All You Can Eat KFC CHICKEN BUFFET in Tokyo Japan 5 HOUR WAIT! WORST Buffet Ever?!

[Music] good morning from a sunny day here in Tokyo look at this sunshine in not a cloud in the sky slight breeze blowing really nice day just kind of lounge around you know go to a park take a nap or something so I figured before my nap I'm gonna go eat something that's really gonna put me in the mood to sleep for me that's definitely fried chicken I heard about this whole you can't eat Kentucky Fried Chicken buffet I opened up in Tokyo so that's where we hit it now it's a little far but we'll work up an appetite [Music] [Music] okay I think I hit a snafu I somehow stain on the local train and now I'm gonna be like 30 minutes late for the buffet and I hate keeping the colonel waiting this is a problem might not be a see when I get there [Music] [Music] welcome to Granberry park this is a massive outlet malls about an hour from central Tokyo so here there's hundreds of stores huge rock-climbing wall there's movie theaters it's like a really huge mall and this is where the colonel decided to open is all you can eat KFC buffet and apparently what I heard I supposed to get here really early and they're giving out tickets so they will give out tickets for lunch and tickets for dinner odd friends who showed up around the time I'm showing up now and couldn't even get tickets for dinners about 11 o'clock a.m. I was a little late that I was trying to get here by 10:00 so we'll see if we can still get it alright this place is so massive okay we are here in KFC oh man so I think a lot of stores not open yet it's pretty isolated here seriously it's kind of freaky nobody here knew this means less competition for the chicken but then like not even Starbucks is open look what if the Colonel's taking a day off today that'd be horrible all right I found the KFC unfortunately and it is so closed this is open but it's not I don't think today's a holiday it's just a Tuesday and I read that the mall is closed on Tuesday but it said the KFC was alright this is something that sometimes happens when I'm filming videos it's just this is a disappointed side of food vlogging come all the way here one our trip to a closed KFC I'm honestly so depressed I don't even know where to go right now my whole day was predicated on eating fried chicken first everyday I allocate enough energy to get to a food place I'm like a Tesla car you know trying to get to the next charging station so I can go further this charging station differently is located in the ghost mall look at this all lies none of these are open but they say they're open don't trust Google I might notice it's actually nighttime now so what transpired after the KFC incident it will forever be known as the KFC disappointment incident of 2020 so what happened was after that went back home had some food in my fridge I just ate and I fell asleep because I could get up really early this morning to do some work in it there's a lot of traveling so right now I'm at the neighborhood of Iike kobato and I found this place supposedly serves authentic Shyam food and right now after a long day I just I need something holy no any you're like good whole noodles like with that with a nice juicy pork bun that's what I need right here she on pork burger look I know then you don't from anywhere beyond beyond you know cold wheat noodle all the food from my home town of Xian oh man the pictures look authentic definitely getting the pork bun get it on the aunty cold-read noodles heck yeah on the Bambi on for sure oops tofu get some of that man salsa man that's a classic it's pretty cool people here speak Mandarin actually the dialogue from my promise look at the empty down there old Yama do you guys so it's awesome yeah kinda come back come back there they're like a washing bar partial me this looks really good big pieces of gluten chili oil cucumbers Brow's sesame sauce right on top of these cold noodles I'll set at the bun nice and crispy inside oh that is some sweltering wedding Shushi looking at pork belly you grab this you can push it down a little bit so all that shoes gets into the bun this is the Giambi on you at all it all looks good an authentic plenty of chilies in here that's really go crispy fun howdy juicy pork on the inside [Music] dumpy us nice too a nice chew to it spicy even agreeing dip the pork burger into soft really authentic place table dumbbell noodles excellent Lampeter soup dan is a taste of home we gotta look for the chewiness of the Peter the Great lamb soup flavor this thing has all that I just wish to have some pickled garlic ham but some of the most authentic she um food also that she owns please really good weird I was asking him like is this good he's like no sucks now I was thinking like oh he's just being honest and then I asked some another additional how's this dish is like nice x2 and finally I'm like so what's good here he's like yeah everything sucks so skill in there and get the belly on your doll pork bun those are two best things in now alright this is all you can eat KFC buffet attempt to two things are open oh thank god I don't know if I could take one more trip took so long to get here hour and a half from central Tokyo now biggest worry is can we get a seat this is about ten o'clock in the morning on a weekday it's already pretty cool people actually let you take canoes out for a spin okay there it is before is opening so we're gonna go into gonna get a try to get a number for lunch Oh eighty-six groups ahead of me 87 that sucks so much okay so it looks like you can get in for your top 25 getting any 11 so I can get in at oh my god getting it about 3:30 and if you're under a hundred that's there's no way oh Jesus this is crazy maybe 70 so I got him okay so I have about five hours to kill five hours to wait for a chaos can't believe this is even happening right now feel like I'm in some kind of twisted kernels fantasy where people are waiting five hours for his chicken I better be some darn good chicken buffet let's go look for other stuff to you for now at least like when I'm waiting for the robbing for five hours I know what I'm getting delicious amazing best ramen in Japan so I'm just waiting for chicken like oh you can't eat chicken this is kind of cool I don't know if it's worth five hours I'll let you know that check out this cool Sega arcade oh wow this is all VRS this is part of the arcade you can just like come here and fix your hair whoa a Snoopy museum that's just peanuts I really want something to eat I don't know what this thing looks all right this set to take a call Japan is like the only place in the world I would ever leave all this stuff just laying on my table and I'm pretty sure like 99% certain nothing's gonna happen till I'm gone got no fear of losing anything in this country that's why it loves so much about being here like you don't have to be concerned about not saying you shouldn't take precaution but like at least I feel like in this country hopefully have to be concerned about losing much you know people find out Wallis stuff with cash I'll return it to the police station [Music] Roger doesn't look half bad this will be the first time ever in Japan that I'm ordering something that's now Wagyu this is American ribeye how that killing my steaks sizzle looks pretty juicy I mean little overcooked actually a lot overcooked they really give you rice with everything huh this is my little snack before my KFC buffet which actually I think I'm gonna be able to eat way before 3:30 it's already about 27 people down it's only about 11:10 and I looked at the area that thing can see way more than 100 but just in case I was skeptical what this really is not bad it's not obviously as tender as Ryu and I really don't think I should have been in a sizzling pan look how overdone this is I mean this became cook really quickly I think this pan was the villain here even though the sizzle is nice kind of ruined a steak the first fight was all right already the second by sitting on this hot pan is horrible it's sad when you're eating steak that the best thing on the plate is your corn I mean there's still a couple pieces that look kind of okay like that hasn't touched the grill all right that's good you know the Holy Grail that gives life this is the unholy plate that takes life away from steaks that even take that long I only smell like I don't want to say how much mmm I bet that's back for me well it's KFC they think this whole day just to wash right so the buffet is limited to 80 minutes hour and 20 minutes about $20 and you can also do all you can shrink for additional $12 for alcohol my number is finally up in a good way okay okay thank you thank you thank you so this is how long I have 80 minutes let's go check this buffet out buzzer section all right panna cotta some jello fresh fruits and here's the stuff right chicken a lot of it all you canes salad bar this will be very much ignored right here all of you guys especially you Oh garlic bread soft serve ice cream coffee hot chocolate I don't know why this is here why do you please okay oh the reason why there's rice because they give you curry they hit the chicken right away thinking that the crispier pieces are in the back I love myself some breasts get a wing maybe up I go start with three pieces biscuits we go just keep gonna take a little bit of this garlic fried rice there's some lemon soda is awesome round one all you can eat KFC parfait here in Tokyo let's go chopsticks at a KFC first time I've ever seen that the chicken alright this is not crispy at all like zero lunch on the skin nothing like okay there's a little crunch we have stuck crunch tiny a little bit of crunch you see how soggy the skin is breast meat again really really soggy lettuce appear juicy though favorites but minutes drive oh man Colonel what have you done it this is a really interesting like rapey multi-layer biscuit they got going on here this thing tastes way healthier then we get back in the states it's still a little buttery but I'm tasting the health benefits here I thought this would die but I should have small breasts the outer layer this is kind of greasy and juicy i gosh see how the inside it's like staring into my dad's eyes when he's watching Forrest Gump it's dry I saved a wing and the leg is any better not really I mean the flavor is better because there's less me so the spices are oh but again to it but the meeting the chicken let's eat really try the wings is the best part just come and get a bunch of wings the color Christ is decent but again there is this humming theme of just dryness I really wish this KFC my mashed potatoes and gravy if I would have just like doused my biscuits a my rice and like grainy I think that would at least saved us a little bit right now it's just horrible you know colonel with his herbs and spices and whatever he does do a good job seasoning the chicken naturally this back part behind the breast when it's actually juicy listen good piece of chicken [Music] [Music] geez that has some potential I'm not really sure what this is but it feels very crispy don't be like a like a piece of shrimp or something oh it's a chicken finger I thought was a shrimp because I thought this was the tail well this is just extra crunch apparently but it's probably the best piece of chicken I put in my mouth to that it's actually mushy a little bit consistently crunchy but still pushing its whitening and although it's not the true sister there's pretty tender kill my expectations has gradually been lowered but that's actually not a bad piece of chicken and that gets a little toefl II doesn't actually taste like chicken who surprisingly like this this pasta is cooked very well and actually help the ant ain't got a good chew to it and that thing is packing geez oh I think would be very comfortable living in Texas ah as a first bolt of excitement my taste buds got all day and this curry is so with flavors okay I think it's buttered me mix the flavors put the curry some of this spicy pasta I do want to say about the pasta is that besides the spice in the tomato you really don't taste much I'm just struggling to find things I love right now that's a very confusing meatball it tastes like a cross between like something subway would make and something KFC what make if you can imagine that at all well they do well is like the pastas cooked well the rice is cooked well but it's kind of lacking flavor but the chicken it has the flavor it doesn't have the juiciness nor the texture all right let's go from that around that is a lot of grass oh that's some french toast this [Music] I know some of that dark meat that they stir-fry with potatoes and green beans and I got it as soon as they brought it out we've been before they're sitting on into the buffet meal and by that I mean I think was do a try on a rival IV in the garlic bread when it was rush just whatever really good mmm Wow gotta give him credit on the French toast this is the best thing I had in the menu like by far chewy sweet shopped in the middle Kanye outside mmm leaving the curls are just focus on breakfast I'm gonna give this buffet the benefit of the doubt I'm gonna go wait there I'll tell like a fresh batch of chicken comes in we're gonna taste that and see how it is [Music] all right fresh batch of chicken literally they just put this on the buffet you could sleep on doesn't be pretty comfortable because it is that soft nothing crispy even remotely crispy about this this is the fresh chicken leg in the skin as you can see very soft very moist I think at least this thing will be juicy that's kind of what I'm hoping for you well it's juicy era Curtis shop this KFC should never have known is yummy I appreciate the 11 herbs and spices and all that stuff but they might as well call this kentucky boiled chicken this piece was juicy Elizabeth juicy these I bit into today look at that there we go that's the yummy flow of liquid finally had a piece of fried chicken that's Ashley not try I appreciate juicy piece of chicken more than I Capri she ate a crispy piece of chicken if I had to choose between one or the other they're so weird because it's bitter mich how the chickens doing different workout routines in the oven or something like some are coming out way more juiced up than the other I understand right this is this is really dry and they will try some of the Colonel's dessert and we're gonna get out of here [Music] the Strawberry Shortcake is okay nothing mind-blowing good cake it's whipped cream and strawberries thank God for their saving grace of this panna cotta I thought I was about to walk out of this buffet with his best item being a French toast this is good I think this is more about putting actually that is something I would love anywhere at any restaurant and it's mind boggling because everything else is just so bad strawberry panna cotta this is really good too this is the kind of stuff you expect in Japan you know so smooth so creaming this KFC should just like turn around and just sell desserts with everything else being so underwhelming I'm glad we ended up as sort of a high note okay I gotta get out of here because still hungry I don't want anymore that chicken let's go find some real food huh finally back in Shinjuku y'all let's go get something really good eats [Music] here it is tokyo group of soba which literally means oil noodles been actually found this place last time he was here with me and he wasn't here that many day so he didn't want to repeat meals but he had to eat here multiple times because he said it was that good see like even dumbed it down for me supposed to get this and that these are instructions on how to get the needle so you take the noodles you put in hot oil and vinegar just here which is here and here and then you can add that too and for the big portion you mix it three times smaller portion elicit two times this Ranma even though it's oil ramen it's actually got like only two thirds of the amount of calories as regular why because doesn't have that much salt in there now apparently this is actually kind of healthy for you [Music] for this entire day actually I was waiting for good fried chicken but and they really happen oh yeah that is so pretty add the vinegar and then chili oil oil or palm oil let's go for some extra heat here there's some scallions crushed sesame here is the cha shrew really really mean so stir it three times I might not be able to get this right 1y this is really hard this is some intense looking fake noodles call this smells so ridiculous it smells like a big bowl very good chili oil this is awesome I add a so much spice in here this is the perfect spice level for me this would be like the equivalent of a Taco Bell fire sauce times a hundred mmm Joshua although lean his tender he's got a nice clean pork flavor I see what Ben's talking about now no this tastes like just like a Chinese your poor man the Chinese be imbued off that I teach you guys how to make on The Cooking Channel where you pour the chilies and the garlic and scallions and you pour hot oil all over it basically chili oil noodles that's exactly what this tastes like the noodles aren't I'm amazing it's got that incredibly addictive oily flavor it's a premiere because of the eggs and what I love about this is that the sauce it cold it's the entire length of the middle so you're getting like a uniform I see many really spicy Oh fire a type of bite with air every single mouthful noodles you take it in between a heat I get that little crunch of sesame little snap of scallions in the oil although it's coal oil noodle the oil is now gonna be too much I will put this on my must try list I wanted to talk about the KFC but favorite is a second first of all I knew it wasn't gonna be the greatest name because as a KFC buffet by the same time I remember back when I was going to college in Kirksville Missouri and Truman State the local KFC had a buffet in every Sunday with the cafeteria the school were closed we would all go to this buffet I think it was like five dollars a person oh you can get fried chicken in chicken livers mashed potatoes gravy clothes long and it was amazing so I think I had that kind of nostalgic reminisce and thought in my mind but this buffet just a hot mess I mean if it was local everywhere in Tokyo I don't think it'd be a big deal because all right you spend 10 minutes to get there it wasn't that good the end touch thing is like an hour and a half from the city not only that I've dated five hours last time I went in five hours it was for the best ramen in Japan and I happily waited I can't believe people went we'll wait this long for this buffet and of course of course I wanted to review it I wanted to film myself I was happy to wait and try it out in let you guys know how it was conclusion super underwhelming the chicken feel like it wasn't a fly like were they really in a fryer where were they in some kind of oily sauna the heat of the oil obviously wasn't high enough skin was so soggy even from a freshly fried piece of chicken best thing was the dessert and the French toast which come on I want a really good dessert I'll go to local 7-eleven with the local awesome it was over $20 for the book bottom line if you really want to go go try it out for yourself but my recommendation is don't waste your time don't go the whole place is really fun I mean you should go and have fun at the mall that's week five you do not need to wait five hours it's gonna have a fit this right here yeah best thing I had today if I waited five hours for this I would be happier I will be more satisfied I will be more content sorry Colonel I think you really flopped on this one it was a clucking bad job too persistent enough why basically it wasn't always cracked up to be so there you go guys that's my review of the all you can
