thing about being a grown-up is besides you know the whole living on your own no bedtime stuff it's the fact that i can have dessert for breakfast are we eating pizza what is this crab meat avocado pizza what is this sandwich people go getting we got taco yucky for breakfast how to plant rose green milk tea that's really popular that looks that looks really good you guys remember sophie right she's actually helping pull my apartment together yes i am all right trust me right guys what's up all right it is good right i'm excited about this potted plant roast milk tea this looks beautiful oh this is good yeah oh get this when you're here this is delicious what's the thought behind the takoyaki here let me see it's actually a good takoyaki i'm really shocked not sure i don't know well the food here is substantially better than it was before just the house my first time is good it's amazing i will come here and eat there's some takoyaki really really good and the pizza is good well the tea is excellent of course not even brown one is like very if you just want to melt in your mouth cake which is a lot of times i would very very nice a lot of people commenting last around the last video about my phone yeah it's busted up i'll tell you a story behind this so i have a crack here um and i have you know obviously shattered in the back so i do have a phone phone case i don't even know why i have it i should tell you guys what brand the case this is because don't ever get it i had the case on here look at look how busted it is i had the case on here and i dropped it and the case didn't shatter the phone shatter so basically my phone protected the case i don't even know why i have the case on still i like that like uh i just don't i just don't want to like touch the back in case i get cut up or something but interesting to see what uh all you can eat korean barbecue is like nowadays are they gonna cook it in front of you i don't know like everything has to be outside right so i hope like we get a pot outside or something okay so they got all the outdoor seating set setup they got a tent in case it rains i think it's supposed to rain a little bit today oh that's theirs too we got a lot of spots are we grilling here or what just go wheat cooking inside oh you guys cook it inside and you bring the cooked meat outside how much does the dinner menu like 20 28 95 28.95 lunch menu is 18. well that's not much of a difference okay so this is cool they'll let you do the dinner menu or the lunch menu and they cook it inside i guess so you order from the menu itself and then they cook it inside and bring out so you don't get it to cook your meat anymore which honestly that's kind of a big part of korean barbecue but i mean it is what it is right now i think lunch menu has pretty much i don't want the squid i don't need that squid yeah let's do the lunch menu yeah thank you for belly and let's do thin brisket and then after one or more okay all right thank you so the lunch menu and the dinner means difference is ten dollars honestly like unless you want a steak i would just do the lunch menu pretty affordable and got the bottled water okay here's a little punch on bean sauce salt and pepper so jimmy's going to show me the kitchen of uh how they're cooking the barbecues now oh that smells good oh you're using real charcoal oh that smells great [Music] wow this looks so fatty and delicious look at this a good brisket honestly it has to have a good amount of fat and this thing 100 dust and i'm going to tell them to cook it more char next time for us and all you got to do a little bit of sesame oil salt and pepper it's all this thing needs oh you can taste the smoke they used cherry wood yeah and they use charcoal so you can it's way smokier than their regular iron grill what do you think nice very nice smoky flavors girl right it adds a really nice touch different than other korean barbecues no they have one in jersey where they cook outside so you're lucky you can you can go there [Music] this is the pork belly that's good you can taste more of the charred flavor on the pork pork belly little fermented bean paste jalapeno onions for a little crunch raw garlic exist in the h-mart in new york this is so great it just goes by pound all right all you can eat korean bbq part two right now actually i think i might have actually cut in line so i'm gonna get this for now i'll come back i think this is the same stuff as you as you want to get over there this hmart is really all about the meat about the punch on this here pickle jalapeno love this pig's feeds dumplings [Music] the reason i got so much meat is because i'm hosting a korean barbecue party later it's for myself you know trying to feel a little happier throw myself a little korean barbecue party try sometime wow this is the good stuff the thin slice oh kobe beef wow you know what choice meat with this marbling that's pretty good [Music] this is a good hmr that whole select your own barbecue meat station buffet thing that was rejuvenating that was like like a rejuvenating shopping experience i mean it gets packed in there but i don't know something about choosing the different types of me like i i know i can buy a package but pointing and getting what i want that's what korean bbq is all about all right let's go home and eat dinner [Music] h more korean barbecue meal i don't even know what it starts the beef short ribs oh this is great the garlic beef short ribs some thin brisket by the way if you don't have like a massively long chopstick it's super helpful especially when you're trying to eat cheetos from one of those massive bags no orange fingers oh look at the marbling on this baby pork belly it's a little bit of everything oh marinated pork belly make room for this i'm like a dumper when it comes to hot so i want everything in my pot i feel like i'm the same way when it comes to korean bbq i want as much on the grill as humanly possible and i'll just figure the rest out later again love the fact that i don't have to worry about a smoke detector going off [Music] this must get bunch on any korean supermarket so you have to eat korean barbecue with some cold noodles take some meat a little seasoning oil salt and pepper you like the korean spiderman and just wrap it with the noodles got marinated beef that's remarkable hmr bbq meat so far so great trying to find a piece of that garlic short rib which i think this is you don't even need to go to a korean bbq just get yourself a big martha a bunch of barbecue meat pork belly for the absolute win wow this marinade this is better than a lot of korean barbecue places i've been to most meat quality once you know what to get it becomes pretty much the same but the marinade is different that's what really starts setting places apart and hmar marinade go hmart i mean definitely still go out and support your local korean bbq but when you want to just stay home with a bunch of friends and just feast not much beats dish anyway what i'm trying to tell you guys is i have pretty much my next two weeks planned out but after that i have no idea what's going on but whatever it is wherever i go whatever i'm doing we'll do it together but today very very very very happy day i'll be eating korean bbq for the next week that's my whole plan i'm gonna stay in my house in the woods not go out for the next week and just pound down korean barbecue this is what i do when i miss korea south not north i want to make that clear and as always guys if you want me to shout out somebody
