GSC vs Necrons: Warhammer 40k Battle Report 8-26-23 Leviathan Mission

[Music] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Music] we've got a uh this my name the strategist verse the necron extraordinaire and uh so we're uh we're using uh we're gonna be having a cool little game for you guys today to top tier armies uh we're using rbbr terrain if you guys like this we make this in-house and we uh we do sell the sets so if you ever watched the video and be like oh they got some nice terrain you want some uh hit us up on our Facebook um uh or our YouTube channel really um we're for the terrain a couple specifications see any of the floors of the ruins so they're all blocked so you have to be outside if you want to be able to shoot through crates here that are placed uh here and here the gaps you can see between they're supposed to be craters that matched up next to each other so I mean a craters great that are supposed to be right up against each other so you uh so we can't see through those gaps and then uh today we're playing ritual Mission we have uh the Special Rule what's the special rule uh which one oh uh Scrambler feel yes and Scrambler Fields is a cool one because you're going to be placing objectives uh or the ritual this is yeah this is extra CP to re-roll if you want to re-roll and then also if you get another secondary um if you want to discard your secondary you get uh the ritual as you can see it only starts with a couple objectives on the field we have one here and I'm going to actually uh this see it a little better on the Stream and then so we have middle uh home objective and homework right now and then we'll be placing objectives through uh so uh I'm playing the GSC uh one of the top tier armies they're not winning a lot of major events because of Eldar right now um they've Eldar like oh hey here's 24 mortal wins good luck with that uh but we're playing two top tier armies for you guys to hit each other on the table top and probably going to be a pretty high scoring game and I'm very excited to see it um I'll go over my list in a second and what what do you I will be playing the golden necrons at the orusgar dynasty oh indeed uh necrons are very scary right now and it's he's kind of bringing something away from the medal list I know everyone's bringing two units of Lich guard thank you sorry but um every you know I don't I don't think that's the only way to play them I like personally 20 and Blobs of Warriors Gotta Love The Warriors instead of two 20 man blobs I'll actually be rocking a 10-man Blog of Immortals to try a theory that I'm hoping to test here on yeah and they are basically just as tough they don't reanimate quite as well but they're just as tough and they do better in shooting they're tougher bodies they're higher saves the addition to cover they could be really long-standing and um why I'll be rocking hyper hyper material blader with that Squad as well giving them negative one yeah that's nasty that's like giving them a little bit extra survivability um if I'm not mistaken you're also running 10 Lich guard are you uh negative I will not be running with cards I thought I saw that new Transcendent Katan that's what it is ouch does one of them have the subturnal weave absolutely who would not run that honest four plus you know pain on the Transcendence tan and they reanimate correct which uh I mean thank you Games Workshop for that yeah thank you guys thank you so much I thought they were good before and now wow yeah ridiculous now so uh before we get going into Army list we can explain to you guys how it works and all that right after this but before we do that we'd like to played a practice game before he crushed my dark angel pretty easily the lion the lion stayed alive so a big shout out can't do it without you guys like share um comment if you can help us algorithm a want to do before we start deployment for you guys sorry we're a little behind schedule we don't have our official producer Johnny to like crack the whip and make start on time so uh with that 30 minutes behind schedule is not too bad for me uh if you know me that's if you know me you know me um so we're gonna go right into Army list so why don't you kind of go over what you got and on your table okay sure uh I'll be bringing the uh 20-man warriors with the 24 inch rapid-fire weapon uh they'll be backed up with an Overlord and also they'll be backed up with Oreck in the diviner and two crypto thoughts I figured I would try a four-up involent on our Warriors and see how they did in combat they'll also be backed up by a ghost Arc with a technomancer embarked I'll have a 10-man squad of Immortals with the Tesla carbines with nimisar zendrick and a plasmancer also rocking the plasma answer will be rocking that hyper material blader that I talked about I'll be rocking three amphibian Destroyers with a an optic plasma site two squads of five death marks I'll be rocking two three animators Coptic reanimators and uh two Transcendent Catans one of them with the uh the the saturna weave and can you imagine I can't believe it works on that's why man this one's back looks more than ever that's my opinion that if you really want the the Warriors somewhat Immortal that they need to have the uh the orb so you need to have a lord or an Overlord with the orb and they absolutely have that go start that goes dark is extremely powerful behind it uh or in front of a group of Warriors it's just crazy when they get on an objective they're almost unkillable yeah uh let's uh is that all your on your list I know that that was a lot I don't I don't want there to be he did he said the two translations I will actually be screening like I usually do two single man squads of locust destroyers there you go they're just a great screen for 30 points I do believe they're the cheapest screen our army has so if you use them properly item they screen oh oh oh Johnny says hello hey he's uh he's here he's always looking and uh JV says what up gentlemen hey Dad love you thank you for watching and we appreciate the comment that'll give us a roll in here so we'll go over my list uh so I have uh Alkali iron Ward he's cool because once per game I can move a blimp if he uh threatens it um I have a bio uh Haley's gonna be attached sorry the uh Alkali iron Ward will probably attached to alkalites but that'll happen in battle formation stuff we have the uh biophages with the inscrutable cunning we got the clamavis uh which is awesome denial got two nexo some two Primus um there will be accompanying some major Babylon troops as far as battle line troops go we got 45 alkalite hybrids four units of ten with full demolition charges and flamers and then the five man also a couple demolition charges and flamers then we have three squads of 20 no fights with seismic cannons and flamers they're very good at OverWatch and they're very good at shooting and then we have the 10 man aberrant Squad which will be equal trading just nine inches from your deployment Zone with the uh with our boy uh the biophages attached and then we have a pure string five man also infiltrating they're just there to like reach out probably put an objective out first or something prankster thank you hey I like your uh I like your hashtag he says howdy all and I appreciate you play with prankster all the time that guy's a real game he is uh he's a GTA master watch out if you ever come on all right so uh that rounds out my list and um we will see what we have in store for the necron so um Defender starts deployment so I'm going to uh start deployment uh wait battle formation step correct I so let's start with battle formations for the defender I'm going to attach the biophages to the aberrant I'm going to attach one access to a 10-man alkaline Squat and then the other uh other two will be in Primus in a neophyte Primus and a neophyte just roll their failed hits one of those fight squads attached to so um and then the clam of this is going to be hard to choose you don't have an indirect fire negative so I don't usually do this I'm going to put them in a five-man alkaloid Squad usually I put them in something that can't be like hit or down by direct fire but this game's getting crazy with indirect fire I've been playing monoguard a lot of Eldar online on CBS just annihilate the things they don't need if I can actually hide from you I'll put a five-man go ahead don't hide so uh dude what are you attaching yeah I think you already went over it yes um I'll be rocking uh Oregon the diviner with my 20-man uh Warrior Squad to give them a four-up uh involve I'll be rocking an Overlord with that Squad with the orb um I will be attaching nimasar's in direct to the 10 Mana mortal Squad and a plasmancer to cause those Tesla's hit on a five instead of six so um I'm hoping that spicy combo will I'll get to show it off here in a little bit uh and the technomancer is technically not attached to Squad he'll just riding in my go start cool cool um uh do you uh what do you got crypto throws I do of course I mean or can the diviner needs those crypto girls and the biner is hanging out with the crypto for all so that's what I mean if you take an origin take the crypto thralls with them yeah personally I'm taking I always take three squads of crypto Thrones now anything I want to survive a little extra long because they reanimate with the squad itself they're almost yeah they make a squad ridiculously resilient awesome let's get into it so deployment um so I start deployment um I will start with the fatty unit of aberrance put them up here of if I can see your deployment Edge that'll be my first deploy the uh torqua Prime awesome so just so everyone can see the deployment I go from the halfway mark here this corner I'll mark this out with dice but um for a movie setting up so aberrance Muscle Beach they always start me off right 22 from here I'm just going off of your dice that's how close I am one two you said 22 half the board oh that's right on the money man beautiful all right so we are gonna put the bio five D4 station there little D4 station a little bit you know one thing about GSC I've been playing them since the beginning and I still have a hard time finding my models because they all look so similar I mean you have more than 100 bodies in there too so only 127 where's Waldo where's Wala so Muscle Beach out of my deployment Zone but they're gonna threaten this whole Corner probably bring up a uh they're just gonna bring up a uh objective they're fully protected by loss oh they're just Gonna Fill back here this is 450 points actually foreign yes they are they're working out as completely terrifying Squad to be honest all right Muscle Beach in this building here that's my first deployment uh I will uh this deep strike count as an appointment no you just put them in so that's in battle formation step and that's a good point we didn't actually have to clear that so I'll just be declaring that uh both my five-man squad snipers will be in perfect and me as far as I go um we're going to put all three of the neophyte squads in deep strike and then um we're gonna put I believe I can put two 10-man alkalite squads also in deep strike let me double check the points real quick I mean in the sewers uh and uh yeah they they under strike they yeah they deep strike but yeah they uh they do their thing I'll be putting a canopic reanimator right here in this to hide so I was actually schooled on this so I thought we can only have 500 points in reserve but it's actually 500 points in strategic Reserve up to a thousand points I never realized that and I was like okay well that means we can put a lot more in so there's a 50 of your army fifty percent ten thousand points exactly and you're dead on and I was I've got that wrong on the last Stream So I had a bunch of stuff on the board like I didn't so we have 450 points there and then 480 points there so I'm gonna have to put 110 man out on the board so I have two 10-man alkalite squads in um D strike and then three neophytes uh squads did you put out your first unit yes I did awesome optic a reanimator number one awesome going to now when it comes to my deployment I like to put single units out first most of the time it's my screening units so that I can see where I need to defensively put my larger units I do the same but with all Traders so I always put my infiltrator so according to Scrambler Fields they can't be on an objective in no man's land so oh is that I didn't see that part of it Top Line a player with infiltrator building cannot be set up in the objective Zone uh no man's land and you hear your opponent's still on the Zone players with Scout ability make a move first turn be oh this is not Scrambler Fields is not the plus one CP um sorry guys quick Amendment um in this Mission um so I can't infiltrate on the objectives so I got to be like right behind it and then like if I deep strike I can't land on an objective actually this is a big one PSC um in no man's land I could land on my objective if I want when you come off an ambush marker does it count as deep Dragon uh well um no because Ambush is just being set up on the board but usually I pick them up off out off the field and try again do that uh to do yeah just can't be on any objectives so that's fortunate but we do so it's one CP to reroll so we know that's not part of this cool okay uh that's my second unit here I'll just Trail on this objective like I said single units I'll be using this as a screen in this corner perfect Locus Destroyer all right I'll do five alkalites with my uh iron Ward this is the guy that can um pick up a blimp if you threaten it do I'm good to go five man little Squad all right my brand new unit my newest guys I'm so very very happy about transcend kitten uh let's see they are beautiful but one now this will be the naked 10 man I can't tell uh you know everyone kind of hopes that the dice will even give them first or second turn I can't tell which one I want I can't tell but then again like I get to choose when you're rolling a vaccine hey thank you Matt larkinson says go get them boys and hey we're uh we're gonna get them I will definitely be doing my best Mr Larkin can I catch some butt and also have some fun all right that's my squad down hey uh except for that character second Transcendent Katan sure wow pushing art on that right side of the board I might have to redirect 10 man five man this might sound weird but I think I'm done deploying that's a thousand points on the board because they're 500. oh that is wild hey so you deployed it's all faster than me and I can redeploy three units uh oh yeah so you can redeploy all of them so if you try to push too hard here I can read this demo over here that's fine your your redeployment shenanigans isn't what scares me beautiful the golden is perfect fine little dark uh this uh got purple aberrance here with the biofaga so this this might be uh makeshift but I think it's incredibly important when fighting someone like the gene Steelers to have yourself something to measure unit coherency if you can maximize how far apart they're going to be to screen yeah uh mad Larkin says Barry GSC of you yes yes we're going to be pumping out of tunnels and guessing all over them excited this is only my The Observer to the middle there your seventh game which you guys see this Edition that they've been very like I've been happy to play with what happened but what their play style is yeah yeah they are pretty amazing I do love their gimmick Viva love resistance love resistance uh the fact that they are a precursor to a tyranid tendril incoming to Devour the planet is also quite terrifying in its own right so I'm just spreading out as much as I possibly can here to screen as they move forward a slow delicious brick of necron I mean um brick of necrons oh you don't know man yeah you've ever you know some metals taste faulty don't know until you try that's what we're doing that'll be uh my stand-in for work in the diviner that's that's palatable for you so things to keep in mind when doing this I can do strike three I know and the Nexus lets me do it so I could do I can do the one unit with the CP and then I can do a free uh Strat with the Nexus that's what I'll be trying to utilize today I've been I've been kind of going back and forth I put both my nexuses in both neophyte squads to boost them um and it's uh good they also allow you to move a an objective marker correct uh yeah you know as they say uh everyone has a plan until they get hit yeah so everything is subject to change I know they're uh one of my favorite MMA fighters Matt Hughes uh he said uh because everyone's a black belt until they're punched in the face because every he's okay he was beating all these black belt Jiu Jitsu guys and I'm a jiu jitsu guys so it's like he's just a hardcore wrestler left beat em up guy and uh he's like oh how do you expect to beat him on the ground he's like well everyone's a black belt so thank you and they a brown belt punch him harder and then they're Bluebell like so funny the theory behind that it's like yep that's not going your way I definitely see uh so let's see I'm very curious these necrons they'll uh on this board man hey look yes in uh playing them conservatively because I've never fought GSC so it's a good call grab the model count again though um so you got the guy in the vehicle and two squads in deep strike and then we're ready to run ready to go oh we got another uh oh awesome light stepper um hey I appreciate the shout out earlier and definitely excited to check out the stream really appreciate you looking in we're gonna we're gonna get going for you here let's do uh this one's for lightstepper here it's nice uh I'm rolling on the black dice for the PSC for light step or three golden dice for the necrons thank you pepper thank you um all right so oh and my redeploy happens before roll to see who goes first so um that was I should have done it I was keeping my deployment I should have said that but at the stream now all right so let's get into it so first turn command phase we do the stuff for the secondaries let me Shuffle and then I'll have you uh cut the you shuffled that's good enough for me I'll go ahead and cut them your tape measure Johnny Johnny usually has all my stuff ready you have to do sorry guys um he's like I'll give you an army I'll make sure you have dice everything okay so all right oh if we can kill a reanimator first turn that would be both my average squads see what the average I I so my theory here guys is to try to move forward and then get the charge up onto this floor four plus five so it's a nine inch just to get to here and that's amazing 11 inch charge so that's probably not going to be worth it while you play a little conservatively you have to play I'm gonna pull an inch away from the wall backwards oh my gosh GSC backwards that's not that's not what you that and my two missions are secure wait I don't think I can do that one first time secure no man's land at the end of your turn of control two or more objectives in no man's land the secondary objective is achieved and you score five Victory so at the end of your turn you control one or more objective in no man's land uh for one more objective still achievement two VP instead of five all right so now I gotta now I gotta look at them all right it's over there so it's at the end of my turn so perform an action create an objective marker just has to land on it but then with within one end so it has to be against the walls giving him two well I could place one back here I guess that's with oh with and I thought it was out of um exactly nine from one or more objective marker not within another oh well that's I could place it here okay so it can go here so I'm gonna preemptively slapping them I don't forget oh the uh objective spells so I have to move out well actually genes those are the athletes or stuff like uh Gene Steeler pure strain perfect we're raising effective labyrinths can be more than an instrumental wall so you have to go around if you fly over the wall or whatever you raise more than one objective per turn that's what I thought only select one unit from your army eligible to shoot perfect well this is good this is actually a mission I don't play very often it's very happy to be practicing having two objectives this close is kind of wonky but hey look at this so it says it has to be exactly nine Center to Center this okay well we're all learning stuff uh everything else is actually a problem exactly where I want it uh so I'll do engage in all fronts is a rough one to pull early I don't think I can possibly so uh that's that's that I think um double check here it might get engage is easy for PSC but at the same time I just I will there's some better ones but okay so we will so that's end of movement going into La this objective down with this unit they pull back uh they stay here and I will end my turn turn one done and I will secure no man's land for Five Points so I will lay this one right here no uh and I'm Gonna Keep engaged on all front we do have an end of your turn Shenanigans with the opinion destroyers but your ability to deep strike on your next turn within three inches uh I did not I did not I don't know what toes on this one really thinking because I'll be hpsc's deep striking abilities they are Shenanigans um let's go ahead okay uh I will be actually on the end of your turn pulling my obsidian destroyers up from the field okay um they will go down in the reinforcement step of my face perfect and that's your turn into your turn into my turn I'll be rocking 2cp I'm at 2cp all right now let's think to ourselves how we deal is GSC all right yeah perfect uh first thing first thing here just Embark my technomancer we will be advancing my ghost Arc oh yeah I love it when that happened we're going 12 inches now nice enough to me onto the objective and do what I like to do with the ghost Arc make a wall my friends whoa make a wall we will be moving this reanimator into the ruins to try to be sneaky I'll be advancing my technomancer foreign treats you wrong put it back and get a different one I'll be advancing one on that giving my technomancer a move of 11 rocking that that flying cloak there oh yeah okay so as far as my secondaries go my list has been built to do one thing and one thing only well actually take that back too many things but this was the plan I'll be rocking fixed missions Behind Enemy Lines and repair teleport homers perfect fixed the whole game awesome boy teleport is that the one YouTube I can do it in the center or I can do it in on your deployment so very cool trying to take the fight to your house hop out to my house I don't have anything in my house I have very little in my house over here get out my old team full faithful we are still trying to screen because we have to be mindful of what the gene sealer Colts can do all right they have a Teleport within three inches of me they do not get to charge but they have some disgusting Firepower off of a deep strike need to absolutely be mindful of that timeline no it's Kent can he do the put a marker here they advance so they no they didn't Advance just the five inch move so I'll be doing the action with this squad here to put a marker that's at nine yes I have one little dude on the marker oh yeah um forgive me I won't be doing this very often but nimasar zendrick has a command phase ability that I will be backing up and using um so the squad now has I want to say lethal hits that is correct lethal hits for real life sort of detectives are so close I thought it had to be more than nine within nine [Music] oh at the end of our turn we set up about the end of our turn yeah but it doesn't matter they still don't shoot though right or charge or any of that shenanigans so it has to be set up within oh yeah this has to slide with okay um and then and then it can be set of exactly nine inches from another marker so it can't be uh it says we've got to get a guy with that oh okay so then so just pick him up well and then he's just a poker chip right now then I'll be advancing them I'll be advancing them okay just so yeah because you can uh I I understand but I think the yeah it doesn't I was unclear at the rule because no actions actually specify whether you Advance or no no if you advance you can't uh so you can't do an action oh okay um all right but then so then the problem is so if he was in his deployment Zone got five right and then yeah I would not I would not be able to put this due to the rules it just wouldn't happen because if I put it under my guide like you said it would then have a piece of it in my deployment Zone I think it's just the middle marker that can't find itself oh in that case you're good let's take that back pull that just pull that perfect all right well that's good for me because I actually have some guys on the board now yay uh Warhammer and all its new rules um well I don't I don't actually think so just because he only had five inches yeah I don't I don't think that he was any further than that but no it has to be okay so the whole thing was actually kitty corner as for my placement okay um and did the I will these objectives they can't within an inch of uh Rowan even though it's not in the rolls all right so so it can be inside of a rune the non-sipternal weave uh Katan will be doing his teleport Advance ability this one will move seven over here Okay so I'll just go ahead and be trying to drop myself in the force there 39 inches there good enough for me all right and same thing with these amphibian Destroyers you're getting a nine inches there all right so that'll be the end of my movement so only the guys that are within range what oh what so only the Warriors if they do an action oh they can't shoot sorry I forgot about that forgot about my action okay sometimes you get flabbergasted when you do these things lots of moving Parts lots of moving parts and so pretty much only one thing that I know that I can shoot with would be grandson and Catan so that Transcendent Katan will be shooting at that Squad there okay I think he can um yeah there's a five man and a clam of this and a 10 man and an icon iron I'm going for the icon award Squad okay so these will be normally on twos but because uh he's in the trees there it's a negative one to hit through the trees correct no no he's he's in he's inside yeah alrighty then so then on twos with uh sustained hits one and assault so I I dropped a dice but then I also pick up because of the stain hits there it's very nice we're going uh strength eight so I'm assuming it's on twos again yep absolutely on twos so that'll be all of them so you have six at negative two AP oh negative two uh with with cover so in missing North cover no okay so sixes nothing six to f uck uh so they're only one wound oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah three six it's a decent amount of shots moved our charge to a 10 inch charge all right so uh that'll be the end of my shooting phase since everything Advanced so nice the pity and destroyers will be charging that Squad there okay oh man the double ones I really want to be in there I want to be able to get but uh on the same note I have a terrifying attack coming I'm gonna spend one cp2 oh he's going for it no usually you don't want to do this on such a long charge I agree but you know it's gonna be game you also have to have a faith in faith [Music] nine I gotta I'll measure it it's uh it's not nine because they were out of nine when they deep striked and yeah from the charge yeah got it that's a loss of CP that's fine I'll get it don't get it back okay anything else any points uh you got Behind Enemy Lines got five points or two yeah I really messed up there what happened I was supposed to do an action and I shot with him and said oh deploy teleport home yeah uh oh he was supposed to do an action and then they probably would have made their attract uh so instead let's just say they did the action and you bring is that cool I mean I mean in all technicality of it I mean that would be allowing you to allow me to cheat but there's a 10 inch charges longer than this is exactly what I'm talking about when I'm talking about the Warhammer Community being very understanding and being very open on teaching players on what should and shouldn't happen and and the reasons why um I'm a man of my word I'm going to stick with it the way it is though okay it's a true Sportsman no one's ever uh no one's ever doubted it yes um so at the end of his turn though I would probably [Music] do I swoop them up no I'm okay I'm okay saving my soup so beginning of the turn and faves what kind of crazy stuff you got in store for me deck assassination oh that's not good fascination what are your character hiding amongst blobs where's the guy that was by himself he's way over here and he's a lone operative so you would have to you'd have to lose some dudes to deep strike there I will lose but you could get in there good I'm gonna try it I got assassination and I pour some points I mean my Katana characters you can charge them got a point but I'm not gonna got a point let's see oh primary um how many OCS I've only got I think three okay so I have one two objective sir I don't know what I prefer ten ten points on primary uh yeah uh six died out of the 11 though so let me go ahead and make a bowel shock test here oh just five of them but you don't get anything why am I standing on it I don't know why is it even there uh those they're good oh yeah yeah that's true I'd try to take that from you later maybe I should uh should have knowing this was worth zero maybe I should have done uh yeah I mean I'll leave it as I just feel bad for going back when he you didn't go back I'm not going back that's how the topic we all make mistakes even as generals all make General mistakes hahaha you get it okay here we have the Observer watching the game because my neck are on Primark uh torque of prime the overscar dynasty the only known Primark of the necrons here yes the golden skull the golden one is the same also known as The Observer you know anything about the overscar dynasty they do have quite a bit of lore and what's rumored to be one of the most powerful weapons in the Galaxy called The Observatory it is a star map of the entire galaxy and the controller of the star map has the ability to wipe higher galaxy solar systems out of existence and apparently the gene silicults can raise your buildings from underneath now they can like that huh what we're doing until they're gone just wow we have one more objective I believe nope that's all five this is the this is where three four five six wow apparently I can't count chat but that's fine um we're uh that will make a high scoring game if we each stand on 15. uh I don't know high scoring was what I was thinking we're both gonna die is that one there the uh icon award icon word clam of us I want bring him to me yes sir yes you do and these Jean sealers want to go on an assassination mission it's not a character I know I just yeah I'm a mean man and I don't like green yeah I know pretty much yeah but everything else I'm gonna have to like move away cool I'm curious to see how the double unkillable um man GSC their ability to just sweep a field when they could deep strike this because that's utterly impressive honestly what um so okay um so Forest uh Forest who won Bao last year which was like a 250 plus turn came in and played me my party versus me but while he was doing it he's talking about the importance of deep striking and while why everyone so much because rankers were a lot more melee based now in 10th edition they're a lot more so they can actually pick these weird angles and they don't need like oh you can't come within 12 inches of me it's okay I'm 24 inch range you know it's like so it became a different game as far as this you're playing something so uh I'll just describe the combo that I've designed here with these portals so the Tesla carbines on a critical hit uh get two extra hits with the plasma answer in the group that makes it a five up to make that happen and with sarsendrick in the group if I can get this dice on a five or a six yeah I know that's helpful but if it can happen if it can happen they get devastating they get lethal hits but if it can happen they get devastating wounds and I've done the math on it about 12 to which you know wow doesn't happen if you could choose that would be I have to say I think I'm leaning towards Immortals and more and more um play testimony so uh we're looking at movement here you have completely just devastated my feelings one year I I need to kill one unit of turn it still hurts my feelings okay that's okay it's okay you don't get to just walk into war and live you know you are not guaranteed to live yeah all right this is the battlefield ends to be fair they're already starting to collect their juicy samples back here now they're like hcsc look kind of interesting time to collect their uh collect their juices because didn't you say your Dynasty is all about collections acquisition Coalition absolutely um octaheim requisition Coalition is what it's called Arc and they're basically all about collecting genetic DNA to help cesaris reverse biotransference and they're also deploying obelisks to deny the warp which is what might always I pretty much always go with deploy teleport homers I really like the Behind Enemy Lines teleport homework combo combo um if you have something as powerful as these Transcendent catons to just sit back there they won our distraction if the enemy lets it happen and two it's guaranteed eight points every single turn I did mess up first turn though um um yeah I mean it was a little mess up but I get what you this strategy is sound oh God leaving stuff on the field there just to be very careful when you're trying to get a nice easy charge like that because if I shoot at him I pull models I could very easily just end up taking my own do keep in mind that the big bases in the water the heavy weapons so um I don't want to pull them for that is fair I will have to kill the heavier if I end up so something out by adding two inches to my charge here and still keeping that Squad Within 12. I could try to shoot at that Squad get what I want out of it so I think I'm gonna do that perfect I also think that I'm going to and the crazy thing about the GSC the alpha strike is I did I ended up killing one character Warriors sounds parades but a lot of other armies I'm expecting to kill a lot more I'm expecting at least two neophytes to pick up at least half a squad or so then the bombs to them off or vice versa but um macarons are so resilient that I had to put six units he died and it died on my very last shot on my very last gun so it wasn't like like oh I overkilled it gives me a smile it does it gives me a smile I know that I lost a huge chunk there three animations are great but now we can just smile as necron players reanimation so this guy gets to do an action good action all right down uh but yes so in this Mission you can only put so many down it's up to six nice to have an injected does it specify I don't know it doesn't really say on the car it has to say somewhere thought it said but I don't know about that chat is there a limit to how many objectives can go on a field only in this Mission I I don't don't see it well it might be a special rule oh yeah so I'm the things I wanted to do over here is these aberrant are a melee Powerhouse okay if they even had a chance to get to these Immortals my final quad of warriors on the field so to speak or battle line unit they would because of my movement have to go through the Transcendent Catan that's true so his placement there is is quite perfect I will be scoring eight on the end of my turn scored the primary put my but my clam of this snipering is actually more important I know he was uh so whenever I have a game or a tournament uh I spend a ridiculous amount of time going over the uh opponents each opponent's playlist and I specifically look at their characters and I make a high high profile Target list so he was number one high priority to destroy just because he could move an ambush marker um so let's do some um exos that's alive so we're gonna get he's gonna use a free strap you have plus one to wound for this squad on this one this one can't so that's half of this just don't let you do Ambush markers have now been destroyed oh right there do this against GSC if you do not do this you will not survive Beyond third turn you will be facing a landslide of points that uh Squad of snipers will be doing uh repair teleport homers okay repairing the teleport Homer here that's good so they don't shoot and that gives you five points for my uh for my so I'll get I'll be breaking in a total of eight see uh by allowing yourself to go with the ones where you Shuffle the deck and you choose random missions you're losing a single point one point on each objective secondary objective I thought it was five and but yeah you're totally right well instead of getting Five Points I'll be getting four cool but that's fine with me because uh in my opinion the way that I look at it is some of his objectives might actually be impossible to achieve if you're doing like what I'm doing and I'm building my list around objectives that I have in mind that I plan to achieve every single turn I have the ability to achieve eight points all five turns even if my Army is destroyed he still has to destroy these two Katan it's going to be almost impossible so even though I'm losing my Army it's possible I win the game all right so movement so that was the end of my movement now I if there's any shooting everything's tied up in combat um actually I'll take another movement over here of seven 24 is in it 'll be making a movement seven since they're no longer screening get them out there and start shooting with them it doesn't look like I'm going to use it on that's the one with the weave than everybody else's for instance I have a squad of canoptic spiders and I spent an extra 35 dollars just to put a depth as custody's character underneath one of those spiders um and I also broke a few of them to make them pose the way I wanted to propose three three or one I would say don't be afraid to make those tweaks to your models because that's what makes them unique put your Twist on it alkalites and the overlord we're re-rolling these ones I think four needing fives I'm really happy how they turned out to the optic spiders one points to pounds the other one's like standing on his hind leg so cool I'm loving all necrons in general are fun to model and really fun if you got to get into any army first Army I would say necrons is probably my top dog eight my buddy Josh started he can like he could fall back onto the objective and then get that primary so I think that's probably his best call with that no I don't think so I think trying to wipe out more ever and some gaining objective control there and trying to advance yeah another objective how many wounds he's only got three remaining so how many does he have left now over me oh I could kill him and I attack first you do um but go ahead and uh battlestock him yeah because he could be worth zero battle shock and then you couldn't use that yeah there you go so he could Auto pass it you're right if I fail I'd probably go right on the money all right and now you're gonna stay in fight those average and he choose not to go the wussy route he's looking at the scoreboard he's like no you said I maxed out primary right or secondary secondary we're both Max secondary so I'm going to lose anyways let's go hard I'm going to advance my uh snipers to try to get on that objective yeah uh X plus five do I get 11 11. you're on I'm on the objective bam all right and now that means that even though the Transcendent will most likely die you're not gonna lose he's gonna go for it so shooting pace seismic assault onto and the monster technically you can shoot into that Squad too okay yeah with a sustained hit there now it's gonna be on threes so four at negative two uh negative two Auto goes through okay so D3 on the first one first one three E3 on the next one three hey I called it good so what you're doing that I'm doing that shoot okay because that's kind of the two okay oh my God okay it would be like six six dudes I pulled eight because I don't even okay I'm gonna be a little bloodthirsty here and yeah and then uh attack try to kill those dudes all right my turn I'll Attack first with the average um four there but it's turned five so it does not so uh charging as well uh all OverWatch just yes with the flamers T6 11 saves uh 12. almost half what five on threes BL2 so far oh that was a call oh so they have four wins anyways so three or three one second so uh how many wins there I popped one on the OverWatch the other one charges in I'll probably kill him too and bolts because not the best at fighting but no they're not ahead but uh so yeah yeah I do hey check that out uh on threes bam and on threes fives damn fine all right now let's let's focus on the real fight here aberrance season ones fail that one and actually and I will see people roll here perfect he's been doing so much I'm playing with basically no CP no blam dude I'm feeling good uh threes five five saves needs to fail two of these but he's got that super feel no pain one one two easy three oh gonna live maybe four definitely living all right it takes three damage three field no pants uh-huh we're gonna just roll them all at once just for takes one more damage one damage and the wow he didn't oh he wounded though with the D3 Attack One More science man I'll spin my CP and then the single big attack it's plus to win no he lives you're fine three wins left punch back he gets two he kills them all and takes this away I mean he's already technically about to take if I can kill him three dudes do you just need to kill two dudes so uh he's oc4 on twos with sustained hits the last turn I did ten wounds this turn I did one all right big differences now on swing of the C10 outside oh the threes killed look at that two damage rolls one at a time first one four fine wow you can't take the objective oh man you can't take that's that a pile in just like boom that's the game great game good game yeah really good game all the right plays you did really good I definitely feel like I made the right place Advance there to take that objective did you get him his uh primary at the end last five perfect score final score 85 GSC 65 necrons great game yeah I can't be upset about that so good on secondary and that's this is perfect so what I was talking about as far as focusing on points this was the perfect game to watch for it because we're both at times where we damage to the other person but we chose to objective instead exactly the secondary objectives this got lucky because I got to come down right in your little Gap take that early that fake on that secondary right back with that fix maxed out so great job great job Graham thank you so there's proof that fixed sectionaries can be Max yeah there's proof especially with necrons because if you look at scari's last video on necrons he does the word blobs and talks about how uh how cleanse YouTube on primary objectives Blitz guard really don't have so they're able to do thanks a lot JV nice game thank you we also agree thank you about having fun you know even though I lost I had a great deal of fun like you said I feel like I made all the proper choices when it came to what was available at hand um deleting his blips was a huge part of my focus gonna say yeah that's you and it's a good Focus because that's how you beat ESC if you look at the board usually GSC would be swarming every objective if you look at my primary he's down on primary I played Seven games before this with GSC I'm Max primary every single game I'm not
