what you cooking roach what y'all cookin roast guys and welcome to my channel what you cookin wrote all right and for those that are new to my channel i appreciate the love for real all right thanks for checking me out okay y'all so check it i'm doing something fancy today yes i'm getting ready to do a garlic crusted rack of lamb now i've never had rack of lamb so i'm gonna be reading the instructions and all that other stuff and for this particular recipe that i got off the food wine website okay now i always been curious about um raccola and wanted to know what it was all about watching chef ramsay and all them fancy cook shows and stuff okay but never got to a restaurant to try it matter of fact it's way too expensive in the restaurant i spent 18 dollars for both these two pieces at walmart and it just called my name i seen it i was like hey there you go i need to try that black one right all right all right it's a lamp raccoon man okay so let me get started it doesn't take long to cook either okay you guys so i'm gonna do that garlic rusted tamari marinade that goes that roasted that's going to go on it so we're going to get that all those ingredients all blended up together and then get a rub and i'm going to let it sit for a little bit but enough of that let's get started nope i'm in gym i'm just getting the lease offices rosemary leaves all right these are the time all right i'm sorry lord these are the leaves what do i talk about this is the time over here i'm used to seeing this dry but i get it fresh though i actually i grow it in the summertime i can't wait i'm getting prepping right now to um start my um herbs okay herbs not the reefer herbs all right y'all so this has been a uh process but i'm enjoying the process so i had to i wanted to use some fresh thyme okay so i took the liberty to you know take the lease off and i'm also adding in um some rosemary into my eyes too all right so now the next step is is we're going to need to put this into the blender and then the um the garlic and um let me see that we're gonna gather in time i'm gonna put all that in there with the olive oil and that's gonna be the marinade that we're gonna put on to our lamb chops now i've seen i've seen a couple of different recipes where they were saying um you know let your lamb chops get room temperature and they have a lot of different um recipes there's a chef ramsay version that he does this encrusted um herb like with the herbs and then he like puts him in the process of like i'm getting ready to do and then it flakes it up and he you know he blends it to us like a flake and it was green it was like bright green too but then when he went to put his fingers in through it was all fluffy i was like whoa but that's that's too much chef grams but i wanted to try this because believe it or not before all the covet and all that hit i actually wanted to um apply for the master chef you know you never know what might happen with it but it was just gonna be a fun thing to do and i was gonna film the whole thing but it looks like it went through though because i seen uh this next season but nobody had no mask on so i was a little confused so anyway now y'all see that i got my new fancy uh i'm getting ready to use my new fancy blender i did a uh uh uh unboxing of me getting my new one all right so now let's get add a little olive started now and actually it's 1 4 cup of olive oil all right that's how i want so i may need to add a little more just turn up a little bit more [Music] and turn it off maybe let's get it uh take my top off get my spoon here y'all and it's looking pretty good i'm gonna do some potatoes oh yeah that's nice y'all i'm digging my new food processor all right that's about what it say you want it to be too all right it's nice right let me see that all right all right all right so we'll get that spread it on to our laptops be right back ciao we're getting ready to rub it down flip it and rub it brother flip it i think we ready all right this past this blend here smells really good you guys so you just supposed to put that on there and just spread that on there i am really digging my little processor mm-hmm again i just want to thank god being able to purchase something like that that's here oh this is gonna be good y'all i am i am so excited i got pretty that looks guys all right i'm gonna do the other side now then i i seen some recipes where they had where they were saying you have to put oil on the end of these bones because that's just a french cut so apparently there's meat over the whole bone and then the butcher trims it so they have a um structure because you can go on google and google any damn thing now but i'll show you how to do that if you don't get it cut but like i said i got this from sam's club and it just called out at me you know do something different all right actually i think you probably could have had a little more maybe not i'm following instructions and like i always say and um the ingredients are just the guideline all right you can add what you want like i said i see what i added in the um rosemary but i also seen recipes where they had rosemary so that's why it stuck out to me like that all right okay i'm gonna get all that goodness out that smells really good this is gonna be good y'all all right i'm done over here excited about my again i can't talk about it yeah about my blender oh yeah look at that then you want to give it a good massage i love massaging in your flavors into your food that's what you want to do and then i'm going to put that little kosher salt and pepper on top of it then i also seen some recipes had it where you scored the meat a little bit so i might come back to it and um they say score the fat a little bit like i said there's all kinds of different recipes of this how to make this all right so all right yeah i want to get all them flavors in there i see anywhere you they put it in the pan and give it a nice crust you know real quick crust that's what chef ramsay did that particular recipe but i don't know like i said this is my first time doing it so we're going to do it roaches away from the food and wine website but it does look good so far all right but let me go ahead and uh put a little so you can do that like that so you just want to put a little crust and they said you don't want to overdo it because i know it looked like i did but they say the meat has all that flavor in it mm-hmm i'm gonna be careful with this you guys because i thought i had a little thing on that see this is what does you know what you're doing when you do it like this all right okay now i don't know who gonna be eating these because it's just gonna be me and armani my son he might he may or may not like it i'm my husband and i already told him he didn't so i may need to be taking some of this to work now i'm doing some potatoes he's a little baby i got some little baby potatoes over here okay y'all just think i'm over here being bogged up all right so we got that going and that's what i'm doing i'm going to mash that i got my oven at um roast because you know i got a little fancy oven to do some stuff tricks and stuff so and we got that at 450 and so you we're gonna need to cook that um for uh it's easy it's easy i'm telling you this 450 you want to put it in an upper level third tier if you got one you know those racks you got to look at and go to the third tier and then you want to put it in there in the oven for about 15 minutes and then we're going to turn the racks over and roast for another 10 minutes longer for medium rare meat all right then we're gonna transfer it onto a carving board and then we're just gonna stand them up right and then we're gonna let them rest for about 10 minutes all right y'all we're gonna get this in the oven all right we got it ready i let it sit for about 10 15 minutes you know probably be really good if i had marinated it overnight or something like that but that's gonna be pretty good so we're gonna got that on that third rack i'm gonna let it roast like you said for about 15 minutes and then turn it over and do 10. all right okay guys by this rack of lamb is cooking i got these little potatoes little pearly little pearly little thingies here and um you can roast them or whatever but i think i'm gonna do some mashed potatoes okay now i'm putting them in my again my process all right joints is hot but i'm gonna try that out just put them in there like this they hot oh yeah last one i just lost one what the bum bum all right these mothers were getting ready to go bad too because i was messing around and got them a couple weeks ago and didn't do nothing with them put a little bit in that i don't wanna go too crazy pick up the one that i lost all right now i'm gonna add a little butter in there just a little bit it's unsalted too right that's just i'm just going to add just a little bit just just just a little bit of butter man okay all right adding a little salt kosher salt to that lock it down i'm submissions y'all know i'm just just now learning my little processor stuck lord okay jeez you know i gotta get used to this damn thing yeah maybe it wasn't in the plate right what we gonna see all right all right i'm gonna stop it let me see [Music] i gotta figure this thing i think you got something to do with this down here i ain't got that in there right oh that smell good i'm gonna add them in there i'm gonna add some more all right and then you know what i just realized i didn't even have to i didn't even add any milk to this i think about it i'm sure it didn't who y'all that's a lot thank you for riding with me with this y'all y'all i'm having a tough day today y'all it's been a long day oh we still got some potatoes that ain't crushed up yet so let's let's work that oh that's pretty good though i might put some milk [Music] you might need to put some milk in it let me put some milk i think pretty good a little salt a little i'm gonna pepper it now a little bit more soft back my friends is supposed to sit for a minute all right yeah bbb it said we done all right and then you let it sit [Music] and then we're going to slice it and bring that over here real quick get a good look at that all right pretty good smells good i don't know much about this meat i'm gonna flip it over i know timer and i'm gonna let it sit like it said to do to let it sit all right you see that let's get these lamb chops cut they done all right now my lighting ain't right i ain't really happy about my life so i'm gonna put it up now i'm gonna dip mine a little bit more this juice not supposed to just be medium rare now y'all all right so for those who don't like medium rare this ain't for you because i don't think you oh man oh nice i think i did this oh yes look at that yo that's perfect this that's that's the way it should be i'm just i'm a natural i was born to do this i just didn't i was didn't realize it when i was younger you know um okay chef ramsay that's what i'm saying i come on that show and then i do this and never done it before and it come up perfect wow wow i need to pat myself on my back now cutting this thing is a little tricky maybe because in the knife i got but um y'all i did that i'm finished cutting the rest of it yeah i don't like the way it's cutting at the end there we just do it like that and then maybe do that yeah that's not cutting in that bone but that's all good though i dig oh yes we just see we couldn't add that in there because chef be mad talking about that's not right man look at that look at that you go roach you did that now i'm gonna put a plate together with these old mashed potatoes that i got and then i'm gonna give it a taste because i'm so excited yes all right i'm gonna play i'm gonna play together i am so excited now we got the mashed potatoes that i've experimented with you know so i ain't gonna put them in that the processor no more taste i'm just gonna do them like i normally do old fashioned ones but anyway they turned out pretty good i'm gonna put a little bit onto our plate like so yeah because they're a little too creamy but it's okay it's all about learning and experimenting all right now the star to show us is these uh lamb chops oh man i'm so proud of myself supposed to do what we gonna do you gonna plate it like they do see i can't get it all right there we go i think i think i got it think i think my presentation is a little off but i tell you what and then my lamb chops is on point right there you go all right see it's all about just taking a chance and doing things for the first time all right that's how you have the experience of learning and tasting different things okay so now dude gotta taste it all right let me give him a i said like i said ain't nobody in this house gonna eat this but me i don't think my son gonna eat it all right y'all here we go let's see what it's all about i'm almost scared first first of all let me let me let me i'm gonna taste the potatoes so they too damn creamy i'm too damn creepy but that's all right they cream potato and i need to um yeah i'm trying to cuss again i'm so bad y'all i'ma try to stop cussing so much and perfect now like i said i've never had lamb and you see how kind of rare this is but this is the way it should be oh y'all please pray for me please pray for me pray for me huh i don't know man wow i'm different taste y'all i cooked it perfect though and that's not bad like i said i don't think nobody gonna eat this i don't even think my son might not even even okay he'll be grabbing a little live pop of it now but it's pretty good but i won't be using my um processor to do my master taste i'm doing like a i'm gonna do better i'm tasting too and all i needed was some vegetable i did good i'm fancy cooking i'm fancy cooking all right that is good wow let me know and y'all like to see some more videos about me trying new um fancy cuisines and fast pieces of me because like i said this mean one cheap 18 but normally you spend 18 just for a more you know for these lamb chops and you
